I was at B&N because it’s a shortcut to a store I was heading to at the mall, but I got stalled because of their jigsaw puzzle inventory!!! O.M.G! I’m a jigsaw puzzle enthusiast, so my jaw totally dropped when I saw what B&N are selling. I literally had to control myself to not break my wallet lollll.

I decided that rather than order a particular book on Amazon, I would buy local. My wife, my 4 year old granddaughter, and I struck out for this local B&N to find a book and possibly sip a coffee. With the book and coffee in hand we sat in the coffee shop to enjoy one simple pleasure. My wife bought a candle and set it on the table because she didn’t think it safe in the bag of books. We sat and sipped enjoying our time. One small important phone call later, we are set to quickly grab our things, our sleepy granddaughter and head out. It was closing time anyway, and we needed to address the situation of the phone call. Upon arriving at home my wife realized we forgot to grab the candle. She called the store and the person on the other end told her she didn’t have time to check the table. She told my wife to check the store in the morning. I drove over at opening time and no one had seen it. No one in the coffee shop, not behind the store register, nor customer service. Makes me feel like I should have gone with my first idea. I would have saved $8 on the book, and if had bought a candle and didn’t receive it, Amazon would have replaced or refunded the cost.

Dudes. Barnes & Noble. BARNES AND FREAKING NOBLE. I was so excited to see one (they are extinct where I live). Then I walked into their bathroom, and it was like a portal to the most neglected roadside rest area you can imagine. If youre going to have public restrooms, CLEAN EM!!

Always love Barnes and Noble, however, at this location, the cashier is incredibly rude and does not have the manner associated with being in customer service. Do better.

I love this bookstore! Its has a very large variety of books as well as other items.

Very nice Barnes & Noble location. Clean, spacious and has an in-store cafe that welcomes you with some tasty, warm scents as you enter the store. Beyond books, they actually have a huge board game section with some nice, harder to find selections, as well as some other collectible items and toys. Pretty cool “deals” section too.

Everything was clean and organized very well. The store had a lot of people in it, but their layout allows for a fair experience even when crowded. Lots of open U shaped shelving areas vs isles. Tho the isles they do have are very narrow! I was looking for budget planners and an employee was able to direct me very quickly. Overall a great experience, but some narrow isles had a few people waiting around to go through and browse. Check out was quick and easy, they kept the line moving quickly, but were also very nice to customers.

I always love Barnes & Noble stores. This one is no exception. Tons of fun to walk around and find something new.

Great place to shop, staff is friendly and helpful in assisting you find a book, product, etc that you are looking for. Nice expansion of collectibles (model kits, action figures, statues) as well as table top games.Only reason a four star is lately, they have only had one side of their registers open. They have one located near an entrance from outside and another located near the entrance going into the mall, the one located near the entrance into the mall has been closed. Probably COVID related, itll probably be opened again soon enough to make shopping more convenient.

I love books!!!!! It got 3 books with series and they had the villainous book for fairy tales. I love it here and the membership is easy to get and not to pricey.

Book stores are obsolete and are endangered but it was great to see not all have gone the way of the dinosaur, Starbucks inside was still open so we got coffee and walked around and reminist about when we were just dating before we were married and before we had a 3 year old in tow, place is neat and tidy and the best part no one ever asked if we needed help !

Great location & great stuff that this store had. I love it the atomshpere. But the book I was looking for was not there.

The very lovely experience the atmosphere was very nice and the people I talked to were very helpful I got all the books I wanted and the manga section have the books I was looking for and they were able to help me when I couldnt find the one I needed

Stopped in because my Samsung 10.1 inch tablet wouldnt charge. Pamela was great 👍She checked older chargers for one that might help. Unfortunately, my tablet is too old. James, another employee; was also helpful. I appreciate warm, professional people!

Awesome large Barnes and noble. They have a great manga section, which is mostly what I go for. Fairly up to date with new stuff and some sold out stuff can be found here as well

We have always used Barnes & Noble Booksellers as our entrance into the Chandler Mall. It is a very clean store. There is a kids section and they usually have tables of discounted items. They also sell games, puzzles, and collectibles.

Very nice and clean book store. The staff seemed friendly and willing to help. The place is rather large, so you could spend hours in there finding pleanty of things to read. Not all barns and nobles are as nice, so I highly recommended this barns and noble.

Good starbucks and i was 4 pennys short and the waitress paid it out of her pocket wide selection of books of all kinds too

I’ve been coming here for more than a decade and this last trip I was shocked to find that it’s almost quarter toy store at this point.I guess you got to do what you need to survive against Amazon, which I appreciate.I love being able to walk into a book shop

I havent seen or been in a Barnes and Noble for at least 4 years until recently.My goodness, the smell of books, magazines and coffee is a momentary escape, almost a taste of pre 9/11 America. Like eating Quiznos subs at a Pier One import.

We always enjoyed going there as my husband is handicapped and could sit and read while I looked around. No chairs or sofas so we had to leave without buying anything. Very disappointed.

Nice book store. Quiet and clean/organized. The mall is right next to it if you feel like walking and shopping after a read.

I came here with my wife to buy the walking dead comics. We actually sat down and read random books for a good hour. Simply one of the best Barnes and nobles I’ve ever been to despite it being extremely busy. I could never recreate my experience here at any other Barnes and nobles.

Excellent place specially for kids to go and explore world of books and adventures. I love books and exploring new reads or based on your hobbies and interests is a good way to start. This place has it all. Classics, contemporary to new releases you get them all. Another aspect is you can browse the availability and shipping to you home.

I was so glad to see there was still a BN open when I found it in the Chandler Mall. It was spacious, clean and had so many great selections. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Customer service was great. Helped me find the book section I was looking for. Very peaceful here. I will be a frequent visitor now I know I can get coffee and read.

Been over a yr, they thinned out a lot of the displays for covid. bathrooms are closed. would suggest ship to store for pick up to save on shipping costs.

Loved this place so much. It was such a fun place to bring my kids until the other day 45-50 mins before they closed a lady working told my daughter who was looking through there different slime colors and the Lady had the audacity to tell my daughter she can look at stuff but to make sure she puts it back in the right spot then proceeded to stand next to my daughter and fix everything right after she would touch something definitely not 6 away. Ive worked in managed in retails for years and I know what its like to have to face everything and put stuff away but thats part of the job by no means do you ever tell anybody not to touch something because you dont want to put it away especially someone else is little girl.

We were asked on the floor if we needed help finding a specific book. This never happens at the Santan location. Kudos to the staff member, James, I think was his name! Friendly people all around.

I just love coming here! I love the smell of books and fresh coffee brewing. I always have to stop at the Starbucks inside the store, get a drink and relax and read one of the five books Ive bought.

It was crowded, being part of the mall, and I didnt spend much time here because I wasnt comfortable being near all the people in a pandemic. Other than that, it is a bookstore, and clean, so I will go back when its safe!

Tons of books, games and toys for little ones.This location is upstairs at Chandler Mall and can get super busy during weekends, holidays and the Christmas season. There is lots of parking but it will fill up fast.They carry tons of books and have probably the biggest selection of Magna you can find. Usually, if they dont have it they will ship it to you for free.This store hosts frequent events so its not a great location for quiet meandering while browsing. But, if you have small kids they do story time three times a week and usually have special events every month. We attended a Lego Frozen 2 event and a Gundam event in the last two months.There is a cafe at this Barnes & Noble with all the same food as other locations. They serve some of Starbucks drinks but dont take the app or cards.If you want a bookstore with high energy, knowledge staff and something to do, the Chandler one is a great choice.

Usually LOVE Barnes & Noble but the last time we were in the cashier was very rude - felt like we were BOTHERING her by checking out .....For the most part the store is always well kept and we enjoy our shopping experience - Especially the cafe after shopping.Loss of 1 star is because of the cashier with the personality of a wet dish rag ......a smile might help!

Items were stocked well & organized to where you can find them. You can order online and pick up in store if need be, coffee shop smelled delicious, bathrooms were dirty & busy, place was a bit busy overall, customer service was so so they seemed off put by me purchasing 1 item but I came in to find a nice mens planner for my husband for work and was able to find him one so I am content! He absolutely loves it. He got the red one :)
