Good company gets stuff done fast mechanics are awesome very hard workers the owner is very very hard worker he takes care of his place its a little old fashioned but they get the job done. I used to be employed there for a very short time I observed some improvements that could beeneeded that would be helpful for employees.paper work&writen clearly. Helps communicate get it done faster..They take care of the customers they go beyond. Hes not in business just for the looks they do the job but they need an upgrade inequipment. If I ever won a lottery and had the opportunity to help out I would definitely modernized it with new equipment upgrade. Tyler management is a cool outstanding guy.takes care of customer needs. They keep you informed about the work being done, and do their best to do it right. I will definitely take mine back any time it needs anything done.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! WISH THERE WAS A ZERO STAR OPTION!! Took a tire with a BAND NEW RIM to them to have the tire mounted and balanced. They did not mount the tire properly and damaged the rim. When we went back to get it fixed the owner was horrible! He cussed at and acted like he wanted to fight my husband. They said they would replace the rim and we are now fighting them on that, a week and a half later.. Supposedly they are ordering from the same place we did, but they got a bad one a week after the issue started and they don’t know when a new one will be there. They claim they are having shipping issues because of COVID, but when I call the place they tell me I can have another one in two days…. Finally I called and said they could just pay for the one we have and call it done and they said ok, but when I get there the owner said he would only pay for the damaged rim if he got it back… The owner argued with me about it and refused to pay for the damaged one, even though he can’t get another one… The owner is RUDE and will no longer be getting any of my business!

Costs were very reasonable and quality work performed quickly. Honest, friendly, and trustworthy. Definitely recommend!

Went to sams club to patch a hole in my tire…they lied and told me that I needed all 4 tires replaced and wouldn’t patch my tire. Went to Norris’s tire repair and he removed the nail in my tire and patched it within 15 minutes for only 16 dollars! Great customer service, honest workers.

Tyler is great, he knows what he is doing, been in the business a long time. They are very professional and take care of the customer. Never over charging or making you spend money on things that don’t need to be fixed.I have been taking my 07 3series BMW here for 5 years and have never had a bad experience. They always get the best parts for my car to make sure it runs well. They know their limits when it comes to high end cars too. Great mechanic.

I took my car to Norris Tire to have an oil leak fixed. At least two other places had told me they couldnt find the leak, and even though they charged me for a part, the leak continued. Tyler called me within a couple of hours after I dropped off my car and told me exactly what the problem was and what it would cost to fix it. Even though they didnt have the part at first and I thought I would have to wait to get it fixed, Tyler called back later that day saying the part showed up and they could go ahead and fix it. I also had an exhaust issue that Tyler said they could fix, but he referred me to another business that he said could fix it less expensively. I was impressed! Excellent communication and service--and my car doesnt leak oil any more!

Norris is a great local business! They plugged my tire with a nail in it very quickly, were extremely helpful, pleasant, affordable, and fast. I liked their business so much I went back to purchase a whole new set of tires!

That’s my VW van. Took it in because oil change place quoted me $1200 saying I had loose tie rods. Norris got it in same day, had a look and told me the rods look fine and should be good for another 1-2 years. No charge. Not sure if they’d do that every time or what, but that’s what you call an honest mechanic. C-U, take note.

Have been using Norris for Years and trust them implicitly. Thought I had brake shoe problems making a clunk when I released the brakes once and authorized doing all 4 wheels. when I picked it up the bill was $17. Turns out they inspected my brakes & found them just fine. Further found that the under mounted spare had been leaking air which loosened it to swing free. they fixed the spare and charged a very reasonable fee. Theyve had my trust ever since and never let me down. service is always quick, first rate & reasonable. Never hesitate to recommend.

My fiancé and I were on our way to Memphis TN from NW Indians and got a flat tire on the highway at 4:30pm. We changed the tire to the donut and rushed to Norris Tire and Auto. We got there 10 minutes before they closed. They could have been super rude for our late show, but they weren’t, they were extremely nice. We walked in and explained our scenario and told them we would like to buy a new tire. After they examined our tire, they came back and said they could save us a lot of money if they patched it. Went from almost $300 to $16 and got us back on the road by 5:35 (5 minutes after they closed). Extremely thankful for their understanding and definitely recommend them for their excellent customer service!

Not only were the people at Norris Tire & Auto very straightforward and honest when purchasing my original set of tires, but theyve been fantastic in their follow-up service since then too. A few different times Ive gone in to check on a tire getting low and theyve removed an object and plugged the tire for a very minimal charge and have replaced my tire valves for no charge at all. Very friendly and helpful place!

I needed some work done ASAP on my brakes and these guys told me to come to the shop right away if I wanted to. they had my car done in no time .... the price I paid for the work was very fair. I also had a leak in a tire that they plugged at no cost. When I went to blains farm and fleet in Urbana with the same tire I was told there was a nail in the side wall And I’d need all new tires. There’s a few shops in Champaign / Urbana that everyone should avoid because of high labor costs and dishonest work, But Norris is legit I recommend and will return. I have trouble trusting auto shops but I feel so safe here! They give me all the information to make an informed decision about necessary vs. unnecessary repairs. I have an older car and dont want to spend a ton of money on upkeep. When I brought it in with a problem they could fix but would be expensive, they referred me to shop who could do it cheaper. Sometimes it feels like I am fighting to give them money as they have done lots of small checkups for minimal fees. Even the oil changes are reasonable priced!

Norris Tire has always been the best in town since I arrived in Champaign 6 years ago. They will uote you the price before they work and update you immediately if anything new arises. They recently fixed a weather cracked tire quickly and then my tire valve stem collapsed later that day. Therefore, I brought it in the next day and they repaired the air valve stem free of charge since they stand by their workmanship and they deliver! Let me tell you!

Called Norris Tire and asked if they would balance a trailer wheel for me. Their response was, “why would you want to balance a trailer wheel?” Wrong response! I tried to give them business, but apparently they don’t need it. I instead took the wheel to Tires Plus, who happily balanced it in a matter of minutes without questioning me. Norris Tire lost any future business from me because of their attitude.

Very honest people here, would definitely recommend! Took my car in because one of my tires was losing air way too fast and they told me all they had to do was tighten the air valve and they didnt even charge me for it since it was such an easy and quick fix. Thanks Guys!

Had a new tire that was not even put on the ground yet. It was bad,took over 24 ounces to balance it. They would not help me get a new tire to replace it, because it wasnt bought from them. No matter where the tire has been bought, if it is new or even if it has been driven on. If it is defective, and you sell that tire or can order it you should honor the warranty. I have been working on cars and selling tires since 1975 and have never had this happen before. They can forget about me ever recommending their location, if anybody asks me about them. Mich tires have been notified that they were not willing to warranty a new BF Goodrich tire.

If you live in the Champagne area and need auto work, you need to go here. We were in town from Dallas. The transmission cooling hose come out of the radiator and lost about all our fluid.They worked us in a little later that day. They were very honest, the hose was able to fit back on without having to buy another hose. The bill was extremely fair and it is great to know there are nice, honest shops out there.Being stranded so far from home, they could have taken advantage of us and we would be forced to pay.Thank You Norris Tire and Auto Center. Ive taken three different cars to these guys (2011 Corolla, 2003 Golf GTI VR6, 2012 Civic SI), and every time, the work has been very reasonably priced (sometimes lower than expected), and the work they do is excellent, AND they stand by their work.One time my wifes Corollas brakes started squealing not even 6 months after we had our brakes done here, and we brought it back to them to see what was wrong. Turns out something had worked loose and there was metal-on-metal scraping. They checked their records and found we took our car there to have the brakes done months ago, so they didnt charge us for the work! I thought, really? That was months ago. Youre sure? He said, Well, we were the last ones to work on the brakes, so if something came loose, thats on us. No charge. Thats just one of many things that separates these guys from other shops.Very professional and friendly, excellent work, and reasonable prices. Cant ask for more!
