This is a follow up.I have a W4500 Diesel truck which had a problem starting especially in cold weather. I was at several other places but the problem was never fixed. Ron was recommended to me by my regular auto repair guy who I trust but does not work on diesel trucks. Ron had it for the day and now it starts great. Will be using Mighty for my trucks.

Ron Sr. took me in last minute noticing I was in a jam with a past due inspection. Regardless of how busy him and his guys were he still took the time out to help out a complete stranger. I recently had my car inspection done at Mighty. It was quick and painless. Ron was very honest and only charged $10 for a safety inspection, because my car is new. He could have easily charged the $39, but was honest about it. That is a quality you dont find everywhere. I will continue to use mighty for all my car needs in the future. ( so will my husband)

Ron and his sons are all great people. Ive been bringing my diesel truck to him for several years now. He always gets my problems fixed and does it quickly and at a price that I can afford. He recently helped me out when I really needed it and I know 99% of most shops would never have done what he did for me. I absolutely trust them and would refer anyone I know to see them for automotive repairs.

I have been looking for a mechanic since I moved here and I finally found one..I have been burnt by Firestone in coram. I met the owner Ron today and had some issues with my lights found out its a electrical problem . After looking at it for an hour he found out he has to order a module. It will take a few days and he said he will have it done then. Did not charge me and gave me a fair price for the upcoming repair. Nice clean shop and very professional and friendly. I will be bringing all my trucks there in the future..

Love the service at this shop. I used to go to pep boys across the street and a former worker there told me to go this shop instead! So glad he did! Everyone is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Really just a great family business.

Wonderful staff, affordable prices! Im still a relatively new car owner and Ron was able to quell any anxiety I had about my car. He always made sure to communicate any issues with my car as soon as he found it and diagnosed/fixed it in a timely manner. Even encouraged me to chill out in the deli next door while my car was being worked on and promised me hed come and find me with any updates (which he did!)

My experienced at this place was awful. I had the wrong gas in my tank and asked the placed to look at my car. They told me that I needed an electric pump and were charging me $800 to fix it. I asked another shop how much it would cost, and the other shop gave me a better price, $600. When the other shop looked at my car, they told me I had the wrong gas and replaced it, I only paid $100 instead of $800. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!

Dont go this place. The only thing they want is stealing your money. Cam there for the inspection and told me at the very last moment that my window is too dark. They state law says 30% of tint is fine which mine is 30% and never fail the inspection over 6years. They said you cannot get tinted and will charge $200 to take the tint off.

I have nothing but great things to say about Ron and his crew. They are honest, fair and have kept my girlfriends car running for years. 220,000 miles! We drive here an hour from Lindenhurst, because we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great customer service, fast and thorough work. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I highly recommend Mighty!

I just brought my diesel truck there for the first time and my experience with them is very positive. They helped me out when I was in a jam so I plan on going back for additional work.

Paid over $500 for a repair that lasted less than a day. Brought it back and they wanted me to wait until they were less busy. Obviously their time/schedule is more important than the customers.

5.0 star rating 11/3/2016This is one of the last honest mechanics on Long Island. I grew up around this scene because my dad owned a shop, and I trust Ron as much as I would trust my own family. My 2010 Hyundai Elantra had 180,000 miles and the engine and transmission went. Time for a new car? No, because Ron found an engine and transmission for me with only 22,000 miles on it. As a recently divorced, single girl, this was heaven sent because I avoided a new car. My Hyundai is better than ever and will be around for another 180,000 miles. Workmanship is amazing, honesty is even better!

I went in for an inspection through a co workers recommendation for my 2012 Jeep Liberty. Ron and his staff were fast, efficient, and friendly. In a world full of cynical people, it has become increasingly challenging to find people you can feel a trustworthy rapport with. My experiences have led me to be very apprehensive of anything a mechanic says, simply because we do not know whos interest is really being protected.I can say that when I first took my vehicle to Ron and his team a couple of years back, they have since re-instilled my belief that there are good operating mechanics outside of a dealerships watchful eye. They were able to repair my transmission and many other routine repairs. To this day I currently still take my vehicle here.The prices are reasonable, but the craftsmanship is excellent. I have been using these guys for the last four years, I own a 2003 Toyota Tacoma and there are things that wear out, Mighty discount auto motive has been able to repair with no problems. I coasted out the same work out with a Toyota Dealership and they were always a couple hundred more, Im talking about major parts replacement. I also own a 2012 FJ cruiser. When other 4 x 4 truck shops blew me off or did not respond these guys were able to finish the job for me and a lot cheaper. Remember they are a business and need to make money but their work is second to none.Also, I have a friend that bought a 2003 Tacoma and the rear part of the frame that supports the bed cracked. They were able to re-weld and add more support, not too many shops would have taken that job on. So if youre looking for a automotive shop to maintain or major work done, these are the guys!

CROOKS !! DO NOT GO HERE !! My car initially failed the safety part of the inspection (done at another shop). Fixed the problem and came here to complete the inspection. I was told that my headlight was out and it would cost $60 to fix it even though i already had a bulb. Not to mention my headlight worked fine 24hrs ago.Told him to give me my car back which meant that my car failed inspection for the 2nd time. I jiggled the bulb connector and guess what my bulb is just fine, nice and bright. So now because of these crooks i have to pay $37 more instead of $10 because of their unscrupulous practices. If they could disconnect a bulb to fail a car for inspection so they can get their grubby hands on $60, imagine what they would do if they were under your hood. Fix one problem to create another.

Ive been using these guys for about 6 years doing my annual diesel inspection because they are the only shop nearby that works on diesels and is ford certified. I had a 6 yr/100k mile warranty that is now up and every time Ive called for an appt ive never had a problem and sometimes even calling the same day they are able to fit me in. Since my warranty is up they have done some work on my 2011 f250 which they did a great job unlike the Ford dealerships which ive had nightmares at. These guys get the job done in a timely manner. I take pride in my vehicles and hate leaving them at shops but I trust these guys and Ron Sr is always a pleasure to talk to. I will be taking my wifes car there in the future.

Although it costed me a hefty amount, they did take in consideration my limited funds and worked their magic around that. They not only fixed this issue but also went above and beyond in fixing other issues that the car was having at no additional cost.
