The supervisor Trisha is the BEST! She has a way of speaking with people and she is of great help to any questions or concerns I had with my patio set purchase. She answered all the questions I had and knew why she was talking about! Such a helpful person and im only coming back to this Home depot for her and Robert near the plumbing section. Robert is a mature African American and was tall of structure, he was very helpful with all the questions I had about toilets and its parts and bidets...i mean he taught me everything from top to bottom and was with me for about 30 minutes instructing me and teaching me....such a kind soul... I couldnt even tip the guy for his knowledge and time. All in all both my patio set and my toilet situation was both a success with these beautiful awesome people. Im such a drama queen but wow...i love this home depot lol. Note that these were two separate occasions... When I had a toilet issue and when I made a big patio set purchase.

I love this place always gives me great ideas for any part of my home and job the employees are fantastic ask for anything in particular and they know exactly where it is. Love that! Checking out fast and easy.

Horrible experience! Went to buy lumber the cashier Chelsea over charged us for a lumber she charged us for 7 when we only bought 6 pieces. We immediately told her she rang us up for 7 instead of 6. Instead of taking the extra lumber off our check she immediately gave us an attitude. Told us we needed to go to the refund cashier instead and continue to insult us by saying it’s only a dollar and that if we stacked our lumber nicely she would of rang it right. We too her it didn’t matter how much it was and that we did not appreciate her attitude. If you want to be respected while spending your money do not go to this Home Depot. Note we stacked our lumber as neatly as we can with all the tags on one side and we spent over $100 in lumber.

This is the closest Home Depot I can find so it will be the only one I go to. Its nice and everything is extremely well organized. I havent reached the Home Depot part of my life yet so I know nothing about the potential impact it could have on the do it yourself part of my life, but I am looking forward to it. The best thing anyone can do is learn to do something the right way and I admit, that even though I may have an idea about how to do what I want to do, I have no clue how to even begin. In my head I think desk and what pops up is that I need a long, flat, rectangular piece of wood and supporting that just 4 even sized pieces of wood underneath. In my head its perfect, but I can also see how horrible it is at the same time. Home depot has an excellent outdoor section and a good sized section of how to get rid of pest of the flying variety both for indoor and outdoor. Every time Ive been here I found what I wanted right away and left right away. My favorite way to shop. The staff is very helpful and I will be coming back.

Stopped to pick up some paint and ordered 3 g the person that took my order seemed new, he said they were out of stock of base needed, Glenda heard and took the time to check stock and found the base needed, thanks to Glenda I saved easily a couple of hours looking for the base at another location.Thanks Glenda for great customer service!!!AM

Went to Home Depot Cerritos to buy tile and other bath remodeling necessities and asking for help 3 times plus requesting a manager and getting no response after waiting around like idiots we walked out and will buy from a local tile place with great help!

They had everything I needed and very nice, helpful people. Its one of my favorite stores to go to.

Electrician saved me by making it super easy to order electrical wires.

You know I was about ready to buy about $3,000 worth of tools. I asked customer service to please get me someone from the tool department to help me because they have everything locked up. 30 minutes went by no one showed up. I asked again, no one showed up.. so I left.

Using the Home Depot app is a plus. It show the aisle AND the bay. Walmart could learn a lesson from Home Depot s organized app.

Shout out to Dale in plumbing, for helping me with hookups for my dishwasher.

All the women associates are very helpful, friendly. The men are not helpful at all. The women always ask can I help you. I found 2 items I wanted. I have to either chase a man asso.or walk up to him and asked for help. Not a very good experience for me. They need to retrain ......

Home depot employees are knowledgeable and guided me to complete my job with hands on practical help, most of time than Lowes

This Home Depot I have notioced does not have a good selection of anything. When I go to other Home Depots I see lots of things I didnt even know they sale becuase the Cerritos location is so limited.

Love this place. They usually have what I need. Sometimes getting assistance is tough. It depends on the department. Staff knowledge is hit or miss depending on the department, but they do their best. I have to say the parking there can get a bit crazy. Its tight ! an accident waiting to happen. The reason I bring this up is most of us are on a mission to finish a project and are mentally distracted so just be slow and cautious when backing out.

This Homedepot is always busy in the weekends. During weekdays its not to bad. Usually well stocked and clean. Overall its a one of the better home depots.

Employees are to busy talking and every isle is blocked, there is no way getting through with a cart! It was a big maze and the set up is horrible, usually go to Lowes but they didnt have item so was forced to go here! Definitely isnt a first choice 😕

They have all the product related with coninstruction, my jobs run smoothly since Ive no delays on deliveries 🙂

This place has everything you would need for any home project, sometimes it’s very populated with some rude people but it’s ok most of the time. The employees will help you if you ask.

I cannot thank Justin enough for helping with our Christmas tree trimming! It was so perfectly cut that it was able to balance on its own!!!! My son with special needs was in awe and enjoyed the pleasant conversation (its hard for him but Justin was so nice!) my mother was very happy to go home and have some extra trimming to make her own wreaths and Im super happy to get a great tree for an affordable price. This has become a tradition to get our trees here wish I could 10 stars 🌟 happy holidays!!

They had everything that I needed and with staff direction, I found it quickly. The only negative was that Harbor Freight was cheeper but they didnt have most of what I needed.

I went in to buy some drywall for a quick project, their employees just stood there and watched well my wife and daughter struggled to get a few pieces well i was getting the screws. When we got to the car it didnt fit by an inch and a half. I asked for a employee to help cut it with there box cutter. Everyone kept saying oh i dont have one or i cant leave the store with it. They made me buy one and do it myself. Customer service was horrible.

I am posting this on behalf of my co-worker Servando Burciaga who doesnt have a Google account in order to post. To say the least he has had a nightmare of a situation regarding the purchase of a washing machine at the Home Depot Cerritos store on June 13, 2021. Per Servando: I was told the washing machine was to be delivered June the 20th. It is June 25th and I still dont have the washing machine I purchased. I called the customer service on June 21 and I was told it was re-scheduled for delivery on the 21st. As of that day still no washing machine. On June 22 my son went and talked to a customer service rep and there was no update it still showed delivery for June 21. The rep said it isnt Home Depots fault. Yes it is because Home Depot contracted out that delivery service to represent them. I have had enough and I went to the store June 24 and asked for my money back and to cancel the delivery. They only gave me the warranty money back and the rep said they couldnt refund the money for the washing machine until it was back in the warehouse. F*ck that mess. What if the delivery people stole the machine or it was stolen off off of the truck. I will never buy a big ticket item from Home Depot ever again. It looks like I will have to go to court and file a small claims action against Home Depot to get my money back. Horrific service.

I want to give the gentleman from the garden department a big high 5 for his great customer service I didnt get his name ..tall has tattoos he was helping me look for a wooden pot, pricing. Even though he was busy doing his duties..he responded very kindly and helped out right away! That service is Awesome! HOMER BADGE !!

Home Depot has a kids workshop every 1st Saturday of the month, come rain or shine. Everything is provided free. Ive actually been doing this since my own kids were little, about 25 years ago. Its a great and safe activity to do with the kids.

Went to home depot in cerritos, bought a washer and dryer, + a refrigerator. First the sales associate was very rude, and disrespectful, but he has called my wife and said that the transaction did not go thru, and it did go through that day, I dont know whats going on, I feel were being profiled. His name is Dave I think, he works in appliances. He is giving your store and company a bad name. My name is Frank Sykes, the transaction was under my wifes name of Ingrid Christian, spoke to store manager, said she would call, never did call back. What is taking place, you guys have the paperwork and receipt. If this gonna be a problem, reverse the transaction, we can go somewhere else. He comes in after 1 pm.

Good service, good products and you can find main brands in tools, very organice easy to find what you are looking for with good prices..

Had an unpleasant experience with cashier.Prior to going to Home Depot I withdrew cash from an ATM at a nearby CVS and I received three $20 bills which were taped from the middle of the bill.I tried paying with those bills at Home Depot and they called a supervisor to check the bills. The bills were legal but they didnt e them because they had a strip of clear taped in the middle of the bill. I tried showing them my ATM receipt but they didnt even want to see it.

Went it looking for a specific tile and as much as I could get since it was on sale. Jimmy saw me walking towards the flooring area and greeted me even before I asked for his help. He had to grab an entire pallet down with a fork lift to then help load all the material onto my truck. Great and beyond customer service, Thank you!

Manager was a rock star. We never received an email letting us know our order had arrived to the store. We spoke to the manager and she sorted it out. She was able to locate our order (it had been canceled and ready to return) and had her awesome staff load it into our truck. Thank you!!!!

Always find what I am looking for at The Home Depot in Cerritos, Ca.

Almost everything was good except the paint department. I realized it is not the employee fault because they were under staff. I felt sorry for the girl that was working there. I was standing there for 1/2 hour waiting to be help and there were 2 ladies waiting with me too. I already had the style # of the paint I need . So my opinion is that they should be staff right. Other than that everything else was great.

I frequent Home Depot often when I’m working on a project around the house and usually visit the location off valley view and Lincoln. Due to convenience, I went to the other Home Depot location in Norwalk, off alondra because it was on the way home from where I was. I regret making that decision because it ended up consuming more of my time, plus the frustration with how terrible the experience was in its entirety. The customer service is something that doesn’t exist at this location.It’s shocking how a huge corporation like Home Depot, would have two stores within a couple miles from Each other be so vastly different. You’d think that one of the largest businesses in this nature, with stores all over the states would have consistent management teams, service, policies and would be on the same page.There were a plethora of employees scattered all over the store in their easily identifiable orange vests. Most employees were paired up with another employee/‘friend’, sometime groups of 3 chit chatting, flirting with each other. It was almost as if I was interrupting their social conversations when I needed assistance or direction to what aisle my item could be found in. I didn’t want to be in the store any longer than needed. Not only because of the lack of assistance I received, misdirection of where the employees incorrectly pointed at for me to find the item. They were too lazy to escort me over to the section and/or too invested in the conversation they were in that I so rudely interrupted. The icing on the cake confirming that I would not return to this horribly run Home Depot was being harassed by other patrons in the store. I don’t have patience for men following me up and down multiple rows. I am Not interested and don’t want to collect business cards or fliers advertising their private companies to do handy work. I just wanted to get what I needed, leave and carry on with my Wednesday.When I arrived home, I had a few minutes to set up my purchase before company arrived. The box didn’t look pre-owned and It didn’t even cross my mind that I needed to check the new item purchased for missing parts or that it was previously used, but I wish I would have. I opened the box and didn’t see the instruction manual. The only thing in the box was a used and broken bug zapper, a small plastic piece that was thrown in the box loose and tons of dried dead bugs. 🤮

***THIEVES****Sadly Ive been a shopper at this location for many years. But I was deeply disturbed by how they treated my Mother with a situation that required a refund for $500. After giving her the run around they never got back to her and the money never showed on the card. We are exhausted going in circles trying to get an update on the situation and no one will reach out to us. I will be finding out what corporate channels to reach if no one makes contact with us soon. At this point the money isnt even the issue. They laughed at her face when threatened legal action. We have receipts bank notifications and an investigation open. I can belive the blatant disregard. They simply do not care. Dont be surprised folks if this review sits here unanswered and unattended.

I thought all the HOME DEPOT priced matched? Well they dont!!!, and worse of all they where trying to give me a 10% discount on a BROKEN tool box

Dont have your tools locked up if your not going to have employees to unlock them. Waited 30 min and had 3 different employees call over the speaker for the tool section employee. No one covering tools or hardware terirble service. Think itd be easier to spend money.

Went to the tree lot with my family in order to get a fresh wreath. Their was some issue with the scanning device where it couldnt read the bar code. The employee named Carlos with a very unenthusiastic tone and attitude asked us could you guys just get another one, to which we replied us. With him saying yes just go get another one. And all at the same time another employee simply stood there and watched him struggle to provide basic customer service. This may not seem as a major issue. But the attitude and environment altogether was a total buzzkill for it being the holiday season. Be better, it sucks for everyone right now. Dont bring others down with you.

Terrible experience with buying a washer and dryer. When they were delivered the delivery guys refused to hook up my appliances and did not deliver all of the parts that were supposed to come with the appliances. When I went to the store noone apologized for the inconvenience and noone tried to help resolve the issue. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM GO TO LOWES.

Hope depot is famous for gardening according to me. Because I did buy several times here. All those items are for gardening only. This made my work easier to grow the plants and providing proper plant food. This is highly recommended to others who are looking for gardening and all. You can try this.

I started the order for 2 security doors. They call you to schedule someone coming out to measure. They have lots of cleaners in case you need to pick something up while you are there. They sell flowers, bottled water, of course lots of things to help with home improvement projects. 😉

Poor service by cashier instead of finishing my transaction left me waiting while she started helping someone else.

The aisles are too cramped and unorganized probably one of the lower end home depots around I live close to it but instead I go 10 miles out of my way one way to go to Lowes in Long Beach Towne center but its cleaner and more organized and I found a lot of the packages they have been returned and parts messing and they put them back on the aisles that has happened to me a lot

I went around 10am today 10/03/2020, the people that were working at the paint section were not helpful, not friendly. and not knowledgeable. Only one worker (male) who worked at the afternoon (the other week) genuinely helped me.

The Home Depot would normally get five stars because of its selection of hardware and good checkout times. But some of their isles are so narrow that its impossible for two shopping carts to pass each other without getting tangled up with each other. Its a cheap way to save shopping space at the expense of annoyed customers. And it actually makes it harder to get around the store and find the things we are looking for! The tool section is one example. A n.v d so I purchase my tools elsewhere!
