The salesman is very nice and laid back. Hes not high pressure and encourages you to take the cars to a mechanic to he ever checked. I bought my truck from them s few years ago and have not had single issue. I would recommend this place to shop for a car.

I visited this car dealership 4 times in a week. No one came out to help nor answer questions at all. I asked to test drive a minivan and it was absolutely filthy and disgusting. I got in to drive it and it was out of gas. I had to put fuel in just to drive it. The guy inside seemed like he was high. The cars are grossly overpriced for the condition of the vehicles. I would not purchase a car from here.

These guys were pretty busy both times I came in, but they didn’t seem to really care that I was interested in finding a car. I test drove one car and for the price it had quite a few problems with some pretty important components. I let them know and they said they would look at it, which I’m sure they would have. When I am looking to buy a car I want to feel heard and that I am not invisible.

I bought a 2010 Chevy Equinox on April 26th. Test drove great. Got it home that night the check engine light came on. Bad catalytic converter. One monthe later right rear wheel locks up teads all wheel drive off. Tow it to the repair shop. E brake system completely rusted.They tell me the computer was cleared 4 days before I bought the car. They shouldnt have sold it in that condition because it could have caused serious accident.Ross Co sells as is. 2250 worth of repairs

I just got to thinking about this place the other day and thought I should really write them a review. We bought a Tahoe for very inexpensive just hoping to get a little bit of use out of it before getting a better car. That was almost 4 years ago and it’s running great ! We were very happy with our buying experience. I was a little skeptical because the prices seemed really low but we were really surprised with the quality we found and more than anything the low pressure information based sales guy. His name was Ricky Pence and he is actually the manager. He seemed really busy but after spending some time with him I realized he’s just honestly trying to help as many people as he can. The thing that stuck with me that I remember is after we agreed to purchase the vehicle he called us and said the battery didn’t test well so he swapped it with a new one. We would of never known. Highly recommend checking them out.

I like these type of dealerships. They dont sink a bunch of money into their cars, like new tires, brakes, etc that a franchised dealership (Toyota, Chevy, etc) would, which causes the cars to be a lot more expensive. I do most car repair myself, so these places are great because you can get a car for a much better price, do the work yourself, and save a lot of money. I bought a car from them and other than needing tires and a battery, was in good working order, and they even came down a little on the price. I went to another place like this before going here, and unlike that place, they actually inspect their cars, and the overall buying process was a lot better.

If you bought a vehicle that had a bad pet smell, that’s because owner used for commute and convenient. And she is a pet lover and love carry dog everywhere in vehicles. I saw it few times when she took it to Walgreen on 1st Ave.

Ive bought multiple cars here, and Ricky is a great guy to work with. Dont listen to the 1 star reviews. Hes always been upfront with me about any questions I had regarding my purchases. Ill be a continuing costumer for years to come.

Another of those Do very little to clean it up and resell it dealers. Waay too many vehicles on the lot with extreme rust problems. The vehicle I drove smelled like the engine had overheated at least once and the belts were whining. The interior was badly stained and looked as if no one at the dealership attempted to clean it before resale (most of these small independant used car dealers will at least do that). I didnt bother wasting the time of my mechanic to inspect the car, add $3k to $5k to what you spend on the vehicle if you purchase it here (assuming its worth fixing). Of the three small buildings on the property, only ONE is their sales office. Flip a coin to pick which one, but on close inspection, there are small painted signs pointing to the correct one.

Bought a car here and they lied about the brakes they said they where good, and when I took it to the nearest ato shop they said they where good. On my drive home I didnt make it 5 miles down the road untill the check engine light came on when I took it to my normal dealer they said it was unsafe to drive do to bad brakes as well as other issues

I bought a vehicle from Ross Company Auto Sales. The windshield washers were not spaying fluid but I could hear the motor working during my test drive prior to purchasing it. Ross Co. said it may be because the washer fluid tank was empty. When I brought it home, I discovered it had a cracked windshield washer fluid tank. I talked to Ross Company and they helped pay for a portion of the cost of repair. The vehicle was purchased As Is, so I thought it was very respectful they would help with the cost of the repair. I feel I was treated very fair.

Ricky was a nice enough salesperson but these cars are marked down because they need work. Often its not obvious. In Dec 2016 I drove all the way from waterloo with a rental car, ready to purchase a vehicle i was interested in, with cash. I took the car to Midas & paid to have them inspect it before i bought it. When I returned with the issues listed from midas, I asked if he could do some of the bigger repairs there at the shop or if i could get the vehicle at a lower cost since KBB & carfax showed i would have paid over blue book if i got the issues fixed at Midas but he refused politely saying he couldnt acting as if he was the owner, i was told later that he is not. Fast forward 2-3 weeks, ricky called me back saying he might be able to do some of the things on the list & asked what they were. I reminded him i gave him a copy & that i hadnt kept my copy because he already told me he wouldnt do the work. How frustrating!? It wouldnt have been a big deal if it were minor things wrong with the car but one issue was the intake or exhaust ( i cant remember exactly but it was something to do with black hazardous smoke) blowing out the registers directly toward the driver & passengers face. Im sorry, but that is dangerous, especially for someone pregnant like i was. Needless to say, they didnt get my business. If ricky wasnt the owner he shouldnt have said ge waa & ge should have called the owner to see if they could work something out.

They dont offer in house financing and it looks like they have to call you instead of really offering them a price. Thought theyd have a cheaper selection...

If I could give less than one star I would. I came in on Saturday, November 10th. The two men working around 3pm that day should be let go, they did not even try to sell me a car, i had $5k to buy a vehicle, had my eye on the Honda Odyssey, To start the battery was dead, so jumped it with a starter pack, I got as far as Marion WalMart, called then and asked if id be ok if I took a few minutes to buy a dvd to make sure the dvd and cd players worked in the van, He said, No, I prefer you just bring it back and come back Monday, I dont trust the vehicle being shut on and off. --I had my 22yr old son with me who would have stayed in the running van while I purchased the dvd but instead I turned around and brought it back. Upon returning the vehicle, I asked so what do you all know about the van...both of them looked dumbfounded and the smaller guy said he knew nothing about the vehicle....HELLO>>>I was going to but it but there attitude and customer service was terrible I will never go back and will tell people to stay away from Ross Co Automotive Sales. The bigger guy was some what helpful but the shorter smaller guy must be a family member of the owner because I would fire him if he ran off cash buying customers!! ps, I bought a van that day.

The car we looked at, we loved it! However, the person who helped us out was unprofessional and rude. If he would have been nicer, we would have bought the car.

The service there is good. The staff was kind and patient to me. Compare to other delears they are good emough. I am quitet satisfied with them. But they would not tell you every detail about the used car. You must find it yourself or check it at other place.

Call today and make a deal with Ricky and we agree I will bring $200 tonight when I get off work to hold a car until tomorrow night. Get there and he is in the process of selling the same car he agreed to sell me because the guy offered $100 more. He says with no money down he cant hold a car. Well then why didnt he say that on the phone? I could have had someone bring the money earlier had that been explained, but instead we had a verbal agreement that he broke. He then says he hopes we wont bash him. I dont normally complain about bad experiences with businesses because I think many things are out of someones control, but this was completely within his control and was just plain bad business over $100. I most definitely will let everyone I know about this horrible experience. BAD BUSINESS!!!!

Nope. Bought my car there and only a few days later it turned out to have a damaged fuel pump which oviously they knew about, then like a week layer the temperature gauge started going crazy, plus some other car issues that started to show up not even a month after buying it. Not everybody has the economic status to make such repairs after paying the amount that i paid for the car. What was even worst is that after the first incident they didnt even offer to check it.
