Waited over 30 minutes for the food. Then had to return it because it was cold. Would give zero stars but the waitress was nice

This restaurant is always pleasant. From the way youre greeted when you walk in the door to the way your thanked for your patronage at the end of your stay. Its the reason I keep coming back. 😊The food is delicious and usually comes out of the kitchen looking just like the picture in the menu. The waiters are always nice and friendly, and so are the cooks.. I love this place.

Good food and service at a decent price. Some breakfast places serve food so heavy it leaves me ready to take a nap, but I felt satisfied and light after eating an omelette combo here.

I had eaten at Carols years ago I went with my job. I always enjoyed the food there and I plan to take my wife there for dinner tomorrow which will be Thursday. Look very much forward to it the people with real nice and the food was real great.

Thr staff here were absolutely the best Ive encountered since the pandemic started. Everyone was friendly. The food was delicious. Our waitress, Daisy, stole the show. She was the best waitress Ive had in years. I highly recommend this Carrows.

Tell others why you loved this place? Well, I do like Carrows but one shouldnt fool oneself with what theyre getting into when they go there. They do post the calorie amounts and things of that nature on their menus but you know, that just goes to show that this is a place thats targeted for oh, well, older people who want to feel that theyre you know not pigging out but probably are. It is american diner style kind of food. The people who serve you are Pleasant the people behind the counter are decently pleasant too but distracted and busy which is understandable. Im saying everyone does their job competently well and I have never been mistreated there. The food is what it is. Certain dishes are made in a way that depending on when you were born you may or may not want to eat. Other things you know, anyone can eat. But dont blame the place if you dont like what they serve, for instance I know that their sandwiches are good the cold ones and so I order something like that and my experience is good. Dont expect this place to compete with their burgers or fries or onion rings as that would be foolish. You go to a place like arrows because its generally in your neighborhood, its open late, and its been there forever. If I were to be really thinking about it, Im not entirely certain theyd really earn a five more like a 4.5 or even a 4.3 just because its not the kind of food I would generally eat but thats not their fault you know so in terms of what they do, as theyre nice the foods you know what it is and the place is generally clean, for those reasons its a five.

Been going here since I was a child. Its the go to family friendly restaurant in South Pasadena. Theyve been in business for over 20 years. Just had brunch here today and the quality of the food as well as the price was still absolutely fantastic. Much better than your typical Ihop or Dennys. Its a chain but feels like a family owned business. Got the banana cream pie as well today and boy was it delicious. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and you as well.

Prime rib after 11 on Sundays. The prime rib is quite tasty here and its a pretty good deal. If you are in the mood for prime rib but dont want to pay too much I would suggest heading over to Carrows. If that is not what you want, there are plenty of really good breakfast options and wont break the bank.

We go there often and see some of our friends there. Their service is prompt and courteous. This is not a fancy place but their booths are comfortable and clean. I like to take a booth near the windows as it gives a nice view of a great mural on the wall. They are usually very quick to take your order and it arrives shortly thereafter. Their omelets are delicious as are their waffles with strawberries. Their prices ate reasonable.

This is my first time and its similar to Denny’s. The price is a little cheaper and moderately delicious. Because it is American food, it has a strong salty taste. There are often staff members who ignore foreigners who are not good at English. The restaurant staff is friendly.

Marcia is the best waitress Ive had so far. She has such a wonderful attitude and presence, very nice and friendly. Marcia had me and my mom laughing the whole time we ate at Carrows. When all the restaurants are busy in South Pasadena, we will come here for good basic food. Never had trouble getting a table during dinner time. Nothing fancy but, we usually get good service and a satisfying meal. My wife likes the 55 and over Fish and Chips special and the corn bread that comes with it is pretty good. I have had the pastrami sandwich, club sandwich, and the BBQ Burger in the past and they were all good. We had the banana cream pie the other day and it was amazing.. Very nice little place.

The turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, cranberry, stuffing, and creamed spinach was on point. The turkey was juicy and right portion amount. The cornbread was huge and tasty. Service was great. Pricing good.

Felt ignored, when we walked in only 1 person was working seating, taking orders, accepting payments, and probably cooking also, I dont know what type of crowed they are use to, but service was bad, the shakes were bland I ordered the advertised mint shake, might as well ordered the vanilla because it had no mint flavor just some green food coloring squeezed on top of the whip cream. Sorry but it was a so bad we left after the milk shakes.

We had dinner. All 3 of us did not care for our food. Had lemon chicken, pot roast and meatloaf dinners. Sides were good however all the protein portions were bland and dry. Excellent service and nice atmosphere.

Its okay for diner food.Youll probably have better luck if you stick to foods that dont require much finesse (burgers, sandwiches, salads, chicken dishes, etc) and the prime rib is actually not too bad.One thing I emphatically cant recommend, though, is the meatloaf - it tasted like a TV dinner.

Cant beat the well prepared Prime Rib for $14.99 here, actually twice or three times the cost elsewhere. Only available after 4 p.m. But well worth the wait, cooked and prepared how you order it. Becky and Arturo are the best servers there after 4p.m.

It was actually better than I thought! I got a steak and scampi pasta dish and it was so good at a great price! I also got a side salad and their ranch is bommmmb. Kimberly...I think her name was...was polite and prompt. I took a piece of cheesecake home (like i need it) but it was so good too...not sure if they make that in house but whatevs.

Good and healthy food, great service, fair price, wheelchair accessible, designated handicap parking, with handicap accessible restrooms. Wheelchair users can eat at the counter if desired, and portable tables have chairs that can be removed if needed. Theyll do their best to accommodate the disabled so all feel welcomed whether disabled or not.
