I consider three stars to be an average rating and that is being generous for the over priced and overly sweet carrot cake we received.We ordered a carrot cake from this location to celebrate a special occasion. The 6 inch cake with cream cheese frosting and a simple sentiment decorating the top came to just over $50.The cake was ready on time and we were excited to enjoy a slice when we got home.Unfortunately, the frosting was so sweet it over powered the spices in the carrot cake itself. Im not even sure it was cream cheese frosting to be honest. Even after I scrapped off most of the frosting, the cake itself wasnt all that great either.I would say this cake was comparable to anything you could get at a grocery store but at over twice as expensive, I will definitely not be going back to get more.

We purchased an assortment of a couple dozen cupcakes for a party we attended recently. The cupcakes here are truly among some of the best I’ve ever had. The cake is very moist and the icing is well balanced, delicious and not too sweet. There is a noticeable attention to a quality in these cupcakes and the customer service and pricing is excellent.10/10 would recommend

Super cute place with lots of variety. Four cupcakes was $16. Cupcakes were super soft and fresh still at 3 PM, and they all tasted really good! Had a positive experience and would definitely come back.

The cupcakes are great and my puppy thinks your pupcakes are a winner 🏆. I received excellent customer service when I walked into the shop. The cupcake is very fresh and the icing is very sweet. I hope that they can survive the pandemic because they are in walking distance from my favorite Chinese restaurant.

Simply wonderful experience. First and foremost, Jennifer was a delight to speak with and be helped by. We went over layout, cost, pickup, and she was able to get a cake ready for me in less than one week (which I am very grateful for). The cake was gorgeous (see photo below). But here’s the kicker……….. it was SOOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS!!! My son dove right in and I’m not sure he would have stopped if we didn’t make him! 🤣 The cake was so moist, and the frosting was the perfect amount of sweet. I’m so glad we had leftovers! The only cake experience I’ve had in Denver was my husband and I’s wedding cake from a very prestigious downtown bakery……it was disgusting and ridiculously priced for how it tasted…the point of that story is that not only was the Smallcakes cake beautiful, it was delicious and so affordable. The pricing surprised me. Thank you so much smallcakes for making my son’s birthday sweet!!!

I came in today to pick up my order and when I did I specifically asked for Jen and was met with Milla who came through the door and seemed to be really sassy she specifically said “I know” and walked away. Jen later came out with my order and was nothing but dealitful. I would never order from milla.

We recently ordered cake for a gender reveal and not only was it beautiful it was delicious! Staff was helpful, responsive, and they got the correct color in the cake! Also their cupcakes are pretty Bomb!

Visited Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamy for the first time on the late afternoon of 04/24/21. When my wife and I walked in, there was no employee in the front. A young lady finally did come from the back, but did not greet us with a warm welcome. We mentioned to her that it was our first time. Her reaction was more of a meh. She acted like she did not want to be at work, or some other reason may have led to her unpleasant attitude. We said thank you and walked out without making a purchase. We have heard great reviews about SC&C from friends and have read great reviews. However, if this young ladys attitude is indicative of the service patrons receive at SC&C, then Ill take my business elsewhere. Shame.

Awesome Cupcakes!!! Their base cakes are absolutely delicious.They make their cupcakes fresh every morning. There are no day+ old cupcakes. Their flavors are excellent. We tried four different types. The Bavarian - white cake with Bavarian cream inside along with chocolate frosting. My German husband loved it.We also had the Birthday cupcake, Marshmellow cupcake and a chocolate sundae cupcake. All very delicious.They also make their own ice cream in house! My son had the raspberry sherbet and absolutely loved it. I couldn’t believe how creamy their sherbet was.Everything was delicious! Their cake is superior than, sprinkles and nothing bundt cakes.They are also looking to do custom cakes for your event.They have great customer service. Super helpful and informative!Prices are very comparable to other cupcake places.Looking forward to our next visit and ordering a big batch for our next occasion.

These cupcakes are delicious!! Just one note for management - you may not want to send texts saying the cupcakes are ready to be picked up, before the store opens. I should have checked the hours myself, but it didnt occur to me that the text would say they were ready before I could come in and get them - I waited in the cold for a half hour, and there were other customers who appeared to have the same issue. Just a thought - we loved the cupcakes, though!!

I ordered 4 cupcakes. This is my first time ordering from here. The first one I tried was not that good. The pink vanilla tasted funky and kinds stale. I smelled it and it smelled like expired milk. I cut the next one to make sure that it was not just my taste buds acting funny. The second one was red velvet and it was bad. I was mostly excited about the pink vanilla but it was a let down unfortunately. I event tried the rest.😢😢

The cupcakes are good but the customer service leaves something to be desired. I have come to this place many times and get the same treatment from different staff everytime. They all seem pretty unhappy and somewhat rude.

Super moist, very flavorful! I would rate these cupcakes a 10!! Can’t wait to try more soon. I wish they all came in mini’s so I could drop them off at my kids schools. I also bought 4 dog cupcakes and my dogs LOVED them.

I was going to have this beautiful, trendy picture of their doggie cupcakes for this review (bc they WERE beautiful) but then I tripped going up my garage steps coming inside, so please use your imagination! I just tried their cupcakes for the first time tonight and they were delicious! I was a little skeptical because every time I go places for cupcakes they are always too sweet but not these cupcakes! They were perfectly sweet. The cakes were moist and the flavor was wonderful. I am so happy to have finally found a good place for cupcakes! Can’t wait to try some more flavors :)

This place is amazing. Were missing them right now, but definitely the best cupcakes Ive ever had. And such wonderful service from wonderful people. Definitely visit them when they open back up, you wont be disappointed.

I truly regret having to review this bakery so negatively, because their baked goods are delicious. Unfortunately, their customer service is not. I placed a custom order for a birthday celebration on September 19th. The order was confirmed (to be picked up today October 7th) by the manager Jennifer on September 20th. I live in Lancaster, PA and flew in just today for my best friend’s birthday celebration in Denver. I literally booked my flight after placing the custom order, in order to coordinate time to pick up the order after arriving and before the birthday event. When I arrived, they did not have my order. I showed them the confirmation email and the woman at the register called Jennifer, the manager who confirmed my order. She admitted that she “completely spaced” the order and offered to have the order for the next day. I told them that would not be acceptable and said I needed my order today. I was forced to get items that they had left over from the day, and I asked for any type of discount because they blatantly made a mistake. The manager simply replied “No, no discount.” I will not be returning to this bakery.

This place has the best cupcakes!! I have honestly had my fair share over the years in many different states but nothing beats this Small Cakes. My favorite is Chocolate cream and my husband loved the Boston Cream! They also have homemade ice cream which is super good too! Such a great spot for a treat!

My husband and I just happened to see the sign as we were driving by last weekend and decided to stop in. Im so glad we did! They have the BEST cupcakes. I tried the Lemon and the Cookie Monster and I was not disappointed. My husband had the Coconut and the Chocolate. We will be back for more. Im looking forward to trying the Peanut Butter Cup, Boston Cream Pie and everything else they have to offer. I hope this place gets noticed and sticks around for a long time! Yummy!

Accommodated my order in 24 hours time during there grand opening. When they easily could of told me to go pound sand, they were more than happy to complete my order and even on schedule. The cupcakes were delicious and an amazing size HUGE actually! Got great compliments on the cupcakes at my sisters party, definitely a hit. Cannot wait to order more from this amazing shop!

This is a lovely new little local spot. The cupcakes were very beautiful, fluffy, and tasted amazing. I picked out four to try for my first visit. Boston Cream Pie, Chocolate Mallow, Orange Dreamsicle, and my 3yr Old Picked out Pink Vanilla. My favorite was the Boston Cream Pie which had a really rich filling. If the cupcakes are any indication of care/quality, then I will definitely be back to try some of their made in house ice cream.

Maybe thats just fancycupcakes for ya. Ice cream is $3.50 a scoop and cupcakes are $4 apop.No indoor seating. We were hoping to go there as a family and sit downand enjoy time, but its essentially only take out. Not necessarily abad thing but good to know.Lackluster selection of ice cream. Pretty standard flavors, so if youre notgoing for the cupcakes, there are better ice cream places.Bottom line:If youre a cupcake aficionado and you dont mind paying the premium, this is a great place for you. If youre not, it may be a good place to check out at least once to see how you feel.

Every time I get cupcakes from here they are the absolute BEST cupcakes!! Always so amazingly good! I would recommend everyone I know to this place! Some of my favorites are the boston cream pie, wedding cake and the strawberry! This is a MUST try kinda place!!

These cupcakes are truly amazing! I am always looking for a good bakery, and its at such a convenient location too! The frosting on all the cupcakes is truly to die for, and the batter is deliciously moist, with some great flavor! Great place! We just had ice cream but the cupcakes look amazing!!! Not related to this review but I was wearing a shirt with an early Ford bronco on it. The cashier was wearing a shirt with a jeep. I said oh hey Ive got a bronco on my shirt and you have a jeep she smirks at me and says no comment Im thinking oh wow so I guess we need to be in competition or even worse a rivalry? So stupid. Whats wrong with people. I digress....

Stopped here on their opening weekend. We brought home 12 cupcakes for the Memorial Day Weekend for our family of 4- they didnt even make it through one day! Great cupcakes and ice cream- a new family favorite!
