One thing for sure they need to have better customer service in the service dept I have been thier before a few times some service advisor s don’t seem to care what goi g on with ur vehicle like they are bothered by u taking it in for service when I know somthing is not right with my suv somthing is wrong . The service advisor had the nerve to tell me I’m just looking for somthing to be wrong with it….really ??? U think I go thier for fun it’s the last place I want to be at when I’m driving a new car.
Sorry but if you mark up a vehicle $7500 over msrp because COVID caused a shortage then you are a horrible greedy dealer. Other dealers have no mark up.

They’ll run your credit through 4 different companies even if you tell them not to. I went to them with an approval loan through the company of my own choice and terms I already wanted. All Penske needed to do was contact the company with the approval code info and car info to start the process. I told them this. I told them not to run my credit. I have a friend that sales cars, she told me the whole scam of certain loan companies will allow the dealer to charge higher interest but pay the difference from what the buyer would pay. So I did all the loan work myself so my credit didn’t get ran many times and lower my score. Welp... they still ran my credit through 4 other banks and didn’t tell me. Of course I used the loan I already had situated to buy the car. Later I checked my credit and that’s when I found out the did exactly what I told them not to do. Hard headed mother******. They car is nice tho!
This place loves to give people false hope for there car to be done on the day they say it will be. They don’t not like to honor there warranty to see a customer happy. They rather play childish games and not hold up there end of a service needed. I will never buy a car from Penske Cerritos or authorize any customers to purchase or take in for a service there until they realize that respect is worth more then money.

I usually get good service but this time I felt they were only trying to get money out of me. Very dishonest guy, David Tach, lied and schemed on me, and the manager, Riley, allowed it. I wont be going back there.
Customer service was pleasing, work done in a timely manner, communication with me good, pricing for items was reasonable. Labor was costly. Thank you for your speedy service.
4 hour wait for oil change. Moved their location without informing me. Went to old location to find out they moved. Still have old location on web site. Not very organized due to possible $ cut backs.

I have been here to service my truck about 4 times for recalls and oil changes. Service time has always been reasonable. I only have one complaint. I have interacted with 5 different service advisors. 2 out of the 5 were very pleasant. The other 3 seemed like they hated there job or just didnt like people I couldnt tell. The interaction was basically what do you want, whats your phone number and bye. My most recent advisor was great.
Dont like dealing with car salesmen and this place of business reminded me once again why I dont. Dont recommend it to anyone. Spend your money somewhere else. Too long of a story to put it in here. Whatever you decide to do, at least you were warned.
This place doesnt even deserve a 1 star. Took my mother in laws Saturn Outlook in for service this weekend, just wanted an oil change, because the Change Oil Light Was on, and wanted them to check my check Engine light that was on as well. Took the truck in at 8am and at 12pm Ric Colangelo comes out to us and says do you want the bad news first or do you want the bad news first. He tells us we need a new transmission and two new tires and 3 other stuff done to the car and its gonna cost $7,890.00. To let him know if we want it done, hell be in the office. Really! This car runs great and the tires are less than a year old. I tell this Ric just do the Oil change and were taking the car somewhere else for a second opinion. Then he says what oil change you didnt say you wanted an oil change. (Really!) That is why i came here. He was a total idiot and I hope my mother in law finds another place to take her car. Obviously they dont know what they are doing.
This place is a joke, trying to buy a truck,sales department tell u they will give you discounts at the end they dont keep their word, wasted 1/2 a day trying to work out a deal,its okay because I bought a 2020 denali from penske torrance, no hassle STRAIGHT numbers they made a sale and made us happy, love my new gmc truck Denali thank you raymond!!!will not recommend cerritos go to Torrance better deals!
The service department needs a lesson in customer service. I went in for an oil change and they attempted to charge me a higher price. I reminded them they had an online special for $59.99 so they asked me to show them the coupon which I did. When I picked up the truck, they asked me to show it again ! Also the shuttle driver was very rude and obviously was not interested in being there. The entire team should go visit the first class service at Cerritos Nissan down the street and learn how to run their shop. I will not be going back.

Terrible customer attention at parts no one there to help you out been here 4X everytime had to wait for someone to come out of hiding from back this last time went to ask service desk for parts counter guy said theyd get someone was completely ignored when no one showed up for 5 more min after already waiting for 15 mins a mechanic walked right past me once on his way back was about to walk past me again like I was invisible till I asked if anyone was back there he said yes hed let em know he did & left 5 min later a guy walks right past me says nothing like at least Ill be right back to help you but nope not a word finally comes back after 30 min wait I finally get parts I needed, when I suggested a bell for letting them know we are here he said would not do any good im the only one here Wow
They dont care about the customer and just run you through like a number, they left a half empty bottle of water in my cup holder and did not vacuum the interior of my truck when I brought it in for a oil change. A 100 dollar oil change and you fill bad when you see how much they dont care. Im not sure if I Will give them a nother chance. Thank you for being so understanding if I dont come back.I
Customer service here is really bad . Operators sometimes dont even answer the phone . When you ask for a specific service advisor they quickly transfer the call without even knowing or checking that they are available. For example I called in to ask how much an oil change, and if the specific service advisor was in today? they scheduled me for an appointment .when I arrived the service advisor was not even at work they transfer me to a different service advisor who was completely unknowable on the history of my vehicle. Something really has to change at this dealership.

Service manager went out of his way to order a windshield for my 2003 GMC pickup truck. Was a bit pricey but was not obligated to purchase it. Customer service was great.

This place does not deserve any star they keep my car for 2 weeks I never returned the call just by text they told me that they were 2,600 when I told them that I already knew was wrong with it only to repair that part I told .i have to bring my car home in tow because did not guarantee that I would handle it and that they would not be held responsible for future damages i never ever recommend to go there .
They dont call you as soon as your car is finished. May take a while for just a simple oil change.
Although Carlos treated me very respectfully and listened to my concerns about my car, the mechanics were unable to fix the issue with my car. When the lease is up in a few months, well be returning the car, and leasing from another car company. Buick/GMC have let us down with their product, and their inability to solve the noise issue with our car.
My experience was both good and bad dealership and its employees were great but I ended up paying for my repair that had a recall on my 2003 Saturn Vue ignition I had it replaced in 2015 the exact same problem occurred apparently they replaced with another faulty ignition. Please explain why the consumer has to pay for faulty parts.
Got here when they opened and waited 30 min to get wipers. No apologies no offer to install them . Nothing.
Received the worst service experience by Manuel Salinas the service advisor .never go back to that service dept in Cerritos he had the wrong tech working on my car .he wasted my whole day waiting on it and not working on the problem I had with my new suv .i asked if I could bring it in another day and have the foremen tech look at it and advisor told me the rubbery crunching noise it makes is normal .his not a service tech to tell me it’s a normal noise .the tech that worked on my suv took test drive with me and heared the same noise but couldn’t tell me where it’s coming from .i have to say i took my suv to Simpson dearship best service ever advisor thier and shop foremen heared the rubbery crunching noise it made as I accelerated and turn .they told me it’s not normal .they put me in a warranty rental right away .it took simpson 2days to pin point where it was coming from and they found the cause of problem and replaced defective part .very happy no more rubbery crunching noises .now I could enjoy driving my new suv with out the irritating noise

Horrible service. Took 5 days just to tell me whats wrong with the car. Would not offer a rental. Service associate would not return calls for three days. Manager ignored calls as well. Will never ever take my car here again !
