He he literally built me a rifle from the ground up with all the bells and whistles I asked for. Dave is a great gunsmith and was quite literally recommended by every other gun store I spoke to in the area when it comes to AK pattern rifles.I highly recommend going to him if you have any questions or if you need any work done. my rifle is gorgeous and Im looking forward to my next one

Have had more than a dozen transfers done with Dave, and every one of them went great. He would stay sometimes 15 min later for me because I was coming straight from work.Dave also has helped me with the how’s on getting into the business as well. Rather than hiding the ball, Dave gave me numbers of who to talk to with ATF and has given great advice on duracoating techniques.Dave is truly a great asset to the firearms community in Iowa.

Ive never had a negative experience with Dave. Always friendly and ready to do business when I walk in. Transfers are very cheap and painless. Guns fly in and out of the place. Im here about twice a month and havent seen the same gun for sale on the back wall for more than one visit. Many options for parts and gun smithing work available. Highly recommend!

Gun reassemble was done two weeks past the initial time frame quoted of 3-4 weeks. Gun was not in working order including the hammer and he could not get the grips back on. Would not recommend and will not be spending my money there.

Needed a cetme barrel turned down to size on a lathe, they took care of it quickly and were not expensive about it either.

Spent 2 months working on getting exactly what I wanted. Very professional and diligent. Was a great experience and breath of fresh air compared to the rude and dismissive service at Midwest Shooting Supply.

Hours say 11-430 even on the door. Drove an hour to get here away 1230 on a Tuesday and theyre closed. Wont be coming back

Would not take my fire arms business anywhere else. They also do machining for customers that need that special part that needs repaired or replaced .

Went in today, two gentlemen working, neither greeted us, just kept joking and swearing between the two of them. There were less than 20 guns in the store, most bullets had one box per caliber, almost no accessories, will not be going back.

Walked in on a Saturday morning. I was the only one in the store. A guy behind the counter wouldnt even greet me or say a word. Wont be going back for non-existent service.

Tried to stop and visit the shop at 2:45 on a Saturday and they were closed when sign said open till 4.
