Overpriced store for used games; typically used games cost as much as new here-even older games used are same as new price. Fun selection of collectibles and FunkoPop though.

Better than most GameStops I have been to but still sucks. Id recommend going to Video Games Etc.

Its game stop. Everybody already doesnt have high expectations. Theyll give u $15 for the game u just paid $65 for last week. Selection isnt the greatest. But it is what it is.

Love when they put a lot of the collectable stuff on clearance. Im able to get several things I want for far less. They also have some more hard to find or strange things my son likes. Staff is friendly.

The female manager is awesome. She is so helpful and gives her full attention to each customer. Store is a tad cluttered with little room for movement. Its like waking through a hedge maze.

Theyre pretty decent for a mall GameStop. I wish they had more floor space, but that isnt something they have any control over. The employees are cool. Knowledgeable and will talk Games if things are slow. Hands down the best gamestop in Cedar Rapids.

Recently bought a 360 for my kids, I go here all the time to get good deals on games, and accessories. The staff is ultimately friendly and notify you of all the specials they have. Also theres one particular female that works here, very friendly, when she talks to you she makes you feel like youre friends! - she even detail cleans the remotes for gaming systems with her own special tools! ;)

Too expensive

I like this store if I need to swap out games or systems. They dont give much for trade-ins but thats to be expected since they resell them used and have to make a buck or two on everything. Pretty decent selection of used and some new.

Wonderful experience

Staff is friendly, and knows their stuff. They always have great sales, and the 7 day return/exchange on user games really helps with undecisive kids. Just wish they still sold PC games, but welcome to the digital age!

They have good stuff but my brother (who is 18) tried to buy a game but he didnt have his ID so my other brother (who is also 18) went in to buy the games for him cause he had his ID and they treated it like it was buying alcohol for a kid.

Decent prices for new and used games, the associates are very helpful whenever I am looking for a specific game...if you call them, they will pull the game from the shelf and put it behind the counter until you can go pay for it.

I was going to get the new minty pickaxe for my friend for Christmas and then I got in line that took about 5 minutes then he told me that I had to make a purchase ( it was free). So I got $5 and went back and I got in line to complain but they told me to go to another line. Really mad thank you for reading.

I literally called in advance, as to not waste my time or gas, to see if they would buy my tablet, was told yes over the phone, got there, and was politely informed they could not buy it, because it didnt meet their requirements. Im not pissed they wont buy it, Im pissed I wasted my time going into the store when the information I gave over the phone was the exact same thing I said in store. Could have damn well told me over the phone what I was told in store, the lack of common sense irritates me.

Terrable for selling games... If you sell them a game, you get like $2.03 for a 60 dollar game. But good for buying a vast veriaty of games, they have always been good for merch, and accessories. If your a gamer, go here. But if you want to sell a game, dont go here... Use ebay for selling. Great though for everything but selling to them, i have nothing ageinst gamestop, im just mad about their refund policy.

I love this specific GameStop for many reasons. Employees are very professional and just all around great people. Ive been going to this GameStop since I was a kid and its always been the same. Theyre basically family to me.

GameStop riped me off. I wanted to play my Switch on my T.V., they gave me the HDMI cable. So, right there tells you they tamperd with new products.

Didnt even know this was still a place. Apparently people still play video games on a disk? I thought people just downloaded it off the internet these days. Then again what would I know I havent owned a video game in over a decade. Personally if I were an investor, I wouldnt buy into this seems like a short lived buisness.

Fully stocked and able to order if needed. Sales person was knowable.

Employees always helping

Nothing special, pretty much like every other one Ive been to. Seems like they really push the limit on putting things out to sell and making the store hard to navigate if theres even a small number of customers.

Very friendly guy at the register, Justin was his name helped me get what I was looking for and made sure it was nice and sealed. Store looked nice and tidy too.

The young lady that works there is awesome she was very helpful polite and knew what she was talking about.

Horrible store that hires employees that know nothing of the product. Employees telling get customers that the WiiU plays Blu-rays and dvds when it doesnt. Not knowing anything about corporate policies and sales. Just sit there looking stupid. There are better stores with more knowledgeable employees.

Not what it used to be. Snarky know-it-all types staring at their phones and trying to sell items I had not expressed any interest in. When I did ask for assistance it seemed the items I hoped to purchase were not trendy enough and drew mockery. Disappointing as this has never been my experience at a GS before.

Limited selection of newer titles and not very tidy. There were plentiful copies of older used games.

I go to the lindale mall gamestop just to look around. When i need to preorder something or check on something they are very helpful. But i really did wish they were open for midnight preorders.

Talk to manager and I believe district manager to make sure I can purchase digital download for black ops 3 and predownload it and play it at launch time or if I had to purchase it on Playstation and they insisted I can purchase the digital download from them and I cant pre download and the digital copy is non refundable to the store so I cant pre download it.

I go in there on a fairly regular basis to look around. The customer associates are polite enough but rarely do they know much about video games. Id reccomend talking to the manager when she is working. She has extensive knowledge on most or all of the systems and as long as she isnt busy she will talk to you about it.DO NOT preorder here if you are expecing them to be open at midnight release dates. They are rarely open for midnight release dates. It has more to do with Lindale Malls policies than GameStop. Ive received calls from GameStop saying my preorder will be available at midnight just to be burned when it is not.Store is kept clean, and everything is arranged in good order. Definetly reccomend for finding used video games.

For anyone that is still old school and still owns an older console such as a ps2, this gamestop is not for you. Unless of course, you enjoy digging through boxes of unorganized messes of scratched up games that may or may not play. I have had no trouble with the service, but am not pleased with their ps2 selections. Other than that, they are fine.
