Extremely terrible customer service and Unknowledgeable staff. I called 10/20/21 this past Wednesday to ask about a Surefire Warden, the female who answered the phone was to busy laughing that it took her a sec to say hello, not thank you for calling Ammo bros or something just straight HELLO I proceeded to ask for that part and she said what’s that is that a flashlight? I answered no its a muzzle attachment for the Surefire warcomp, right away she answers no we don’t have that, I replied are you sure because you didn’t know what it was about a second ago and now your so sure that you don’t have it, I said ok and without asking me if there was anything else I needed she hangs up! People like that give businesses a bad rep

I had gone into the store on 12/15/2020 to place an order on a Mossberg 590 tactical. After waiting 90 days and no response, I went back to the store on 3/19/2021 to cancel the order I had placed. Before I canceled the order, I walked around the store and I saw that they had a couple shot guns on display, I didn’t think much of it. After I finished cancelling the order I got in line and asked to see the shot guns on display only to find that the exact gun I had been waiting for was on display. I told the worker and he agreed it was their mistake. I proceeded to buy the shotgun again and start the ten day wait. When they charged me for the gun I realized they charged me $110 extra for the exact same gun. (When I placed the order on the shot gun I had payed $475 and when I bought the gun from display it was $585). When I came in after my 10 day wait, I told one worker about it and he said the price went up because “gun prices went up by 40% in early January, and the manager can’t do anything about it”. I think that response wasn’t valid because the price went up by $110 and that’s no where near 40% of $475. When I went to the registers, I asked to speak to a manager, either a lead or assistant manager helped me. I explained to him my situation and before I was done explaining, he said “there’s nothing we could do”. After continuing to try to explain to him my situation, he cut me off by saying “the most they could do is meet me half way for the refund”. I left the shop still paying $55 extra for a problem they had messed up on. After this, I really recommend going to Gun Effects instead, definitely worth the drive.

The manager refuse to price match an item when all other competitors around were selling an accessory not a gun for $20 cheaper. Told me If its cheaper there go buy it there. So I did. Went here because it was closer and wanted to give local stores some buisness. Oh well customer service is dead.

First time at this Ammo Bros and have to say, great experience. The situation during the pandemic has made many stores become very busy, so people need to have patience and relax a bit. Went there for a PPT today and they had plenty of workers, everyone was safe, and they worked as fast and efficiently as they could. Great experience here just like at the Ammo Bros in Santa Ana, which is the one I would normally go to due to being in Orange County.

Well nothing in stock, ask a question and they look at you as if your are to be well informed on guns as they should be, would be very uncomfortable for a first time buyer.. the girls there looks as they are under pressure from the manager or boss? Going to Ammo Brothers is like playing the lottery some employees have great customer service. But others make you feel uncomfortable they are very dry and rude. I over heart one employee switch customers with another employee because the customer had a Hispanic name. Probably he hasnt realized that 90% of the customer are Hispanic.

First, I took a gun safety class and then I went to Ammo Brothers Cerritos to purchase my first weapon. Luckily, I work in the area so I could see when the lines were manageable. They confirmed that the gun I wanted was a suitable choice for me and then went over the features with me. I was also able to compare a couple of similar guns to make sure that I would be happy with my purchase. They were super helpful and extremely easy to work with. Because of the pandemic they had to order the weapon I want as they are out of stock on it. I highly recommend this store. They are really knowledgeable. Looking forward to receiving my Glock 19.

This place is terrible, long lines, and terrible customer service. I came in the first week of July and purchased a handheld and shotgun. The handheld came in at the beginning of sept and the shotgun never came in but I had to wait 90 days to get my $500 refund. I took the test and paid for the certificate and lamination, they forgot to sign it so I had to do it again, no fee but again, really?Came to pick up my gun and was told I had to do the background check, even though I paid I had to drive back out, stand in line and wait, 3 hours later we left.Came back to pick up my gun and was informed, only because I emailed to confirm, that I had to do another background check as the one I took only lasts 30 days, including the grace period.I would NEVER have purchased from here knowing there is a local place in Simi Valley, no lines, great care and follow through.

The people are nice here so I dont want to give a lower review but I bought a handgun online not knowing the long lines that await me. Took almost an hour waiting outside and even more inside. Its a slow painful process that takes the fun away from getting a new firearm.

Purchased a shotgun on-line and had it shipped from another location to the Cerritos store. Couldnt get into the store to pick it up due to the long lines caused by the pandemic. Kept calling the Cerritos store and they assured me they had my SG and would wait for me to pick it up. When I went to pick it up I was told they inadvertently sold it to someone else. When I refused a different less expensive replacement, they made me wait around 90 minutes before issuing me a refund. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Staff is extremely rude, they stare at you the entire time your in the store but hey I guess because Im black. Will never shop here again ammo well overpriced this place needs to rehire staff or just close location completely.

Well theres a couple of cons and a couple of pros. What I did like is that they had the AR i wanted in stock and if i wanted something out of stock they were willing to order it for me if i put down 20% of retail price as deposit. They were also very quick with the paper work and surprisingly answered my phone calls that month to check dros status. What i didnt like was the longass line and 1.5 to 2 hour wait just to buy something. Also they didnt have ammo for my weapon when i bought it, they should set aside at least 2 boxes for people who are buying a gun, they are also a big store so idk why they wouldnt order more ammo like some of these other shops like lax ammo. Considering covid and the ammo shortage i believe its a decent shopping experience overall and would recommend as long as you go prepared with all your documents and with plenty of time, preferably a day off and early in the morning b4 opening time.

Picked up my 1st gun here, I was in line an hour early, took almost 2 hours before I can go inside, another hour to finish everything up. Came back 2 weeks later to purchase more ammo, spent 2 hours in line just to be told they ran out of particular ammo 2 days prior. They dont answer the phone so no way to know if they have it in stock. When youre outside, you cant even ask any staff if they have what you are looking for at least you dont have to waste each others time. So now I go to LAX ammo, you can email them and they can reserve the ammo you need or order it for you then email you when its ready to be picked up.

If you come here, try to come when they arent too busy, and head straight to the sign in sheet. Once they buzz you in youre kinda on your own unless you already know the drill. They have a decent selection of guns, and a ton of accessories and supplies. But the staff just gives off this bad vibe as if youre bothering them. I wanted to hold a Glock 30 to get a good feel for it and see how it compared in my hand to my Glock 23, but they only had one in the LEO Only case. I have no idea why this G30 was banned in California, he said it has a high capacity magazines, whatever, he wouldnt even let me hold it. I get it, California is strict, but take out the magazine if thats all thats preventing me from holding an otherwise legal G30. I wouldve probably ordered a California legal version, but not without knowing what it feels like. I think they just wanted to keep moving down the list, it wouldve only taken a minute or two. And yes, Ive purchased a firearm here before, I wasnt just there to waste their time. My best experience ever has been Western Firearms in Bell, but I moved from the area and Ammo Bros is just 5 minutes away, but man what a difference. Guy at Western was talking to us with no rush, then when I asked what time they closed he said theyd been closed for the last 30 minutes, he still never rushed us and never showed a hint of rushing me. Check them out and judge for yourself.

Waited an hour outside in line in the sun to sign in. After I signed in i was told to wait in my car and would be called. I waited another hour in my car then left. No Im not exaggerating..i waiting 11:20am to 12:23pm to sign in, then waited in my car until 1:20pm and left. They still have not called me and its 1:40pm and Im home now. I wonder if they will even call or was I supposed to just dehydrate in my car?Update they called me at 230pm fyi

Staff was friendly and helpful. Went there after Turners in Norwalk refused to allow me to get my FSC unless I purchased a firearm with them. I was there to do a transfer and take my test but Turners refused. I did my transfer and test at Ammo Bros. Line was long but moved quickly.

I really don’t understand the bad reviews here.? From my experience this was a excellent and professional shop to purchase a firearm. Times are crazy so do your research, know what you’re there for, have your paperwork ready and be prepared to WAIT your turn.

I was looking for a convenient place to buy ammo and other gun products when I discovered Ammo Brothers. However, like many other people, I always read reviews. This company has some really bad reviews, mostly concerning customer service and respect for your customers, and being fair and responsive when a customer has a problem. You dont respond to any of these reviews so you either dont even bother to read them, or dont give a hoot about the feedback. If you have any chance of continued success, youre going to have to read online reviews, listen to them, respond to them, and address those issues. As for me, and obviously many of your previous customers, and undoubtedly thousands who have read these reviews, we wont be back! Good Luck!

Worst experience I ever had with a gun shop. Drove over an hour just to get here, and they said they cant help me cause theyre at capacity, and there is nothing they can do. Maybe if they answered their phones I could have saved myself the headache and not wasted my time coming here. Even though they have what Im looking for, they lost my business, and Im never coming back. I was going to spend a bunch of money today, but Ill go somewhere that respects my time.

Save yourself the time and headache. I was put on there list and told to go inside I just needed to get something out real quick when I stepped inside I was told I have to go out and wait. I was on there list and they didnt seem to care one bit. was in line for over and hour after being told to go inside. I do not reccomend this place one bit I will fill a complain against them with the BBB.

Went in and wasted my time waiting till I just left the place after being ignored for over 30 minutes while they were only busy with just a handful of customers. I understand the times are tough but these guys are simply unprofessional children behind a counter that fall apart when times test them even a little. Take your business elsewhere and be in and out in 30 minutes not waiting aimlessly for these guys to figure it out.I did wind up emailing them with some of the rage from their terrible service and the children were happy to respond back with an attitude instead of addressing issues.

Worst service ever. Went in 25 days ago to get a Glock. Sales person told me they would get shipment in 2 days. Went ahead and placed the special order with them. Never received a call, after 4 days called and was told to wait for a callback. Waited 14 days called them and no response. No one is able to help me. Never got a call back and just had all that money stolen basically from a company that will not follow up with me. Wish I had gone with a different gun dealer. It’s been almost a month and with this whole pandemic I doubt I’ll get my order. Seriously go somewhere else and avoid this place.

Prices are definitely fair, the staff was friendly to me when I came in even though Im a young man. Hulk was even so kind as to help me back together a Springfield 1911 I bought from them. Always shop here now at least once every other week

Came by bought a Smith & Wesson MP Sport around 2017 put down a Deposit to have it ordered. Waited, payed it off completely and got a call that my Weapon had arrived. Went to pick it up turns out someone sold My Weapon to someone else. I cancelled the order and they kept my Down payment. Trying to sell me a Display. I had forgot my Permit and I had to email them a copy. I did and they said they didnt get it. Walked out with No weapon and a Lost deposit. The whole time the Manager is Mad at me because of their error. Your team called ME in to pick up my Rifle and YOUR team YOU Managed dropped the ball.

Really bad costumer service. Joseph left me a voicemail regarding my special order and to come in as soon as Im available. I left work early to get there before 2:30 and he told me to come back tomorrow to get in the list. He couldve mentioned that in his voicemail. He also tried denying that he called me before telling him that I still have the voicemail. I wont be coming back to any Ammobrothers location and I wouldnt recommend this to anyone.

Just save yourself the time and go to Turners Outdoorsman. During this time, what they lack is appointments for all services. I called to make an appointment and they said only if im picking up a firearm. So i got there at 11am. Ended up leaving like 12:30. I did not receive a call until 3pm, yet before I left the person before me in line was in there for about 30 min to just purchase ammo.If you call Turners in the morning they make same day appointments only!!!! i was in n out in about 20 min, and to purchase ammo these days thats pretty damn quick.BEWARE: They will let you in quick to buy a gun but they are extremely slow on receiving the firearm..... Will always go to Turners Outdoorsman from now on!!!

Its a good shop. They have a lot of firearms to choose from and carry all ammo reloads and new. I had to give it one star less due to one employee (older man) gave me an attitude because he could not properly explain the Private Transfer paperwork. All the other staff were easy going.

Like many others have said, no customer service. I understand and support the current covid restrictions so Im used to having to wait in line, things being out of stock etc however I arrived at 1pm on a thurs, 3 guys standing outside inline and they werent quite sure themselves how it was working but said they told us theyd sign us on a list and then let us in in order. Peaked my head in the door, @ 4 customers being helped by @ 5 employees, very large empty store, and one the employees said theyd be out soon to put us on a list. 30 mins later im still inline behind the same 3 guys, 3 more customers inline behind me and no employee has come out to say or do anything w us.LAXammo, big 5, OC indoor range, etc none these stores behave this way currently. Definetly a core problem w this stores customer service based on the ample bad reviews. Good luck.

Went today Sunday April 5th with my boyfriend to pick up his purchase and for me to apply for my permit. Waited since 6 a.m. because we wanted to beat the line. He had his paper work telling him to come on the 5th. Waited till 11:15 a.m. and no one opened the store nor was there anything stating they were closed. They still had signs posted that stated sundays it was from 10 to 4. So disappointed. Unfortunately he already paid. If your going to close then have the decency to post and call the people who were due for that day to pick up their purchase, ESPECIALLY if your the ones who gave that date to them. So mad!!!

GREAT BUSINESS! Honestly, you will be much better off getting to know your local firearms dealers and getting proper treatment. It could be you end spending 1 or 2%, but a better experience and supporting your local neighbor would be much more rewarding!

Prices are pretty standard but the staff is how this place really stands out! Andrew was really friendly, informed and helpful when other places were uninformed and rude (Turners). Ill make sure to be back and check out more of their gun accessories and supplies soon.

Love this place they are always so helpful,knowledgeable, and friendly..... however the last couple of times I was there there was this one guy( which I will not disclose his name due to hoping one day he will change his attitude) that has no customer service when its busy.... I understand your busy and frustrated but hey you choose to work there and you cant be disrespectful to customers because your busy I myself was treated like s!@# by him and then I stepped back and watch him give poor customer service and get such an attitude with another gentleman.. but other than just this one individual its the ideal place to go.... love ammo bros!!!!

Ammo bros seem to be busy no matter the time. I say good for them as it means they will be in business for a long time! The wait times are there for sure but if you grab a number when you first walk in you will do much better than browsing first.They always have a great selection and Ive never had anyone there be rude to me. I have even gotten answers when it wasnt my turn yet. Which may explain why the wait times can seem a bit much.For the most part their firearms pricing is superb and again the selection is there too. They can order an item if its not on the shelf too (they are a Barrett dealer). So if you need something thats not on the shelf, ask.I went to Ammo Bros. with a friend about a week ago and they were very busy as usual, but friendly. My friend ended up buying a firearm from them. The sales personnel assisted all the way through the myriad questions my friend and I had. The same individual handled the entire transaction from questions/answers to paperwork where he handed us off to another associate for the actual check out process. He was friendly and helpful as well as a bit apologetic about the time required for the California paperwork which we all love.All in all it was a good experience and I would recommend Ammo Bros. to all my friends.

This store is tucked away of a main street. Parking is ok. I have been here many times but I go during the week and so parking is not a problem. Plenty of accessories for your needs. Large store. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

They have a large gun seection and accessories. They are helpful but like other reviews, some of the guys dont seem very happy to work there which i dont get. But their reloads are pretty cheap and there weekly sales can be good. Over all its not the best but its not the worst.

Excellent service. would definitely recommend to anyone. I brought in my revolver with a couple concerns about cylinder timing and shaving lead. i was reassured by their gunsmith that my .357 S&W was in good condition and that everything seems to check out. I was made aware of things to look for and some services they provide if my gun does give me any problems.

Based on the reviews, people either like it or hate it. Occasionally I would get someone who is helpful. Most of the time the service is sub par. Occasional attitudes from the sales people. For the most part many are indifferent to providing reasonable customer service. Definitely there is a lack of urgency to help. I would recommend to do customer service training for the staff. These changes will yield higher sales and word of mouth advertising.

Would of had a 5 star reviews, but some of the staff insist that they are more rounded off when it comes to firearm knowledge and the items they carry. Arrived and explained IN DETAIL the items I was looking for and that the had over the counter. One member insisted that they didn’t have the ammo in stock, we went back and forth for 10min before another employee came over and pointed out that the ammo was behind him and theee was plenty in stock. Employee at the Counter, Elena I believe was her name apologized for the bad experience and encouraged that the next visit would be different. Appreciate her effort and great customer service. They should do a bit more digging when hiring employees and ensure that they are well rounded and not just there to punch in and punch out.

Every time I come here, Im totally brushed off, employees seem to avoid me for some reason... i hope its not racially motivated. But i have walked out multiple times of this store due to this REASON, besides that the place is very secure. Has big isles to walk thru. Prices are slightly higher than Turners. If you have 2+ hours to wait for help this is your place to be. Its right off the 605 freeway its a green building you cant miss !

Rude and when I walked into the store I called them and just to see the phone ringing and them ignoring it.Second, I purchase a S&W M&P2.0 back in NovemberThree weeks in and they never put my order in.A month later they told me it was placed and should be here within another three weeks. Three weeks later and no firearm. Same excuse for two months. Now my 90 days is approaching and no results. When I called they were rude and disrespectful. With two weeks left, knowingly, I will not get my firearm I have to wait for a full refund otherwise I’ll be taxed 20% on my refund.

Came here to check out there guns they have a large variety prices do vary but some deals are better than your local turners. They do have a nice layaway plan. Remember to sign in they do get busy . Guy who helped me was knowledgable and very helpful no pressure or felt like some condescending a hole annoyed with you. I will be coming back later to this shop to buy my rifle and some handguns .

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. You sign in and they forget about you. Even if you’re purchasing items other than Guns, you still have to wait until you’re called. We signed in, waiter forever and LEFT!! Will not be returning.

They are the worst. they never have anything in stock. the prices are insane. theyre just trying to gouge the consumer. when you call you can never get a hold of anyone. theyre not exactly knowledgeable in the firearms that are right for you, they just want to sell you something. ive gone there many times thinking the next time will be better... it never is. save the headache and go somewhere else.

Customer service is really bad, really couldnt give you a yes or no answer. And if the only person there to help you is tall obese guy, dont bother, youll just end up frustrated and wanting to punch the guy in the face. Honestly, just go to somewhere else

I have been to ammo bros multiple times and I have never had any problems with staff being rude or assholes. When I went in to make a private party transfer, aka, buying a gun off of someone else, the employees were courteous and not acting like jerks at all. When I go to buy ammo the staff are always friendly and always offer their advice on which ammunition brands are better in quality and pricing so I can get the best deals. Ammo Bros is great and as long as you arent acting like an ignorant jackass then they wont treat you like one.

I bought some ammo from them off gun broker. They sent me a form and needed a scan of my drivers license. They were in contact me because I did have a question. I then decided to change the shipment type to will call and they called UPS for me and changed the delivery type. The person on the phone with me each time was very friendly. They didnt have to call UPS for me as pomptly as they did but they did. Great experience.

I was looking for some ammunition for my glock 37 and they were the only ones that did have it in stock. Will definitely recommend thanks guys
