Furniture Medic rebuilt the frames and supports of my cabinets after water damage had destroyed the originals. You cannot tell a difference from before, everything fit perfectly, their system of support means there is no more water absorbing material in contact with the floor if we have another problem. And to top it off, the installation team was fantastic, they kept our curious cat from sneaking in the garage as they went in and out, something that was not always the case with the other contractors putting the house back together. The installers also very nicely and with no advance notice managed to put trim on the bottom of the only cabinet not damaged and were able to cover a sizable gap left by the flooring installers. Top notch all around!

Joe and the entire Team was fantastic to work with. We had the unfortunate experience of having to navigate through a water loss. Thanks to Furniture Medic, they were able to get our kitchen stabilized and usable while we worked through the water mitigation and insurance process. Without Furniture Medic, we would not have had a working kitchen during the put back journey!

Our tech, Eric, was professional and friendly. Right from the beginning he confirmed what work we were expecting and detailed the process. This was very helpful - we knew there was no need for us to keep looking over his shoulder, to check the progress. To protect our floor from any scratches, dirt, etc he put a covering on the area where he was working!Work was completed on time and most importantly - it looks like new. Beautiful work!My wife & I Highly recommend Furniture Medic!

During the mold remediation we thought that the countertop would have to be removed in order to get the damaged cabinets out. However, someone told me about Furniture Medic and they came and were able to support the countertop and remove the damaged cabinets. They then took them back to their facility and fixed the damaged sides, then returned them and reinstalled them. Nothing short of amazing! Ben was the lead worker and his attention to detail and professionalism were appreciated. I just cant say enough good things about their work. Wonderful company! Thank you.

I could not be happier with the work done by Furniture Medic. Furniture Medic evaluates what work is needed, gives an estimate of the cost and time it will take to complete that work. The job is done beautifully, professionally, on time, and for the cost previously discussed. From the first call to final delivery, Furniture Medic exceeded my expectations.

I had never heard of Furniture Medic Cabinet Restoration until I had a water leak under my kitchen sink and I notified my insurance company. They recommended a water mitigation company and Furniture Medic. My kitchen cabinet was removed in pieces, refabricated and reinstalled without the hassle of removing the granite counter top. Sean was the technician who removed and rebuilt and reinstalled the cabinet. He was professional, polite, explained the entire procedure, and very tidy as he cleaned up when removing and reinstalling the cabinet. I have told my contractor, plumber, neighbors and friends about Furniture Medic and will continue to share the good news that this company exists and can make life easier in the middle of a water leak problem.

Great customer service. Prompt delivery of services. My cabinets came back clean, looking great, and with new parts [that was a pleasant surprise]! They even touched up parts of the kitchen that wasnt part of the restoration. They made sure their work area was clean before leaving. Very professional!

First and foremost I am in no way making any derogatory comments about the quality of their furniture repair. Their administrative staff was quick to call me back and schedule my dining table for pickup, and the technicians who came out to pick up my table couldn’t have been more professional. However you should know going in that an official estimate will be emailed to you only after they have picked up your item and brought it into their shop to inspect. They charge $125 for pickup, and another $125 to re-deliver your item, and must pay even if you later decide not to have your item repaired. After receiving an estimate that was nearly double the cost of what I had originally paid for my dining table, I opted to just pay the $250 pickup and delivery fee, and decided to seek out a furniture repair shop willing to come out and physically look at my table in person, and to answer any questions before giving me an initial estimate so as to avoid the possibility of there being any confusion, miscommunication or sticker shock regarding the job. I would gladly pay $75 for someone to come out and give me an estimate that could then be applied towards the final invoice if I agree to the repair.

They took apart a large entertainment center that was to large to get into my basement. It was not easy to get apart but they did a great job and then did an even better job putting it back together. The guys were great. I would highly recommend them to anyone that asks and will use them in the future if the need arises!

I was moving and broke the leg off a table my mother gave me before she died. I was heartbroken and almost didn’t even bring it in because I have been unemployed due to COVID but my husband urged me to as he knew how much it meant to me. I felt bad and called them back a couple days later to tell them not to fix it as I knew I should not be spending money.I went to pick it back up and everyone in this small business was so wonderful and caring and presented the leg beautifully repaired at no charge! In these times small businesses are struggling and I can’t say enough about how grateful I am Furniture Medic for helping others when I am sure they are probably struggling to make their own ends meet. ❤️

I had an antique rocking chair that was destroyed by an incompetent moving company. I saw that this furniture repair company had good reviews and decided to see if they could repair the multiple breaks. I was given a reasonable and quick estimate. They made the process very easy. They were not only able to repair all the breaks but, matched the finish on the wood making it look brand new. Im very happy with this company and recommend it to anyone.

I wanted to take a moment to say what a wonderful job the crew at the Furniture Medic (FM) did in restoring three antique items that were passed down to me. The team was very speedy and when I received the items, they looked better than I had ever seen them in my lifetime! I am so pleased with FMs craftsmanship, attention to detail and customer service, that I will definitely use them in the future for all my furniture refurbishing needs.

I had the Furniture Medic team rebuild a few cabinets and do some other restoration and work and they not only did a great job but everyone was talented, professional and timely in their responses to my emails. What a great organization Joe Steffens and his son Daniel have built. Laura their office manager was great at setting up all of the appointments and Terry and all of the others did great work.

I had a hot water heater burst and cause significant flood damage to my finished basement and my grandmothers antique dining room table and buffet. In addition to the water damage, a door fell down and put a deep gash in the top of the buffet and down the front drawers.Furniture Medic picked up the furniture and did an amazing job refinishing the furniture and somehow miraculously removed the deep gashes. The buffet with the deep gashes had a wood veneer finish and I have no idea how the removed it but I can not even find where it was. The overall finish on the table and buffet looks better than it ever has. I highly recommend this company for excellent customer service and an excellent finished product.

My home recently suffered water damage and required multiple contractors to bring it back from trauma. Furniture Medic were absolutely the best company I worked with. They were professional, punctual, communicative and detail-oriented. They took amazing care of my cabinets from removal to repair to reinstallation. I was particularly amazed at the amount of time and detail they put in to the reinstallation - taking time to make sure everything was perfect, right down to the last bit of caulk. Thank you Furniture Medic.

These guys did an amazing job refinishing my cedar chest, a family heirloom. I was impressed with the owners communication (email and text); he always responded to me quickly and answered my questions honestly. The two guys who picked up, worked on, and returned the cedar chest were the epitome of professionalism. They were on time for scheduled appointments and treated my cedar chest like it was their own most prized possession. They were even disappointed during the reveal that when they unwrapped the chest from the moving blankets, the back side was facing me instead of the front! And the quality of the work is truly outstanding!! They had to remove a very dark gel stain that had been poorly applied and covered up the natural wood grain. The final product is absolutely gorgeous!!! I highly recommend this company for their high-quality work and extreme professionalism. This is honestly one of the best experiences Ive ever had with a service provider!!

Recently I had a small emergency with my wooden dining table. My son recommended that I contact Joe at Furniture Medic, a personal friend of his, whom he rated highly as a trustworthy businessman. Joe immediately called me back and we arranged for my son to transport the table to their workshop. The next week he sent a detailed email, with three options of repair and prices for the work involved in each. I was very impressed with his professionalism and the skill of his staff. So glad to have the table back; it looks brand-new! Thanks, Joe!

Joe and Daniel exceeded our expectations by repairing a damaged kitchen cabinet. The cabinet was completely falling apart and an eyesore in the kitchen. We thought it would be completely impossible to restore it. However, they proceeded with the work professionally and quickly. I sent the cabinet off with them on Monday and it was returned to my home on Friday beautifully restored. I highly recommend the Furniture Medic for its wonderful work! Thank you!!!!

We were having issues with a few pieces we manufactured for a property in Colorado. We urgently and quickly required a medics assistance so we called and left a few messages for different companies including TTL Furniture. Joseph responded within a few hours of receiving our voicemail. He arranged a site visit shortly after reviewing photos of the issues--the following day to be exact-- and worked on the issues once at the property. He provided plenty of images showing before and after work performed and provided an easy method of payment. Joseph totally saved us and made us look good! Thank you!

Our family had one of the home owners worst nightmares. We returned to our home after being gone for 9 days to the sound of water flowing! As we came into our house we discovered that water was flowing from a partially collapsed ceiling in the kitchen. A broken pipe in the ceiling above the kitchen sink was the culprit. Water had flowed from a wooden arch above the sink which had become a reservoir releasing water at the weakest link where two boards met and also from the area where the ceiling was collapsing. Several cabinets were damaged. Water seeped down the cabinets in the kitchen and also on the other side of the pass through onto an antique credenza prized because of its sentimental value. As far as we could reason...it was ruined! Well, not if the Furniture Medic had a hand in the repair!! Our ruined cabinets have been restored to their original custom quality AND the credenza is actually better than when it was first purchased!! Our hardwood floors were buckled and had to be replaced also. Furniture Medic carefully took out all of our lower cabinets, not just the damaged ones so that the floor could be replaced. BUT they saved the granite counters and backsplash by putting in braces holding the counters intact saving the insurance company time and money. We applaud Furniture Medics resourcefulness in saving everything that could be saved with their meticulous work. Our hope was to have our home restored to the quality it was before the flood, and Boy, was that goal met. Truly miraculous!!! Its one thing to be a magician repairing items, but the Furniture Medic does it with so much compassion and consideration for the home owners who are going through a very difficult time, it makes them head and shoulders above the other entities who helped us. We cannot say enough good things about them! Don and Jean T.

I appreciated Joes promptness and polite professional communication. Our headboard from Bassett Furniture was badly damaged by movers and I thought we would have to toss it, but he made it usable again and the damage unnoticeable. He even created a thorough report we could file with our claim to the moving company. Thank you Joe!
