Good place I started playing guitar during quarantine and here is where I got replacement strings and picks I love the calm vibe in there.

Very friendly and knowledgeable, good selection of items. Really look around they have hidden treasures. Only problem was told restringing my 2 Ukuleles would take 2 hours tops, 3 1/2 later did not want to wait any longer. Took them from them, will look for a closer store.

As I explained to one of the staff today, the Englewood Guitar center location is my absolute favorite in Denver. I dont like to go to the other locations in town. the Westminster store used to be my home store, and management there always treated me like complete garbage no matter if I had money for what I was looking at or not.The Englewood location however is my favorite due to the fact that every single time I go in there Im helped out, Im treated with respect, they will show me any guitar that I want to look at, they always have informed staff, who cares about music, and because of it Ive purchased three guitars from them. The first time I went to this location was actually supposed to be the last time I gave Guitar center a chance, due to being treated poorly as a customer. I intended to switch to Sweetwater altogether. But as stated this location is far above and beyond the others, and thats also including the location in Vegas.

Staff is always cool, I have been bringing my son here for years. There arent many places to try out equipment so we are here often. Very helpful and considerate staff.

This store is great!! I went in to grab a trumpet for my 6th grader and may have found a new Fender for me. Amazing service and even 25% off for the Labor day sale. We will definitely be back.

Never been in this store before, amazing selection of all types of musical items and instruments. All the staff was welcoming and helpful great salesmen and friendly went out of their way to help and were patiently understanding we bought a few things with intent to get the other few things we need later this week... Over all GREAT first time experience. Highly recommend it to EVERYONE not all at the same time of course with this 😷. . . . . .😷

They have a huge selection of how to play music books for various musical instruments. They have a beautiful guitar room with a variety of brands of guitars. They also have a great selection of piano keyboards and offer a combination pack for those of us who are first time purchasers.

I guess Im just old school but I expect that when Im interested in purchasing an expensive product in guitar Center that someone would actually help me and not pawn me off to whomever they can. Maybe its a covid thing but its sure seemed like there were plenty of people to help but half the staff was just standing around. Im just disappointed.

Memphis and his team go out of their way to provide an excellent purchasing experience. I often drive over an hour to shop here when 3 other GC’s (and other music stores) are much closer to me.

Everyone working (particularly in the pro sound section) ignored me, a 52 female who works in the industry. I got an excuse me when one needs to get something where I was looking, but never asked if I wanted help. However, they asked my husband and the other men around multiple times if they needed help. I had intentions of buying a couple pieces of gear, but decided against it. Greet everyone as a potential customer, or lose business.

Not at lot of products. Inventory was really low. On the other hand we found what we were looking for and bought the last cord available customer service was quick.

Very nice. Really expensive. Lots of great music items in here. (Edit) and DJ equipment and drum equipment and keyboards not just guitars.

Best experience ever!Yeager was an amazing employee.I would reccomend him without a doubt. I spent 4 or 5 hours exploring the store and I fell in love with the instruments. I found myself browsing through music literature and spotted the 2004 American Idiot Green Day music book and couldnt help but read a bit of it.Thank you Guitar Center.I will be back no doubt!

You can try things out there. Selection of not common items is very limited. Most staff are nice, but they are clearly on commission and Ive had a few conversations with employees who dont know what theyre talking about but pretend to to encourage sales. Would prefer honesty and straight answers. But some employees a very helpful and knowledgeable. Hit or Miss every time.

Absolutely painless was ordering Limited Edition white CDJ 3000s and mixer didnt have the white ones and Chris was wonderful helped me get them ordered and with Overnight from Hollywood and they came in early today in time for my deadline will definitely use again and again!!! Highly recommended more then 5 stars 🌟

Address of particular store is,9647 E County Line RdEnglewood, CO 80112I purchase a guitar processor ( used ) upon getting it home to plug it in to play around with it the unit won’t even power on. I have played guitar ( acoustic ) for years but only recently started playing electric. My neighbor before moving here was a significant guitar player from a big 80’s band. I am not going to included name as he has nothing to do with the issue and I have no idea of his business relationships just know he was a cool dude and could party like well a ROCK STAR. The stores answer for this issue was you can return it for a refund. I myself am a very busy man that works 18 hrs a day( how I afford live by 80’s rock star’s ) and my time is money I lost. So now not only did I not get what I paid for I also lost probably about 2-3 hrs of my time with ordering, pickup, returning unit, and all for nothing. I have no working product and if I want one I will have to do the process all over again as it wasn’t offered a exchange, perhaps discount towards the purchase of a different unit, or any other sort of compensation for the time I have spent to get a product that is worthless. It has nothing to do with the money of the matter yes it was a used unit but I as I’m sure most people do held guitar center to a standard of quality and trusted that I was getting at the very minimum a usable product. Well don’t make the same mistake I did and think this of the company, they know that the sale of one person of my stature ( nobody in music business ) won’t hurt them one bit and may as well told me to F**k OFF and we as consumers have allowed them to be able to do this. Now I grew up in small town with small business the damn guy seen you 5-6 times a year knew your name what strings and pics you wanted and if you did have a product issue would have drove to your house with a working replacement if that’s what was need to satisfy a customer. I’ve ramble here long enough so I’ll go ahead and wrap this up with a BIG F**K YOU GUITAR CENTER learn to stand behind your products and appreciate the fact that you have customers because the small local places sure did before you put them out of business.

This store has amazing customer service. They genuinely care about getting people the right gear and helping them get into music. Im a new guitar player who had purchased a Martin. Weeks later, the neck had twisted. The tech was happy to look at my guitar, offer solutions, and the sales rep actually ended up replacing the guitar for me that day so I could get back to playing. He said, We want to make our customers happy. I highly recommend this store! Thank you!

What a great selection of guitars! Real nice knowledgeable group of guys in the store and they all asked me several times if they could help me or show me anything. I really enjoy walking through the store!

This review is only a reflection of my experience with maintenance/repairs in this store, it does not pertain to the rest of the staff. I dropped off a bass guitar about 3 weeks ago, and have simply called 3-4 times periodically in that time to check on an ETA. I just got hung up on by the guy in repairs and reprimanded for inquiring, as the tech repeatedly said he would call me. Absolutely disgraceful customer service, and now this makes me doubt the quality of work he is doing on my near $4,000 modulus 5 string bass I dropped off. It shouldnt matter how many times I check up to ask a question on a 2 minute conversation. I never gave him any attitude, just wanted updates since that thing is my baby. Steer clear of this store for any maintenance as they arent professional at all.

This store can be very busy. We always enjoy looking around. All of my sons guitars have been purchased from here. Weve never had a problem with warranty or help getting what we need. Last time we were here, AJ helped us. He was knowledgeable and friendly.

Was going to buy a nice new acoustic guitar for my birthday, but couldnt due to an employee who decided to put on a impromptu concert to boast about his playing ability. Wouldnt mind if he was trying to sell a guitar, but he spent the whole time boasting about his ability and said nothing about the product. After 5 minutes of this I left without a birthday guitar. Thanks a lot guitar center. Please get your employees in line so those of us who want to buy can. Thanks.

Ive been playing on a Kay acoustic that was from a garage sale for $25 for the past decade. I needed an upgrade. They had my beautiful Martin guitar ready and waiting for me. Answered my questions that may have seemed silly. And even made sure my new strings were adjusted into the price of the guitar saying, A new guitar needs new strings. Thanks guys!

The location on County Line road is notably smaller than other Guitar Centers Ive been in but do not mistake this for a lack of products or helpful staff.

Came in to buy a keyboard, stand, pedal and seat. The guy who assisted me was pretty friendly, had great, and fair recommendations for the equipment (particularly the seat and stand), and assisted me to my car with the mega heavy keyboard. Great experience!

I came here 2 times in a week (January) because my church assigned me to buy and upgrade for our old sound system with budget $3-5grand. My first visit was disappointed because no one available to get help. Just look around and about 10-12 minutes I leave. The second time I came and directly to the guy at the counter and requested if someone can help me. He says absolutely and he stopped one of the guy and he said he will happy to help me until he’s done with other costumer. I waited at the loudspeaker area and writing note about the equipments. I look at my watch already 14 minutes and seems like no one available so I walked out of the store. In my car I called B&H and made all my purchase there. Less than 15 minutes!

Worked with Matt. Was very helpful in explaining the different equipment I was looking at and helped make sure I got all the accessories that didnt come in the box so I wouldnt miss anything. Will definitely recommend. Thank you!

Always a fun place to go. The only downside is they primarily cater to a rock n roll crowd. They should represent a broader spectrum of musical interests.

Super helpful staff! I came in looking for a practical guitar amp, a guitar stand, and a hard case. They were a little picked through, every location Ive been too since Covid has been, but I ended up leaving with a stand and a reference for a practice amp held at a separate franchise, since they didnt carry it at the moment. Staff was kind and patient with my selections, and got me out for a decent price.

Had great choices and staff helped me locate what i was looking for.

Always friendly staff, clean environment, about half the selection now that they normally carry, expect that to change after covid.

My go to when I need anything for the band

Came in on a Thursday around 3:20 for a replacement work guitar. Dakota greeted us as we walked in and helped us find a suitable new instrument for my needs. He made recommendations based on experience and was very knowledgeable.

I went to this GC looking to play several specific guitars which I knew they had from checking the stock online. The guitars were there, however I was really disappointed in the condition they let them stay in. These are guitars worth upwards of $2000 each. But one of them had terrible action from a bowed neck, sharp frets, and overall felt like they never bothered to set it up before putting it on the floor. Another had a large chip in the headstock and the 5-way selector had been marred so bad it didnt even work, which they blamed on the vendors shipping of it, but I have worked for a guitar store before -- if a vendor allowed this to happen, you could absolutely send it back for a good one since you cant sell it for full price like that. Which, by the way, they barely even offered $100 off for this jacked up guitar. And the third guitar had old crumby strings and felt like a 5-year old had just played it with juice-covered hands and made the neck sticky. I mean, I would understand this kind of stuff for maybe the entry level guitars. But some of the nicer ones with better margins? Thats too bad. You wont move guitars that immediately turn people off. I get that they are under some pressure with everything going on right now and recently opening up the floor again, but having the floor closed would have provided the perfect opportunity to take care of some of these guitars. Even just wiping down guitars after people use them on your way to put them back up would help.

This place is always massively understaffed, the one employee in the shop is trying to help all 20 customers meaning hugely long lines, even just to check out.They have a decent selection of stuff, but please hire some help!

Brought my guitar in since it was missing a bridge screw. I had to wait a bit for their tech to come in, but everyone was super friendly while I waited and gave me space to mess around with the guitars. When the tech eventually came I was helped pretty fast.

Traded in (sold) a nice Breedlove and bought an amazing Taylor Builder Series 324ce today. Kevin was awesome! Exceptional product knowledge and stellar customer service!

I am came into the store to have an item shipped from their store in Georgia to my home in Englewood on Nov.6. It was supposed to be shipped to my house by Nov. 10 to use on a gig on Nov.11. It turns out that the clerk/manager, Memphis, typed in the wrong address, even though I gave him my drivers license to copy and to prevent mistakes. When the item did not arrive (and still hasnt) I called and he took responsibility for the mistake. I asked how he could make it right with me and he would not even offer a pack of guitar strings (or something!!!) as an apology. He said all he could do was have the item re-shipped. Its now Nov. 19 and tracking says it will be at my house Nov. 23. I am very displeased with this situation.Update 12/14: The manager sent pack of guitar strings to make up inconvenience and item was eventually delivered.

Nothing in stock. Shelves are empty. No employees working not a good experience each of the last 3 times Ive been in not sure why Ive been back 3 times.

The worst guitar center Ive ever been to. No synthesizers to try, none of the dj setups were on/connected, hardly any headphones in stock, waited and waited to buy some sticks eventually just leaving because no one seemed interested in helping me.

Amazing! The service was great and got all the help I needed, I will be returning soon for anything my new guitar needs.

In from out of town and stopped by to see a couple used guitars. Met Memphis (Mike Schalk), the store Manager who was simply wonderful. Spent time discussing a guitar, he offered to get the case to see, and helped in every way. I stopped back a few days later and while I didnt see Memphis, I met a couple other people who were also very helpful and friendly... I suspect not an accident as Memphis seems to be one of those Managers who sets an example and leads from the front.

Great large selection and if the item you are looking for is not in stock, they ship in store at no charge within a couple days. Super competitive pricing! Even better, they also do price match with local shops or online. I was able to do a price match on a guitar I found on Amazon for a few bucks cheaper. Outstanding customer service from staff and very knowledgeable on their products. Thank you!!

Really friendly and helpful. Took 2 guitars in that we thought needed work on, and the guy working there gave us some great advice and said we didn’t need to spend any money on one of them. Our other guitar was fixed up and didn’t cost much at all! Everyone there is super friendly and helpful!

Genuinely one of my least favorite places to go into... The last time I was there I needed a single cable and my non musician friend was with me, so I was showing him some of the synthesizers and such they had on display and I was rudely confronted by an employee who awkwardly asked of I needed any help and essentially forced me to check out... It was super uncomfortable and obvious that they didnt want me browsing the store. Im a normal looking guy that owns thousands of dollars worth of equipment at home not some shady teenager... really no reason to treat people like that. So I havent returned since. most things are cheaper online anyway.

First time in a GC. you have folks standing around and half the stuff in the store with no price tags. Website says you have things you dont have.

Just started my dive into home recording, and they had a gentleman named Chance in pro sounds who went above and beyond to get me started and explain why I should start where Im started and avoiding hard to delanwith software I was researching. Saved me money and got me out the door happier than I thought I could be!

I had such a great experience today at this Guitar Center. Even though they were struggling because all the Corona BS and social distancing they still we’re hustling around making sure everyone was taken care of!!! The phone was ringing off the hook while I was in there it was insane! But yet they still had someone trying to answer every call the best they could! I was honestly impressed about how serious they were taking things.

Helpful Staffan cool stuff. Been shopping here for 10+ years.
