My first visit to this store was awesome. I am planning two Axial builds for my son and I. As these will by my first build I had a lot of noob questions. The gentleman behind the counter happily spent a good 30-40 minutes answering all of my questions and I got the sense he would spend another 30 minutes if I kept him. These guys are very knowledgeable and I am planning of buying everything from them.

Hands down I recommend going to Remote Control Hobbies instead of HobbyTown mainly because HobbyTown is a chain and I usually know more than the staff does about what Im purchasing. At Remote Control Hobbies theyre dedicated to what they sell... customer service... theyre extremely helpful ; HobbyTown theyre basically the Walmart of hobby stores I recommend going on Amazon instead of into one of their stores. If you actually want to get help know what youre purchasing and feel good about your decision go to Remote Control Hobbies.

My first experience was excellent. The staff was very quick to respond and all were very competent and helpful. They took me directly to the product I was seeking and advised on which I should purchase.On a subsequent visit they assisted me with solving a problem with obsolete RC gear and placed a custom order for the parts I needed.The store has a broad range of hobby products from RC cars, planes, and helicopters to traditional plastic kits and model trains. They are especially strong on RC Cars, Planes, and Helicopters.Having observed excellent customer service with other customers, I highly recommend HobbyTown. I will definitely shopping there in the future.O

My husband and I have visited multiple hobby shops in the past year (as my husband has taken an extreme interest in RC CARS) and this location on Arapaho and University in Centennial is by far the BEST!! With particular focus on an employee named Josh who has always assisted my husband above and beyond and answered all his 20+ questions he usually has :). There isnt a need to go anywhere else as we always leave this location satisfied!!!

Has been my go-to place for model rockets and other model making supplies for years! I bought a starter set for my Godson and then a gift card online for Christmas. I live in another state and couldnt pick it up. I explained my situation, gave the name of my Godson and his father and designated them as the authorized pick up agent. The staff had no problem making it happen for us.

It is always a join to visit HobbyTown on University. They always have helpful staff and the products I need. I love they have E-Flight Apprentice 15e parts so I can quickly get flying again after an unplanned meeting with the ground.

I have been flying planes and building models for over 30 years and have been to a lot of hobby shops. These guys are always great, enthusiastic, and helpful! I am just now getting into RC cars and have appreciated the advice from these guys.

With rc racing being so popular need to carry more parts to replace the broken parts and bodies. Josh is very knowledgeable and knows what we need let him order stock and keep the customers happy. Great guys though.

Great store with great people working there! Got 2 rc trucks here one for my son and myself. After a couple of weeks my truck had a problem with the motor and esc. They got me new parts and installed them for me. Best part didnt cost me anything.

Tons of inventory and a super helpful staff. Lots of Axial parts in stock and a great loyalty program.

This shop is very helpful. I have purchased r/c helicopters, airplanes and carsee. They areally informative and helpful.

I take my son here all the time, and they love the models and prices are good.

I bought my first N scale model train here 2 weeks back .Very Expensive, do your homework before going there. The person in the store explained about the hobby. I spent more than 1Hr there, he recommended Bachmann Thunder Valley train set for me since I am a starter. I paid nearly $130 for the set. That evening I happen visit another model shops and I saw the same model for $90, and in Target the same model costs only $85. I searched net, the maximum price I saw was $90.Later I noticed HobbyTown, they didnt gave me any offer as mentioned in their website( valid up to 31st Jan), i.e $20 off if you purchase for $100. I spent more than $150 here. I mailed them about the same but no reply of any kind.I am very disappointed going to this store, non of my future train models will be from this store. There are other wonderful model stores in Denve,CO.

Wanna be insulted with what you need help with then this place is the place for you, but dont expect for much help from them unless youre paying hundreds on their crap. i brought in my item to get help and the kid (literally) was the most awful rude, cocky, snobby kid. I could of bought thousands of dollars of stuff from them but the kid was so snobby i had changed my mind about any purchase within 2 min of talking to this snob. i wont return and ill never send someone your way. Also dont buy any drones from them, the snob dropped my friends from the very top shelf and didnt even grab a new drone to sell to him, the return is a joke on them if you fly your drone then you cant return it, which means dont buy one.

We got a rc car for Christmas and it totaly sucked it spun around in circles and lot traction the guy at the store said they went like 10-15 mph and it actually went like 2 mph even after we charged it for 2 hours and when we took it back the guy at the front said that you couldnt return it after it was oppened so we wasted 100 dollars on crap cars that we cant use
