Tried it out for the first time tonight. Delicious, locally sourced food. Food was so flavorful and hit the spot. We had the best server (Carson) who went above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience all around! Cant wait to go back!

Lion Bridge is a great brewery! I love the outside patio during the fall. Last time I went I got a flight of a few of their seltzer style brews and sours. Great flavors! Even bought a six pack of one too! They also had a pretty good food selection when I was there.

This is a hidden gem. Food was incredibly good and appeared made fresh. Beer was above average (even when comparing it to national craft breweries). There is a large double patio outside, plenty of free parking, and nice ambiance inside. Service unfortunately wasnt very welcoming from the bartender or waiter. While the food came out quickly, it was a difficult task to track down the waiter (even though the inside seating area isnt that big).The beer menu on the board by the bar as well as on the printed menu were not laid out very well, making them more difficult to decipher what type of beer each was (on the bar board) and whether it was on tap/available (printed menu). The printed menu also failed to include pricing for taster glasses other than noting $2-5 each. Overall, the poor menu layout made the ordering experience more stressful than it needed to be.

This place was great! Im not always the biggest beer person but they have something for everyone here. There are some very good dark beers which is what I like and my friends liked the lighter beers here. The perogies are amazing! I would highly recommend a visit to this place!

Beers are great. Food is subpar. Fine dining prices are far too high for what came out looking like fast food quality and far too small of portions. Definitely enjoyed the kettle chips though. Would come to drink, eat beforehand though.

I had been meaning to stop by here for such a long time, and tonight I finally got a chance.They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It was a lovely night, and the outdoor seating was all taken. Ill have to come back again and try to sit outdoors. Its a very nice arrangement.I sat inside. I had the pierogies, and the server recommended the burger, which did not disappoint.The best part was that I was able to order a flight of different beers, a variety of my choosing.Did you know that there is such a thing as a beer slushie? It sounds like a weird idea, but let me assure you, I sampled a beer slushie with an orange taste to it, and it was to die for. The best part of the experience.I had a lovely server. I asked for, and followed, her recommendations, and she was spot on. She was just lovely and was instrumental in helping me to make the best choices. I just dropped in to have a meal and sample some beer, but I am sure I will go back.Thanks again for a lovely time!

Good looking brewery with a large selection. Pricier than the other 3 breweries that were open during the month of December 2020 & covid.

We stopped off for lunch while riding bikes on the trail. I had the Bridge Burger. The sauce was good. My wife enjoyed the fish tacos.

We went there on a Hawkeye game day with the intention of staying throughout the entire game. However, the projection TV does not have sound. We left part way through the second quarter and went elsewhere. Hopefully they will get a speaker hooked up at some point, because we would love to spend game days there.

I have always enjoyed the excellent good at Lions Bridge! Tonight I also tried a great beer called The Spice Must Flow! A definite winner with its nutmeg, Saigon cinnamon, and maple notes throughout.

Perhaps the best beer ever produced by a micro brewery. Their base house beers are fantastic and have something for just about everybody. Theyre rotating taps are a fantastic exploration of flavor and beer. And if youre hungry, their food is top of the line. They just celebrated their seventh anniversary, and they have made it very clear they are not sitting on their previous accomplishments but continuing to push the boundaries. A must for any beer enthusiast, without question.

Excellent varieties of beers. Our server really knew her stuff. She was able to recommend the beers each of us would like based on our tastes. I had never been here before. I would definitely recommend this place compared to other craft or micro breweries in Cedar Rapids.

Horrible customer service outside.. no server around,went inside and they say I cant buy a drink..I have to wait for server.. then we got warned for having more then 8 at a table ( they saying we have to distance,)We were there for Freedom Fest bike ride..the beer was great..but service was bad and management was rude.Got our check after the first drink..went to Kickstand where service was much better and they welcomed our group of 10 to sit together.

We had our rehearsal dinner here and Ana was awesome to work with. Food was hot, ready, and everything was done exactly how I said. Everyone in attendance commented on how nice Lion Bridge was and what a great job they did!

I’d like to start by saying this brewery has fantastic beer and great food. I would come back here again any time just to get some of their stouts and sours. Mallow Gold took the trophy for the best beer there and was wonderful. Kudos to the brewmaster and kitchen staff for their work here!Unfortunately, the staff was very rude to my party when we went inside to sit down at an open table. The waiter and bartender were both passive aggressive and short with us. Questions about beer and food or the taproom were met with one word responses, and we felt very uncomfortable the entire time we were interacting with them. It doesn’t seem like there are any other mentions of this in past reviews, so they may have just been more busy than usual. Unfortunately, the service is one of the things that sticks out the most in our memory of this place. Hopefully this doesn’t happen frequently!

I love visiting Lion Bridge for a drink and a bite to eat in the evening. The thing that shines about Lion Bridge is their special beer selection. They have old favorites, seasonal creations like the Blood Orange Radler, beer and lemonade slushies which really kicked butt, and a good selection of Lion Bridge IPAs, stouts, lagers, and other beers. All made by Lion Bridge Brewing. For me and my friends, the food there aims high but is sometimes hit-and-miss as far as the quality and the expectations met. Over the years, weve had really, really good food ranging down to mediocre, but their beer remains awesome. I love supporting local businesses and they are deliciously unique so they definitely have my familys support.

Love the beer here! Great service, too! Only snacked on some fries and they were pretty nom! Love their limited release beers! Favorite is the Winter Warmer! Excellent!

Highly disappointed with this place. I had heard stories, but I never thought they’d be true until I came here. Had an awful experience with the staff; especially with the bartender and Wendy, who is one of the workers. They acted very passive aggressive and short-tempered. When asked questions about the beer, they replied in the most unmotivated manner possible. I get they’re busy and tired but there’s no need to be rude. Do better!

They have some pretty good beer choices, for all tastes... The food is alright, fries are good, but the chips that come out with salsa- not a good flavor and super hard.

Normally a decent place to go to but this evening our server was barely seen. After waiting for drinks for a while, I went to the bar to try to get beers and the bartender told me to order from the server. The server also forgot our waters twice. Then she forgot my meal a altogether. So everyone else was eating except me and she still didnt think about having forgot my meal. Terrible experience

This place was really delightful. The staff was accommodating and found us a place to seat outside after we had already found a seat inside and had a down-to-earth atmosphere. Their beer is incredible, especially their IPAs and their Raddler.The Fried Gouda is a must try.

Korean Bbq tacos and pretzels were delicious. Definitely enjoyed all the beers we tried as well. Quad X and Oktobot 3000 were 2 thumbs up!

Great place to pop in for a craft beer. The beers are always creative. The place is super open. The staff is fun and friendly and their food gets more creative everytime I go in. Pop in here if you are a craft brew fan and In town. You would be sorry if you didnt. I do plan several return trips to this location.

Tried a few beers and the pretzel bites. Loved it all. My girlfriend likes stouts and really liked the options they had.

Great Atmosphere, Beer and Food! Our waitress was helpful and funny. Loved seeing locally sourced products on the menu. I had the Cherry-Bacon Jam Grilled Cheese, it was Amazing! I will be craving this sandwich. Excited for the Making a Beer Stein Event in March.

Soooo good!! Nice selection of food and beer. I had the bridge burger and house fries. Burger was very very good and the fries have really good seasoning! I also sampled a hard cider which was very good as well! Really neat atmosphere and great staff!

Food was underwhelming. Beer options are great. Fun environment. High expectations from previous reviews and menu, but we wont be back.

I recently hosted an event at Lion Bridge Brewing Company and it was so lovely! We were able to reserve the entire tent area outside and tables were spaced apart for social distancing. Servers were not only extremely friendly and helpful, but masked the entire time. I ordered appetizers from their catering menu and they were all delicious and passed around on individual plates/cups by the servers. If you have an event coming up that you would like outdoors and at a local restaurant, Id highly recommend contacting Lion Bridge!

Very disappointed! Servers were not friendly, we ordered fish and chips. Fries were dry and old! Fish was apparently frozen. Asked for vinegar. The reply was a harsh NO! Will not go back

Uncomfortable chairs, boring frozen chicken sandwich, and self serve room temperature water. Why the water is self serve I dont understand. Will not be back

Beer was decent, disappointed at the end. We have the iowa craf beer passport and they wouldnt honor the BOGO beers because the passport wasnt legit. We have used the passport at 4 other breweries and have no issues with it. Even if it wasnt legit dont take it out on the customers. We wouldnt even came to the brewery if it wasnt on the passport.

Food was mediocre at best. We ordered different items and none of them were outstanding. If you order the pretzels with beer cheese, expect the cheese to be cold which was unusual for me. Burger was just ok. Customer service wasn’t great either. Lots of checking up on during the meal, but when we stayed around a bit longer to talk and drink the service disappeared.

I had the Limited Release Saison & the wife had a Sour. We both enjoyed our brews. We also had a buffet style taco event there. The food was alright. The price per person, $22.50 definitely not worth it.

Not busy but the service was slow. Reusable menus, not a good idea during a pandemic! I ordered a small sandwich (off of the kids menu) and a salad, the staff forgot my salad. Didnt offer ketchup or mustard for my sandwich, I had to request condiments. The salad was without a doubt the worst salad Ive ever had! Half of the lettuce, the only ingredient, besides 3 slices of cucumber (I hate cucumber) and the croutons were too hard. Theranch dressing had no flavor at all, mayo and some dill for...color? The grilled cheese sandwich had a bare minimum of cheese on it. The sourdough bread crust was too hard, obviously stale bread that was burnt and too hard to bite into. Our napkins blew onto the concrete, I asked for 2 replacement napkins and I was met with a rude attitude.Today was my oldest sons birthday, I told one of the waitress it was his birthday and asked if the restaurant offered anything for birthdays,she sharply said no, they did not. Ive never been to a restaurant/bar that did not send out SOMETHING for the birthday wishes. For a $60 dinner for 3, none of us enjoyed the food, the price was another bad taste in our mouths.Everything about this establishment confirmed that we wont return

Compensation is my favorite in the cooler months and Tag is a summer classic. 🍻The witwer chicken sandwich never disappoints and there’s always an irresistible dessert on the menu. For a brewery they sure know their way around a cheesecake 🤤I’ve never had bad a bad experience here.

This place was fantastic. Our waiter was super friendly and help in selecting our drinks. He was quick to return with them and great about taking our food order and checked back on us multiple times. The whole place was clean and well organized. The food was delicious and the beer was very good and exactly as described in the menu. Definitely will come back in the future.

A Cedar Rapids gem! Patio is great when the weather is nice. Many beers to try and they have all been delicious. We tried takeout recently and the food was great! You must try the gouda bites and the Bridge Burger! I highly recommend!

The Bridge Beer is really good.

We visited around 12:30pm on Sunday. It was fairly busy both inside and outside. We dined inside. Our server, and the couple of other employees that we had contact with, were very nice. We were treated very well. I had a delicious Porter beer, and we shared a very yummy plate of Nachos. And a very decent sized plate too. We had a very nice visit and will certainly return.

Creeping back after social distancing, they are doing a good job of spacing and cleaning inside . Smaller menu, but thats everywhere right now. Great outdoor patio with additional tent cover for shade. Beers still great!

Great spot for some solid craft beer with innovative takes. I did not have any food. ut everything I saw come out looked great. So 5 stars for the beer. Multiple BA offerings including a Rum BA porter with coffee that was well done, no hot rum character in this. The BA Gazprom (a stout with maple syrup)was a 2016 GABF gold meal winner, and I can see why! Tons of barrel flavor, nice maple, good body, but finished dry w/o cloying sweetness, this was aces! The BA sour saison was a nice break from the dark beers and offered mild sourness, good funkiness, with tons of tropical fruit character all backed by some nice barrel flavors. Definitely dont miss this spot when in Cedar Rapids!

Not a beer drinker and loved the mallow gold and the cucumber kolch. The panini was excellent! Fantastic service, clean and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend for the adventurous beer drinker.

I received five star service from Jonah last night. Im not a drinker but Im a huge fan of the blood orange soda. I even tried a bit of the cider. Jonah is very knowledgeable. Jonah was able to help my mother and brother pick out the best beer gift for a friend in New York. I would highly recommend dining here even if youre not a drinker :-]]

I always enjoy my visits to Lion Bridge! Amazing food, great drinks, good service, and atmosphere! They are very prompt with the curbside delivery during this pandemic.

This is one of our favorite spots in CR. Consistently the service is friendly and timely, and the food and drinks are also consistently great!

Good beer and good food, but the can beer is outrageously expensive

Now that the good weather is finally here, my friends and I will be hanging out here quite a bit. Beers are very good, always interesting. Their menu is pretty good too, but not outstanding. Inside and outside, great place.

Lots of choices that they let you try. Those choices rotate based on what they are brewing. We cleaned out the rest of the Imperial Stout, which means its out til the new year (sorry!). The waiter was chill and attentive. There was plenty of seating. The pricing was a little high but you have to stay in business somehow.I probably wont be back, but their beers are served locally at other places if I ever come back to Cedar Rapids.

Great place to hangout and enjoy some craft beer and delicious food! They always have a great selection of beers that rotate seasonally, and their outdoor seating area is comfortable and fun with shade from the trees and a cornhole set for anyone to enjoy. I highly recommend!

Love everything here. The Emperor Of Ice Cream and Double Maple GAZPROM! are the best. The Emperor Of Ice Cream tastes like drinking Neapolitan ice cream. The Double Maple GAZPROM! is liquid maple syrup.

Such a great spot in CR. Lion bridge is a jewel in the NewBo/Czech Village district. I enjoyed a juicy Bridge Burger, shout out to their house made pickles....of course paired with a refreshing Ziva Voda pils. Lion Bridge has a diverse staple of beers to select from along with new and experimental seasonal brews...many returns in the future. If youve been before, dont forget you can order a custom flight to try all the new arrivals. The Staff was great and thankfully practicing COVID safe service procedures.

If you happen to be in the Cedar Rapids área check this place out. The food was great and so was the beer. We tried almost all of them between the four of us and there wasn’t a bad one among them.

After just sitting down I asked for a sample and the owner (a brunette gal) reluctantly gave me a two drop sample. It was the tiniest pour I have every seen. She acted like she didn’t want to provide a sample with a sigh and an eye roll. It seemed deliberately rude. This is the second time she has acted impolite while serving. After many years of coming here I did not enjoy this level of service and I am adjusting my rating down.Edit: I can tell by this response and many others that you can not take constructive criticism well. You are basically calling me a liar. It was not a one ounce pour despite how you want to deny all problems with your business you were rude while serving.

Service was great, prices were fair and I had the best tenderloin of my life! It was served with a beautiful mustard some sort of horseradish sauce it was amazing. I was a little disappointed because the shared pics on google of the cheese and sausage appetizer seemed large with many choice but mine was a very small portion. Overall 10:10 would go again!

A great stop for good beer, also the food is well prepared, and can be paired with almost all the avaliable beers.Overall a good experience, and its within a fun day trip destination to that encourages one to explore the Czechs Republic heritage museum.

Food was not terrible but also wasnt good, service was worse. Seemed like hipster mecca when we went. No straw nor even ice with water, person I was with never got the beer she ordered. Im probably too old and uncool to understand the appeal of this place.

One of my favorite places to eat and drink in Iowa. The beer is fantastic, the staff is knowledgable and the food is inspired. Some of the best food in Iowa, hands down. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a European bar with plenty of space, both indoor and outdoors.Worth the trip from 3 hours away. Dont miss it!

Great location in NewBo, and that coupled with high-quality beer and delicious food make this a cant-miss spot! We got a taster tray each and were pleasantly surprised by the complexity and simplicity of all we tried. This is good beer done very well! We also got the pretzels and beer cheese and were very happy with how they turned out. The space is great for accommodating large parties or smaller groups, and the outside patio is an awesome place to check out local vendors on Thursdays in the summer.

Best brewery in the Midwest.

We waited 30 minutes and still no one had taken our order yet. Some of the food sounded really delicious but our toddler couldnt wait an hour or longer to get food so we had to leave. We also saw that a table near us had their food taken to the wrong table which backed up the kitchen. Aside from when we initially placed our drink order, which was in the first 5 minutes of being there, no one stopped by the table at all. We understand it was a busy Saturday but there needed to be better staffing to accommodate that.
