Fast and efficient to install radio for me. They even finished early

This shop does great work. I came to them with a bit of an unusual request in that I needed my ham radio transceiver installed. They had never done this particular type of work before but I gave them the materials and documentation on how to perform the installation. This included routing power through the firewall, installing the radio under the passenger seat, and routing the coax cable to the trunk. It took them less than a day to perform the work and everything worked perfectly. They costed the job as an ‘amplifier installation’ plus one hour of shop time.Now for the part where they go above and beyond. I provided the antenna and coax cable but (in hindsight) should have given them a better antenna mount and cable. I tried to do the work on my own but couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to get the rear seat out. I took the car back to them, perfectly willing to pay them to do the additional work. The technician came out and pulled the seat up in about two minutes and didn’t charge me.I’ll be going back to them the next time I need this type of work done.

If you are an audio nut, get yourself out to safe and sound! Youll get an honest answer when you have questions because everyone there has the working knowledge. Completely recommend!

Had scheduled an appointment for installing a Viper remote starter for my 19 Kia Optima. The staff was helpful and informative with the process. I was told that it might take all day to complete the installation but after 2.5 hours I received a phone call to pickup the car which was awesome. I highly recommend coming here to upgrade your vehicle.

Took my RV there to get some wireless cameras my wife purchased installed. The Tech Mike had quite the time installing them on my 200 Allegro, BUT he did it. He explained that the back up camera was wireless but he was able to hard wire the 2 side cameras. He was very courteous as well as the front counter young man. Mike took the time to explain everything to me INCLUDING that he was going to hold the bill to the quoted 6 hrs even though it took him several hours longer. Thank you!

I stopped by today and get a quote for my truck alarm installation and the young man at the front desk was so rude with me, I left so disappointed and I went to other place where I was treated like a real customer deserve it. I had a bad experience visiting this place and I wouldnt recommend it.

TLDR; ~39 phone called, 3 visits resulted in: 1 of the electronics they installed I had to fix myself, another still doesnt work after 3 visits, and the last electronic issue I am taking somewhere else to get fixed.In all honestly, one of the worst shops I have ever been to in my life, and not worth the money. I originally went to the because of their stellar reviews on google, which is extremely impressive, but the service I have received has been beyond horrible.What I got done: Installed aftermarket amp + subwoofer, Viper remote start + security system, and power inverter, and sound dampening.1st Visit: They installed both the sub + amp and the power inverter incorrectly per manufacturer specs and the sub + amp was only half installed and me and my dad had to finish the install ourselves. When I questioned the technician who installed it as to why a 800 watt subwoofer was inaudible from 1 foot away his response was idk, its not a amp we carry. The reason was that they didnt finish the installation/configuration but if they are willing to install a customer brough amp + sub and charge for install they should at least test that it works. They also left gross crud all over my car, which was spotless when I brought it to them because I am very particular about my vehicles cleanliness. The remote alarm system also triggered every single time I locked my car meaning they didnt test that either, even though they kept my car 2 days longer than they were supposed to. Because of how bad the first tech screwed up everything else I feel that the sound dampening was most likely installed incorrectly which is why it feels like it barely does anything....2nd visit: They reinstalled the sub + amp and inverter correctly and fixed the alarm system going off all the time. They also installed a inverter remote as compensation, however, they didnt actually test the remote as it doesnt work.3rd visit: they tried to troubleshoot the inverter remote not working and the constant battery low alarms going off with my Viper alarm system and replaced the battery but after talking with the tech and the viper manufacturer it appears that the battery might have been installed incorrectly.I have a 4th visit coming to replace the inverter, will go somewhere else to fix the rest of the issues.

I came in with my 2007 Jeep Wrangler to have new speakers and an Amp installed so I could actually hear my music with the top and doors off. Sam was super helpful with helping me pick out good options that were budget friendly! The prices are very reasonable and their selection is off the charts. I found the set up I wanted and I was very happy to hear that they could get it done that day! The work they did was extremely high quality and they worked with a few issues that arose perfectly. I am very happy with the system and I can finally hear my music! Thank you guys.

I went to Safe and Sound Mobile because they had good ratings, but they exceeded even those expectations. Theyre showroom is very cool and quite elegant. Sam, the man behind the counter could not have been more friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Duane the installer did an immaculate job, gave me my car back clean as a whistle, and ran me through the operation of my Viper alarm/remote start. If youre upping your cars game, go to this place!

Big shout out to these guys for the expert instillation and customer service. I recently purchased a 2015 Hellcat and I wanted an extra layer of protection for the wheels. Elias pointed me in the right direction with a tilt sensor and Brendan knocked it out of the park with the instillation. Overall a great experience and a well rounded shop!! Great shop for updating/ upgrading your car. I only had a minor upgrade done for my headlights, but the staff was very professional walking me through the potential pitfalls vs the best options. The sales man spent a lot of time with me answering my questions. It was worth the time to understand the details. It was estimated my job would take 1 hour. It took half the time. They only charged me for the 30 minutes. I really appreciate the honesty and the time spent giving me the details of the work. I highly recommend this place.

I highly recommend this electronics shop. They are friendly, professional and easy to work with. Major Kudos to their skilled tech named Mike as well as Tim and staff. They installed and configured Dash Cams and Hubx for me and Im tickled to death with the outcome, The install is clean and looks great. NO MORE problems with insurance claims when it becomes one of those cases with no witnesses. Their word against yours if there are no other witnesses! Saves on high deductibles. The BlackVue 900s is a great Dash Cam and its nice having a rear cam also. I still have one more vehicle that needs to have cams installed. Thanks again guys for all your help. I would HIGHLY recommend Safe & Sound. I had a sub/amp installed in my car, and had done some research prior. With a 2018 car and factory upgraded sound system, the electronics were beyond my scope of knowledge, and searching forums online proved to be no help. Wary I could get the sound I wanted without significant modifications, I called Safe & Sound. I spoke to Tim who assured me they could get the job done. I went in the next day, and spoke to Sam, and he helped me select the perfect sub/amp combo for my car. I was actually very impressed by their retail prices. Safe & Sounds prices were identical to the manufacturers prices. Install prices for the sub, amp, and DSP were reasonable. They made an appointment for me to drop off the car the next day. I returned the next day to hand over my car to technician Mike. Mike was definitely amazing. He understood my concerns, got a firm grasp of what I wanted, and got to work. Within 5 hours, the job was complete. The bass knob was installed in dash, and it looks like a factory knob. Extremely well done. He mounted the sub in the trunk and hid the amp. He took every minor detail into consideration. Now knowing how skilled Mike was, Safe & Sound could increase their install prices and Id still be very happy to pay. Will definitely return for all of my car audio needs. Thanks!

The only system that would work in my car was the same exact one from Honda. It was a massive headache. Great service and excellent installation in my Jeep Wrangler. Upgraded the mids, tweeters, added 600 watt amp and a JL Audio CP212 subwoofer. Sound is clear and quality of work was done exceptional. Ive gotten many a complement regarding how good it sounds. Sam and the crew did it right and I will definitely be back for future upgrades.

Ive been using Safe and Sound for my auto electronics needs since 2012. Ive had them do stereo, backup camera and remote starter work on three different vehicles and i have been very satisfied. I scheduled a time to have these guys diagnose an issue with my stereos radio after getting a recommendation from my dealers service department. They devoted a good couple of hours of time and effort of doing the most thorough troubleshooting possible. And when their initial hunch of what the issue was didnt pan out, they continued investigating until they found and fixed one single tiny thing that wasnt connected properly. The entire time they were professional and respectful, and took time to stop by the waiting area to tell me what was going on. I was really very impressed.

Craig, Elias and Brendan took the time (and patience) to explain in a language I could understand, what would give me the best sound in my car. It was not the original unit that caught my eye, but I trusted Craigs advice and I have a better car stereo as a result of his expertise. I just picked up my car yesterday with a new amplifier, crossovers, and 3-way speakers and my jaw is still dragging on the ground. Theyve got a good selection of stuff, but the staff leaves something to be desired. Im blown off every time I go in here and have to try to get an employees attention before Im helped. The one in Manassas has a nicer staff.

The amazing team installed an Android Auto System and an Alpine stereo system for me. They staff was polite, fast, provided honest service. They even gave me a military discount. The shop has a modern, clean waiting room with huge TV, comfortable seating and free WiFi.

They have good stuff but when I got there I waited 45 mins. Then one guy noticed me and tried to sell me new audio equipment in 10K ... blah blah blah . Minimum was $2500 and also I have to leave my car there for 7 days . no rental offering etc.. personally I am not going back . But ..... If you have extra 10k to throw on a dual bass subwoofer for your BMW and able to manage to without your car for few days as they tell you then this is the right place for you . . ..

I happened to stop by for a cable, ended up having them install my whole system. Im very pleased with them as they will go the extra mile to make sure youre satisfied. I will come back.

Added sub woofers with custom enclosure and amp, tint and sound deadening to my 2015 Maserati QP. The custom enclosure is truly a work of art. The sound of my exhaust drone has been reduced drastically.Elias and Matt were very customers focused and the end product is EXCELLENT ! I highly recommend safe and sound.

Got my remote start at the Manassas location a year ago but got my batteries to our remote changed at the Chantilly location this year. They also fixed my actuator. Its expensive but they guarantee their work. The customer service is always on point- great guys! I will come back.

This is a stand up company, with stand up mechanics! These gifted engineers are honest, friendly, efficient, patient and have the utmost integrity. The flawless installation of CarPlay to my 2011Honda Pilot looks like it came with the unit. Even the guys at the Honda service center asked me where I had it installed as they were very impressed with the craftsmanship. Elias and the team are always ready to answer questions and help anytime. When my first unit experienced a small issue, they replaced the entire unit, free of charge, no questions asked!! Dont go out and buy a new car if you want Carplay---these guys will make it happen for you and SO much more !!! :)))

I had a buzzing sound in the subwoofer of my Honda Pilot. I stopped at Safe and Sound expecting to replace the subwoofer. Brendan Introduced himself and offered to take a look at my issue. He found a loose screw on one of the tie downs and after he tightened the screw, the problem was solved. The next time I need an auto sound system or repair, Ill be patronizing Safe and Sound.

These folks did a great job installing a remote start and security system for my vehicle. I plan on having more work done through them.

I got a kenwood headunit installed overall I would recommend safe and sound. Prices are a little bit high for just installing a Bluetooth headunit. But overall they did a good job on installing the headunit.
