I do not recommend purchasing phones from Verizon here, apparently they have cases to sell but can’t sell them because the computer has them on hold, went there 2 days in a row, same story. so you buy a $1700 phone and have no way to protect it and they cannot override! Then they advise me to shop at another retailer to buy my accessories, what kind of business sends customers to a competitor to buy items that they sell on the regular ridiculous. This is what you get with computers and corporations! Humans can’t sell the items on hand cause the computer says so. I’m returning the phone and going with a different Carrier.

Tony gave of an overview of what was available to upgrade phones for 3 of our family members. The phones we wanted were not on hand, but he was able to arrange 2 day deliver. He gave us options, showed us the difference between programs, and ran the numbers, giving us an idea of how to proceed. Then we got new accessories, getting enough to qualify for a discount on them. Overall, it was a great experience, and all in less time than I had allocated. Good job Tony!

It was terrible. They never have enough workers in the store anymore and the wait time is miserable. I waited about an hour in the store, then left. They texted me a half hour later saying they were ready to wait on me. Nobody should have to wait an hour and a half in line in the store like this. My previous visit a week ago I had to wait 45 minutes. Still not good. I will go to another provider for what I was looking for now.

Wish I could give zero stars. Came into the store 3 times - each time describing that I wanted to discuss the cost of a line to my plan BEFORE buying a new iPhone for my daughter. Twice the wait was so long I had to leave. Finally able to get an appointment on the third try - still waited, of course - but AFTER ASSURING ME MULTIPLE TIMES THAT I WOULD BE ABLE TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL LINE AT THE SAME PRICE THAT MY CURRENT LINES ARE - they sold the newest iPhone AND THEN INVESTIGATED AND SAID THAT THEY COULD NOT ADD THE LINE AT THAT PRICE. The manager Kevin was especially rude, obstructive and creatively dismissive with more and more exorbitant excuses as we progressed down this path. It was clear that this was complete bait and switch. He was not remotely interested in helping me after they sold an almost $900 iPhone to my poor teenager. Which could not be cancelled or changed, of course. An hour and half of my life wasted, and $900 down the tubes. I DESPISE BEING LIED TO.If your teenagers interested in an iPhone 12, dont go to this store!! Consider buying directly from Apple, and then get the prepaid plan from AT&T. Currently no activation fee, $300 for the year. I have no love for that corporation, but its definitely cheaper than having your plan screwed with (AGAIN) and having to deal with fighting customer service (THE BIGGEST OXYMORON) for days.

Ordered a portable hotspot online paid for it and set up for curbside pickup. After 2 1/2 hrs of sitting in the store i finally got my order. After being ignored in store and then being made to call customer service from in the store and wait 25min on hold. Finally got great help over the phone. Wouldnt recommend this store.

I just wanted to take the time to recognize Rebecca for the outstanding customer service she provided my husband and myself. We were having issues with our bill and noticed that for the last 10 months our 20% monthly access fee discount was missing. After hours of back and forth emailing, chatting, and phone calls we got nowhere. Essentially we were told to go into the store and have them take care of it. Rebecca was cheery, inviting, and just a delight from the moment we walked through the door. She quickly checked us in, notified us of our wait time, and even started working on our issue when she wasnt busy with another customer. We were shocked to find out she was from the Decatur store and there to fill in for help. She was personable, relatable, and just so down to earth. Now we have had some pretty terrible experiences in the past at this store here in Champaign but she has renewed our faith in the company. We had plans to switch providers due to all of the stress and unprofessionalism we experienced in the past. But with someone like Rebecca working for Verizon we have decided to stay. She even gave us her personal cell phone number and told us to text or visit her at the Decatur store should we have any other need of her assistance! Thats what I call dedication and excellence in customer service! Fantastic job Rebecca! We plan to see you soon for all of our future needs and will recommend friends and family seek you out and do the same!

Less than a desirable experience unreal I will always use the website in the future. I understand it was Black Friday but over a 2 hour wait. Gave us the phone, case, screen protector and a sheet of instructions. Glad Im tech savvy its not hard but the screen protector does not work with the case why your not selling liquid screen protectors is a mystery. Verizon has a very clean and modern looking store. The employees seriously know what theyre talking about, they honestly known everything about Verizons services and all of the phones they offer. The only problem is waiting for your turn, but its not their fault, from what I could hear it was just that the customers ask a lot of dumb questions and it takes them awhile. Not all Verizon stores are created equal! From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the manager Nicole, she solved my problem and made great recommendations. I was promptly given over to Damien who helped me tremendously, I had a new phone and was able to transfer data. Katie finished up, everyone was willing to take time, very professional, I recommend this store, and this store only when youre in Champaign Illinois.

Went to the store to purchase two new phones and was very impressed by the representative that helped us, Miles. He was with us for over 2 hours and was knowledgeable about all questions we had, wasnt pushy at all but gave us different options/alternatives to better help us, and stayed calm throughout the process. We switched from Sprint to Verizon and it was a great welcoming visit.

My boyfriend went to this store Monday to get his phone replaced because the charging port was loose after buying it at another store just a few months ago. They replaced the phone and he was getting it ready to send it out. However the phone has a liquid screen protector on it. We went into the store tonight to see if we could get the screen protector replaced and the sale reps did not believe that there was a liquid screen protector on it. It was very unprofessional. We even suggested looking up the history of our account to see what we purchased and they refused. Monday I thought it was a great store and now I never want to go back.

This store is horrible. I wish I could have given it a rating of NO stars, but 1 star was as low as I could go. All the negative reviews about this store are warranted. I went to this store to buy a new phone and received the worst service imaginable, including bad attitudes from the employees. Always get the best service at this Prospect location. Travis was very helpful, got me a new phone that I wanted, set it up for me, showed me features, applied my screen protector, answered calmly and professionally. I ran back in 2 hrs later and he answered more questions. Travis was awesome, but all employees seemed knowledgeable, polite, and patient. This is always a very busy location so sometimes there may be waiting times. This site has a large variety of products on display and in stock.

We reported a phone on our plan as lost, so the service was temporarily turned off. After recovering the phone, we made 3 separate trips to this Verizon store (waiting 40+ min one time) only to have the service repeatedly turned back off for some reason.I called the store yesterday and the guy I spoke with kept trying to get off the phone with me/referring me to the 800 number. Such low-effort customer service. I went in to the store because sometimes its easier to fix tech-support issues in person. They turned the service on (again), but somehow it was switched back off again this morning.At the store I mentioned it was the 3rd time Id been in for this issue and they blew it off/clearly didnt resolve what was causing the phone to keep showing up as lost. God forbid *they* call the 800 number to help me actually solve my problem. Ultimately, I called Verizon directly and I think its finally fixed. The customer service at this location is weak.

Went in to Verizon for a simple change of plan. This is the first time Ive done this with Verizon and I believe it went rather well. My old company I was with would of taken hours to do what I needed, but I was in and out in under 15 minutes. I definitely recommend coming to the Verizon store for any technical matters with your phones.

Excellent service from Ike. I was waiting for the doors to open very dissatisfied in line with my new Galaxy 9 phone. Once inside I was greeted immediately by Ike, and everything changed. He asked me what problems I was having. He is a great listener, and immediately took steps to correct the problems. Within 15 minutes I changed from a very dissatisfied customer to completely satisfied. Before I left he made some product recommendations. I bought a lifetime screen protector and love it. I really appreciated how low key, and no pressure he was. If you go to Verizon ask for Ike. Great service.

The lines have gotten absolutely nuts here. I talked to a guy yesterday, and he was fine to deal with. I was checking prices, and had to come back to get a new phone after I backed up my old one. Anyway, I waited an hour to talk to the guy who I spoke to originally, then after all that, they didnt even have the phone we talked to in stock. It probably would have been a good idea for them to check that... So I went across the street to Best Buy and got my phone, and didnt wait more than 3 minutes...

Recently went in to see if my manufacturers warranty could be fulfilled by Verizon, while assuming the worse. (That I would have to call the manufacturer and be out of a phone for a few weeks). Instead, I was greeted promptly and spoke with Andy. He quickly assessed my phone, and in less than 15 minutes in the store, I was told that I would receive a new phone in 2 days! Andy was extremely polite, well spoken, and efficient all while maintaining a conversation and explaining to me what the process was. It was a fantastic interaction, and Im extremely happy with the results! From the greeter, to Andy, the establishment was well taken care of and was an overall pleasant experience!

Staff can be hit and miss. Went in earlier this week and they were NOT helpful. Returned today and was helped by an associate named Jason, he was EXTREMELY helpful. I had question about my bill that he thoroughly explained. Rude and less then helpful. Tell you one thing then do another and try to get out of what has been asked many times. I asked them to call corporate for a better solution as I was not happy when I was offered a flip phone to replace my iphone.. They agreed to call and the rep went in the back, was there about 15 min, then came back with the flip phone suggestion. I asked if he called corp. he said no this was an in store idea they had first. Finally I got to the manager, he was also not that helpful and still refused to call corp. I would have called right then and there however my phone did not work. Then finally we get the insurance coverage for my phone that the rep missed and did not understand how to read and my replacement was sent to NY further delaying the receipt of the phone by a day. In the end we did finally get things somewhat sorted out but if you can find a different store I would recommend it. I heard other managers and staff being rude to other customers. You know its bad on a Sunday morning when there is a line of 20 people waiting outside all upset about their phone/service or how they have been treated.

BEWARE: Sales associates at this location use VERY aggressive and misleading sales tactics. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted to purchase. The man who assisted me took out a pad of paper and outlined my three options. ALL of which were up-sells and ALL of which were more expensive than what I wanted. He presented these as my ONLY options in a very pushy way- had I not done my homework, I may have gotten suckered in. When I told him I didnt want to buy any of the packages, he got aggressive, not taking no for an answer. We kept going back and forth- me telling him what Id like to buy, and him responding that maybe I just wasnt understanding and condescendingly going through his pitch again. It wasnt until my partner stepped in and said Hey buddy, you heard her- she just wants the phone and the plan that he finally huffed off and did what I had asked him (that is, sell me the phone I wanted to buy). I saw similar behavior from several other associates on the floor. I understand that everyone has a sales target to meet, but these kinds of tactics are rude, dishonest and predatory. Shame on the manager of this store for putting such pressure on the associates. I wont be returning to this location, and would encourage anyone considering shopping here to 1) do your research before and walk in knowing what you want/ what the price point is, and 2) bring a friend to back you up in case a sales associate gives you a hard time.

I went into this store tonight to buy a new smartphone. It only took about 5 minutes before Tony came over to wait on me. Didnt exactly have my heart set on a particular phone . I had done some comparisons on the phones they carry so I had an idea on which phones would be in the running. Tony explained the differences in the phones to me. He wasnt the least bit pushy and spent a lot of time with me, since Im not the most tech savvy person around. I knew what the prices were on the phones and the deals as well so I would know if I was getting a good price. The price he gave me on a higher end phone with my trade-in ended up being fairly close to a lower end phone I was considering. It was a very good experience and I would recommend this store to anybody. I had also been in several times with questions and difficulties with my previous phone and was always treated well and the problems were always solved in a short amount of time.I read a lot of negative comments about this store and Im sure that not all the salespeople are as good or as knowledgeable as Tony. Maybe you could talk to a different salesperson until you find one you like. Just wanted to let you know that not all experiences at that store are bad.

I stopped using Verizon a few years ago and began purchasing my phones from best buy. I broke my phone and the replacement I had needed a part they didnt carry. Best buy sent me to Verizon to get it. The three people at the desk dis not greet me. I walked up to the counter and the man didnt even look up from the video on his phone to help me. Begrudgingly he helped me. Just confirmed why I stopped going there. I wish it would go back to the way it was before when they were excellent.

$100 for a Lifeproof case for my S8+. Read. $100 for a piece of plastic that cost probably $2 to manufacture. A quick google search showed the exact same case on Amazon for $45 and free shipping. Asked if it could be price matched, and the guy just shook his head no. You would think that having an account, and one of their phones would warrant something. Very disappointed. Never going to step into another Verizon store again for an accessory.Its worth noting the employee did just fine. I just refuse to let them just flat out steal from me.

Terrible service. Took 30 minutes to be helped - my phone call volume was extremely quiet. When they finally helped me with my issue, she wiped my saved wifi and Bluetooth connects without asking for permission (which was an ametuar move to do in the first place since my issue was not related to Bluetooth or Wi-Fi).So instead of fixing my issue (which is still just as broken as broke as before), they ended up causing me more issues.Edit: The next day, I spent more time researching the issue and discovered a common troubleshooting test to fix the issue. Within 10 minutes, my issue was fixed by simply scrubbing the top phone speaker to clean it. This is something the staff should be trained on because it is a common issue with galaxy s9 phones and according to support forums (once I finally found the correct way to word my question), this is the #1 thing you should attempt before deleting any saved settings or factory resetting (which was the 2nd thing I was told to do)

If I could put a ZERO I would!!!!! Absolute waste of time to go out there. Have had my Iphone for 7 months and have never been able to send emails from my phone. Could receive them but just never had the time to take to go sit and wait at Customer Service out there. Today I went, thinking it would be SIMPLE. Waited 30 minutes to see a Rep, if you can call him that! Once I did, he looked at my phone, looked at a few settings and then tried to send an email from my phone which he received the same error I have been receiving. Basically told me to go home and change my password and if I still had issues, call Apple tech support. Came home changed my password and still error message. So I chatted with a tech support at Apple and all I needed to do was delete my email account and reset everything. Thank you Verizon for an absolute awful experience on my only day off this week.

Whoever the jackwagon you have running the front check in needs replaced! We referred to your store by the online tech coach because they was an issue with transferring info on the new phone. They were unable to do it online. We went to your store and the jerk running your counter said what they told us could be done was not possible to go back online. So we left only for another coach to tell us the phones could be hooked up in-store and all info transferred. The rep does everything to your account from the tablet and can even swipe your card from there. This is the only corporate store in Champaign though so there is usually a longer wait.

So first the costumer service in this store is terrible. I went in and got two new phones with a by one get one free deal. I got the 64 gb phone and the sales person explained that I would get a 650 rebate card to use towards the phone. So after a lot of run around to get the rebate submitted I finally received my card. I went in tonight to pay off one device. I was told my balance was much higher than what I was showing was left. The salesman stated that taxes dont show up on that and that the payoff was 749. I said ok I will put the card towards the phone and pay the rest with another form. He said I could not do this. To pay off the device it has to be all in one transaction. I feel like Verizon is dishonest with their promotions and that they are ultimately hoping people loose their cards during the time frame they have to wait. Once I get this all straightened out I will never go in this store again and I may leave Verizon all together.

Be prepared for a hard upsell and little or no onsite tech support. Purchased a 750.00 Google pixel 2 that started flashing when the screen would go dark after a software update. Was told since I didnt purchase insurance there was nothing they could do, then showed me to the door. Oh yeah, a 40 minute wait for service.
