Havent actually had the work done yet but so far am impressed by the friendly professionalism and knowledge of the staff. We were there looking at tile for a long time and never felt pressured to buy. Because of that we will. More to come later but so far so good.Update. Floor is in and its gorgeous. Craftsmen arrived right on schedule and finished the job in no time. Left work area clean. We did have a problem with a missed spot and cracked threshold but this was taken care of quickly. The missed area was only because it was under a small door hiding an ironing board...an unusual feature but common in houses 100+ years ago I guess. Anyway, it wasnt recognized as a door and they thought it was going to be covered by molding. Cant fault them for that.My initial impression of this company still stands.

Kohls Flooring waisted nearly 2 weeks of my time during a critical juncture of my move. They’d provided me a collection of carpet samples to vet with my family and friends that had been discontinued for over a year. When discovered, their response was to blame the brand reps and to leave me hanging in the middle. They took absolutely no responsibility for the needless delay in my move-in process. Following the move, when I was prepared for install, I asked that they consider discounting the fee for moving two bedroom sets, since that expense would not have been necessary if their showroom had been in order. The request was flatly denied. From the first syllable, the owner could not have been more pompous; he was dismissive, purposely disrespectful and insulting, and treated me like I’d stolen from him. Apparently, he doesn’t like being petitioned by common customers, and prefers they behave like sheep when faced with the arrogance of a business that thinks they’ve cornered a market.I saved nearly $500, about 15% of the total bill, by taking my business to Carpetland, where I was treated with the dignity and respect that every one of us deserves.
