Always buy more than I need. Selections are great

None of the employees ever acknowledged that we were in the store. The employee at the register was wearing a winter coat. The fabric area of store was a total mess as seen in my posted pics. Many of the aisles were so narrow I had to turn sideways to walk thru them. The bolts of fabric were in total disarray, and sticking out further in the aisles. If you have ever been to the Treadle in Bloomington, you will know what it was like.

Great location. I’m always able to find everything I need, and everyone is always helpful. It’s kind of on the smaller side, but it’s to be expected, and it’s clean and organized.

The employees are incredibly helpful with finding specific fabrics and items around, or just general questions. The store is huge with a limited number of employees, so one has to be a little patient, but Ive never had any issues or complaints here.

Clerks are only willingly to help white patrons.

Didnt have much what we were looking for in scrape booking

I always find what Im looking for and today I lost my work badge in the store and was thrilled that they found it and kept it at the register for me. A great team works here in the Champaign store.

Excellent help during cutting and assistance with fabric. During checkout, coupons did not correctly post and incorrect price used. Overcharged, this is 2nd visit in a row that this has occurred.

Clerks arent willingly offering help, kinda snobby clerks everytime i go in there and they are not too knowledgeable about sales and brands they carry either.

I came in looking for a specific fabric and they had more options than I even wanted! They sell everything related to fabric and fabric works, and some additional items like beads and a bit of fake flowers but mostly fabrics and materials related to making things with fabric (a la the name haha) fun store to walk around though and see everything.

Very helpful staff; a wide selection of sewing materials for craft enthusiasts.

The cashier was very rude. Tried to just hand me my items without a bag and when I asked for one, got quite the attitude, and mouthed off to my mother about the same exact thing.

I will say the store has a great selection but what ever you do, do not use the in store pickup. I have used it twice and both times they have been slow. I think it would have been faster to just go into the store and find it myself. The first time my wife placed an order at 10 in the morning. I went after I got off work at 4 and they didnt have it ready. That was fine because I understand that sometimes it gets busy. The last time we tried it was last night. We placed an order at 9:30. The store doesnt close until 10. We went to go pick it up at 6pm and they still didnt have it ready. Then when they went to pick it out they didnt have it in stock even though the website said they had 4. So I had to buy something more expensive that had less to it. When we got home tonight we found they had charged us for the order. I would highly recommend just walking in there yourself or take the time to have it shipped to store since it would be about the same time. I would just say go to Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

Joanns has a good selection of supplies for all kinds of crafts and home decor. You can get very good prices if you watch for sales and use easy-to-get coupons. Sales people were friendly and I had minimal wait in line.Selecting fabric is a real chore, though. They have too much stock for the space. Bolts are jammed together on the shelf, or even left lying in piles on the floor.

I really enjoy coming here for my beads. They have a good variety.

When ever I go, I am able to find what I need. The workers are friendly and helpful. I love the sales and they sale items for all occasions.

I am done shopping here. Constantly my local store refuses to let me use their coupons. Only reason I shop there is the coupons and rewards card. I do not get to use my rewards either. I have had them tell me my rewards did not work. I paid for the item myself and my rewards was also gone. Best part, they tell me the coupon wont work for a specific item.The coupon says that item is what it is for. I go online, coupon works there for the exact same item. Too much hassle. Other stores to shop at.

Had some coupons sent to my Phone for 40% Off Fabric. I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. So I got something completely different. And that is fine

I love going here. The sales are great and so are the people who work here. They have a lot more items than just fabric. I get my beads and other craft supplies that other places dont carry.

I had trouble with getting waited on getting my fabric cut and checking out

Nice and clean place

I needed 9 Skeins of yarn of a certain color, as I pulled them off the shelf there were only 6 so I started to put them back. An associate came to me Linda and told me she could order from the warehouse directly and have it sent to the store what I needed. I was so thankful because of this I am able to make the blanket that I wanted. Excellent customer service. Linda M. has helped advise me on Different fabrics, and help me with advice on how to put things together in the past. Great service.

The staff there were very helpful and so nice. I found exactly what Id been looking for except it was on clearance! My daughter had the app which also gave a great discount on the other items I needed.

I love Joann. They have great options for all kind of crafts. Especially buttons! But it is a little bit pricey. Thats why sometimes I prefer to buy my yarns at other stores.

Love this place. If your a crafter they will find what you need even if they have to order it for you. Entire staff is helpfull and easy to find.

Helpful and friendly staff. My first time at a fabric store for headliner material. The only width they keep in stock is 54. My old Tahoe requires at least 60 wide material. They were very helpful and didnt give me any grief when I returned it. Im surprised they dont get enough requests for wider material. They told me they didnt even have a way to special order wider stuff.

Rude staff and the manager to this store rated the store 5 stars herself. That is a conflict of interest and makes for a biased review.

I shop here all the time, and of course I need to but I will say its always crowded with narrow aisles. the clearance bins rarely have The product marked properly and most of the time there is a wait in line.

My favorite place to be! I only wish it was a bigger store... like a Joann Superstore! Staff are always helpful. When a big sale is happening sometimes the checkout can be a bit slow, but Im never in a hurry when I make my Joann supply run.

Good quality fabrics and craft supplies. Great selection of fabrics. But PRICEY unless you happen to have coupons but very particular how those work.

While the selection is usually good the aisles are very narrow. More space to use the carts or a wheelchair would be better.

I never get good service here. I just called to see if they carry an item in the store. They were able to tell me they did but unwilling to go and see if they had any in stock. They manage to waste my time even over the phone. Getting what i need at Michaels.

Had an issue with them and their coupon policy. Basically I got an email with my complaint saying we are sorry you dont understand our policy and said they could have someone sit on the phone with me and explain it like Im stupid.They discount everything they dont want you to use the coupons on so it would apply. They charge ridiculous amounts for everything. Better to buy online. Ive watched their price movements especially in correlation to their sales and read the fine print.

Will organized. Had just material we needed

The hardest thing is the cramped, stacked, high fabric aisles and trying to find the fabric you want. Its claustrophobic and not a user friendly fabric department. They have minimized the fabric and maximized all the crap they sell. Such a disappointment. I dread going there and now its almost the only option with Hancocks closed. They could do better with a different floor plan. Without the coupons they mail out it is not even worth sewing anymore, fabric prices are sky high. I only buy with a coupon. And even with that the rules are so sketchy its hard to really get what you want with them.

Come in get what you need and wait. Whomever the female manager was that I asked if anyone could help the fabric counter was so rude, had I been her boss I wouldve fired her. Rarely go in only because I cant wait in line twice over an hour lunch break.

Not enough staff to cut material and then not enough checkers. Love the store.

Was shorted on expensive ribbon by cashier who did not believe that an opened spool could possibly mean some had been removed. Bad service. Ruined project spent good money on for nothing. And thanks for nothing, Joann.

Terrible, manager Shannon was very unpleasant when it came to explaining how they measure and layout fabric before cutting

Easy accessible parking and entry. Greeted by employee upon entering.

Understaffed. Waited 20 minutes for the only available check out because two people ahead in line needed problem solving. Also smells like a cinnamon bomb went off but maybe some people like that sort of thing.

Sewing notions are limited and the staff not too helpful.
