Great refurbishing - BEST RE-CANING Ive ever found. Im a return customer for their re-caning work. Professional job fixing the seats and matching the color to the chair. These guys are fantastic! I have an antique wooden kitchen chair that was very weak and had already been repaired a couple of times. Someone sat on it the wrong way and the wood on the right side split and the bottom frame came apart as well. This chair was necessary for the kitchen set so needed to have it repaired. The result: Atlanta Furniture Restoration fixed the chair better than anyone else previously had and now it is sturdy enough to last for awhile. Great job!

I have a cherished oak Morris Rocker bought in the early 70s with a mechanism allowing it to recline via a push button. The back wood split. Two beautiful cherry tables from the 1950s have been languishing in our attic for years; faded, oxidation damage, and drying of the wood rendered them sad relics of a beautiful past....or so we thought! I took a wood frame chair that had been dropped on its ear to Atlanta Furniture Restoration. It had a good size irregular crack in the top left corner of the frame revealing part of the dowel. Given the angle of the crack and the curved armrest I did not see how it could be repaired. I left it with Al who said he would call in 7 to 14 days. 8 days later he called to say the chair was repair. HE DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB. My husband and I are delighted with the work. My husband and I had 8 dining chairs that were in desperate need of re-caning. After speaking with Al, and instructed on how to remove the seats, we dropped them off at their Chamblee location. The seats were beautifully re-caned and completed earlier than expected and were placed around our dining table for Thanksgiving with our family. An amazing craftsman! Als work is genius! Took a scuffed, scratched, stained and damaged mid-century coffee table (a valuable family piece wed lost hope in repairing) and restored it to its former glory. Sent a photo of the finished piece to my 89 year old mother, who had originally purchased it in 1951, and she was amazed and thrilled and said it looked exactly like it did the day she bought it. The folks at Atlanta Furniture Restoration were top notch and very friendly. We had a 100+ year old piece of French settee we inherited, with 1 broken leg and another wobbly. While this was nearly impossible to fully fix, they gave me my options and said they would do the best possible job they could do and treat it with care. It was important to us to get fixed and keep in the family another 100 years. Upon picking it up, I was happy to see the legs were sturdy once again, and the arms of the settee strengthened. Strips of bamboo were missing from the legs and the shelf on the bottom - which was suppose to be connected to the legs, was hanging by a thread.Al put the table back together. He filled in the legs and faux painted them to look like bamboo; he did a great job!!When my husband took it out of the car he said WOW he obviously has done this before
