In town for a family gathering and Rocky and Carlos was closed so we ended up at Par 3...I had fried catfish and mac n cheese. Yummy!!!! Hubbys chicken parm was GIGANTIC and pretty darn good. Definitely will be back when we are in town again. Great service too!!!

No eggs, not a one, empty shelves throughout store, understaffed, as usual. Hurricane Ida was weeks ago, store still empty. Lines literally to back if store, most cashier stations unattended. The blame the hurricane and the labor shortage, but oar fir the course and been like this for years. If you love long lines and empty shelves, this is your place.

There are two considerations to be done to rate this Walmart Supercenter honestly:If youre looking for food average quality items with quite comprehensive options, its the right place; if instead, you are looking for good quality food items, you might think to go somewhere else. However, the four stars are for the quite competitive prices and the several additional alternatives such as clothes, furniture, stationery items, techs, and so forth, available within the Supercenter.

I was trying to purchase some halloween decorations that didn’t have a price tag. The employee assisting at the self checkout asked me to go find one with a price tag. Okay. I went and looked and none of them were priced but had a sign indicating the price above the display. She called a manager and a few minutes later latasha appears looking annoyed. She tells me I can’t buy it unless it has a price tag. I take her back to the display and there are none with a price tag. The entire time she’s telling me not to tell her how to do her job and was down right confrontational. I asked for her supervisor and she refused mumbling something under her breath about someone having a baby. She then storms off telling me to go to the customer service desk. That’s ALL she had to tell me from the beginning and the problem would have been solved instead of her acting completely unprofessional and aggressive. Latasha needs to get some training on how to speak to customers and yes, how to do her JOB.

The was ok but the shells was empty do to Ida the hurricane. but my experience was satisfied. Will shop there again in the near future. 👍🏼😀

One of the best Walmarts Ive had the pleasure to visit, from management down to the cashiers age very customer oriented! Which is very surprising for Walmart.

The employees were busy stocking the shelves for which I thanked each one as I passed but there was nothing in the cold or freezer portions of the store. This was understandable since Ida knocked out all power. The constant issue with this place is that they NEVER have enough checkers. So most of the customers have to go know the self checkout lines. Why are we taking jobs away from cashiers who need them? Why do we have to shop, bag our own groceries (sometimes no bags are available) and stand in a line of anywhere between 5 and 9 people in order to work for free for Walmart. Pay cashiersore money so you can hire more and let the consumers try and enjoy shopping and checking out.

Most of the staff is very nice and friendly. Some not so pleasant. Store is always so nice and clean. My only issue is that they are always super crowded and some shelves were empty

A well run and clean store.I mean its WalMart, we all have a love/hate relationship with them but I can certainly say the staff is friendly and helpful but the store is clean and well organized.My only real complaint is there always seems to be a line for the self checkout and there never seem to be enough traditional checkout lines open. They should really consider another self checkout bay.

Limited inventory for fresh fruits and vegetables, other walmarts nearby offer the same products for cheaper.

The food is always amazing, and even tho service can seem a bit rough, it is always friendly when I visit. I dont usually do breakfast, but Slims is definitely the spot to make an exception. Love the Greek omlette...and wish the banana pancakes were still allowed on my diet. :)

Normally good to shop at but their service is terrible. tried to buy something in the electronic area and they ignored me. asked for help and she said she’ll get someone. she never returned and no one helped me. i also asked SEVERAL people but none of them helped 🤨 also the lines are wayyy too long and only a few registers are open

The worst customer service experience ever, poor work ethics and bad attitudes. I dont really complain much if its not that big of a deal, but this was so bad I stopped shopping at Walmart all together...

Walmart is convenient and has reasonable prices. They also have everything you need in one place. So I can give them that. Unfortunately, theyre jewelry department is closed, although they just put new jewelry in their cases, within the past couple of months. Theyre produce department is shrinking more and more. The management team is rude and most of the time unhelpful.

Ugh pick up orders. So early this morning I received an email from Walmart stating that my pickup order has been canceled, because... A whole lot of reason.the Email is enclosed.. So I re ordered... To pick up my order... That now contained the canceled order and the new order. Over 700$ worth of items.. We waited like 20 minutes for them to start putting stuff in the car only to find out later.... Im missing so Many things... Sigh

I love it because I see the hard workers, the human beings. Not just the uniform. Some are tired. Some are struggling in personal life challenges but they are trying.

4 registers. All of these people. Why? Just FN Why? Hahaha. So now 20 minutes after my review, they open 4 more lanes. But what about the people who have been waiting for over an hour. The pictures don’t tell much. But the video that I will be sending to your Corporate Office will.

Staff was not really helpful on this trip to the store. Asked for help and the staff person sent me to the wrong area for an item I wanted to purchase. My mom and I just so happen to run up on the item. The item was completely on the other side of the store.Mom and I left the store and went to another Wal-Mart in the city

Original post was about Aug 22, was originally posted on the money center but the incident involves both store management and the money center, and thus is being posted here as well in hopes that I might save another customer from a similar situation:: Seems like this walmart either has stocking issues or supply chain issues, despite being the most convenient location to my home, generally I save time by visiting another location despite the extra travel time... To top all this off, 2 weeks ago corporate updated the hours erroneously, so i call to confirm the hours before i spend my last 20$ to lift to walmart to cash a check and buy groceries with my family, was told they close at 8pm... Lifted there at 6:45 and of course it was closed, so now im stranded at walmart due to the misinformation both on google and by calling, I of course am going to require a good explanation of why its closed over an hour early, and apparently both certified employees left at 6pm and the team lead who was left in charge of the store isnt properly trained nor is anyone else at work... Where do they do that at? Every job I have ever worked the MOD (Manager on duty) had to be trained in every aspect of the stores operations as the title manager implies that they are able to manage all aspects of the store... Not a sufficient explanation, currently waiting on a store manager response and will keep this updated... However me and my family will not spend a single red penny with walmart after all that foolishness and a payday loan to get a few groceries and my family that includes a 7 month infant home... Thanks walmart, between corporate botching the hours on google, and the store associates misinformation or lack of communications between said team lead and the person operating the phones the trip ended up costing me about $60 between interest and lyft rides, which is silly af cause i was holding a $1200 check that I planned on spending at least half of not the majority of during the trip... Better spent with amazon I guess, Kinda knew that, not sure why I waist my time and money, walmart getting to be experts at waisting time anyway... Update 8/26, no response from the store manager regarding the incident, called walmart customer care the incident has been escalated to the market manager to follow up on since the store manager seems to express the same lack of care and concern for its customer base and communication both in the company as well as forward facing towards the customers that keep the lights on, as the original team lead that was in charge of the store at the time of the incident... This will be updated as the situation evolves as it is my desire to make sure no person or family finds themselves in a similar position stranded because of lack of care and communication...

WalMart in Chalmette, Louisiana is among the best places to shop, worth the ride just east of New Orleans. The store is neatly kept, well-staffed with helpful folks and is not usually crowded. A once a month trip there for savings also exposes you to the latest new products available. Produce always fresh, as well.

They have the best cakes ever you come to New Orleans make sure you stop there

I drive all the to St. BERNARD Parish to this Walmart because they have fully stocked shelves and you get in and get out!

Close to home, prices and products are great. Easy check out, love the self checkout fast and easy.

Needs more cash-ears...maybe part time, but man there is a big deal with getting out fast.... This is makes it hard to find a parking spot..

This store is ridiculously unbelievably super unorganized 20 registers only self checkout is always open if I could post a piy to this review you would see what Im talking about.. associates standing around looking lost and no concern about customer service on opening registers to relieve the massive congestion in this store..And this is not only today but a daily basis because I am a daily shopper here...but Wal Mart headquarters of your listening please help

Walmart is a one stop shopping store. Meaning its convenient. But, I am a meat person, I prefer not to have my meats prepackaged. I always look for freshness and quality.

Customer service is horrible. Managers dont know how too respond too customer complaints about their cashiers, and are just as rude. When ask to speak with someone over the managers theyre never available. Walmart just need to close down or give them proper customer service classes.

They do Not answer the phone. Called both numbers and let it ring for 10 minutes, both times.

Easy to get in and out of if you go on a weekday. Low prices. Closer than Costco for New Orleans Bywater people.

The lines was to long for all the people that was in line for over hour.I dont think thats fair to the customer especially the older people. Thats why you are losing customer because the service is poor and yall need more clerk.

It was not crowded ar all and reasonable easy and fast to get in and out.

Its Walmart....they did have an interesting beer selection. They did not have ice or dry ice which I needed.

I did give this a 4 star rating, but my experiences at this store the past 6 months left me very unimpressed. Products in the toy isles are rarely restocked for boys. I would strongly recommend toy collectors to view this store maybe twice a year, because thats how bad it is. Also, check out lines are a joke. Around 16 automated stations are always full with people with large baskets and out of the 20+ manned registers, only 3 people man them. Its painfully slow to check out here. If there was an option to give 0 stars I would. Hire more people to check out your customers Walmart if you want a better review.

I dont visit this Walmart often but it was nice. Had everything I needed. Didnt have to wait in line very long, and the cashier Mrs. Lisa was friendly. I love how she pack my groceries.

I went in to use the Coinstar machine.After getting the Coinstar receipt which clearly states Redeem today with any cashier at this store i went to pick up a couple items, and went to check out.At this point i was told they no longer redeem Coinstar receipts at any register, and that i have to go to money services but money services are closed, and they can not do anything about it. I was pointed to the on duty manager who told me the policy changed, got no apology, and when i suggested they put up a sign on, or around the machine to let people know they have to go to money services she told me that was not possible, and the only sign they are allowed to put up is if it is out of orderI called corporate when i left the store who told me they should have cashed out the receipt at the register, and that she is sending in a ticket.

It was the normal walmart experience. Long lines at checkouts, 75 checkouts available, 6 are open.

Theres always a wait no urgency about serving the customers. The line drags no matter how short it is and the floor staff especially managers/lead person ignores you when you ask a question and when they do assist you its nonverbal you are not sure what is going on. I truly dislike going there but I was accompanying someone.

Was able to get the things I needed for my nieces birthday party but it took a while to navigate the people between aisles. Walmart should have at least one register to every 20 customers but only 8 registers available and 2 were self checkout that I couldnt use a card on. 30 minutes to shop but 42 minutes to get checked out. Hire the unemployed please.
