I have used my personal MAC Book Pro for work for 7 years now, 12 to 14 hours a day. The hard drive finally died and I could not afford another MAC.I brought it to Sunrise Computers and Electronics to have a new hard drive installed; they had my MAC back to me in 3 working days. They also broke it down, cleaned the fans and removed years of dust and dirt. Its like a new MAC and I can honestly say, it has never ran faster.Very affordable for the installation of the new hard drive, and turnaround time. I could have lost weeks of work waiting for someone else to fix it, but Sunrise Computers and Electronics got me back up and running immediately and I know they are a busy shop. I highly recommend their services. One happy customer :)
This was the best computer repair shop Ive ever gone to! I dropped my brand new (used) computer several months ago after only having it for 2 weks and busted my hard drive. When I finally had time to take it in these guys worked on it so quick and I had it back and fully operational in less than a day! Im so happy to have my computer back. Now I can finally write again!

When my iPad stopped working, I decided to take it to Sunrise and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The sales person gave me several options and took the time to explain each one in detail. I never felt pressured to either have it repaired or to purchase new tablet. When I decided to have a diagnostic evaluation done, the service person,Mark, gave me options and explained the pros and cons of each. I have my iPad back and it is functioning well. Small store not really catering to what I was sent there for. My daughters phone is spazzing Verizon told us to come here for a warranty exchange. The lady who helped my daughter told her she would call and inform them that we were coming. She did not. Thats not their fault tho. I did see some cool electronics I might be interested in.
In the middle of a big project for work, my old computer just stopped working completely. I called Sunrise because theyre closer than the Apple store and they were able to get me another Macbook at an amazing price. The whole process - from calling them to walking out with the computer - took under an hour - less time than itd take me to drive to Apple! Will definitely keep going back!

If you have the need for a computer, video, or sound solution----- this is the place to go!! I was born in the era of mimeograph machines and black and white tv so Im definitely not a digital native. Shane took the time to talk me through various solutions to a tricky tech presentation problem. I give 5 stars and a big virtual hug!!! They have the knowledge and personal touch that big box stores and mouse clicks cant give you.
I needed a capacitor for my mower these guys were my last resort after no parts place in the entire world had the capacitor by being an electronic place figured I would give it a shot they looked at what I had and got me something they were sure would work and it did! Very pleased they saved mower! Literally with $1 and knowledge. Highly recommend been here for phone repairs as well
I spilled liquid on my MacBook keyboard and it stopped working. I took it to them and they tried to charge me 600 dollars to replace the entire keyboard and trackpad. I took to other guys and all they had to do was clean it and it worked perfectly fine for only 170. They tried to make me buy an entire new keyboard without actually diving into the problem at hand.
My laptop gave me a message saying it wasnt recognizing the hard drive and therefore could not boot up (apparently a known issue with my computer). I took it to Sunrise on 6/15/20 and was told they could have a technician look at it the following day and get back to me. I never received a return call, but instead had to call in on 6/18/20. I was told my hard drive had failed (certainly not Sunrises fault), and then the tech tried to sell me a new hard drive. I told him I wasnt interested in that, and asked if there was any way to extract data from the failed drive. He made no guarantees, but said he would try it out and get back to me. On 6/22 he called back and said nothing about the data extraction, but instead tried again to sell me a new hard drive. I asked again to try to extract the data, and he told me he would call me back in the morning. Next morning came, no call, and when I called in, the tech wasnt there. I was told I would be receiving a call in a matter of minutes as soon as he returned. An hour later, I called again, and was FINALLY told that the drive isnt mounting. I picked everything up and do not intend to ever go back in there. The tech came into the main part of the shop and wouldnt even look at me. Very poor service. I understand that they have other work, and I wasnt expecting them to drop everything and look at my issue, but the vibe I got was that the tech never even bothered to try helping me after I refused to buy what they were trying to sell. Dont let these guys waste your time.
Made a order pay for it in the store waited 3 days never got a call back lady couldnt find me in the system said i had to pay first what kind of business is this not a real apple authorize dealer called apple they said the product i was getting is only $107 they charge me $136 dont waste your time like they did mine
Great experience working with Sunrise. I sent a Facebook message and with in minutes had step by step ACCURATE information. Such a smooth process to get back on my computer and back to work!
Brought my computer on January 18 and did not received feedback until i called them for it, 2 weeks later. After their diagnosis i did not receive feedback, another 2 weeks passed and i called to inquire over the status.. I was informed their tech would be calling be back but they didnt. 2/27, i decided to pick my computer up. They were not sucessful in repairing. Though i understand hardware failure. It is their lack of communication which really made me upset. I do not recommend coming here for any computer repairs.
Excellent computer technicians!
First off, this place is an authorized Apple store. I took my sons iPhone in to have it looked at because he couldnt even get to his home screen. They tried doing a restore there but it didnt work. They told me they would have to send it out to Apple and that they would let me know if they would be authorized to replace it or if I would have to wait for a repair. This was on a Saturday. They called me Monday when the service manager was back in, he let me know that it was sent out to Apple and that he should have an answer the next day regarding whether or not they could go ahead and replace it. He called the following morning to let me know that I was able to get a replacement phone, free of charge. A good experience...timely and professional.
Very helpful. I was traveling for business, and needed some specific equipment fast. They talked through my options, and their prices were very fair. Great over the phone service as well.
If you get the right person they are EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE and take the time to listen, understand and then to educate you. I appreciate that they invest their time ---before selling you on repairs or new technology. I have had multiple repairs done and probably need to upgrade to newer technology and will eventually. I recommend this company for any apple repairs or to get educated on ALL apple products
My cell phone wasnt holding a charge, so they replaced the battery. That didnt work, so I took it back. They downloaded my cell phone info. to my laptop, restored my cell phone & reloaded the info. from my laptop back to my cell phone. It took awhile, but they couldnt have been any more helpful!! Had phone battery replaced here a few months ago because this repair shop claimed they had apple authorized repairs. I took my phone into an Apple Store today again because of a faulty battery. They cant even fix it because the battery repair wasnt authorized, and I have to get an entirely new phone . DO NOT go here if you need an apple product fixed. What could have been an easy fix is now hundreds because of this shop.
After having a really bad day being shut out of my iphone, the people of Sunrise Computers handled the situation with expertise & professionalism. Very knowledgeable in handling every question asked. I was so impressed that while there, decided to buy a new MacBook Air ! Job well done!!
The PC guy was no help. He wanted us to dismantle computer, put it in new case to make their mother board fit for an obscene amount of $$. I was looking on line for actual mother board for our specific computer, ordered it all whole the PC guy was giving numerous reasons why we needed to just do what he recommended. I said well think about it and we left. On our way home stopped by another computer shop to inquire about placing new board...they said no problem and that none of what other place said was necessary or correct. Dont waste your time or money here!!!
I am not one to write reviews, but I have experienced nothing but rude, unprofessional encounters when dealing with Sunrise. On multiple occasions this has happened, so I will no longer be dealing with them under any circumstances. The nearest Apple location is over an hour away, so Sunrise was always a closer option, but unfortunately I will be making the trek to the official Apple store.
They can fix any PC operating system, very quick service at reasonable prices. Sells new and refurbished Apple products. Very knowledgeable employees.

Note: I am a retired IT manager for a large company.One morning my Lenovo Ideapad woke up to a Windows update boot loop.My 4 year old machine needed to have a software repair reload. I chose Sunrise because they are an old-style service shop-not one inside a box store. They properly diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate and possible time-line.The techs were knowledgable and aware of the upgrade boot loop problem. As I am working I was unwilling to do the work myself.They checked my hardware and repaired Windows 10. Cost was $200 which was fair. Recommend them highly.
I took my girlfriends laptop in to have the hinges repaired. They first tried to sell us a laptop with mediocre storage and an average processor before agreeing to repair our laptop. A few days later we were told that the repair couldnt be made and we actually had to pay to get our non-repaired laptop back except this time it was in several different pieces, (1- the keyboard (2- the monitor (3-the monitor frame and finally the hinges. So after contacting Toshiba I learned that the technician who attempted the repair could only do so while in a Clean room which their location remotely even appears to have. So if you are in the market for any computers, regardless of brands or looking for a repair technician dont even bother with this company, its just a bunch of middle aged want to be geeks just sitting around playing computer games if thats even what theyre doing

In a time when people can get almost any product or service they want on the internet, local people like those at Sunrise Electronics need to realize that the only card they have to play is in person customer service. Unfortunately they dont seem to understand this because my experience there was terrible. I went in multiple times to have them look at a dying computer and then to purchase a new one along with accessories. Every time I went in I was treated like a stranger they didnt remember from 2 days before. Then when I placed a nearly $1500 order for a new Apple computer and accessories they werent able to even give me an estimated delivery date. So after an entire week I didnt hear anything, I called them and was given the run around for 2 days as they shuffled me between people, none of whom seemed to know what was going on. Finally I gave up after 2 weeks from the order date and cancelled. I then ordered from an online co. and received my new computer in 3 days. After all this I still wanted to stick with the local folks to give them some business so I tried to buy the accessories from them, only to find out some they didnt have in stock and on others they misquoted the prices from the time of my original order. The staff all act and look very unprofessional and gave me no confidence at all that they could properly sell and service the products they supposedly offer. If anybody wants to complain about the internet taking jobs this is a good example of people who dont deserve their jobs.
We had the best experience with the kind and knowledgeable staff at Sunrise. My wife had to replace her iphone in the midst of a 2200 mile backpacking trip. She needed to sync the phone to itunes to activate it. Since we werent carrying any computers with us (!) Sunrise helped us connect and activate. Tons of free advice made it a great experience. We couldnt have done it without them.By the way, they didnt even charge us so we took full advantage of their tip jar! Fully recommend!!

We worked with Apple to diagnose and order a new cell phone battery. Went to this certified Apple store to install the new battery. However, they damaged the logic board in the process of switching out batteries then tried to tell us its just something that happens sometimes - regrettable, but they bear no liabiity. They also did not have time to put the old battery back in and we had to make 2nd appt the next day to have that done (as a last hope it would work). We never would have done the battery replacement if this risk was disclosed! They say it happens 3 or so times a year, yet they dont think its important to let customers make an informed battery replacement decision?! With the old battery back in, the phone that WAS functional is now COMPLETELY unusable. I had to press for management to consult the owner for fair phone compensation. Still awating a return call. Addendum: they called the next day to offer an identical phone replacement.
I found what I was looking for elsewhere and cheaper but the tech that’s answered the phone was very professional and quickly ascertained that they did have what I was looking for in stock.
Had problems with my MacBook Pro crashing randomly and brought it in. They took THREE HOURS to run diagnostics (which should only take 30 minutes) and told me there was nothing wrong with my computer. I also have AppleCare+ which I paid a lot for but apparently It doesn’t cover expenses unless they find something wrong with the hardware so they made me pay $40 for this DIAGNOSTICS TEST only to send me home with a crashing computer and no answers whatsoever. Called Apple and will be sending in my device FREE OF CHARGE. Also when I called them to follow up and get some customer support DAVE from sunrise kept going on about how hard it is to be an authorized Apple retailer!! So good for them! Don’t waste your time and money!! Horrible experience!!

Avoid even if is close to you!!!My Macbook Air needed to be repaired, Apple customer service told me that my Computer was affected by a recall on the flash memory and that the repair will be for free. I brought my computer to Digital Sunrise since it is the closest authorized repair facility (still over one hour drive for me). At Digital Sunrise after waiting for a diagnose they told me that they didnt have enough information to know if my computer was affected by the recall, they told me that they will call me to let me know if it was or not under the recall, that they will not work on it until I authorize them to do the repair, then they made me sign a paper with a small print, that I didnt read. I received a call from them and they told me that the repair was not covered under the recall and that the repair will be $670 (as much as my computer is worth) I told them to dont repair it that I will pick it up. When I picked it up they told me that I had to pay $43.XX for the diagnose, I was never informed about this cost and apparently it was written in the paper that they made me sign. I was very upset as they didnt disclosed it at any time and the Apple Stores do not charge for diagnose!!!After more than 4 hours drive and $43, I have a broken computer.Next time I will go to the Apple Store in Lancaster.
