Byron helped me and he was AWESOME!! I wanted one thing he showed me a variety of them and explained what ones were best. Prices reasonable.
They have a lot of nifty things here indeed! I didnt think they would have things for artists but they do have a lot of nice pens in different colors that you can test out as well as graph paper and shape tracing thingies.
Brian was awesome to work with!! Printed and cut down multiple things for our wedding - invites, programs, place cards, etc. everything came out amazing and very affordable!!
Edited from previously 5 stars! I always print blueprints at this location and usually they do great. I get an email back saying its ready, folks are helpful and I enjoy doing business with them. Last couple of times - not so much. My prints werent ready after several hours and employees really could care less. Both times were in the evening when print managers were not there. Im keeping 3 stars until things improve and, if they dont - Ill take thousands of dollars worth of business else where.
My family had ordered some cards printed, and the cutting on them was baaad. The actual printing was off-centered, with a white bar running down the left side of one stack, but right side of the other. We had to manually cut and adjust them ourselves. +1 star for having it done in a rush, but the done job required a lot of effort on our part to salvage.
Went in the am to have some documents spiral bound. Surprised it took hours when I was the only one there. Was given an invoice that has a total but no breakdown of charges. Note it was like 4 times as much as last time. When I went to pick up the items and asked about getting a price breakdown the employee couldn’t show me a pricing breakdown or explain it clearly. He was rude and honestly could have cared less. I have never been treated so poorly.
Every time I come in to print something, I feel like I’m an inconvenience actually asking them to print it for me, even when no one else is in the store. They always try to direct me to the self print area which I’ve done once and it took FOREVER to get everything printed. It seems like print prices have gone up as well.
ZERO computer desks in stock. EVERYTHING is sold out. A complete waste of time
Overall, this was a positive experience. They were obviously a bit short-staffed. However, given the situation, I feel like I got all the help I asked for, when I was patient enough to wait my turn. The store is clean and well-organized.
Store is right on point with other stores and inventory. I didn’t find the staff to be as helpful or knowledgeable as they are in St. Louis Park or Ridgedale. When I went to pick up birthday invitations I felt like I was bothering them. They were very busy and didn’t seem to have enough staff on hand to help with customers. In a pinch I guess I would go there for printing and it may be a couple of office supplies but everything they have there can be found at target for less. Or even Amazon. They deliver.
Unfortunately staff is super unhelpful and unwilling to search for items... I had to look online and give them the product numbers.
This is the best service OfficeMax Ive been to in Minnesota. The print people always accommodate my pressed timeline. The managers are great and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended.
Nothing special; OfficeMax is OfficeMax. Great cashier customer service. Amazon is cheaper very typically and for a while (not sure anymore) they didnt price match to Amazon like Best Buy does, but they price match to Best Buy, and Best Buy pretty much mirrors Amazons prices nowadays, so if you know the cards to play, this place is alright.
Super friendly. I was in a time crunch and they went above and beyond to get my cards printed on time! Highly recommended.
Honestly the worst experience Ive had in any retail store. I went in the morning looking for a specific pen set. When I didnt see it on the shelf I asked an employee walking by if he could help me. He shrugged and walked back to the pens with me, looked at the shelf, glanced over his shoulder at the other shelf and proceeded to then flounder around, not even picking up anything to examine models or names. He didnt even LEAN IN to see if it was on the shelf. He did this until I, fed up, just said I would come back.I dont know if this gentleman was brand new and honestly didnt know how to help, or just didnt care. But I was very unsatisfied at his lack of interest. He didnt even ask me the name of the product, or offer to look and see if it was in stock. He did not ask me ONE question. This may not be every customers experience but if I am cordial and friendly toward someone the least they can do is be kind and at least smile in return, let alone try to help.
I have been her multiple occasions... Nothing but rude staff once you actually find someone to help or ask a question! I spend 30 minutes in here today and didnt see a single person there I walked to the front and back about 5-6 times until I gave up and just left... So irritated!
Thought I would post since the previous post was 3 years ago...The hours are posted online and in the doorway of the store.I shop here all the time and the staff here has always been helpful and they have everything that I need for my business. I even purchased my new Samsung Tablet there, RED!I am usually in a rush and often greeted soon after I walk in.
They had everything I needed a d the printing department was fabulous.
Great place to find things you really need for your office and things you dont
It cost $60 to fax medical documents for my leave of absence. Halfway through the facts the machine shut off and had to restart all over again. I dont have $60 to fax papers. It should be $0.10 a page at most. That is way overpriced and a scam. Telling everyone my experience and never going back again.
Clean store with a good selection of products. Sometimes it is hard to find knowledgeable associate to help with questions.
Tom was very helpful with my return item and produced a new one for me to take home. I would definitely recommend this store to my friends!!
Always helpful, but since the merger, the line of items has diminished.
Ok, they just didnt have what I was looking for.
Fairly good selection but poor customer service. The girl ringing us up was extremely unfriendly.
I had trouble getting help here -- even though the store was bare of customers. I encountered one employee on her phone who ignored me and one employee said he couldnt help me at the print desk because it wasnt his area. A manager-type finally assisted me. Coldly. The customer service is noticeably lacking at this location and after three bad experiences here, I thought Id write a review...
Ive had two very unpleasant experiences at this store in the last two days. One with a manager named Brad and another with someone working in the print area named Simon.Lets start with Brad. I brought an item to the cash register and when Ralph rang it up the sale price did not come up. Just then Brad walked past and Ralph held up the item to catch Brads attention. Brad clearly in a hurry and annoyed asked what and when Ralph stumbled with what he was trying to ask Brad became highly annoyed and stated what what just say it and then barked some commands about the cash register. Rather than get barked at again Ralph turned the display so Brad could see it and Brad stomped off to get the correct price without saying a word. I was stunned and Ralph was clearly embarrassed. What a lack of common courtesy and respect Brad showed to this employee and myself. The fact that Ralph is clearly in his mid 70s made it even more heartbreaking. Brad I can only hope that when you are that age some impatient little man such as yourself treats you with as much disdain and disrespect as you showed Ralph. Maybe then you will understand how out of line you were.Regarding Simon. I came in to ask what type of postcard style mailer was available as I had had such great success with some business cards I had printed there recently. Right of the bat Simon stated that he would need my artwork and he would have to send them out to be printed. I politely asked him if since I designed my business cards right there and they were printed while I waited was that an option and if so what was the price range? He very begrudgingly went to the computer and started to look at the web site. I then asked him if he was familiar with the pre made templates. He ignored the question and quickly went about filling in blanks and clicking on items. After about 30 seconds he said he would need to send them out. I again asked him if he was familiar with pre made templates that could be printed there and amazingly I had to prod him again to get him to confess that he was not familiar with the products available. I dont think Simon could have been any less helpful. He clearly was not interested in helping me. I thanked him for being so unhelpful and called him lazy and walked out.A store where the manager treats co-workers with such disrespect and employees are so unengaged is not my idea of helpful. I can always order these products online from other vendors or go to other retailers.
Typical OfficeMax/Office Depot. Typical selection. Typical friendly, helpful staff. Typical deals.
Pleasant store, friendly staff, usually have what Im looking for. Service at print center often slow
It is nice to walk in, to ask for assistance, and find an employee ready to help you. 👍
No hours posted online, had to use google search because store locator on their company website wouldnt work. Was waiting for them to open in their parking lot one morning and saw an employee spend 20 minutes destroying the trash. Literally smashing every tiny item with a steel mallet, and slashing the cushions on a leather desk-chair with a box-cutter. Responsible companies donate useable materials to non-profits and charity thrift shops, officemax pays employees to ruin things so they are 100% sure to go to waste. Want my business? Spend less time and effort making trash to kill the planet and more time making sure customers know when your store is open.
Always have supplies I need
Super neat and lots of things
Great prices on large prints.
Great prices for back to school
Staff is rude and doesnt respond well to customer concerns. More staff on hand would help.
Very dusty place. Bought a boxed item and there was a heavy layer of dust on the box and shelf the box was sitting on.
Staff very helpful & knowledgeable
Bought 3 ring binders and they let me use their 3 hole punch to punch a bunch of papers
Great team and managers!
Large collection. Well categorised
I went to Office Max on a Monday afternoon- there was approximately 5 people in the store. I had 10 party invitations that needed to be cut to size and the guy looked at me and said....Yeah- I cant get to that until Wednesday. Really? 10 pieces of paper? Thanks...
Quick and good service
Theyve been having pretty good customer service lately however their prices have been ringing up wrong and it takes a really long time to fix them.
Employees are rude and impolite and unhelpful but this place has everything youd ever need for an office.
Printing Services is Slow, Unhelpful, and leaves to help customers in line while in the middle of your print job
Everything you need for your office!
Just ok, seems light on products
Well how the times have changed, two years ago four starts, today maybe one.Staff not willing to help, walks the other direction when you start to approach them, no one out on the floor.Ill take my business elsewhere.
Standard, run-of-the-mill OfficeMax.
Had what I needed....
Ok
Be pertained to shop
Bit pricey
