So my wife and I made an appointment to visit this Clayton Homes location on the first Saturday of the month of August. We are fairly new to the whole home buying so we wanted to see what all options we had. Now beforehand I made sure to look at the reviews and they seemed positive thats why this location was chosen. Our point of contact was Lora. She seemed nice over the phone and texts. During our meeting everything seemed to be going fine however once we got outside and she started to show us around thats were it went downhill. The presentation of the homes that she showed us felt very rushed. We were in and out and she hardly gave us time to look around and ask all the questionswe had. Even made smart remarks after one of our questions making it feel like our questions were stupid. She always asked if we were ready to sign the paper work and ready to buy in such a short time which was not very professional. I get it they are suppose to sale us a home but you cannot force it upon ones self. During our whole meeting she talked more about herself than us and how we felt with the homes which is odd I thought the customer is more important? She also asked us if we put in a good review we would automatically enter a raffle which I found funny. Not sure how many of these 5 star reviews are legitimate now seeing how our first experience here went. However I did like the hispanic decoration that weekend. The team did a great job with that! At the end of our quick meeting Lora told us that she was going to send out the paperwork of the Homes we visited but till this day I have yet to recieve anything via email or phone. So unfortunately my wife and I did not enjoy this first visit and we expected more from this location from what I read online. Just my 2 cents!

I want to say Thank you to Ms. Lora. I loved her very up lifting and amazing ora when I met her. She took the time to listen to my past and listen to what my plans are for me and my childrens future. She was very up front and truthful of how the process works and how it will go. Yall are very lucky and blessed to have such a caring, loving, compassionate women working for your company. I pray she blesses as many people as she can. I might not get the blessing I was looking for when she called me to remind me to go ahead and come in to sign for a home, but she blessed me by her presents and beautiful spirit and she gave me something better than a application or a home for me and my kids...... Looking to purchase a Mobile home for the first time. I cannot TELL you what Exceptional service we received from MANUEL at this location!! He made a very unfamiliar experience delightful...I came from a different location where the customer service was less than welcoming to say the least!! Thank goodness we went to this location, which is way accross town because I would have been turned off of the entire process altogether. There is alot to say for good CUSTOMER service people!! Thank you!!!

I just purchased a double wide from here. They are really friendly people. They walk you though the process and even try and help you out. I have no complaints. Lora was the person that took care of me through the whole process. Shes great! Super outgoing and helpful. Judy helped me too. Overall, everybody I interacted with in the office was great. I recommend this location.

Maria Casares was a very helpful woman and very accommodating - we didn’t have an appointment, but she managed to show us some homes and gave us very helpful information. She spoke Spanish, which is convenient for my parents, and informed us of the payments and a lot about the houses arrangement. I loved the fact we didn’t have an appointment and she showed us multiple houses and the designs were beautiful. The best part was how she explained everything in detail - something needed now a days. Definitely recommend this place and Maria as the woman to go to. She’s bilingual btw!!

We bought a home at the Channelview Clayton Homes site unseen and it was everything promised. We did get to view the home before we signed the paperwork but we paid our deposit and ordered the home without seeing this model. Our sales rep Lora Farley went above and beyond to show us videos, pictures, building spec’s and everything she could find before we ordered it. This was all during Covid 19 and we actually got our home in on time too. I would recommend this company and the Channelview site. This was a no hassle deal and they did everything they said they would do. We are so happy with our purchase.

I bought my mobile home from this location a few years ago and the experience was great. I worked with Bill and Fernando. I was able to find something in my price range and both Bill and Fernando really went above and beyond to help with whatever issues I was having and to satisfy my husband and Is issues.

Purchased a home and the experience was a disaster. We werent able to get into the home as fast as we thought. Obviously I was aware that there were other customers who were waiting on their homes too, but once the contractors did show up, they would start one job and leave it half done. We got tape and texture done and the people who did it, did a terrible job. They left so many bumps on the walls. The painters did horrible as well. They were so careless about their work because they left stains all over the floor. As for the customer service at this location, it is atrocious. Once you sign, they dont care about communicating with you about any concern. The contractors damaged my property and didnt want to respond neither did the manager. I took it upon myself to call corporate in Tennessee and I finally started to see some action. If anyone is in a similar situation I recommend contacting corporate. I spoke to a very kind gentleman who got my issue solved right away. He gave me his personal phone number and we have been in contact. I will be making one last call to share with him my entire experience which has been a nightmare. It is sad that someone in a completely different state shows more concern than the people who are closer. Unfortunately it is too late for me to go back in time. If I could, I would definitely never go to Clayton. Good luck to anyone who steps foot in this office. I do not recommend this place at all. With the exception of Leonard, the staff is not helpful. Read your contracts, double check everything. I have a feeling these people take advantage of their customers.

We purchased a small mobile home from this location after completely flooding out due to Hurricane Harvey. Tommy worked really hard to help us get in a home we could afford. The home was delivered and set up and all was well until the heat of summer came. The A/C installed wasnt large enough to keep the trailer cool and Fernando, the manager at Clayton Homes, worked with me and the factory to get the problem resolved. They are a great bunch of people over there and will go above and beyond to make things right for the customer. I appreciate all the efforts by the team.

I came in on a Saturday morning in July looking for a new home. I was referred by a friend who also purchased one. I had a budget set price. Claytons was my first stop. I worked with Mr. Tommy. That Saturday, I decided to then go look at 2 other locations in the Houston area and neither could beat the price and deal Mr Tommy had to offer me! If you are shopping for a new home PLEASE ask for Mr. Tommy and let them know you saw my review. He is an amazing guy, dedicated to his job, gives you feedback ASAP. But he is on top of his priorities! He explained to me everything. Thorough with the process. He recommended the top 2 creditors.When I moved to my area, a mobile home park, I had a few rough patches with management here. I was grateful for management to have helped me with the issues. Now on the other hand.... Unfortunately I cannot give 5 starts as Id hoped. There are some downfalls towards my move in and settling in. Nothing major with Claytons. I love my home. Absolutely do! But little nick-nacks need attention. My master bath needs the tacks placed so the shower vinyl stays in place. The glue dried out - possibly because it was during summer. The plumber never came back to fix the grass to cover the underground pipe in the backyard.NOTE TO BUYERS: It is the contractors responsibility to clean up. Take before and after pictures of the property. Being busy isnt an excuse to leave a job half way nor 3/4 done. My back yard is still undone.I have contacted Fernando head manager of this office and yet until this day nothing has been done. Plus my friend who I was referred by, was promised to get her $500 incentive. IT HAS NOT been received - this was 4 months ago and I have reminded management more than once. I cannot give 5 starts. 4.2 for the lack of the minor things I listed. But 10 ⭐ for Mr Tommy for being an awesome sales man.
