Needed Virginia state inspections (including emissions). Got there just before they opened and was first in line. They started work on the car immediately. I sat in their waiting room patiently for a bit more than a half-hour. Job was done quickly and efficiently. Their employees were friendly and had a pleasant sense of humor. Will use them again..

Telephone interaction was great, very polite and professional, facility look amazingly well organized and clean and they have an ATM system to collect your car after operating hours...unfortunately for our first time they forgot to put the sticker on the windshield for safety inspection and the associated paper, had to drive there the next day to fix it. Would have appreciated an incentive to come back next time but...nope...

I absolutely LOVED this establishment! Beth was my Advisor and she was so pleasant! Technician Rafael did an excellent job patching up my tire and inspected my entire vehicle! I was so impressed with how this shop ADAPTED to the pandemic. I also had the pleasure of meeting Gregg the Owner. His philosophy about business as well as the personal development of his staff was refreshing. My significant other and I live almost 45 minutes away, but we have found our shop! You know youve found an honest place to work when they pass on a big, expensive job to take care of their customer. Long story short, transmission in my Truck went out. The staff went above and beyond, ran the VIN number on my truck to see the history. Turns out, the previous owner bought it as a CPO vehicle and therefor was covered under warranty. They towed it to the Chevy chop, had them do the repair then towed it back to me. OUTSTANDING! They passed up a $4,000 job to make sure they did their best for a customer. THATS how I know I can Trust The Repair.

This was my first experience with G&C Tire and Auto, and I must say... The next time Im in need of auto services I will be going back. Every part of my service experience was top notch. From the price, customer service, to the quality of service provided... I couldnt be more satisfied.

Customer service/prices are great but the technicians(at least the one i had) will absolutely butcher your car. Ive changed my oil for years in my garage, i take my car here once and the bolt to drain my oil is stripped horribly, almost like mush. On WAY too tight along with the oil filter. I also replaced spark plugs/coil packs shortly before bringing my car here and they said it needed replaced. Im not a mechanic but i know enough to know they did not in fact need to be replaced, oil filters are not supposed to be torqued down a ridiculous amount like that and oil pan drain bolts arent supposed to be mashed potatoes. Christopher J serviced my car. Caused a lot of extra time and troubles for me.

Got my state inspection at this place. First time visiting. Really good experience. Fast service. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Found out that they do alot with tires and wheels. I plan on visiting them later when that issue comes up.

Reviews of G&C in Chantilly helped me make my decision to book an appointment for a pre-purchase vehicle inspection. Im so happy I did this. My advisor Brandon and tech Sandy provided outstanding service. They do a very thorough job and document (including pictures) everything. They provide advice and details. Armed with the information they provided about my 2012 Frontier I was able to show the dealer the issues the vehicle had and worked out a lower price for the vehicle. If you happen to be there around breakfast/lunch time, there is a great mom and pop deli (Checkers) very close. Before you purchase that used vehicle, call Brandon and book an appointment. This is a must do!

Poor communication both to the customer and internally within the organization. Was quoted for 2.5 hours for repair, fast forward to 4 hours, informed that the repair was about to begin. Was told that Jack (whom I received the quote from) did not set realistic expectations. Furthermore, needs to refine their processes in assessing damage. Conducted wheel alignment before the tire patch and based on the conversation, sounded like I was going to need to replace all four tires. When asked why the wheel alignment was done first, was told that they have independent systems/teams that dont talk to each other within the shop. Putting the cart before the horse is an understatement.

So, to start, As a younger woman, sometimes its very intimidating going to get auto work done. Lots of pushing around and scare tactics- BUT NOT HERE. I initially went in for a state inspection. I have only been here a few months, but I will never go anywhere else. Beth is AMAZING. She is so knowledgeable and sweet and friendly! Great phone service, great in person service! Went in very early, was met at my car. From paperwork to pay, everything was a breeze! Several more employees even approached me in the waiting room, one offering me a wide selection of beverages and snacks, and another just to pop in and joke. I loved it. I felt like family immediately. I got comprehensible documentation about my visit, about my service and what I should keep an eye out for in the future. I will NEVER go ANYWHERE ELSE!

Ryan was able to give me a great quote (which actually ended up being lower than initially expected) and timely service. In and out with a fresh set of tired within 12 hours on the eve of a holiday! Good tire service. Nice people. No pressure. A little disappointed on the price of other services they recommend after vehicle inspection. A simple front brake job I can do in a few hours costs 2 days of pay for me. Not that much different than other shops, but wish I could get paid that for a few hours of work.

Fantastic car repair business! I’ve been using them for years and I’ve never been unhappy with the service I’ve received. Recently, I had alternator troubles and needed to replace my battery as well. My advisor, Ryan, was able to cover parts of my repair because they were under warranty. They really guarantee their work! And my technician, Mark, did superb work as always. They run a tight (and well sanitized) ship at G&C and I always appreciate the work they do.

The crew at G&C are on a different level than most places. Super professional, on time and well within my budget. 1. Sold me a tire that I didn’t actually need. Upcharging in the thousands for tire repairs I didn’t need (they did a pressure check on my fourth tire and didn’t let me look but insisted I needed the 4 tires)2. Changed my Air filter when I didn’t even asked for it but charged me anyway. Took my new one I just installed.

I was lucky to have found G and C three years ago when I moved to Virginia from abroad. I own a 2013 Ford Escape and there were several things I needed to have done to my vehicle in order to properly register it in the US. I assumed I could take care of everything at any of the auto services in the area, but was wrong. I randomly brought my car to G and C after having it elsewhere. This should have been my first stop; after a stressful move it was nice to encounter such friendly and considerate people.The facility is very nice. They have an office area with wi-fi, a large tv and lots of things for children to play with, not just broken crayons and highlights magazine. I usually dont make alternate arrangements, for my son and I, when I bring my car in for routine care (pre-covid of course).They are very thorough and transparent, providing pictures throughout inspection and services. Whenever I wanted specialty services they do not usually provide such as windshield nicks and detailing, they brought people in to ensure a one-stop-shop and even lent me a free vehicle so I wouldnt have to wait.Bottom line:They excel beyond measure when caring for customers and their vehicles and I would go out of my way to bring my vehicle to G and C, as they go out of their way to provide a stress free experience each and every time.

I was traveling through town on the way to my mother’s funeral. I noticed a large bolt stuck in my front left tire. I looked around on Google to find a tire service place nearby. I found lots of 3 star places, but then I came across G &C, who was rated 4.7 / 5 stars... with numerous outstanding reviews.So I drove up to the place, and was greeted with professionalism and a big welcome. This is a family owned business and all of the employees I came into contact with were amazing.They were able to squeeze me in because I had to get back on the road. Ryan, who received me and took info was amazing. Matthew who fixed my tire did it very quickly and did a great job.I have family in the area and will be highly recommending they use G&C from now on.

01/13/2021 Their work has only gotten better!.WOW.I drove 40mins to have my car seviced at G&C Chantilly.  I do most of my car repairs/maintenance, dont trust just any mechanic.  The drive was worth it.  I emailed Ryan 2 weeks before I brought the car in for road force balance/mount matching, alignment, and inspection.  I have never gotten a report like Ryan sent me and Chris put together.  So detailed, pictures, description of items, recommendations, work accomplished.  All details right to my phone.  They have an amazing online portal where you can see all the information they took about the car, it includes videos as well.  Chris did an amazing job. My car drives smooth and straight down road.  The level of service is top of the line.  I couldnt come get the car before they close so they provided me a pin code to their key atm outside.  Put the pin code as provided when I arrived that evening and the key atm drops my key like a soda machine after you put the combination.  Wow.  The level of communication Ryan has and work Chris performed left me so impressed.   I didnt even have to pay over the phone or anything, Ryan emailed the invoice link, I paid online like I would when I buy something off amazon, quick, easy, and secure.  And their prices are very competitive, I had a price in my mind, I was surprised that it was lower.  Lol.  The level of service, in person communication, and online communication portal they provide you with is the best in the industry.  You can not get service with them and tell me somebody else provided you better.  They also provide live chat, free loaner car, and much more.  I may sound like a paid advertisement but the word needs to get out.  Everyone deserves this kind of quality sevice.  Worth every dollar.******From 2 years ago*******I spent over $2000. Since September my new tires made the car vibrate. No one could fix it. I bought new wheels, Bilstein struts and shocks, wheel bearings, CV joints, ball joints, power steering pump, 7 times were my tires balanced, 3 times was the car aligned. Vibration would only get worst or back to the original level per every job. Couldnt drive past 55MPH too long without steering wheel and entire car numbing vibration, well, my daughter liked it, she would fall sleep as she got massaged. Lol. Until G&C did their mount match and forced wheel balance. My car drives like a new car, its so smooth on the highway at any speed. I cant believe Im driving on the same wheels and tires that for months no mechanics could figure out besides recommending new wheels and tires.....again. G&C gave me before and after road forced variation numbers and wow, what a difference. NTB, Mr. Tire, and 2 independent shops couldnt figure it out. Thank you to the guys at G&C. Their customer service is honest and straight to the point. I recommend this place to anyone like me tired of bad customer service and low quality work. Spend the money on quality tires next time. Your vehicle comfort and safety depends on it.

Great Service! I came in for my tires to be mounted and balanced during my lunch break. They noticed I needed my inspection and emissions done as well and offered to take care of everything for me. They shuttled me to and from work while they worked on my car. They also sent an email with pictures verifying what other work needed to be done on the car. Very friendly, very fast service.

My husband has been taking his car here for years. This is a great local business that does their job with excellence. They also provide a shuttle service when you drop off your car. In the past, the shuttle was occupied elsewhere so they called an Uber for us. Great service!

Came in for a safety emissions test, but it turned out I needed to do some repairs before I was able to pass. They detailed the issues that went on in my car and were extremely professional doing so. I would strongly recommend coming here for your safety and emissions test. They also have a spacious second floor lounge where you could do some work in the meantime. I had my car inspected a few days ago. Done in less time than expected, and very reasonable charges. Today I stopped by, hoping someone could help me put on a license plate. David Markell immediately volunteered his services and got the job done - no charge, of course. I really like these people! And I will recommend them.

I had my tires delivered to G&C to have them mount and balance them on 10/24/19. The process was seamless. I ended up waiting on site while they were servicing my vehicle. The venue was clean and I especially enjoyed the numerous options for types of waiting areas (I chose the Man Cave on the upper level. There was even a room that was kid friendly.There were plenty of refreshments and snacks. The staff was quite accommodating and the service was completed in a timely manner, cost was certainly reasonable too. I would definitely recommend G & C Tire and Auto Service to anyone!

I recently decided to go to G&C because I had a screw in my tire and I needed it patched. When I arrived I was greeted by a gentleman named Bill who was extremely friendly and ready to assist with my needs. Upon taking my information he showed me around the facility to the various waiting areas, and even the garage itself where he explained that the technician can show me how they would fix my tire and educate me on the process if I wanted (Awesome). Whats also great is that a few of the waiting areas have multiple computers that are available to use, and there are complimentary snacks, drinks, and coffee for customers.Back to the service part... The technician finished with my car very quickly, then Bill came to inform me that they removed the screw and it did not penetrate through the tire. Even better, I wasnt charged for them to remove the screw!!! Overall I had a wonderful experience here and will definitely return. Great job!

After stopping in to get a simple emissions test, I am already hooked on G&C. Unbelievably friendly and courteous staff (David Markell, Steven Gregg and all). Maybe thats influenced by an obvious service orientation with many on staff being military veterans or current service as firefighters, etc. Waiting area was so comfortable I did not want to leave. I will be back next month to get fluids flushed at considerably less cost than quoted by dealership and other local service shops. Give them a try! I never write reviews but had to write this one.

Outstanding place, great people, super polite and quick to get what you need done. They are definitely NOT lazy people. Walking in I discovered a very clean, organized environment with people waiting to help you out (no lines or waiting both times I walked in). When I came to turn in my car they gave me a short tour, they have a family room for the kids, a nice lobby as well as a man cave and woman cave (which is pretty awesome). They even drove me back to work, courtesy of the shop. I have to say, Ive never seen service like this before and I highly recommend!

G&C is a friendly, trustworthy place that does great work! I used to go somewhere else nearby, but after finding out Bill Smith work there and because of the service I’ve received, G&C is the new home for my cars. I needed an inspection and new rear brakes and rotors and was quoted a price. When I paid, the bill was less than quoted so I asked why. The answer was, “That’s just an estimate. We don’t charge that full amount if we finish for less.” A refreshing response! Another time I needed a new drivers side front wheel bearing. After it was replaced, the car still made noise so I brought it back. They then replaced the passenger side wheel bearing. The noise persisted and they figured out the first bearing was bad from the factory, so they replaced it again. In the end, I paid for 2 bearings, but only labor for one bearing replacement. Excellent value and customer service!

I picked G&C to work on my cars when I moved to the area originally because they were close and a small business. However, they have exceeded any expectation I have in a shop. From the first day when I met Gregg and spoke with him to Stephen and the rest of the staff. They have excellent customer service. They contact you and give you details about the repairs that are needed. They keep in contact with you if a part that was ordered gets delayed in delivery. They have even kept the damaged part just to show me.Having grown up around a service station I always drop my car off and tell them, “Get it done when you can.” I am shocked at the speed in which they call me to let me know it is done or what needs to be worked on. There prices are also very reasonable and definitely beat some of the chain auto shops in my opinion.They are the only shop in the area I will take my cars to.

I went to G & C because it was very close to my work and I needed an inspection done on my in-laws vehicle. So I am a first time customer. David was so kind through out my entire visit. David kept me up to date on everything that was going on with the car while it was in their care. When something came up we hadnt covered David just gave me a call and let me know whats going on and made sure I was up to date and approved of anything he needed to do. The vehicle ended up not being able to pass the inspection. As a first time client I was very impressed with the technology the shop has, they sent me a link on my cell phone where I could see all the notes from the inspection, and i was able to review those notes before David called me to verbally explain everything. I definitely havent received that much feedback when Ive gotten other cars inspected elsewhere. David explained everything and never seemed irritated by my many questions! I would definitely recommend this shop. Great experience, everyone was very friendly, helpful, and professional. David is the man, go see him!

G & C is the most trusted repair shop in the area, I recently had them evaluate my sons Jeep after he told me his brakes were soft right before going back to college. I just had routine maintenance done by the dealership only because I have an extended maintenance plan. Recently, Ryan even went to Auto Zone (because my battery died while in PA and thats where I bought a new one) to exchange my battery that was under warranty. Matthew checked my electrical systems and replaced the battery for only $25! The service is above par.

Fantastic customer service and good honest people that serviced my truck. Ryan was excellent with communication and quoted me the cost of all work up front and had my truck taken care of the same day. Zach was the technician who did an excellent job servicing my truck. I highly recommend G&C.

Never disappoints! Staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable. Most recently I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Beth. She explained each step to me and let me know what the technicians were doing and more importantly why they were doing it. I am told that the technician Caleb was the one to work on my car, and everything is running smoothly!

I called to ask about getting a full set of tires and Zach was an absolute professional and helped find me what I needed and helped keep it within my price range. Then this morning when I arrived he greeted me by name, took down my concerns, and even gave me a quick tour of the waiting areas. Simply one of the most competent, professional, trustworthy group of mechanics Ive dealt with in over 30 years living all over the country. I drive 45 minutes out of my way so that they service my vehicle.

Very honest guys there who wont sell you things you dont need. The waiting room upstairs with the recliners makes the time go by fast. They do great work at lower prices. Very friendly atmosphere. This is why I keep going back.

David was able to quickly get my car serviced, provided clear information about an issue with the car, and recommended must be addressed vs keep an eye out. They provide a detailed report including pictures which allows you to see just not hear how your car is doing

Best auto service shop in the area as far as Im concerned. Manager Bill Smith is a seasoned and top notch mechanic in his own right and makes sure his knowledge and professionalism is transferred to his subordinates. At the recommendation of a bunch of my co workers I took my truck up for its emissions inspection and the service definitely lived up to the hype. I was greeted as soon as i opened the door by the service writers and Greg! Joe the emissions tech took care of the test super fast and in no time I got a friendly phone call letting me know my truck was ready to go. Highly recommend G&C for any and all your automotive needs!

Dont know why, after I purchased a used car and it got towed for not being registered, I went to get car and G & C Tire was right there.Took car in to get inspections done and they tried charging me 4x more than the garage I had my work done at. That seems shifty. Maybe they use better equipment?! Not worth it

I began bringing my car to G & C after meeting one of the technicians who invited me to give them a try. Since then they have done all my service and advised me one occasion to take to the dealer for a major recall which saved me quite a bit of money. On Feb 14 it was time for my inspection and service. AJ Boylan did an excellent job!Their friendly staff and comfortable waiting area makes it a company I want to business with!

I started going to G&C two years ago and I’ll never go anywhere else. My favorite thing is that they explain everything that’s going on with your car in a simple way, and tell you which things should be priority and which things can wait a while to be addressed. I never feel like being taken advantage of or treated like a dumb woman who doesn’t know anything about cars (which I’ve experienced at quite a few other places).
