I dont love writing sub-par reviews, but my experience with Appliance 911 couldnt have left me more displeased. I caution anyone with an immune-compromised family member, skip Appliance 911 and continue looking.Lets start with the positives:- Quick response on a holiday weekend. The 911 part was accurate, and they were there for me when I needed them. They answered the phone, answered my questions, and were able to make a house call the very next day (bonus points, a holiday week).- Truly seemed to know appliances, talked me through what could be happening by phone and was somewhat thorough in-person.And where they fell short:- If you are social distancing or have an immune-compromised family member, Appliance 911 is not for you. The technician who responded to my home arrived late and was not wearing a mask. From the window, I motioned for him to put one on before coming inside. His response? A major eye roll and then he pulled a dirty, thin, paper mask out of his pocket. Clearly it had been used and re-used, as it was more soiled than his hands were. I apologized and told him my son is immune-compromised.- We had just moved into our home, and our carpet had just been professionally cleaned and was still wet. I had booties ready for him to wear so he did not walk on our white carpet with dirty shoes (it was snowy/muddy outside). Again, an eye roll.- Upon leaving, he verbally expressed his displeasure and disrespect for our family. While I loved their response time, I felt so yucky afterward about this experience and disappointed that after our initial interaction at the door, that I even brought him in the door. Next time, Ill look elsewhere that respects my home and my family in the process.
My washing machine broke mid-cycle. I found Mario on a local neighborhood website (all great reviews) and was very impressed with his professionalism. He returned my phone call in a reasonable amount of time and walked me through a quick diagnosis over the phone. As I thought, my washer was busted and not worth fixing. His kindness and honesty was much appreciated and saved me an expensive service fee that Im sure other businesses were craving to steal from me. He even took his time over the phone to answer my questions and steer me in the right direction for new products. I highly recommend, at the very least, contacting Mario for your needs! Youll, no doubt, see what I mean.
Mario is amazing. If you are looking for a local small business to support, he would be a good choice. He is professional, creative, honest, and responsive. About a year ago we had a board on our dishwasher that had obviously shorted out, and instead of telling us to get a new appliance, or replace the board, he simply resoldered at his shop, and fixed a perfectly good appliance. Do yourself a favor, and go to him first, before you try someone else. Ive referred several people to him, and everyone has had the same 17-star experience. Awesome job.
I needed someone to diagnose why my refrigerator and freezer suddenly stopped cooling. Mario came out and was on time, but I was disappointed he did not wear a face mask. He did diagnose the issue as being the compressor, but said it may not be worth replacing at around $850, and he does not replace compressors. My issue was that he put 3 long, visible scratches (12 to 21) in my hardwood floor when he moved the fridge. I would think someone working with applicances would know better and he did not offer to reduce the $80 fee.
Mario serviced my refrigerator today and was very nice and respectful and did a great job. He gave me some helpful hints for maintenance.I will absolutely be calling him again.
He worked with my schedule and was on time. He found the problem with my fridge and gave me the price it would cost for him to fix it. But he recommended that I just go to home depot and get the hose and put it on myself. He showed me exactly how to put the hose on and let me know that I should let it run for 10-15 min before pushing the fridge back, in case of leaks. Super professional and very helpful. Loved that he gave me the option to fix it myself to help me save some money. Great experience will be recommending him to everyone.
Mario came out today to look at our dishwasher and did a great job. We were afraid we were going to have to buy a new one but he was able to quickly identify and solve the problem. He also gave us some tips for maintaining our washer that we werent aware of. Mario was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous and we will definitely be using him in the future for all of our appliance repairs. Thank you, Mario!
Mario came out to fix our refrigerator within hours. He was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and honest! Saved us a lot of money by fixing our fridge! Highly recommended!
My personal experience with this company was unfortunately a really bad one... Mario, the (“Technician” ) arrived late to the appointment to start things off. In the future Mario, you might want to call the Customer if your going to arrive outside the 2 hour window you provide so they know and can alter any plans they may have already made..Secondly, Mario arrived with his briefcase of “tools” but never pulled any of them out or did any type of test on my Dryer to see what the actual problem was. After about 20 mins of being at my house and sliding dryer around, he said “it’s the motor” .. “I’ve seen this a hundred times“ .. well Mario, fortunately for me this was found to not be the case and I was able to throw away the $400 plus quote you provided me. The actual problem was a $7 thermal fuse. You might wanna actually earn that “trip charge” next time and run a test or two.. Buyer beware of these scam artists !!
Mario was helpful in scheduling an appointment over the phone. Brian was our technician and he called to let me know he was available earlier than we had scheduled. He was fast, friendly, and fixed the issue we were having the same day after quickly running back out to get the part we needed. I now know who to call for our future appliance repair needs. Thanks guys!
I call Mario every time I have an appliance that needs repair. He has fixed several things every time I call and is always prompt and professional. I call him for recommendations on other services that are not offered by Appliance 911 and I am still happy every time.
Mario is fantastic. Hes absolutely trustworthy, and he knows his stuff. If you need help with an appliance question or issue, Marios your guy.We needed help with a 1969-vintage stove in our travel trailer. We were worried we may have a propane leak. To my dismay, people seemed waaay hesitant to take on the job: Id already been turned down by a couple of other appliance repair techs in the area when I got hold of Mario. (Id found his name and info on Nextdoor -- several neighbors were highly complimentary of him.) Fortunately, Marios attitude was, A stoves a stove, right? And anyway, he had experience fixing peoples in-home propane stoves out in the mountains. He agreed to come out a couple days later to take a look.Mario showed up right on time. And as it turned out, our stove was functioning just fine. But we know this with full confidence now, because Mario invested time in testing all the connections and ensuring that we truly had nothing to worry about. Peace of mind like that? Priceless.Mario brings all his experience to the table to help you with your problem. Hes also a pleasure to work with: responsive, friendly, detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and utterly fair in his pricing. Ive saved his info, and will absolutely call Mario first next time I need help with an appliance!
Fast service, very professional.Didnt oversell the work needed on my fridge and gave me instructions on how to troubleshoot myself. Highly recommend!!
I was thoroughly pleased with the service of Appliance 911. We had an issue with a new-ish (~2 years) Clothes Dryer, and found Appliance 911 via a Google search. We will now be recommending Mario to others we know who need appliance service needs. We were able to schedule an appointment on a Friday after calling on a Wednesday afternoon (other services wanted to push to the following week). Mario showed up, and was professional from the start - with a nice sense of humor. He was descriptive on what he was doing, and helped us to understand the issue. When the problem was a peculiar model of heating element, and not one of the six kept on the truck; Mario tracked it down through a local supplier, and returned that afternoon to finish the job.If youre looking for quality appliance service, at a reasonable price, Mario and Appliance 911 is for you!
My refrigerator broke and Mario was able to come out within an hour or two, and other companies wouldnt be out for a day or two. Once he got here he got right to it and was honest. I really appreciated his work, and I highly recommend this company.
Very, very rude. Refused to answer questions about himself or company. Would not answer any questions regarding repairs asIm just the renter. Looked at stove... did nothing but claim Xcel over exaggerated. Right in front of my 4 year old granddaughter. Per City of Centennial..he is not licensed with the city.
Mario did a great job and was very prompt! Highly recommend him.
NO CALL, NO SHOW !!!! Very unprofessional and we still have a broken refrigerator.
