Friendly efficient staff dealt with a mad rush at 5:00 with aplomb, despite having only one computer that was working. Alas, the one actually dealing with the most customers left her mask below her mouth most of the time, kept scratching her nose, and only ever brought the mask up to just under her nose. The other employee had hers down at her chin as well, but did put it up as the room began to fill.(5:15 9/39/21)

Cant seem to understand simple instructions like how many copies to print and then had the nerve to charge me a $2 fee for printing when it wasnt even printed when I got there. Stay far away if youre in a hurry or a time table. Worthless customer service too.

Completely rude and lazy. Customer service does not exist at this branch. I would rather drive on north prospect at lunchtime on a Saturday then go to this more convenient location. The people who work here couldn’t care less about your needs. One star is way too high of a rating. I’d like to give it negative stars

I put in a print order online that was very time consuming and expensive. They told me the system wasn’t working, so I had to then resend the order via email. This all took over 3 hours of my day. When I got to the store they were missing half of my order and ran out of cardstock. Then the employee helping me tried to tell me that I didn’t make my order correctly ( she was mistaken). In the end, after spending 5 hours of my day off working on this, I did not get my prints and have to wait 3 days to ask the manager for a refund. —this is the second time this has happened unfortunately.

Very rude employees tried to discriminate against me due to my disability. One employee refused to serve me and the other only begrudgingly allowed me to simply drop off my package, all while verbally berating me. Next time I will ship my items with a company that has more robust anti-discrimination policies and trains their staff to be non- discriminatory.

CED is the best! He always has a smile and is the most helpful. The UPS store on Kirby is the only location I will go to! They always take fantastic care of me and go above and beyond helping me with printing, selection of correct envelopes, and more. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location! They will even print your return labels, no need to print them yourself.

Would give negative stars if possible. Worse service I have ever experienced! Gentleman ( for a lack of a better term) behind counter was rude from the minute I walked in. Complained about how busy they were ( only one other person in the store with me) as if we couldn’t here. Never greeted me, instead rudely told me I had laid my box in the wrong spot and proceeded to just stare at me till I told him what I wanted. He then was upset because I had not printed out a form he said I needed, which I never had to do before. When I asked why I had to this time he proceeded to raise is voice at me, shake a form of some sort in my face and tell me I was wrong. After he raised his voice at me I told him he was being very rude and was informed I could leave. As the manager approached I tried to explain that he had been rude from the second I walked in and the only response I got was a head shake and a wave towards the exit. I informed them I have never seen such poor service in my life! I will NEVER use this place again!!

I went in around 5:45pm to drop off my daughters college books to return. There were 3 people in the store still taping up their packages. I went to the counter where there was no one being helped. Just needed to set my package down and leave, no receipt needed. They told me to go stand in line, I explained as was going to the back, I was not trying to get in front of anyone I thought they were finishing their packaging. She asked me why I thought people were standing in line. She was very short and rude, so I asked her name. She said “nothing” and I am not giving you my name. I said I would go to the other UPS store in town and she said “good” and “don’t come back”. I do not need to give them anymore business but thought others might like a heads up on the rudeness you may encounter with “nothing”.

There are 2 UPS stores in the area, use the other one. I waited at the counter for a few minutes before even being acknowledged (employee could see me, just didnt acknowledge) and was rude when she finally did come over. The other store is lightning fast and very friendly. Apparently UPS stores are independently owned so please patronize the other one... Not this one.

The lady is very kind. The African American guy is hard to work with. He refused to provide the small battery sticker for my pre-paid Amazon return package and asked me to go home or use their printer to print the label at my own cost. Ive been to this store several times before this guy came and the previous staffs are nice. This guy is a nightmare. He literally brings me problem every single time Im shipping a package at this store. I ended up going to the other UPS store or the UPS dispatch center in Urbana. You know how hard it is to work with this guy that even I, a person who rarely writes google map reviews and have given him several chances to serve customers properly, is writing a review to bring justice to my terrible experience here.

Never going back in the store. No where to park do to other stores. I go in and ask for use of a dolly. Was told that is for employee use only so I have to carry 12 heavy boxes across parking lot. Great customer service, NOT!!! I will be taking my business account and business to a place that actually wants customers.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Walked in to get multiple packages shipped 11 total, brought 4 in at first and the clerk who’s name is Ced, grabs each package and throws it on the ground. Mind you, inside these boxes are fragile items. I request for each tracking printed separately for bookkeeping purposes, to which every employee in the store rudely explains that they can’t print each individually. I stood my ground knowing that I can very well have receipts printed individually, as I’ve shipped thousands of packages in my time. They didn’t want to print my receipts individually which was whatever. He then proceeds to throw each package on the ground and hands me my receipt. He makes a remark out loud that I snatched the receipt and laughs at me along with his female coworker clerk at the front desk. These workers have terrible customer service, especially the male who’s usually working at the front desk (Ced). His behavior is very arrogant, he forgets he’s working a near minimum wage job. Along with others, I will no longer patronize this store and will be using the other UPS at Marketview. They have excellent service and don’t treat you badly. It’s unfortunate this store has terrible workers because the manager is very kind.

Not the friendliest group at this store. In fact, they really seem like it is a bother to use their service at all. Brought in two Amazon returns to today and was told that I had to take them out of the original box? This is different than every other Amazon I have done at this store or anywhere. One of the items was leather boots and they were just thrown in a bag for the return. If they get scuffed in the return, that is on you UPS! I only will return to this store bc it is so close to my house, otherwise, nope.Update: Been in a few times since I left this review with much friendlier service. It seems to be a toss up on who you get to work with.

Went in at this store at 8am, 3/27/19.My first experience returning to Amazon with prepaid label. She printed label and was very efficient and explained things to me.Young woman who helped me was very helpful, walked me through it bc I wasnt sure what to do. In and out in less than 10 minutes.

I read of a few of the negative reviews regarding this place so I was a bit reluctant...but went anyway and had a GREAT experience! Raven was there to serve me... and very proficiently and professionally handle a complicated shipping situation for me, all with a smile and pleasant conversation. I would say that most experiences really depend on the individual, and Raven sold me on this UPS Store, thanks Raven!

Had an Amazon return, didnt have my outer label fully affixed or package taped shut but a very friendly associate told me they would take care of it for me when I asked to borrow tape. Great experience with very efficient and friendly staff on January 5, 2019!

There are unfortunately some employees here who get off being rude, bossy, and short to customers. I dont know if they arent getting paid enough or just hate their job, but whatever it is, the negative attitude shows. These negative interactions are awful and inspired me to write a review. A little customer service training could go a long way. I shouldnt have to drop off a package and be spoken to like a child who doesnt follow directions. Its an extremely unpleasant experience.

In the summer of 2017 I had this store pack at least ten separate shipments (eBay sales of audio gear). Four of the items packed by them were damaged in shipping in a two week period. As of today, 10/05/17 they havent refunded me one penny of my packing costs and UPS has denied one of the claims. I made the mistake of shipping a $4,000 acoustic guitar through them. UPS packed and shipped the item, damaged the item and refused to pay for the full repair - even though I paid for $2,000 of insurance - they paid $1,000.The store manager (Denise G.) is rude and hung up on me when I called to discuss it. Shes unpleasant and unprofessional. The supervisor and owner (Scott/Andrew) refuse to engage with the customers. I asked that they call me - but they have no spine and hid in silence... for seven weeks. NOT. ONE. CALL.I filed a claim with UPS Corporate and The UPS Store headquarters and a claim with the Better Business Bureau.Take your items ANYWHERE else in a 10 mile radius to be packed/shipped. This UPS Store is a fraud.

I agree with one of the past reviews that the customer service is not only rude, but short. They acted like they were doing me a service. I will head to UPS in northern Champaign or USPS before returning to the UPS on Mattis.

Older racist lady in there lied and told me my package never came and to check with the post office. I did they showed me the scan label that it was delivered there I normally pay when I pick up my parcel so I called again the same lady told me “I remember someone black picking it up” then to ultimately say in person when I returned that she sent it bck the previous day bc I didn’t have a box there. I’ve had several packages delivered here with no problems I pay and pick it up when I know I have to work and don’t want to leave it outside all day or it’s too big for my PO Box never again

Below one star. Worst problem Ive ever had with them? Sent some packages for Christmas ahead of my visit out of town - I was told that they were packed and ready to go at the counter. When I got to my destination several states away they didnt show up...and didnt show up.I called and was told that they were being held for improper packing (an extra label on the box?). When I confronted them with being misinformed by their staff they just blew it off. I was forced to pay them to repack it and send it.Never again. Im going to go the the UPS central office (run by UPS, not a contractor) on Lincoln Ave. At least theyre competent.Anyone whos left a good review for this place must be working for them.

I emailed this ups store 2 hrs before closing time to have some items printed. After waiting over an hr to get a reply whether the documents could be printed i decided to call. I spoke with a rep who told me that they were short staff and she was not sure if the items can be printed on that day. knowing the urgency of the documents I left my house and went to the store to print the items myself. while printing the document the same girl i spoke with on the phone insist that the store is close and i have to stop printing. I was very much irated because I was already in the store before closing, and now being turned away. She insisted that I leave. With this type of behavour you people wont only Not have workers but no customers. You can take the printed material and shove it where the sun doesnt shine you racist fat PIG. You need to find your way to a gym everyday. I would advise no one to go to this store. A customer is a customer, if you treat one like that you will treat all like that.

First time in here, totally shocked by employee behavior (rude, indifferent, treated me as if he was doing me a favor and that I was bothering him) and wondered if maybe I was misinterpreting something—but, nope, have a look at the other reviews on here. Toxic business, with a pattern of behavior by multiple employees. Stay away, apparently. They do not want you in their store!

Wow. I dont understand the negative reviews -- but most of the problems seem to originate with the person making the comments, not this particular UPS store. I use this store frequently and have never had a problem. KKMan - What is wrong with you? How long did you expect the store to say open for you? And how fast are they supposed to respond to your e-mail? Do you think there is someone just waiting at a computer for your message? If you are in such a hurry, go print the document yourself to begin with. And what is with the nasty, sexist, weight-shaming comments? And then Ahsan. Why dont you print the return label yourself at home? Why should they do it for free?

BEST experience at the old farm shops UPS store today! They open at 8am, the door was unlocked at 757am, the clerk was ready, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I think her name was Denise? She got me in, out and on my way by 8am!! Whaaaaat!? So wonderful cuz Im trying to get BK home to enjoy steamy, creamy espresso and relax before work lol! Thank YOU Denise!!!!! 😁

BUYER BEWARE!!! CON ARTISTS!!UPS official website quoted my shipping costs at approx. $50 but when I went to this store they tried to charge me $170!!I told them this was absolutely unacceptable and started to walk away when the man said Wait! and with a few clicks on the computer MAGICALLY reduced the cost for the exact same service down to $60.Also... heads up to supplies cost... they charge $13 for a single medium sized box! $13 at menards could buy you a pallet of boxes!Stay away!
