I find this place to be extremely helpful! The service was nice and the staff helped me pick out a weapon to shoot my dog with. My dog was very sick and they suggested something painless and gave me an AR-15. This place is awesome and I highly suggest it!

Theres an impressive room dedicated to Pat Rogers. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, will definitely be coming back.

Jimmy was very helpful. I was there to buy a rail for my rifle. He helped me find the right one, then said it would be better for me to speak with a gunsmith to find a better solution. I will definitely be back to F3.

I was recommended by a friend I work with and was only looking for 511 pants and left with a belt and shoes! What a great place and great people! I am glad I came and will most definitely be coming back.

Visited F3 Tactical yesterday to aquire some equipment I needed in the coming weeks. I met with Jimmy and Chief and explained what I needed.Jimmy took a great amount of time explaining the features and benefits to each piece of equipment and what was needed. He asked important questions and offered his personal experience, which helped greatly.Inside Northern VA there isnt a better shop to acquire your duty kit. If they dont have it, they can order it or have inventory of something comparable.Support your local business. Stop trying to save a penny going online....it cost a nickel more to go first class.

My experience with this store was not very pleasant. Two days ago I went to the store with my son because he has taken an interest in firearms and asked me to take him to a gun store to look at the guns. But as I walked in, I saw an overweight, hairy man, I assume the owner, rolling around on the floor, screaming and crying like an infant. (An infant the size of a refrigerator, that is.) The man was also wearing nothing except for a diaper, and the store smelled strongly of feces. I could tell my son was mortified by the look on his face, and we ran out of the store and back into the car as fast as possible. He hasn’t spoken to me since. I would not recommend going to this gun store, ESPECIALLY with the young ones.

Best tactical shop around. Jimmy and Chief are very knowledgeable about gear/kit and know what’s going on in the industry to give you the best advice for the customer. I always try to stop in because they always have the best and newest gear.

First - Bolt. If you like dogs, hes such a ham and worth a visit alone. Then everyone else is the shop is very helpful and supportive of any LEO or MIL folks, as well as those of us not serving in some capacity. Truly great folks and love offering support when I can.

Good selection of 5.11 pants for men and women. Jimmy as always was a little sarcastic which I like. I noticed that they have all the parts to build, repair or modify an AR-15. This is great to know if you lose a pin or small spring or need a tool to do the work. Its full retail unless you sign up for the rewards program. Great experience as always.

No matter what I am looking for, they either have it or can get it in a matter of only a few days. Their knowledge of the merchandise is unsurpassed by anyone that I have dealt with. Chief and Jimmy are always ready to help and point you in the right direction. Always worth the 1.5 hour drive.

Repeatedly yelled at me to leave the building for an odor I was not responsible for. Wouldnt accept my explanation for the smell and threatened to call the police.

Nice guys. Bought a kore belt here. They gave me a quick rundown on it and even trimmed it up for me.

Heard of F3 for a while, just never stopped by till today. Needed something for a class and found it there. Nice to see quality tactical brands/products at a local brick and mortar shop. Usually you can only find 5.11, Blackhawk or cheap knock off brands at the local shops.

I realized that I would need at least one day to look at every product they stocked. I wasnt sure when I would be back so I chose 10 aisles and half way through completely forgot what I really needed but I left with $143 what I wanted. Online shopping is there for a reason.

Just left no greeting in store woman who helped me had a horrible personality with me as a customers. She came off sarcastic with her questions. The male who had facial hair his name was Jim or James. He was negative about my company. I wont ever suggest people to shop here. They need better customer service.

Picked up some shirts and frog lube today, the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The products they offer are high quality equipment, not junk Chinese knock-off stuff you see at the gun shows. Prices are fair and they are well stocked, the place seems like a modern surplus shop. You can expect to find everything except for the guns, though they do have plenty of equipment for your AR-15 rifle including full upper receivers, sights, optics, etc. Ill definitely be a repeat customer.

10/10. Picked up an RMR last time I was in and the gentleman who assisted me offered solid tips based on his experience. He made sure I knew what I was doing with the install and maintenance before I left. I’m fairly antisocial and particular but these people give me good feels.

I called to see if they had what I needed in stock. The lady that answered the phone was nice and told me that they had what I needed. I arrived 10 minutes before they closed. Was helped and out in less than 5 minutes.

As a MTF Trans person of color I felt the service there was unwelcoming....

BUYER BEWARE . This store does not take returns. When asked why they didnt, the owner became very combative and rude. He then threatened to not even take the product back for an exchange. I havent been treated this poorly by any shop before. While I questioned his policy, at no point was I rude or even raised my voice. There are plenty of other stores in this area without rude staff. Would never recommend.

Completely ignored by staff until I asked if an item was in stock. Was cut off mid sentence and told if its not on the shelf they dont have it and they wont order an item. There are other gun stores in the area with much friendlier staff, I would recommend you go to one of them.

Leanna was the first lady I have delt with in a tac shop who knew what she was doing. The fellas Jim and Marty were great. They had everything from the mass IIIto level IV ceramic stand alone with carriers to handcuffs. The clothing and gear is top notch, no junk ! Recommend to all... I really liked the fact that Jimmy went out of his way to find a trivial part, rather than just cop out .. great customer service.

I recently visited F3 tactical while home on vacation and my latest experience will be my last.I drove about 25 mins to get to the newer location of the store. I walked in a was greeted by a women whos was at the front of the store. I was specifically looking for a magazine pouch for a glock 43 magazine. After looking around the store I asked the bearded man (name unknown) standing the counter. His response was they are in the corner. I the. Went back to see if I had missed it, i did not see it again and asked him to show me what they had and show him my magazine. To which I received the same answer. I found a talon grip for a gun and a holster. I asked if a LEO/MIL. Discount was offered, if so what would it be? I had found the same item on Amazon and figure it would be close to the same price online with a 10% Discount. The response I record from the bearded man when I asked for the discount was we have to keep the lights on. He then walked away for the counter and began to turn the lights off in the store with about 20 mins to close.I walked out to my vehicle because In disbelief because I have never experienced this during previous visits at the older location. I walked back in to directly express my concerns to the man and his management if possible. The women I was initially greeted by was not aware where he was at. I explained my concerns and it appeared as if she was not concerned with hearing what I was saying.With the ability to get anything and everything online smaller stores that have to keep the lights on should at least express some sort of customer service skills if they wish to stay in business. I would highly suggest others to take their business to the other surrounding stores nearby.

Whenever I stop in, I usually have an idea of what I am looking for as well as a few things that I didnt know I needed. It is a bit of a drive from WV, but my experience with the customer service there is worth a bit of a drive.
