I am so happy with my experience here. I came looking for the dress for my big day that was not too long away and everyone we worked with was so helpful given our short frame of time. We had a mishap with the first dress that we bought (something no one could have known about, I don’t blame the shop at all) and they were so helpful and wonderful when it came to making things right. The owner of the franchise even called us to apologize for the situation which really shows you how much they care about their customers. We ended up getting the second dress that I loved even more to the first! All the ladies we worked with were so wonderful and had great suggestions but were never pushy! We ended up getting a style of dress completely different than what I was originally thinking because they really know what will help flatter you on your big day (and hide a pregnant belly!) :) thank you so so much for taking such sincere care of your customers, I will be recommending to all my friends who are getting married in the future!
Even though I didnt end up buying my dress here, the experience was still amazing! Since the workers dont earn commission, there wasnt much of a push to buy that day, which was nice because I wasnt ready to commit just yet. I went into my appointment with a completely different idea of what I wanted than when I came out, and I mean that in a good way! Sydney was fantastic at helping me figure out what I really wanted and what would look the best on me. Plus, the dresses were all cheaper than you would get them for new without sacrificing quality! Definitely would recommend this shop!
WOW! I was so happy with my experience at the Altar Bridal! It was everything and more. I made an appointment to come in and was taken care of right when we walked in. My mom joined me so we were in a smaller area shared with another bride and her mom. It didn’t feel crowded! We felt very comfortable. This was my first time trying on dresses and Maureen was so helpful she had me try on dresses that I wanted while also picking out ones she thought I would like and she was right! We came shopping just for “fun” to see the options but I ended up finding THE ONE! They had a great variety of dresses in many sizes. I didn’t feel rushed being I was between two dresses and I didn’t feel like I was being forced to buy anything. Once the veil was on I knew this was the dress and I didn’t want to take it off. Thank you Altar Bridal for making my dream wedding dress come true!!!
Although I did not find my dress at The Altar Bridal, I still loved the experience and the store! It was my first time trying on dresses, and Sydney, my consultant, made everything so easy. She was very attentive, listened to what I wanted, and chose a beautiful selection of dresses to try on, and the prices are 👌. I would definitely check out The Altar Bridal if youre in need of your perfect dress!
I found my dress within one visit! Ashley was the nicest person ever. She took her time with me and helped me find a style that fit my body perfectly and made me comfortable. She made the process of finding my wedding dress so easy. I am incredibly thankful for her and her help!!
I cannot say enough good things about Maureen and The Altar! The dresses the shop has are beautiful and the customer service is amazing. She has been so helpful in helping me find the perfect dress and she took the stress of dress shopping away. Their selection is gorgeous and they are truly great to work with! The Altar will provide you with such a fun and amazing dress shopping experience!
Danelle was seriously the best!! She was so helpful, not pushy at all, and made me feel so beautiful even with a mask on!Also the prices for the Alter Bridal are absolutely amazing! I didnt try on one dress that was out of my price range and I had so many amazing dresses to choose from! I would highly recommend shopping for your dress her and ask for Danelle!!
My stylist Ashley was amazing! She was so excited for my experience to try on wedding dresses, and she was super helpful. I had such a fun time trying on dresses, and she was constantly there for me. I highly recommend going to Altar Bridal as a place to shop for wedding dresses!!
My experience at the Altar Bridal in Centennial was amazing. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. The selection of dresses was really great and I left with the dress of my dreams. I would definitely recommend checking out the dresses here before heading to a larger chain.
Ashley was so amazing during my private qppointment and I got the most beautiful dress and Im so happy with how safe everything was!
I loved my experience at the Altar. After poor experiences at another bridal shop and a little bit of dress fatigue, Chandler helped me remember that dress shopping is fun! She was patient and helpful. She actually picked out the dress that I ended up with. They have a great selection at reasonable prices. I would absolutely recommended this place to anyone.
What an absolutely excellent experience, all the way around. If you stop reading now, please know that I am 100% satisfied. Maddie is amazing, and everyone at the shop is helpful and kind.I follow both Altar Bridal shops on instagram, and 2 days before I planned to drive down from Fort Collins, I commented on a post from one of them - I thought the one closer to FoCo - regarding scheduling an appointment. Instantly, I had a direct message in response, telling me that they could accommodate any time for me and my guests. With enthusiasm, I set up a Saturday appointment, and only after confirming, did I pull up a map to see that this was the further of the two stores - which we actually had not planned on going to. Alas, not wanting to be a jerk, I said to myself What the hell! Whats another 30 minutes of driving! and kept the appointment.WOW am I happy I did!!! Upon our arrival, we were introduced to Maddie, our style consultant. She was young and fresh, personable, kind, and put together. She asked questions, showed us around the shop, told us where to set down our bags, and told us to pull a bunch of dresses to start off the day.In the dressing room, Maddie was incredibly helpful - not at all shy about helping a mostly naked, grown woman try to shimmy, shake, and stuff herself into a giant gown! This was very different from the super hands-off approach that I had encountered the day prior at Dora Grace in Fort Collins. While we worked on getting me into these gowns, she consistently asked questions, but more than that, she talked about life, got a sense for who I was, and also gave me a sense of who she was. What I found exceptional about Maddie, specifically, that ultimately spoke to the store as well, was that she has a true passion for the work she does. She is educated in fashion. She knows how to read people. This is not a job for her, but a calling. She is insightful and in that, can assess her clients wants, needs, confidences, and quirks. She not only listened to me, but to my family as well. After seeing what worked for me, personally on all levels, she continued to pick dresses out for me and with me, and in the end, we came to The Perfect Gown. She was also honest, which trust me, I wanted from a professional before I made the decision of a lifetime.I hadnt gone into this trip thinking that I would end up with a dress so quickly. So, we tried the dress on a second time, after considering a few others, and in the end I asked to put it on hold. I asked for an honest opinion regarding the other Altar Bridal store in Lakewood that we had originally planned to go to, and I was given the exactly true answer. The Lakewood store, is more of a true consignment store, having been established for much longer, and having less sample gowns directly from the designers, and more from individual consignment. I was told that based on what we tried on that day, she thought there would be one or two gowns at the other store that I would like. She was spot on! There were two that I tried, but they both paled in comparison to The Dress in Centennial. The service and the atmosphere at Altar Bridal Lakewood, also paled in comparison to Centennial. Where Centennial is clean, bright, and the service is polished and hands on, Lakewood shows its age, feels dark and somewhat dank, and the service left a lot to be desired, including the attitudes and presentation of the employees. When youre going in to spend $500 to upwards of $2000 on one single dress, you want the atmosphere to match that cost. Lakewood is not lux. Conversely, even though both are consignment, Centennial is appropriately classy, if small. After going to 4 total places in one weekend and trying on 50 dresses, it became clear that not only was the selection and service at Altar Bridal Centennial the best, but that I would never find a more perfect, more beautiful dress, even if I searched for the rest of my life. We made the 1.5hr drive back down the next day, landing on their doorstep 4 minutes before closing, and purchased My Dress.
The ladies at Altar Bridal - Centennial were nothing short of fabulous! Danelle listened to my requests and had a keen eye for dresses to pull for me. She picked a dress I never would have picked for myself that I wound up saying “yes” to, and I’m absolutely in love! Service was great, selection was incredible and the prices on couture gowns get an A+. Highly recommend this boutique for your bridal shopping!
Ashley was amazing! She was so energetic, positive and helpful. I had been to at least 7 different bridal shops and she was by far my favorite assistant. She helped me find my wedding dress!
I was blown away at the customer service. Ashley made my dress shopping experience exactly what every bride dreams for. She was patient and attentive and very complimentary. I was never waiting around, Ashley explained the store to me and walked me around to show me their wide variety of dresses. I never felt rushed, everybody waited for me to pick out my ten dresses to try on. I had plenty of help in and out of dresses, she was always right there to fluff the gowns for pictures and suggest accessories as appropriate. I am beyond satisfied with my experience. The store was very clean and the area for my friends who helped me shop was cozy and comfortable. I saw many other staff members offering assistance and sharing excitement for other brides just like Ashley was doing for me.
I went to this store in early February 2020. I was very open minded with regard to the dress I wanted. I did not go in with a specific style, embroidery type, neckline, length, etc. Looking back, perhaps that was part of the reason I was so dang nervous for the appointment! I went in with my future mother-in-law, sister-in-law as well as a girlfriend of mine (along with a much needed bottle of champagne!). I was welcomed by the most friendly staff and a sea of white dresses in every style imaginable. An employee of the store, Brittany, jumped in and took on the challenge. I could not have had a better experience dress shopping. We went in early on a Saturday and basically had the store to ourselves. I was given the option of playing my favorite music on the store speakers while sipping on some liquid courage. Brittany was absolutely wonderful. All of the gals in my group were able to go around and pick one style we thought would look good and from there, we filtered out what we didnt like and kept what we liked. Brittany was available for any questions while at the same time not being too involved (if you know what I mean). She gave me room to breath and decide what I liked best. At one point, I went to use the restroom and noticed another rack of dresses I had not poked through. Turns out, these were dresses that were worn once (most of the store is actually made up of dresses that are samples, as far as I know - one style, never worn). I picked out something I thought would look good and turns out, it fit like a glove. I loved it. The best part? It was $200! Unbelievable deal. All in all, it took me about 1.5 hours to pick out my wedding dress and what I thought would be a stressful time turned out to be a very fun experience. It was the one and only store I went to and I am so glad I did. Brittany was wonderful and kind. Go in with an open mind and you will not be disappointed. Thank you Altar Bridal :)
I LOVED my experience at The Altar Bridal! Danelle was so amazing to work with. She really cared that I found the perfect dress for me, regardless if that was dress at their store or another store. She took the time to teach me and my family about the different dress styles, take pictures of each dress, and really think about what features I liked and didnt like. I ended up finding the most unique and perfect dress for me at The Altar Bridal and couldnt be happier! I searched at other stores and none of the other places had dresses as unique as the ones at The Altar Bridal!
Simply amazing!! My mother and I decided to check this place out from a friends recommendation and could not be happier. The staff is friendly, Bri was amazing! Great selection in all styles and price ranges. I am floored I found the perfect dress for a fraction of what I thought I was going to spend! Could not recommend this place and staff enough❤❤❤
I have never tried on any wedding dresses prior and was amazed by their selection and prices. My wedding is next year and I went with my Mom just to look and found my dream dress. Not only were the prices fantastic but the dresses as well. The staff was professional, patient and knowledgeable. My consultant Mary was bubbly and honest which i appreciated. I was there for 3 hours and loved every minute. I also purchased my Vail to match my dress. It was a wonderful experience and I would happily recommend them to everyone!
My experience of purchasing my dress was great. However, this was overshadowed by my horrible experiences afterwards. It started with a water stain on the front of the dress I found after my first fitting. The dress came with a complimentary cleaning so after it was altered I had it cleaned. Remember this is in Denver, I live in Grand Junction...I got my dress back after the final alteration and took it out to find the lace had been damaged in more than one place, and more than one button in the back had come off revealing the hardware underneath. I had to find someone in town to fix it (who was actually really awesome in getting it done quick and right). After many phone calls NO ONE acted like they cared. I was questioned as to why I brought it to the seamstress THEY recommend who WORKS FOR THEM. I was also told you should have the dress cleaned THEN altered. This is my one and only wedding dress - how am I supposed to know that??? Then a week before my wedding I put it on a second time and noticed that the dress shrunk in length, but the slip didn’t. Meaning 2 inches of it stuck out. Thankfully my aunt is a seamstress and was able to fix it. However, this meant I was not able to wear the shoes I wanted. My wedding day was magical and wonderful. However, in some photos (if I’m standing upright enough), the dress does not meet the ground like it was supposed to). All the stress this company induced was totally uncalled for and could have been avoided.
All I can say is WOW. The Altar was my first bridal shopping experience and I found my gown after trying on only 4 dresses... yes 4! It was EXACTLY what I was looking for (I’m type A and need all my boxes checked), for an absolutely unbeatable price. My dress looks like it sells for at least $4k retail, but I snagged it for under $1k. The girls at the shop were upbeat and extremely helpful in my search. I got lots of 1 on 1 attention during my appointment. They dressed me in the full ensemble to give me an idea of how it would look all together and even let me see it in natural light. Since it’s a sample dress, they professionally clean and fix any minor problems wrong with the gown at the time you buy it (on their dime), which is amazing. It’s like getting a brand new dress! They have a seamstress on site that you can book with. I would highly recommend for any bride that’s on a budget, but still wants a one of a kind, beautiful designer dress. This place is very special.
Altar Bridal was my first experience with wedding dress shopping and it couldnt have been better! I was pleasantly surprised by both the fabulous selection and the great prices. Ashley made the whole experience fun and stress free, and I left with my perfect wedding dress within my budget (the first dress I tried on, of course :) )
I am so glad I chose to go here for my wedding dress. The prices and selection were fantastic and they had just what I envisioned. Carly was absolutely, hands down the sweetest consultant I had met and made my experience unforgettable. The staff really went above and beyond at making me feel special. Not to mention their sales are pretty good too ;)
I had such an amazing experience! I wasn’t planning on finding THE dress so soon but my mom and I were excited so we decided to stop by and see what their selection was like. We didn’t have an appointment but we were treated like we did. We ended up purchasing the 1st (and only) dress that I tried on. Call me crazy for only trying on one, but it was the dress of my dreams and even my favorite designer!! The cherry on top was the price! Everyone made my mom and I feel amazing and we didn’t want to leave! Thank you to Mary and all of the other women who helped us during this special moment!
My experience at The Alter Bridal was more than I could have asked for. My consultant took the time getting to know me and my future sister in law (also shopping for a dress that day). She was kind and very caring. I was able to find a beautiful dress that was exactly in my budget!!
I just got engaged and this was my first time trying on wedding dresses. My appointment was so fun! And the lady that helped me was named Bri (10/10 recommend Bri! She was so nice and made me feel so special and she was very knowledgeable!). They have a large selection to choose from and it was divided by dress sizes so it was super easy to shop. Because of Covid we had to make an appointment online but I really appreciated the precautions that they took. Especially since I brought my mother and grandmother with me. I felt safe and it was very clean.
The shopping experience here was excellent. I love that you dont have to schedule an appointment weeks ahead of time! I was shocked at how big the selection was. I had way more fun here looking for a dress than I did at the other shops. I ended up finding a gorgeous dress for way less than I was planning on spending. I also love the woman who does the alterations, she took so much time with me to make sure my perfect dress would be even more perfect, and the pricing on the alterations is also the most reasonable Ive found. Everyone here is passionate about what they do and clearly committed to making sure their clients have a wonderful experience!
I had a fantastic experience shopping for my wedding dress here! Mary and staff were knowledgeable, fun, and helpful throughout the process. I got to pull as many dresses from their very wide selection as I wanted. Some places I went only allowed you to pull 5 or so dresses yourself and then picked the others for you. Mary told me which racks I could fit into and then set me loose to pull whatever I wanted! I found a dress that I absolutely love for an amazing price. Would absolutely recommend!
I had such a wonderful experience at The Altar Bridal at Centennial!Maureen the owner was so uplifting, kind and fun to work with. She took the time to find out what sort of dress I was picturing myself in, and ended up pulling my dress that I fell in love with that I wouldn’t have seen otherwise. She was really knowledgeable about the dresses, materials, and what sort of alterations could be done to make my dream dress fit, and she fit my dress and veil into our budget- I so appreciate her help and how fun and easy she made the experience! The following day I started second guessing my dress after seeing a picture that showed much more cleavage than I thought I was showing. I panicked, knowing I was leaving town and wasn’t going to see the dress until Christmas and was heartbroken that I wasn’t confident in or excited about the dress I bought. The manager Mary scheduled a next day appointment before my flight and fit my mom and I in to try my dress on again- Mary is such an angel! 10/5 stars. She took so much time showing me how my dress could be altered to fit me perfectly, and I had plenty of time to take better pictures. She went above and beyond to make sure my mom and I felt amazing about our purchase. She made me feel like a queen in my dress. I can’t say enough great things about her!I highly recommend shopping here!
Angel was a great stylist, very receptive to my critiques of the dresses and super respectful of my budget, which I was nervous about. She took the time to go slow and let me try on as many dresses ad I wanted, given that this was my first bridal shop experience. I found a great dress way under budget and couldnt be happier!
Thank you to the Alter and Bri! First, I appreciate all they did to make me feel special as I searched for my dress in the time of COVID. I also loved that my mom and sister could still be there. But probably equally important was that Bri and the Alter let my mother-in-law participate via FaceTime. I know it can be annoying having FaceTime going in public but she lives in NC and it was important she was there. Even though my dress turned out to be the first dress I tried on, I appreciated trying on other dresses to make sure that was the one. Lastly, Bri was amazing! Super helpful and patience with my family and I while we took the moment in. This meant a lot of us as I am the first daughter to get married, and this was the first time trying on dresses for me. Thank you!
I only went to 1 shop prior to the altar bridal in Centennial... and boy I should have just gone here first! I had the best experience and they really know their stuff. I was never pushed to buy a certain type of dress or buy something I wasnt completely comfortable in. I was given their full attention which also included the people that came with me. They have such a variety of dresses at a great price! I am all about NOT spending a ton and out of all the dresses I tried on, ALL were in my budget range. I highly recommend going here just solely based on their customer service. They get extra bonus points for their dress selection.
I wouldnt even give this a star! This place was suppose to be open for my private bridal party on Saturday. We called that morning to confirm they were going to be there at 5 pm for us and the manager said there would be two people at the store waiting for us. My bridal party of 12 and I showed up and waited almost an hour outside in the cold to see if anyone was going to show up! Tried to call and reach someone and had to leave a voicemail. I would not recommend this place at all, highly unprofessional!! No one had the respect to call and let us know they wouldnt be there. I would definitely go to Davids Bridal they are so helpful and knowledgable, they have such affordable dresses and I said YES! TO THE DRESS!!
Mary was amazing! She understands that the bride is the focus, not the dress. My daughter ended up with something entirely different than what she thought she wanted. (In fact, we sacrificed a deposit we had already placed on another dress after finding the perfect one here.) Mary has the patience of a saint. She even took the time to give my daughter a quick updo to get the full effect when trying on. Very comfortable, no pressure atmosphere. Mary will work with your budget and give totally honest feedback. She is very in tune with the bride and realizes that it is as much about how the bride feels as how she looks. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
I had such a wonderful time here. I worked with maureen who is the owner of the store and she was fantastic. She totally got me and was encouraging and fun. She knew the inventory so well. There are a lot of great options here and it’s so fun to hunt to find the perfect dress for you. I truly believe there’s something here for everyone and at such amazing price points. I found my dream dress here and it was the second place I went to look. I bought it and a veil and am so happy with the process and my purchase. It’s an amazing high end designer gown that I got for a fraction of the price.
I went to The Altar Bridal - Centennial and had the most amazing experience! Mary greeted us and helped select different dresses to try on. She had great feedback and insight and offered a killer deal on a dress. She even stayed open late to accommodate me coming back just before closing and letting me try on my dress again! I cant say enough about my experience at this location and highly recommend brides coming here before making any final decisions!
I recently went dress shopping for my wedding dress, and the gal who worked with me was very sweet and kind, very helpful and had good recommendations. My mother, sisters and I had a fantastic time while we were there, and I think it was partly because of how friendly, professional, efficient and helpful our assistant was during my search. I found a great dress and left feeling well attended to. I also love that they allow customers to re-consign their dresses, so while my dress was initially more than I intended to spend, I know that I will get some of those funds back and someone else will be able to enjoy this beautiful dress. They were great to work with, and I highly recommend them for a dress shop, especially when working with a more modest wedding budget!
I sold them my dress for 70 dollars, since they said they would only be able to get around 200 or so for it. I bought the dress for a thousand. I went back to see and they had it for sale for 800 DOLLARS. I felt scammed and cheated. I could not believe it, that is an insane profit. DO NOT SELL YOUR DRESS HERE! They obviously scam you and make high profits off of it. They are ripping off the seller and the buyer.
The staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. We had a blast and she said Yes to the Dress! I surprised my daughter by purchasing the dress and they worked with me on payments. The dress had makeup on it and they sent it out for cleaning on their dime... Which I know is probably standard but the store we went to before this would not. Next we will be going back for alterations. Thank you for the pleasant experience and for letting us toast with our champagne. Special shout out to Sydney! Thank you again...
I was putting off buying a dress, because of lack of family or friends in the area that could help, schedule, and other factors. I decided to take a chance at the Alter Bridal because I had seen it on my way to work almost every day. I also knew I did not want to buy a new dress, because they depreciate like a car, and it helps the budget. I was considering online places such as still white, but not being able to try on the dress was a scary concept.I went alone, because my family and friends are all in other states, and it was too hard to get everyone together. The place is deceptively larger than you think by looking in from the outside. I was helped by Victoria, she was very thoughtful, familiar with the industry, and sensible. She asked me some questions about my venue, the size of the event, and types of dresses I was interested in. This was a very laid back atmosphere, and I could look on my own, or ask for help. There wasn’t that desperation of someone needing to make commission, very comfortable.I tried on dresses I thought I liked, but ended up with something I wasn’t initially sure about. I was very surprised how easy it was to find a dress. Victoria was very accommodating taking pictures to send to friends and family, and alleviating any problems with the dresses by pointing out what the alterations could be to make the dress more to my taste. I was reassured with my purchase, because all damages would be repaired, and it would be cleaned. They also set you up with the neighboring alterations, which makes it easy to come back to the same strip mall. I enjoyed my experience, it was relatively easy, and no pressure. I feel like you could come back if you didn’t find what you were looking for the first time with the frequently changing inventory and another location.
What a great experience!! I would highly recommend!! Chandler was incredibly lovely to work with! Extremely attentive, helpful, and just so so kind! Thank you, Chandler, for helping me say Yes to the perfect dress!!
I cant say enough good things about this place. They let me put two dresses on hold, and I put a down payment on them. When I came back, I wasnt loving the second dress and they let me swap it out for a different one and applied the deposit to that. They were so accommodating and helpful. I came out to their shop three times and the other location twice, and never were they exasperated with me. I recommend everyone to go here and to the Lakewood store. They also keep up with their instagram, which is how I found the short dress I bought. Stock is mostly new as well. Love, love, love the Altar.
I went to 14 different places to find my wedding dress. The Altar Bridal was by far the best experience I had at any of them. Victoria was wonderful to work with. She went straight to work pulling dresses and figuring out my style. The first time I was there I tried bout 40 dresses and she was very patient and supportive through the entire process. She adjusted to my needs and let me pull my own dresses without a dressing room limit. She also let me get in and out of the dress on my own which cut time dramatically from my other experiences. I ended up going back a second time and finally found the perfect one at a great price. I would suggest this location to any bride.
I said yes to the dress at The Altar Bridal and couldnt be happier! I got a beautiful dress with a gorgeous belt all within my budget. Mary was amazing and was very cautious of my budget and did not let me go over! I would recommend a hundred times over!
Danelle was AMAZING!! My sister found her dress and she looks amazing in it!!!!!!! Danelle was an amazing experience. She picked something for my sis that my sis didn’t think she wanted. And the dress is amazing!
This is the best place in town to look for a dress! After looking at multiple places and not finding anything affordable, I found Maureen. It was like shopping with my sister who knew exactly what I wanted. I had CHOICES! I was am so elated with my dress. They are very affordable and have all sizes!!! And if I want to sell if after my big day she will put it on consignment for me! How great is that!!!!
Maureen was wonderful and patient while I tried on probably 30 dresses. My cousins were able to join in on the fun and pick some out for me as well. The Altar consignment has such great prices and such a wide variety of dresses (dont be fooled like I was when you first walk in, theres a whole other room full of dresses). So glad I picked my wedding dress out there instead of spending so much more money on a smaller selection at other bridal stores.
These Amazing ladies saved my wedding I came in right before closing the day before my wedding and in a state of panic, they stayed open to help me find my dream dress within my small budget I would recommend the alter to any bride that is looking for the most exquisite dresses ever!! So helpful and friendly and I simply cannot thank them enough!!! Thanks love the Disney Bride Cryztal
Great experience from the second we walked in! They were very welcoming and friendly. We found the perfect dress and they were extremely helpful with the price as well. Definitely recommend it if your looking for an experience that is not so overwhelming. They let you do your own looking but are quickly available if you have questions.
I love this store, I had went to Davids bridal first and it was not fun or exciting. I walked in here and had the best experience. I found my beautiful dress. She was very helpful and sweet. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. Their dresses are so beautiful!
I said yes to the dress here! I had scheduled an appointment here with my family and then popped into the Lakewood location where I fell in love with a beaded dress for under $400. The locations coordinated transfer to this location so my family could still be part of the process and they helped me pick the perfect accessories (including a gorgeous belt from a local designer). You really get the boutique experience at steep discounts.
I rarely give reviews but received a text prompting me to... my dress shopping experience was good and the staff was very nice. I ended up purchasing a dress that I had doubts about but the staff assured me it was the “one”. I know how silly that sounds, but it did look nice and even after explaining the rustic, casual wedding I was going after, I was told I was going in the right direction. I still was unsure after getting home with the dress and consulted some friends who I wish could have been there. They agreed that the dress was lovely but so out of tune for the motif. I knew I signed a final sale bill but had hoped that since it was 1-2 days from purchase, they would provide some type of buyers remorse window. This was not the case... they told me to resell it on my own. The dress hasn’t been worn nor altered, still in the bag as it was given to me. Technically they could resell it and make their profit again. I know some of the dresses are on consignment but was told this dress had never been worn (at least at a wedding/event). That it was a sample dress. So it’s unlikely that it was on consignment. I understand that I hold ownership here but feel they could have taken it back in the little time that had passed.
I found a beautiful dress for a great price. We scheduled an appointment and worked with Mary. Mary was very helpful and respectful of my budget. I would recommend this to any bride!
Such a great store! Very clean, ladies there are friendly and eager to help. Good selection, even for just opening recently. Prices are great! I found my dress here; first one I tried on. I got a brand new dress for a fraction of the price. And I absolutely love it!
I found my dress here! The staff were very professional and speedy. Even though I was not the only bride they were looking after I never had to wait on anyone. They had a great selection of dresses and offered alteration services. My dress was discounted by the seller, so I feel like I got a great deal! The only thing that rubbed me a little bit wrong was when I informed them I was heading out of town they didnt clarify that many of the perks they were talking about before wouldnt apply. Overall a productive trip and came home with a stunning dress.
I was so nervous to shop for a wedding gown but my experience at The Altar Bridal Consignment was beyond amazing! They had a great selection of dresses and made me and my fiancé feel very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I never felt pressured to buy a gown. I came in on a Saturday and tried on four gowns. I fell in love with one, but I wanted to take some time to think about it. I came back the very next day to purchase my gown. I love my dress and loved my experience at this store!
I had a great experience here. I walked in for my (first ever wedding dress) appointment ahead of a group of 12 or so. Ashley at the front desk immediately ushered us into the back to have some privacy. I think if the store had remained packed it could have been a less pleasant experience, but they’ve done a nice job separating out spaces, and I never felt like people were intruding on my appointment. My consultant Dannelle had a great eye. After the first dress I tried on and hearing my comments, Danelle had a great sense of what I was looking for and what looked good on me. She pulled a dress for me to try on that was absolutely perfect. She was a little impatient with some of our questions about the alterations needed on the dress (I think it would be helpful for them to have an expert on staff who could speak to the alteration process, estimated costs, etc). At the end, the “make the sale” pressure came on a little strong where it hadn’t been there throughout the appointment. Otherwise she was fantastic to work with.**Update-- at my appointment, Dannelle suggested that the cost for alteration would be minimal, however, the tailor I am working with (who I trust) indicated that the design of the dress I purchased made alterations very detailed and complicated. It wouldnt have changed my mind about the dress, but I would encourage people who are being super mindful of cost that the $200 tailoring estimate turned out to be $750**
My best friend took me here after we went the normal round and I was close to pulling the trigger on a $6k gown at another salon. we walked in and Mary immediately greeted us, asking what my style was, etc. I told her what I was leaning towards and she pulled every single dress in the store that fit the criteria. I could not believe some of the gowns they had - this is not an outdated store, none of their gowns are worn down... these are in better shape then the sample gowns at most boutiques! We found the one. I am still in shock. I feel like I bought a dior gown off the runway (I ended up purchasing an Anne Barge), for a fraction of everything else I was looking at. Also found the perfect veil. Ladies you need to at least go in and see, their selection changes but you don’t have to make an appointment and Mary (the manager) could not be a better fit for the store. She’s better than the sales girls at the high end salons here. You will really appreciate her knowledge and help - no upselling or pressure.
I felt so comfortable and seen. I had 4 other dress appointments scheduled for this weekend and I fell in love with the most perfect affordable dress at altar bridal centennial!!
I found the perfect dress here with the help of Sydney and Victoria. They were so wonderful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Im super happy with my dress and I got it at a fraction of the price! Definitely check it out.
I had tried 5 stores during two miserable weekends before I found this little gem. My mom and I were constantly arguing because I wanted an affordable dress and she wanted top of the line designer dresses. When I walked in I saw the same dresses as most of the other boutiques but for a fraction of the price. I didnt even have an appointment but the ladies helped me all the same and we finally found address that my mom and I both love. I cannot express how grateful I am to find this treasure trove. Highly recommend!!
Tried to sell my wedding dress with their consignment system. Followed their strict rules according to the contract. Had a crazy month and it slipped my mind to call and see if my dress had sold. When I called a few days later I was told that I since I didn’t call the previous month that I voided the contract and I “donated the dress.” I felt a little better that at least my dress had gone to someone who needed a helping had. Except I found out that by donating my dress they meant that I had donated it to Altar Bridal. It was still in their shop for sale. Sketchy way to run a business.
I went in a couple of weeks ago with my best friend to browse for wedding dresses. Ill be completely honest, we werent really interested in buying a dress, we were just beginning to look and get ideas of what types of dresses I wanted. I was really nervous because Im not like a size 0 so I wasnt really expecting anything to fit anyway. Maureen kindly welcomed us and made me feel at ease. I told her that I had a VERY low budget and she told me that it was perfectly fine and would help me get the perfect dress. I started looking around and felt a little overwhelmed since it was my first time looking at dresses. Maureen picked most of the dresses and I picked some also. The first dress I tried on was her pick. I couldnt believe how perfect it fit. It didnt need any alterations at all. It was so beautiful that I knew that was the dress for me. They couldnt get me out of it because of how much I was staring at myself in the mirror!! It honestly felt like that dress was made JUST for me and it was just waiting for me to get there. When I got back to the dressing room and the other dresses suddenly seemed not as beautiful as the one that I picked. I didnt even want to try them on or look at any others. Maureen found the one for me. I love this place for treating me like a queen and making me feel so special. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family members.
The staff was amazing and helped make my best friend feel like a queen!
Found the perfect dress. Great prices
I had such a wonderful experience! It was fun, easy, super comfortable, and definitely affordable. Staff was very friendly and understanding. This was my first stop and I left with the dress I absolutely LOVE!
I had a great experience here with Izzi helping me out. This was my first visit to a bridal store to try on dresses. It was very fun and Izzi was a great help. I didnt find the right dress this visit but the store is great!
Altar Bridal was great! The selection of dresses was amazing and I was able to find a beautiful dress I could not have afforded anywhere else. The staff was incredibly helpful and engaging. They stayed open late for our group and were incredibly friendly!
We went today for my daughter who is getting married in November. Best experience!! They were so helpful and attentive! Will recommend them to everyone!
Made an appointment for 5pm on a Saturday, called and confirmed the morning of and nobody showed up! What a joke!!! Bad business for sure!
Bad experience for anyone trying to sell a dress. Terrible communication and they threaten to keep your dress if you don’t follow their specific rules. Every time I call to get an update on my dress I am told I will get a call back and it never happens.
Everything was amazing. They have a great selection of dresses up to a size 34. They dont try to pressure you into buying a dress or try to upsell you anything. Everyone was very nice. They do offer appointment or walk-in. Absolutley amazing experience. Highly recommend going here to find your wedding dress.
This place was okay. I think if you are trying to find the really high end designer dresses for a reasonable price (think lots of beading, lace all over, etc.), this is probably a good place. I didnt see a lot below the $1000 mark. The staff are all friendly and helpful, although I felt like the person I worked with wasnt as knowledgable as some of the people Id encountered at other shops. One thing I though was odd was that pretty much everything I tried on here would have needed significant alteration to fit me, which was not the case at other places I visited. Im not really an odd size. Maybe just an artifact of the higher end dresses? Also thought it a bit troubling that none of the dresses on the rack were in protective bags - Id be worried about getting a damaged dress that way. All that said, I liked that it was a smaller place, made the whole thing a lot less overwhelming, and they did have some pretty cool dresses to try on, even if none of them were the one for me!
I visited this Altar as well as the Centennial store. I found two dresses here that I loved, but I ended up going with one I found at the Lakewood location.First of all, I think the selection of dresses at this Altar is better than the selection in Lakewood, but the dresses I tried on in Centennial were pricier on average. The store is clean and well-organized, and the ladies who work there are nice. However, I felt like my consultant might have been new because she seemed confused by some basic questions that I had about the dress and kept running off right when I was in need of a zip.The other thing that made this store a 4 and not a 5 for me is a detail that still baffles me: Why are the dresses not hanging in garment bags? I realize its a pain to take the dresses in and out, but several times I went to pull a dress out and found the hook and eye caught on some lace or beading. One of the dresses I really liked had loose beading and was stained. The manager told me that the dress would get a free cleaning but that I would have to foot the bill to fix the beading. (Maybe Im biased, but I had been to a consignment bridal store in Colorado Springs, and my consultant there made it clear that she herself would fix the beading before I even bought the dress.)If you are looking for a dress under $1000, this is a great place to go. Although lots of the dresses are a little pricy for consignment, they are beautiful, and most of the consigners have a low price that you can ask for to get a better deal. Just keep in mind that alterations could cost you several hundred dollars if the dress needs a lot of work.
So helpful when my friend was looking for her wedding dress. They were so helpful and made the experience so fun!
Nice store. Good selection
Maureen was such a joy to work with. I went in with no real idea of what type of dress I wanted or how much I wanted to spend, and I walked away with the perfect dress at a budget-friendly price. I look forward to going back in for my alterations this weekend! Highly recommend to any bride!
I wanted to share my experience at Altar Bridal because they turned what could have been a 1-star review around into a 5-star experience. I visited the Centennial location while on vacation in Colorado and found the dress I loved. It had a few buttons missing and some dust around the hemline, but I was told that I was getting last years dress for half the price of a new one. I was excited, thought I got a good deal, and took the dress back home to Florida that weekend. My experience went south when I got home and started to research the dress. I learned that it was a four-year-old dress and that it was selling online for a fraction of what I paid. I was so disappointed that I hadnt researched the dress prior to purchasing and got caught up in the excitement of getting last years sample at half price. Normally, I look everything up, but emotions can run high when you think youve found your dress. I e-mailed the shop owner that I felt deceived and ripped off, and I wouldnt have normally bought a slightly damaged 4-year-old dress, or at least wouldnt have paid what I did for it. She called me the next day and offered to refund the difference between what I paid and what was a fair price for it based on the online resale value. I received a check in the mail just a few days later.Buying a wedding dress should be a great experience for a bride, and nobody wants to look at their dress and think they were misled in their purchase in any way. The owner completely understood my concerns and apologized that there was a miscommunication about the dresss age. She agreed that I could have negotiated the price had I known the dress was four times older than the salesperson said. Most importantly, she immediately took the steps to correct the mistake. I really appreciate it when a business can own their mistakes, apologize, and find a way to fix it. Im really happy that Im not writing a 1-star review, and Im even happier knowing I paid a fair price for my wedding dress.
Beautiful Unique Gowns, Friendly Sales People, Clean and Cozy Shop.
I went in there not knowing what I wanted and no idea what I was looking for. Everyone was so amazing and really made me feel like a priority. I ended up walking out with a beautiful unique dress, a matching vail and headpiece.
Do NOT go here! This place is a scam! They told me my dress was a one of a kind, brand new couture dress.... Turns out it was 8-10 years old! And appraised at 1/8th the price! Not to mention - Terrible to work with. Not accommodating or flexible. Worst experience. Please please do not let this happen to you! DONT go here!
I loved everything about my experience at The Altar Bridal Consignment! It was low key, it had good energy, and we felt well cared for and excited about my new dress!!!! I would highly recommend this Bridal Consignment to any bride:)
My friend made an appointment and three of us plus her went to the appointment. We all picked out dresses and then my friend tried them all on. Maureen helped her with each one, gave great advice, was patient and extremely helpful and when it came down to picking the right one, she put it over the top with her honest, sincere comments. The dresses were well-priced, plenty to choose from and they do the alterations onsite with a quick turnaround of a couple of days not weeks. Maureen even stayed after closing to make sure we had the dress that my friend wanted and we never even knew that we had kept her late on a Saturday. We had gone to Nordstroms before this and it was the worst!! We had, also, gone to Davids Bridal and it was so-so. My friend got a WOW dress with awesome customer service! Who would have thought that we could get such a great experience at a consignment store? Thanks Maureen!!
Seems like a good selection of dresses. Fitting rooms need better lighting. They use fluorescents.
I loved my experience! Enjoyed the service!
Chandler is the most helpful sweet lady!!! She found me the veil I fell in LOVE with!!!
I feel bad giving such a bad review to the owner. The shop itseld actually did an amazing job helping my fiancee find a dress. But they recommended the worst alteration shop in Denver. Five reschedule, overcharges, and headaches later we picked up the dress the morning we were driving down to new mexico. Becouse of that I cant recommend this shop to anyone becouse I cant trust their judgment.
Great selection, friendly stuff. They have samples very reasonably priced. Also current designer dresses.
The Altar South has hundreds of dresses to chose from! Most of the gowns are new/sample and they have amazing prices! Loved this shop!
Beautiful store. We found exactly what we were looking for
Ripped my fiancé off. Buyer beware before purchasing here.
Amazing!
