We purchased a kid size Halloween costume and a crown on 10/3. At the time of purchase, it was confirmed by the person at billing counter that return time frame is 30 days. When I want to return today, the return was refused and the person at the counter just parotted the sentence the costume is Halloween costume return cant be accepted 7 days prior to Halloween when I try to explain what was told by their personnel at the time of purchase. Not over he called for backup as if, we are threatening. Which explains how badly the customers are treated, being reflected in the previous posts. I will never return to this location..

I just went here and paid in cash, and upon receiving the wrong change was asked if i “really needed it” because the cashier didn’t have the key. Another employee got my correct change for me and other than that the experience was okay

When your mistake inconveniences customers and/or delivery workers, train your employees to apologize...it goes a LONG way. This used to be common courtesy. It seems like a stretch here, EXCEPT for the most courteous employee Jose, who is polite, hardworking, and professional.

This Party City in Chantilly is our go-to place for holiday and bday events. They have all of the balloons and decorations we desire. A party cannot happen unless we go to Party City.

Pretty good in the ballon department! Next time I’m going to tell them to tie a knot on my balloons so they last longer! I usually go there to get my balloons for open houses. I love the color selection. And I love watching them blowup the balloons. And the way they style them its fun to watch. i’ll take a picture next time!

They have good deals. Service is a little slow but they are helpful!

They obviously don’t have anyone actually working as their in store and online inventory don’t match. Wasted my time driving down there for a product that said it was in stock at the store. So I’m not really mad or annoyed that I wasted my time driving down their to purchase birthday decorations as was unable to find the product that said it available to purchase... it’s that and more... first the online website says they do delivery (UP To) 15 miles from the store. I live 11 miles away but somehow they don’t deliver to my location. Obviously they just want to deliver local... like walking distance. Gross. Then I arrive at the store I asked two female associates assigned or working in the department they told me that the only thing they had in stock was what was on the floor and pointed out the location or the rack. I had to ask them multiple times if they would look it up in their system. It showed they had two. That’s what I was told but they made excuses that it must be wrong and the inventory should be updated. Thy didn’t look anywhere else. They didn’t look behind the counter, at returns, any of the registers or the back AND they never asked a manager to verify before telling me they didn’t have it. They also refused to look in the back after I asked them if they could check in case it was placed back there or if it was just stored someplace else. I felt they were rude. I will never go back to that location.

The shelves are stocked...imagine that! How does a Party City handle stocking their shelves with every party and Halloween costume need and Target cannot stock hand soaps and Clorox disinfectants?? Bizarre! Fair prices and very helpful staff available for your needs.

The worst staff ever. They seem to enjoy talking with each other a lot, instead of listening to the customers. Nobody attends to the cash register, even if there is a line waiting. Ends up going there because it is the closest Party City for us. As it always happens, we checked and balloon bunch was missing the exact count. And when we told them it is not right, the girl at the counter claimed we were wrong without even checking. And finally we had to insist on counting the balloons again. And today morning, we see the high floats were missing in those balloons, as just those ones have come down. Such a waste of time, always.

Customer service could use some improvement, bunch of teenagers work there, the bad language they use when talking to each other is really bad... all you want to do is grab your stuff and leave the store quick.. very uncomfortable shopping experience

The manager LAURA is so incredibly rude!!! I never take the time to write reviews but this is the second time I have been flabbergasted by her behavior! Her attitude is disgusting and she should not be in a managerial position! I will be avoiding this location like the plague!

Meeeh!! I am hate that I have to come here now. The service was just okay. The girl at the balloon counter was nice (Kiera Kara) I cant remember. But at the register the young lady didnt want to help me put the balloons in the bag. They charge for helium. I used to go to Party Co in Manassas but sadly they are closing due to retirement. I am beyond sad! The customer service there is way better!!!

RUDE employees! I placed an order online for in store pick up not only they messed up my order but they kept me waiting for over 40 minutes without making any efforts and when I asked to be helped after 40 min a lady employee started yelling at me! My mouth dropped open!

Awful, awful customer service!!! Being the ONLY person in line, I thought I would be able to check-out quickly. I waited patiently initially until I realized I was waiting while listening to an unprofessional conversation about some dude these ladies needed to discuss. I asked if I could check out and I was told “in a minute” and the same senseless conversation continued. Needless to say, I left without purchasing ANYTHING! The service is actually less than 1star...shameful!!!!

Was searching for pirate attire after Thanksgiving, for a post-Thanksgiving gathering called Planks-giving. Party City did not disappoint with their in-store selections. I wanted to have my costume ready to go for tomorrow. I tend to rely on Amazon Prime and 1-day shipping, but this was a quicker and more assured experience.

Great store. Very helpful. Sometimes it gets very busy in the balloon section. Try to go off hours to get balloons. Everything else is great.

Huge range of already known themes. Very very pricey, though lot of things available for every budget.They can be little innovative with adding new n creative themes of their own.End of store there is full aisle of every color n lot of collection for decor n props of each color.

One minute of your time taking my order on a simple, single item, curbside pickup would have saved several wasted minutes of my time via extra order steps online. So you lost an easy sale.

Didnt let me know the order wasnt complete. Online said balloons were in stock, store said no (only after the fact). Had to have a fail for an already stressful birthday party no thanks to this place.

The store has a wide variety of party favors for any occasion.Maybe they had a busy day when we arrived there, but it seems they could have items stocked better. But then again, thats alot if party favors to put on the shelf.

I will say depending on your luck..sometimes you can find some really great and cheap deals here like the cake stand here are the cheapest ones you can find anywhere else.. also this particular location has less crowd and more in stock items as compared to sterling location.. but most of the stuff is still seems overpriced and also they recently stopped taking returns of all cutlery and food serving items obviously because of health warnings..

Overcrowded, tight store.

I was one of two people in the checkout line and we waited about 5 minutes until someone decided to come up front and ring us up. If not a busy day, employees should be checking the front to make sure customers are not waiting around on them. I understand waiting if its busy but there were about 3 customers in the store in this day.

I have been there few days ago, as I entered no one appear to greet me so I feel weird, nobody offered any help, and when it was time to checkout I went to wrong place so one of the girl said me it’s on the other side with no professionalism and there were 4 girls no one looks professional at all, never going back there anymore 👎

Some stuff they sell you can get cheaper at dollar tree or walmart. Go early for halloween costume to avoid lines. Great place to find color themed spirit wear.

Store unorganized and messy. Most of the staff Ive encountered are rude. Dont waste time buying online for store pickup. It would be faster to just buy directly from the store because their online pickup process is weird and extremely time consuming. Also, the free police ride sign is tacky. That goes without saying....

This is by far the worse Party City Ive ever been to!!! Went there on 11/23/19 and they were still taking down the Halloween stuff. Floor was so full of boxes, it was hard to walk around. Some isles were impassable. The employees looked bothered by the customers presence. I had to ask an associate for help and, before helping me, she stopped to chat with an off duty employee. Ill never come back... Id rather drive a little more to get to their Fairfax location.

They messed up my party plan. Ordered balloons online in two weeks advance and got email that my order is processing. Since then, I didnt get any email that confirms my order is ready to pick up. I called the store in the morning on the day that supposed to pick up, they said it is ready.I headed the store afterward, it wasnt ready and there were long line that I had to wait.Then I received the balloons less than I ordered. They said there is no more balloons left.This was awful and I wasnt told anything before hand.When I was ordering two weeks earlier, there were enough inventories showed online.The customer service was awful and not responsible. I do not want to use this store location any more.

A large Party City. Overall its clean and easy to find what youre looking for. The cashiers are friendly, and it only takes a minute for someone to help you at the balloon counter. You never end up waiting long for your balloons or to check out here.

Good collection but bad service. The clerk at checkout lied on my face saying a coupon did not work while I could see on her computer that it did. She removed and when asked to reenter it again worked.

Staff are not friendly here. Was purchasing balloons for a birthday and they do not even offer a free clip to weigh it down like the supermarkets do (you need to buy a larger heavier weight). When I asked if they had a 2nd birthday balloon the employee just said no and did not help me find an alternative, just stared past me as I looked at the balloons. Person who rang us up did the same no eye contact thing. However, they do have a great selection of things, just wish there was someone who could help you there.

Ordered two dozen balloons for a party. When picking up the balloons, one bag was not floating as well as the other. I asked the sales associate why both bags werent floating the same way and she said that one of the plastic bags was heavier. Once I got home to arrange the balloons, I noticed that the second bag wasnt floating at all and all the balloons inside were half filled. Called the store, after talking to 3 different people, the manger said to bring back all the balloons as proof that this actually happened. Dealing with them was a waste of time and money. Unprofessional and terrible service.

Worst party city store. I ordered online to have a quick pick up to avoid having to go thru the isles. Anyways they bounced me back and forth between nornal cashier and online order cashier. Not only that but the cashier at the online register had the worst attitude. When I told her she needs to learn manners she responded dont tell me what to do I was very irritated so I contacted party city corporate office and guess what? They havent even bother to call me back. So I guess service will be as bad! There is other stores where I rather go.Not going back to this one.

While at this store recently doing my shopping for a mask for my wife to wear while in public I was rudely exposed to several female employees who were actually allowed to wear shoes and socks while cleaning the store. As a male I find this absolutely offensive and inappropriate. This is not what jesus would want to see. Ill pray for the management to make the necessary changes.
