Very pleasant experience. Went in to look and came home in a new (to me) vehicle. Larry was awesome and patient with me as I made my decisions and very helpful with it also. He didnt pressure me and really streamlined the whole experience. I was in and out in 2 hours total, which was amazing! Last time I purchased a vehicle it took 4 hours the first day and about an hour the next! Very pleased!
An all around good dealership to visit/buy from. Very nice salesman and management. Nice selection of vehicles. Salesman was very knowledgeable, answered every questioned I had. There was no push to buy a certain vehicle, left the options wide open. The whole team made sure my wife and I were comfortable and understanding with the whole process. Patience is her virtue, not to mention her positive attitude, courtesy and professionalism. Tried to fix it then let us know the problem in order to order parts to fix as soon as possible. They were able to fix it Tuesday once the parts came in after ordering the parts the previous Friday. I was traveling from Indiana to New Jersey and had car trouble. I was towed to Shively Motors and they determined I needed a new transmission. They were extremely helpful and courteous. I continued to New Jersey and they had my vehicle ready when I passed back through on my way back to Indiana. Made it back safely. If I lived in that area they would definitely be a repair place I’d be confident in using.
I went to Shively to have my car serviced not sure that i could have it done the same day i was going to schedule it for another time. The man who waited on me said that they could do it now and have me back on road about an hours time. They not only fixed and serviced my car quickly the service charge was very reasonable Oil change tires rotated rear light bulb replaced and panel underneath engine fixed all for the price of the light bulb WOW!

I purchased a used 2019 RAM 1500 Classic from another local dealership that shall remain nameless (Blaise Alexander Chevrolet, Greencastle, PA oops). The initial transaction went fine. Even gave them a good review. It had 12,268 miles on the odometer. Recently, I took the vehicle to Shivelys for some warranty work. They gave the truck a once over and discovered that the rear brake rotors were pitted and in need of replacing. When purchased from Blaise, the truck passed a state inspection. Due to the COVID pandemic, I only drove it about an additional 1,500 miles over about six months. It was garage kept and well maintained as all my vehicles are. There is no possible way the brakes could have passed inspection and deteriorated to that extent. Shivelys suggested I contact Blaise Alexander to see if they would provide any relief. I did, they absolutely refused to provide any level of relief.With little choice (this being a safety issue), I authorized Shivelys to do the necessary repairs, cost, about $500. Out of the blue, David Gray, Shivelys service advisor called me and said the dealership didnt think it was right for me to cover 100% of the repair cost. They offered to to do the necessary work for a $100 deductible. Mind you, this was unsolicited on my part. They just felt it was the right thing to do. Needless to say, they will have all my RAM repair work in the future.I want to thank Shivelys for their consideration and professionalism.

I can only say that anyone looking for a car or truck should definitely take the time to stop in at Shively ‘s. I bought two cars from them and they are extremely courteous and they’re there to make the buying experience pleasurable. The pricing was phenomenal and the service after the sale has been nothing short of extraordinary. I had one small issue with my ram 1500 and Shively‘s went above and beyond to make sure that it was taken care of. In this day and age you can buy a vehicle based on price alone, but when you get a company that sells you a great product at a great price and then follows it up with great service it means something.

We are very pleased with the service we received at Shively! No pressure, no hard sales, just super friendly! We called ahead to be sure it was still on the lot. When we got there, the car was up front, ready for a test drive! An hour and a half later, we drove it off the lot. When we had a issue with a weird clicking noise when we turned the heater on for the first time ten days later, they got us in right away and took care of it no problem! We’re extremely happy!

Good selection of used vehicles. No pressure process to test drive a few vehicles, get my trade in vehicle appraised and even drive the Jeep we were interested to lunch while we made a decision. Trade value was more than fair. Salesman (highly recommend Nick Shearer) even let us try out their Jeep course at the back of their lot while we waited a short time to get the paperwork done!I already had gotten pre-approved through my local credit union but Shivleys made it even easier by handling all the financing steps because they already had a relationship with that credit union. So I could avoid all the back and forth of submitting docs and picking up a check.I dont think youll be disappointed when shopping for your next vehicle at Shivelys!
This service appointment was actually for my work rental truck but we did buy our Jeep here new in 2012, The staff is always very friendly and very knowledgeable. The biggest reason I like Shively is when it comes to the service dept they treat my wife with respect this is the only dealer I have found that is like this and as for the sales staff you ask a question they have the answer and show you the detail features of a vehicle not repeating what’s in a sales brochure.Shively will always be my dealer
The service advisor was excellent and John the tech is outstanding. All went well with them. I will be back. The reason for four stars instead of five is a total disregard for COVID-19. Yes they have plastic shields in use but none of the salesmen or managers were wearing masks. They may not care but customers do.

Tara helped me get a Jeep I really wanted. There was a minor mistake. They had the choice to step up and do the right thing or leave me on the clothes line hanging dry. They did the right thing and went above and beyond to help me. They called me and expressed genuine care and consideration for the issue I had. Sometimes Mistakes happen it’s the right places that step up and do the right thing. This is one of those dealerships. If i was rating on a one to ten scale I would probably come in at around 14 and a half . Rating this dealership probably isn’t fair as I had been to a local dealership hear in Waynesboro the week before and was treated so poorly and unprofessionally that it makes Shively Motors look good even if they had been closed . Seriously though, Shively was great ! Our salesman NICK was great, MIKE, I’m not sure what his title was, he was also great, personable, and very professional. It all went quick ( or as quick as it could go at a car dealership), simple, strait forward and professional. I might even go as far as to say, I trust these guys . So if you don’t mind driving a little out of your way I would highly recommend these folks .

Bought a Gladiator here and the experience was very pleasant and went smooth. The people here are very friendly and dont pressure you. I went to another well known Jeep dealer weeks prior and they made me wait for hours and then wouldnt work with me on financing or anything. I got a decent deal here considering these vehicles dont have many incentives yet. Had some customizations done to it, and it came out great. Also had a TSB performed and they didnt argue about it. Got it fixed and everything is great now. I highly recommend them.

I felt really dis-respected by this dealership. I originally contacted them online from a Facebook post I saw regarding a 2500 Truck. The lady I spoke with online was very nice to me in the several corresponses we had. I gave her a price point I couldnt go past and she relayed to me that my price point might be possible because of all the deals Ram has going on. My wife and I drove an hour to go to dealership after alerting Shively we were coming. When we got there they had no 2500 Trucks on the lot. Then we were told the only deal they had ($1,000 rebate) for the truck I was looking at wouldnt get me to my price point and that I should look for a used vehicle and I was told to my face by the salesman he could probably get me close, by 50-75 bucks. Worked up the numbers and the best deal they showed me got to within 200 dollars to my price point and that was with a considerable down payment. Ironically a tv commercial my wife and watched just tonight after being at their dealership, RAM has up to 7,300 dollars in rebates for labor day week end on ram trucks???I made it pretty clear that if shively couldnt get me close to the price I needed that I wouldnt waste their time. I just feel like they wasted my day for us to drive that far not to even start at a point that we could begin a deal beside that fact they didnt even have the truck on the lot for us to drive.

I took my 2020 Dodge Durango in for my first oil change and inspection. They honored my contract and the oil change and inspections were both free of charge which made my wallet feel pretty good. The staff was efficient and got me in and out in about a half an hour. Shively Motors is set up to be very COVID friendly and seating is spaced appropriately. I have gotten my last two cars at Shivelys and I am very happy with their services.

I have been looking for a 3500 duely pick up and stopped at other dealers in the area and wasn’t pleased right off the bat with the offer they made on my trade in. In fact it was insulting. Found the truck I wanted online. Had a few questions that Leighton (salesman) answered over the phone. I arrived to Shively at 5:05pm and drove away in my new truck at 5:29pm. Excellent hassle free experience. Worth the 6 hour round trip.
Took my car in and they found the leak and fixed it. They didn’t have the part so they took it upon themselves to contact other dealerships to see if they had one before ordering one. Also had nice employees and staff. I’d take it back if anymore issues pop up.

I was told that my service would take 1.5 hrs. At the 2 hr mark, I noticed that my van was still in the same spot where I parked it. After asking about my van, the man who I had spoke to when I arrived, had to go ask a few people about my van. Ultimately, he told me that the mechanic did not know I was waiting because he did not tell him. He apologized to me. I was angry after waiting 2 hrs for my van. I grabbed my keys and left. I wasted 2 hrs of my time when I could have been at work. Those are 2 hrs of benefit time from my job. Not to mention that my van still needs repaired so either I wait for my van and I burn more benefit time from work or I drop my car off and inconvenience someone to drive me back-n-forth. I had a very bad experience today. I realize that he made a mistake. Everyone does. No one has bothered to call me in an attempt of service recovery. No one cares.
Eric is a great salesperson! Answered all our questions over many emails and text messages and thoroughly went over a vehicle with us just for us to take a test drive. He made the sales process seamless, easy, and fun. As a result we now own a new to us 2017 Ram 2500.Jason made the paperwork portion of our purchase the simplest we have ever had. There was a minor hickup as far as options that we thought the vehicle had but didnt, but they went out of their way to find one at another dealer (same color that my wife loved) and have it brought there for us! So we basically traded in our brand new car for another one, hassle free! Staff was super friendly and very professional!
I had my car inspected and received great service. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was told I needed new windshield wipers to pass inspection. I was told how much they would be. Then when I went to pick my car up, it was an extra $15. I dont believe wiper blades should be almost $50. Thats an outrageous price. Other than that the people were amazingly friendly and the service didnt take long at all.
