In the past I have gotten my hair cut here but never has it been this bad. I showed the stylist the stock photo and asked if I could have my hair like that. I also booked my appointment as a haircut and style, yet my hair was never washed nor styled. My hair was simply wet with a spray bottle and I left the salon with it wet. I didn’t have time to fully examine my haircut as I had work right after. And even so, why should I have to doubt the stylist? Shouldn’t it be correct? That’s the whole reason I go to a “professional” stylist!When I took a shower that night my mother realized that what the stylist gave was nothing like the stock photo. As you can see, the length is uneven and it resembles a wedge cut which is clearly not in the stock photo. Also, from the front the two sides aren’t even.I always look forward to getting my hair cut but I’m devastated. At this point there is nothing I can do to fix this and I feel hopeless. If I could, I would this business zero out of five stars. I am never returning to JCPenney salon and I would recommend anyone who values their hair to pick a different salon to visit.

They tried I guess. It should have been a pretty simple cut for $25 plus tip.

Paige did such an amazing job on my hair. After I ruined it from a terrible bleach a year ago, I decided to get it cut and conditioned. She didnt make me feel stupid for my mistakes nor did she try and cut it all off. She made sure I got a desirable length and gave me great advice to get my hair back to good health. Not only was she amazing at her job but she also carried great conversation and made sure I was taken care of while at her booth. I didnt feel like I was just a client, but like I was just hanging out getting my hair done with a good friend. I would 100% recommend asking for Paige when you go in. Once my hair is back in good shape Ill definitely be back for some highlights.

Mrs. Teresa is one of the best stylish in the area.My recently relaxed hair needed help. She thought out side the box and put her talents to work. My hair looks beautiful.I’m grateful for Dee, who works the front desk for having the for sight to direct me to a stylist that was best suited for my hair type.This salon is a Gem. Excellent products, friendly professional staff and a price that’s budget friendly. I’ve already scheduled my next appointment.

I was shocked to see any bad reviews on here but they are mostly old and maybe there was a management change. I chanced upon Audrey in an hour of desperate need because they took walk-ins. My color was amazing, cut was exactly as I asked. I wanted shorter bangs and thankfully she talked me out of it. Terri has also done my hair twice and I have loved it every time. Half the price of my old salon and same quality... Ill never go anywhere else again!

Cleanly, friendly staff, good atmosphere. I got an excellent hair cut. Would recommend jcpenny salon. I wish i would remember my stylist name to add to this review

Marcie is fabulous. She has done my hair for years. She listens to what you want And does exactly what you say. She is funny to talk to and cares about how you look. Love her.

Bri was amazing! My hair was a mess when I came in and she showed empathy and compassion for me and helped me to get this hair together. She gave good pointers and was just amazing. I will definitely come back. Highly recomend this stylist.

Kate absolutely hacked my sons hair. After going back the manager fixed it. However she needs a little more training.

Im not the kind of the person who leaves bad reviews but I had a very bad experience. I asked for my hair to be trimmed and to just make it more neat. The hair stulyst Rick didnt even hand me a mirror to see the back of my head. After I left I realized how bad the hair cut was . It looked like he gave me a bowl cut.... So I went back to get it fixed but now its worst than before . Theres a section in the back that looks like it has a chunk missing and I still have a bowl cut. I didnt want to cause a scene or anything so I left but I plan on following up with the manager.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a salon! I asked for a simple wash and flat iron, I was charged $50 and my hair looked awful. The lady who did my bad clearly had very little experience, it took her over 2 hours to do a wash and flat iron and I have short hair! When I left my hair was so oily and weighed down, I ended up going home to rewash and style it myself. I will never go to this JCPenny’s again!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and find a different salon.

Mens haircut was good. Price was a little high at $18 for a mens cut.
