I love this place. It has the perfect coffee house vibe. It is large, clean, and very comfortable. The drinks are amazing. The iced Chai tea latte (with coconut milk) is perfectly sublime. The staff is helpful, friendly, and really care. Whether you’re working or relaxing with friends, this is the place to be.

Love this place! Very cool little spot with Happy hour 2-5 weekdays. They have a stage with open mic and live music some nights.

We went here for the live music. There was a guy singing original material and playing guitar. He was pretty good, almost like he should been on a bigger stage. I guess that just shows what you can expect every night. The staff is very polite and the service is great. We got Italian sodas and they were great. Definitely a place you can relax and take it easy.

Brilliant setting. I had a delicious herbal tea... The barista made a mix of hibiscus and mint teas that is resoundingly delicious. At 730pm on a Thursday, it was perfect for a date and conversation.Music and open mic could add sound, check if you want it or not. Outside seating ok, but against a parking lot.

Great environment to relax and get some work done. It is also a great place for social meets. The owner and staff are amazing. The coffee is great I always get the cold brew.

Good atmosphere, good coffee, great local burritos. The people that work here are excellent and the service is stellar.Definitely bring headphones because I can get a bit noisy if there is a decent number of people. Besides that fantastic place to get some work done if you’re not into the cookie-cutter coffee shops.

Weve been here several times to listen to the great music: a diverse mix of artists, some original music, some covers -- each with their own style and vibe. Staff is friendly and the muffins and cookies are delicious. The only downside is...the coffee -- it is just not very good. Weve tried several times and it doesnt have much flavor, sort of old tasting, Im not sure exactly what the issue is there. They also have Italian sodas (which are great), so if you dont want sugar or bad coffee, you are out of luck finding something to drink here. Also, when I go to their website (where they publish the music schedule) it often gives me a warning about potentially dangerous site. Perhaps the security certificate is out of date? Please, Sozo, fix your website and buy better coffee!

Blown away!!! This place is AMAZING!!! Not only do they have awesome coffee, great food, staff that treats you like friends, and owners that really CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! They also Have live music, art work, and they give back to the local community!!! I accidentally found this place and have been back multiple times a week since. Love this place!!!

Love this place. Great chai latte, wonderful atmosphere, super friendly staff, access to board games and the like, clean bathroom, cute decor, etc. I could go on and on! Easily my favorite coffee shop.

Perfect place to gather with friends or just a quiet place for reading or computer work. My husband and I both enjoyed our Lavender Chai; husband had oat milk in his for first time and enjoyed it. Great place; visit and support! We both Highly Recommend!

What a great spot. Have been looking for a coffee house that feels this comfortable. Quality offerings, and great service. The quality of the coffee is not sacrificed in the pursuit of a great atmosphere. Wish it didnt take me so long to find this place. And wish I lived closer.

I came here Friday night, July 16, 2021–for a local artist’s small concert. The entry was free$ totally donation based performance. I like a coffee shop that hosts talent. I like a coffee shop that stays open late. Ironically, I didn’t even get a coffee Bc it gives me anxiety lol. But I really enjoyed my entire time there!!

Good cold brew. The ambiance is the difference. They have a great lounge area fun kids area, nice patio seating, and more!

Came here for the first time and I love it! Its relaxing and calm. The other guests are a pleasant crowd, conversations are low-volume, and others doing studies with gentle music in the background. Ask for your yummy coffee in a glass to save the environment :^)

This place is the best place in Uptown Chandler to grab a coffee and get some work done. When I’m on the pool route I’ll often stop in to get some paperwork done. Great staff. Make sure you try the Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte

I schedule almost all of my business meetings on the SE side at Sozo Coffee. #1 the have a kids room. Riancito, my 3 yr old son, goes with me everywhere and this makes it very convenient. #2 their vegan pastries are delicious! #3 it’s a locally owned business that has top notch staff and service. I’d recommend this place to anyone in the chandler area to use for business meetings.

I really enjoy coming here! Very cool vibe. LOTS of seating and outlets to plug in phone chargers and laptops. I especially love that they are so supportive of the music community. Some of my colleagues have held piano recitals here and others have performed in bands. My go to drink at any coffee shop is a Soy Chai Tea Latte. The one they make here is wonderful! SUPER creamy with a subtle amount of spice.

Tried this place as it was one of the top rated places in the area.I ordered an iced coffee/cold brew, in the 32 oz size. The coffee tasted watered down. I don’t know if it had been sitting too long/not very fresh or what it was, but I was not impressed.Also, the inside of this store is run down and needs to be redone.The staff however was very friendly in explaining the sizes and taking my order.

I’ve loved this place for years, the coffee is some of the best in the phx metro area, but just a heads up that they don’t require masks inside for employees or customers or enforce social distancing

Im here for Open Mic Night and it is so amazing! The performers are great and the vibe is so chill and welcoming.I got a mint green tea and I got to pick my tea leaves and well as watch them make my tea. They are super accommodating to dietary needs and everything is completely fresh. Love this place! Highly recommend!

Great music at Open Mic night!

Great setting and atmosphere. It feels cozy yet spacious. I like that they have a bar that you can sit on and chat with the baristas. They have a private room and a playroom for the little kids. Its great. I only gave it 4 stars because the coffee itself isnt great. Every time I try it is the same if not worse. Also there is only one bathroom that in desperate of some updates. Otherwise is a really worth hanging out there. I believe you can use their fully equipped stage with some fees. I want to mention the owner is their always and very pleasant to chat with.

We went to go see a young singer Lauren Case and had a good time. We had comfy seats, the sound system was great and a good cup of chai. If they had another singer performing Id drive out there again. Totally worth going to see a show.

The staff is nice and its a great open place to study, do work, or meet up. I like the music they play as well. Spaces to charge your phone or laptop & plenty of coffe, drink, and pastries.

Awesome place, from now on my go to coffee shop...love the local feel. Have free live music on weekends, an awesome menu with food available and delicious seasonal drinks. Have all of the favorites as well. Will start coming here on a daily to get my caffeine fix!

Place was very cool in high school but I have since learned the owners care more about theyre wallets than people dying of Covid. Just find another coffee shop, nothing here is worth coming, and you know the clientele they will have anyways.

Stopped by late Friday night 1/29 and neither employees behind the counter were wearing masks. Very unfortunate to see. I chose not to order anything after this.Edit for response: This was around 9:00PM and there were many customers at the time including a few at the countertop where the maskless employees were. Furthermore, they were not closing as they asked what we would like to order before we turned around and left for our safety. It would be nice to hear that this issue is being taken care of rather than hearing excuses. In this time were doing as much as we can to support local business but this becomes harder when employees/businesses do not respect our health/safety.

Coffee is great. They have all kinds. The atmosphere is wonderful. There are many comfy couches or tables to work at. Also, everyone who works here is very friendly.

I love the vibe of this place and the guy who helped me was super friendly and helpful. I have tried two different teas there and both times they have been a little strong and bitter. Cant speak to the coffee as I dont drink it. Its a nice local place though to have a meeting.

I didnt try the coffee today but the preaching was great! Thanks Missio Dei! One of these days Ill try a fancy coffee and let you know. Ive heard rave reviews.

What a great place! They are located next to the largest candy store I think I have ever seen. The coffee is great, and the friendly staff are even better. The prices are very affordable, which in my book, drives up their quality. There is a stage off to the side that is filled with drums, mics on stands, floor monitors etc. The live shows must be pretty good. They didnt skimp on the equipment. You can tell someone has a background in music. I would love to catch a show one day. My favorite part of this place was how wide open with PLENTY of seating. Im talking sofas.....really comfortable seating. I was drinking coffee and studying, and I didnt want to leave because it was so comfortable.

This place is chill. It’s open mic night tonight and the staff are way chill! I came to work on my thesis paper and they where happy to have me here. I like it and I’ll be back!

What a nice place. Very chill and relaxing inside. My latte was delicious. Im so happy they had so many vegan options. Also! They have a whole play area for kids! What a wonderful surprise. I love places that dont exclude children. Definitely will be going back.

I love SoZo! I come here all the time! Its got a classic coffee house give with lots of couches, art by local artists, pastries from local bakeries, and delicious custom lattes and other drinks that you cant get anywhere else! I recommend the dirty chai. And the brisket breakfast burrito! You can hang out here ALL day and just chill, love it.

Such a great place to get drinks and snacks. The atmosphere here is so welcoming and has an awesome unique vibe to it. You are always greeted when entering and I love this. There is plenty of tables and plugs available and even some comfy seating. They have an amazing play area where kids have plenty of toys and space for parents to hang out, relax, and chat and even get work done as well. It is in,the back and away from others so you dont have to worry about your kids being distracting.They also have lot of events happening. It is a great space for the community, so much more than a coffee shop.

Sozo Coffeehouse has been my home away from home for about 6 years now. Always gracious and kind, each barista there has been fantastic. The vibe there is amazing. I love the wide variety of coffee and tea choices and the friendliness of the staff here. They also have a good selection of games and frequent community events in the evenings. What a great local coffee shop! We would be there more often if we lived closer, but we always drop in when were close by!

Great coffee, good vibes, phenomenal and knowledgeable staff. Been there several times for performances ranging from friends of mine playing their music to slam poetry style sets. They also have a great open Mic night. They have a much better sound system then most coffee shops and the rooms acoustics are stellar!

Atmospheare is nice. I had a regular coffee, medium roast. It was made as a pour over. Good tasting but a little on the weak side. Cost was $3.24 with tax. I think it is a good coffee shop. I probably wont go there again though. Partly due to it is a little out of my was compared to other coffee shops I go to.

An excellent coffee shop with everything you would expect plus some. The lighting is perfect and the coffee is excellent quality. It is always clean and usually busy. The biggest perk is the large children’s playroom in the back. Meet some friends, drink some coffee, and let the kids play. A single bathroom is a bit of a bummer, but manageable. The staff is friendly and the baked goods are wonderful. They have any type of sugar or substitute you could want.

Only been here a few times but I love it already. I’m coming back tonight! Great atmosphere, amazingly friendly employees that are genuinely nice to be around. Every Friday they have live music that is performed by amazing local musicians. I don’t know why I haven’t come here before!

Ive tutored here a few times - pretty nice environment for it. One time I happened to go when a jazz pianist was playing. Everything is decently priced and delicious!

I love this coffee house. It is so hard to find places like this anymore. The coffee is great, but the atmosphere is so nice. They have comfortable couches to chill and chat if you want. I like to go there and do work on my computer. This place is great! Its seriously my little hideaway from life.

Absolutely love 😍 the ambiance of SoZo coffeehouse. The room is big and it is filled with very comfortable couches surrounding the stage. There are also some chairs and tables around the perimeter in case someone prefers to be less comfy. I specially love that they have Turkish coffee ☕ and it was delicious 😋. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The walls are decorated with unique art. If you like supporting local businesses that also support the community and stand for a cause then this is a place to visit. As for me, I take the local coffee house with their delicious coffee over any franchise coffee place any day and I will continue to visit this place.

Went there to see the group RCC live. It was amazing. Had tea and sweets, the service was amazing, people were nice go check this place out!
