We were driving from Arvada back to Highlands ranch and were looking for a place for coffee. We found Solid Grounds. It was a great place. It was spacious with lots of places to sit. It had a good positive attitude to it. My wife and I both got iced americanos and they were fantastic. The young man behind the counter was super friendly. I would highly recommend this if youre looking for coffee.
It is easy to understand why Solid Grounds receives such high ratings. This conveniently located coffee shop offers much more than just coffee. First, the staff is very friendly and provide a home type atmosphere, unlike the large chain places that shall be nameless. Second, choose from a variety of seats to meet your needs. From couches and chairs for relaxation, to small tables for the intimate date or individual student, to large group tables for meetings or large get togethers. Each with a power supply for all your electronic needs. Lets face it, in todays coffee shop world, that is more than enough. Third, they do offer a wide selection of coffee drinks and eats. When you go here, and Im saying it is a must, you have to try the quiches. Either veggie or with bacon and sausage. I promise, you wont be sorry. My wife and I spent 4-hours here catching up on life after months of travel. I am soo glad we did. You will be also!!!
What a great place! Very warm and inviting. The space is large and well laid out. The pour-over I had was their own coffee roast and it was very balanced. I do not usually like a dark roast but this one was outstanding!!They have a great patio that has plenty of table to work fromThis is worth a trip
Go here! Buy a lot! Go often! Love it!Solid Grounds is one of the absolute best independent coffee shops in all of Denver Metro. I love everything about what this little (not so little) gem has to offer. Whether youre there for coffee or food they have the best seating options of any coffee shop around. I really appreciate the private conference rooms they offer.
Great coffee shop with plenty of space to meet for business or with friends. My office is not far from this place so I visit it quite often. I sometimes feel like Im at my friends house. Highly recommend!
Ive enjoyed this coffee shop many times until you closed it. Were you ever going to open it again?
Great coffee shop with modern equipment. Coffee and pastries are super tasty here and the prices are lower than in Starbucks. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is calm. My go-to place for a quick bite.
Had a great time meeting with a buddy early in the morning wasnt very busy. Great customer service and the coffee wasnt half bad. Plenty of seating and a very comfortable place to meet up.
Awesome coffee house to chill or get some work done. They have big comfy couches to relax, or tables for work. Everyone is always so friendly- staff and customers. Great place to take my son to hang out or meet friends. Yummy sweet treats. Plenty of seating and parking.
What a hidden gem! I wish I found it earlier. High-quality coffee at a fair price. The barista was super knowledgeable and helpful. Its a good relaxing place to take a break, accomplish business or meet new friends.
Love this coffee shop but Im not a fan of the homeless that seem to hang out around the coffee shop. I wont go to starbucks anymore because this is such a good coffee shop. There have been a few times that I didnt go in because there were a homeless guys sitting out front and I didnt want to walk by them, I returned a few hours later and 2 of them were still sitting outside. Great shop, great service and best of all great coffee..
Surprised I havent rated this place yet, as its been one of my favorite coffee houses for years. This is truly one of the best, and I wish it was closer to my new(ish) home!
Great little Coffee Shop off Broadway. Good selection of items. The best part is the spacious places to hang out and get work done! I’ll be back very soon.
Staff is wonderful. Coffee is good. Atmosphere is good. Tables could have better lighting but that is the only thing wrong.
Highly recommend the lemon cloud rooibos tea. Love the atmosphere and the personable staff. This place has been a favorite local haunt for years!
Took the family here today to get some ice cold drinks. Our son had a strawberry smoothie, which tasted of actual strawberries. He also had a cherry danish that, while slightly stale, was delicious. I had a chi tea that had the right sweet to spice ratio and the wife had one of the best caramel macchiatos I have ever tasted. The espresso was so strong but in an absolutely wonderful way that didnt overpower the caramel nor was it bitter. We also split a chocolate croissant that, while yummy, wasnt technically a croissant but that didnt detract from it at all. The prices were a little higher and they only have two sizes (12 or 16 oz) to choose from. Also, I didnt ask but, we heard a band warming up leading me to believe that live music is played after a certain hour. Highly recommend as a family friendly, cozy place to get fabulous coffee.
I love finding unique cafes and this one was a real treat! Plenty of seating for a meeting or for just sitting by yourself! While I only enjoyed the coffee I was almost tempted to try one of their sweet treats! Will have to save that for my next visit! Which will be soon I hope!!
Amazing faith based service, reasonable prices. Great place too meet with friends
Ambiance--delightful. Staff--great. Latte art--sometimes beautiful. Unfortunately I only order flavored coffee because otherwise it is not very tasty and overpriced.
Really cute place. Plus they have decent coffee and good food. The music is awesome too. The only thing you have to be careful about is the coffee sizes. Bit on the small side. But still gets five stars from me!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great coffee shop! The layout is awesome and there is plenty of space for small groups or individuals. They also have events throughout the week and especially on the weekends. Very kid friendly.
I stumbled upon this coffee shop randomly as I live on the opposite side of town. I planned to work only for an hour but ended up spending my afternoon there. This shop is so peaceful and calming, thanks to the amazing staff and drinks that, I didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to visit again.
My favorite coffee shop so far! The spiced chai is amazing. The espresso shots are always perfect!! Friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
Its nice to be able to get hot Corvus Coffee at a relaxing coffee shop close to home. Lots of seating yet not packed in so tight that you arent sitting by a line of people waiting to order and you arent hip checking people as you try to squeeze in between tables to get to the seats on the other side (Im looking at you Starbucks). Nice friendly staff and delicious beverages. Ill have to try some pastries next time!
This place is really surprising- unassuming from the outside, being located in a shoddy looking strip mall this coffee house is super inviting and modern inside- the cold brewed coffee that i had was top notch- they also are part of the 5 star rewards program so you can get some deals here. Best coffee house in this whole area.
Great Tea. Friendly, helpful staff. Warm, inviting environment. What more could you ask for?
Great coffee (they brew Corvus)! And great atmosphere. I love how big this coffee shop is. It’s a great place to get some work or studying done without feeling claustrophobic.
This place is a local gem! I had no idea it was right in the neighborhood, and the environment is that of your favorite spacious grab a cup and stay coffee shop.Ive only had the cold brew, however it was fantastic. Ill be back for sure! (Also, they do have a changing table for parents needing to do their thing). This is also a wonderful place to work with rooms (reservation needed) or out in the open.
Terrific Coda coffee and the people are even better. Can most always find a place to sit for two and food is also tasty and reasonably priced. I rate it 3 stars for the coffee and 2 more for the people, food and vibe. Its owned by the church up the sidewalk but what matters to me is the great coffee and service.
So glad I found this place! I am a student at the University of Denver, and I am always looking for new spaces to study. This was perfect! So many tables, great menu, friendly staff. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a refreshing space to get work done :)
Good coffee! Coffee shop is loud, a lot of small young kids, definitely not the place to go if youre looking for a quiet place. Its so loud you cant think or focus.
I like this coffee shop because it has a very cozy, warm ambience that is very relaxing (even though you are probably drinking coffee!). The coffee is good, and there are pastries that you can eat too. I like to come here in the Winter and enjoy a coffee while looking out at the snowy weather. Nice place!
1) Great for introverts. They have little private quite spaces for 2 dollars per hour.2) They have decaffeinated drip coffee all day long. A lot of places make you wait while they brew it or will only give you decaf as an latte.3) lots of space to sit.
I love the vibe of this coffee shop! Great place with plenty of room to set up my computer and work.
Large and attractive coffeehouse tucked in a strip mall. There is lots of table space for studying and the coffee is good as well. It definitely has a community feel to it and while Ive sometimes found that to be a distraction (i.e. too many high school kids hanging out while Im trying to work), Im glad a place like Solid Grounds exists.
Great coffee. Great space. A community gathering place.
This is a good place to have coffee and study. The place is spacious and quiet. WiFi can be slow sometimes but better than most places
Wonderful coffee shop! Peaceful, friendly!I love the different personalities. From toddlers to canes and walkers, all ages visit the shop. What a great place for people to be.Thank You!
More individual space, with a decor that is not your typical coffee shop. The coffee was very commendable and they do have food items that I did not try. A very good meeting spot.
If you are a student or a professional that can work from your computer, Id recommend this coffee shop. There is a peaceful presence in the atmosphere, outlets galore, tables and chairs, couches, a printer and bottomless Corvis coffee. The staff is kind and they play great music.
Great atmosphere and beverage. It was a little cold, but still a nice place!
I have been coming to Solid Grounds for a year years now and enjoyed it more before the renovations. The lighting makes it hard to read and where you almost have to bring your own light in the evening. Also, wish that it stayed open at least an hour later during the week. Prices are higher than Starbucks, but the taste is better. It is a great place free of distractions and not too busy.
Cute little coffee shop! Friendly staff and nice ambience. Latte was good! Definitely recommend checking it out!
What an amazing coffee shop! I will be back!2/22/18 - UPDATE Just not the same amazing place it once was. I can no longer recommend it as an amazing place that I would visit again.8/1/17 - Looks like changes are coming to the shop and management. I hope it has the same feel and great coffee. To be determined later. I will check back
A comfy place to have conversation and coffee with someone. Some folks enjoy it also to study and do computer work.
Radical Christian coffee house but it doesnt shove it down your throat. Staff is always nice and speedy. Tons of seating between the two rooms with tables that seat 10 to individual study areas. Love this place
Great coffee and other drinks; wide variety of snack items. Super roomy and has a fantastic atmosphere. Love the more relaxed look Vs more modern. The big chairs are super comfy too.
Flavorful, rich- tasting latte. I loved every sip.
I host a weekly leads group meeting here every Friday at 9:30am. This is an excellent place to grab a cup of coffee or tea and hold a meeting. They serve Corvus coffee which is a local roaster located in Denver. Support your local small business!
Very cozy place with personable workers. Fast enough, but you dont get the feeling theyre just trying to get you trust thru line. Plenty of space for groups or sitting at a table working on your laptop. Patio for good weather, and I saw they do live music on occasion as well. This place reminds me of a coffee shop back home ♡
This is a large coffee house. Respectful patronage and great ambiance and the background sounds really help my concentration. Everything that I love about a coffee house. Good job!
I had one of their specialty drinks, Littleton Honey. Very delicious hot or cold. The fireplace is a quiet and cozy spot to enjoy.
Great coffee shop in Littleton/centennial area! Always super friendly service and great selection of breakfast and snack treats. They are super eco friendly too and I love that they are focused on reducing waste but providing a great coffee experience! I would go here everyday if I could!
Underrated, large coffee venue. Great meeting area with big tables for gathering or spreading out and getting work done! I ordered a no frills Americano but the menu looks pretty good! Great customer service, clean service counter. Step away from SB and try SG!!
Solid Grounds is the first place Ive found in the Littleton area that includes remote office work as a specific goal: 1) it has lots of space (looks like it might have been an old hardware store); 2) its seating is set up for comfort (couches and oversized padded chairs), tables (2, 4, 6, and group); 3) two small meeting rooms, with glass-paned doors, for rent; 4) open areas for more of a group feel, secluded areas for less, and a patio; and 5) WiFi of course. Every indication is theyd like you to stay, not rotate you out for the next customer. There are even stacks of metal cups and an iced water dispenser on the utensil/napkin table. All areas are well lit with comfortable illumination. Most of the lighting comes from the north and west facing picture windows. In the main room, track lighting meanders throughout the room. Each light is either pointed at a traffic area or reflected off the ivory walls. The large side room is lit up by softer antique-style filament bulbs. This coffee house is just quirky enough to make it homey. It has stuffed chairs and couches, a fireplace, an old fashioned open bookcase, older style wooden chairs and tables, end tables of various kinds, and table and floor lamps. All this gives the place a 1950s feel (yes, I remember the 50s), retrofitted with modern accommodations. The latte Im drinking is as good as Ive had anywhere, much better than most. It has a moderately strong coffee flavor with no bitterness, off-flavors, or strange aftertaste. Its very well thought-out and managed. The whole facility, including the bathrooms, is clean and maintained that way. Its staff is friendly, service-oriented, and always professional. Because of this, wait time is minimal.Cons: none that Ive found.
The place isn’t bad it is a nice quaint and peaceful place that is awesome. The drinks aren’t bad but the reason for the one star is the price. Walked in expecting it to be a bit cheaper than Starbucks but for a small (which is absolutely tiny) was $5 for a iced chai latte. Never coming back TRASH.
The coolest coffee shop in the south part of Denver. It is even better now, as of 2019. They are serve Jubilee Coffee (roasted in Aurora, CO.) so great local connection and the highest standards of sourcing and roasting. Love the staff and crowd at Solid Grounds.
Very quiet and nice me and my friends had a study group there. Also the drinks are phenomenal.
Comfortable place to meet. I bring my clients here consistently. On cold days the fire is fabulous!
Great place to meet friends for coffee and a pastry. As private as you want, with private meeting rooms, even. Friendly staff and patrons; warm atmosphere.
Visited Sunday morning for some quality reading time, was not disappointed.- Good selection of coffee and light food options like pastries and sandwiches.- Spacious, plenty and different types of seating (long table, 4-seat tables, and sofas), and a subtle wood-color decorations made a comfortable space to read, work, or meet up.- Friendly staff! Service was quick, baristas are knowledgable, and they struck up conversations with patrons in the meanwhile.
Decent coffee. I wouldnt go out of my way to come here, but dont mind if If Im close. TONS of seating and cozy couches
This is my favorite coffee shop in Littleton. Great people, great coffee, free water, great atmosphere to work or hang out with friends.
Best coffee, atmosphere, seating plus gluten free foods. Skip SB, come here. Staff are awesome!
Spacious and got a comfy ambiance. Staffs were friendly and I was greeted the moment I stepped in. Delicious and I really enjoyed reading my book in here while taking a sip.
A great place to get work done or meet up with friends. Good coffee and non-coffee options. Plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating.
I have been going to this coffee shop for years and used to love it. But suddenly they made big changes. Raised their prices AND made their cup sizes smaller. Seriously, both?? They have now become overly priced, especially for the quality of coffee. There is better out there..... like Petes. I also notice its not as busy as it used to be. Duh! Bad, bad decision Solid Grounds.
I really love this place. I came in the late afternoon on a Monday and it was very relaxing. They have a great atmosphere, good music, and very kind baristas. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Great coffee. The staff was super friendly. The environment was spacious, not too loud, and very inviting. Free wifi. Plenty of table space.
Great space. Great coffee. Good vibe here.
I hate to give bad reviews but I grew up coming to Solid Grounds and I’ve always loved it. I think the decor changes are amazing and so is the menu. But... the coffee is absolutely awful. I don’t know a single person who I have talked to who does like the coffee. I paid five dollars to sit in a nice place and drink awful, bitter coffee. A real let down because the look and feel of the place is spot on.
Solid Grounds is my favorite coffee place in Littleton area. Tried a new one called Dirt at the weekend and made a mistake. Love Solid Grounds.
They have an awesome space and atmosphere. The coffee and teas are always really good. Never too sweet and have full bodied flavors
Holy shabby chic, Batman!+ outlets! outlets everywhere!!+ plenty of seating for all different party sizes+ couches & tables+ reservable private rooms+ very quiet back room away from coffee bar+ perfect for socializing or working- drinks are slightly pricy for the small sizeThis may be my favorite coffee shop in the area. It’s the perfect combination of shabby chic. It is a Christian coffee shop, but I wouldn’t know it if I didn’t check out the website.
Quick service with good coffee. Had a piece of coffee cake as well which was also very good. Lots of room to spread out and relax.
Excellent coffee shop, good coffee, great relaxed vibe, laid back, outside deck and plenty of setting inside. A great place to get away and work or have a meeting.
Really cozy atmosphere. Quiet, very open. Great place to get some work done away from home.
Very cool place, plenty of seating and excellent latte and pastries
Environment is perfect for studying and working. Great coffee, too!
Solid Grounds used to be better. I used to go almost everyday before school to get coffee. Recently they increased the prices of their coffee and changed their coffee to Coda. In my opinion Coda coffee has a sour taste to it kind of like gass station coffee.(Coda is what my high school cafeteria sells) If you like Coda then just go any local bakery or coffee shop to get it for way cheaper! $3.50 for a 16 oz cup of drip coffee is expensive!
Great coffee, live music. Happy start to a Saturday shopping day.
Comfortable, relaxed coffee shop. Staffed by pleasant staff. NOT a Starbucks kind of place. Much more down to earth.
Absolutely wonderful place to chill and talk over a great cup of coffee. They sell ground and whole bean coffee and other thungs, also. Lovely little out of the way place!
Probably the best coffee Ive had in a 20 mile radius and as advertised, the building is on very stable footing.
Excellent place to do business. The rental rooms make it personal. And the large area, out doors, staff, The coffee, food, snacks are Great! My favorite place for Business and to Chill.
The coffee shop is very loud at times. I was able to hear multiple conversations throughout at once. The food was fair and the staff was pleasant.
Love this place! My favorite latte is the Littleton Honey, made with half and half, expresso and honey. I like the service, the spaciousness of the place, and the Corvus coffee they serve. Stop by and you wont regret it.
Friendly staff, plenty of seating to hang out and and tasty beverages.
Fastest Internet of any coffee house Ive been to (over 100Mbps). Good coffee, LOTS of seating and comfortable. Did I mention their Internet connection is seriously fast?
Great service, delicious drinks. Great space. Lots of tables and private meeting rooms. Great spot!
Solid grounds is exceptional. Loads of space for private working or meeting with groups. Style is chic and overall peaceful atmosphere. Outdoor seating in summer time, dog friendly. They serve Corvus coffee which is not my favorite but makes a killer Cortado - bring back Kaladi please ! :9
