If you need a vehicle, ask for Andrew O. at the Hiawatha location!!!! After having two very bad car purchasing experiences with McGrath over the years, I was extremely hesitant to ever go back. I was dreading having to look for another vehicle but a car accident forced me to do so. Andrew was professional, listened to what I was needing and found a great car in my price range. Process was very smooth and he was fun to work with. I highly recommend him to anyone!

Extremely happy with my experience at McGrath. I was originally looking to just sell my vehicle and walk out the door with a check. I ended up seeing my dream car when I pulled up to the dealership and took it for a test drive. They came back with an offer for my car and were not pushy at all with the vehicle I took for a drive. They offered me to take it home for the night and see how I liked it. Which I very much appreciated, having a day vs just a 10 minute test drive is a completely different experience. I am very happy with my decision and praise the team at McGrath. Huge shout out to Garrett, Omar, and Patrick for all their help selling me my vehicle! Thank you again!

We purchased a used van from McGrath in March 2021. Our salesman, DJ, was very helpful and pleasant. It wasn’t until we sat down with the finance guy, PJ, where our experience become less pleasant. We purchased our van in cash, and it was very evident PJ was focused on selling us additional warranties, a service package, etc. We declined all of this initially and PJ even left the office to what we assume was talk with a manager about a better “deal” he could offer us, but after continued attempts to sell us on these packages we agreed to the oil change/service package. My husband and I were both put off by how quickly he picked up the phone to tell someone we said yes to this package - there was no initial response to us, it was just immediate call to someone making it clear to us the goal was to sell us something extra. Needless to say, we took the van in to get its first oil change today and to our total surprise the package was “not in their system.” Extremely disappointing when it is already out of our way to take it there anyway, on top of feeling the pressure to buy the plan to begin with. We have the paperwork in hand which shows we purchased this package if someone cares to reach out to us about this mistake.

Went and purchased a car from here and will not recommend this one to anyone due to the fact how the salesperson and manager treated me and my other half. We test drove the car We heard a noise asked the sales person if someone was going to look at it he said no I think Its just the highway due to construction. I asked if the car had a systems flush salesperson without hesitation yes I believe so so I asked to see the report he said no I asked for the manager he came showed me it did not in fact have one also they denied work on the tire rod and shocks gets better at the end. the manager said we could split the cost for a systems flush which as I was given misleading information I feel I shouldn’t have had to pay anything but I agreed to pay half then we got it in I picked it up to find out the just did a transmission clean which only includes part of a systems flush. When we dropped the car off and picked up the loaner they didn’t even clean or fill up the loaner as I watched someone drop it off and them give us the keys. Also as usual they run credit but they decided they were just going to put me on the loan just my other half which is ok but we were not notified of this decision until we went to sign papers I asked they said we ran both and saw it’s be easier for just her to get it no problem then why the **** would you continue to run my credit through 3-4 places Unacceptable if you ask me. Head home with the car on non construction road still hear the noise as I take it back the next day it’s tire rods and shocks ok no problem they fixed it. Salesperson got loud on the phone with my other half which is disrespectful and not very employee like if you ask me. Was told several time we’d receive calls on updates about the vehicle as it took 2 days to fix no one every called even after being told a specific time we’d be contacted back at. Will not every go here to this location still deciding about another one. Sorry it’s long just had to get it all out there.

Knowing a few people who have purchased used vehicles from here that have had major mechanical failures before the vehicle was paid off and being left with car payments and no options to rectify the situation. I understand they have purchased lower end older model vehicles but I feel McGrath should avoid selling this stuff to people who cant afford to replace an engine or transmission at cost. Typical just as the warranty went out the cars fail. Yeah it happens, but its becoming a thing. Its to bad they are now a monopoly if dealerships and cannot get away from them.

McGrath Auto Kia Service is poor, and they don’t stand behind there work. I have purchased 3 new Kia Sportages from McGrath in the last 10 years. I have been very happy with their sales, but the oil change service is very poor. McGrath has done all of the service on my 2018 Kia Sportage since I purchased it new. My son drives this car on long trips, so I don’t get to inspect it very often. After an oil change at McGrath my son went on a trip and when he returned, I checked the oil and it was not showing on the dip stick. So, I contracted McGrath about the issue and had them look at it. There was a problem in the oil change, causing the oil to leak out. I was concerned about the engine. So, they checked the engine and said it was okay. But after that event the car started using oil. So, I spoke to McGrath Kia about it and they did a check and said it was not using oil fast enough to be a problem so there was nothing they could do. I still have my 2013 Kia with over 200K on it and it does not use oil at all. But the 2018 does and the McGrath would not make it right. I decided I did not want to take the risk on the 2018, so I traded the 2018 that used oil for a new 2021 and started to do the oil changes myself. I think their mechanics are good but the people they assign to do oil changes are not. This was not the first time I had a car come back from a McGrath oil change with an oil leak due to their mistake.

I worked with Kale at the used vehicle center trading in a vehicle on a used Super Duty. Kale was excellent to work with and made my entire shopping experience pleasant, casual, and fun. Kale went above and beyond by searching for a unit that fit my needs that wasnt yet listed in inventory. If Kale had not have done this, I would not have been able to find my new-to-me truck. Kale spent extra time working out details on my trade in and was able to provide factual information that allowed me to make a well-informed decision.During the financing stage, I had some questions about delivery of the vehicle and my own financial situation. I worked with Mason in Finance who also delivered superb assistance. Mason was quick to follow up on my questions and provided timely communications. I am grateful for the help Mason provided during the financial side of my trade-in.Overall, I had an enjoyable experience trading in my vehicle. My questions and concerns were resolved in a timely fashion and communication was easy. I would recommend Kale and Mason to a friend if they were going to this dealership for a used vehicle.

Not this time! Alex F at McGrath used car center in Hiawatha made my experience this time as simple as can be. He is a very down to earth salesman (no smarmy car salesman vibes here) he was straight forward and honest and even jumped lots to the new car center to help me find exactly what I was looking for. He was patient and answered my questions thoroughly. After a lifetime of uncomfortable car buying situations Alex made this one enjoyable. Worst car buying experience ever! We purchased a car 3 weeks ago.Started when we showed up for a scheduled appointment to view the vehicle and it was not on the lot because someone had decided to take it to lunch. The woman in the finance department became very rude when we declined the extended warranty and signed us up for things she did not explain. Our sales person did not really seem to know what he was doing. We spent 6 hours in the dealership with 2 kids.Almost 3 weeks later we are still waiting for the car to be done. Purchased on a Friday. We were told they would detail it and have it through service then let us know. Received a message on Monday that it was done. Went to pick it up and it was not detailed yet. We were told we would need to return it for that. The car still had garbage from the previous owner in it. Brought it back on Friday and was called to pick it up on Saturday at closing time. They said they would leave keys in it for us. When we picked it up it was still filthy. There was even crushed pills in the center console. They had sort of vacuumed and ran it through a car wash. They also knocked the antenna off in the process of running it through the car wash and did not tell us this.Talked to management on Monday and explained I was tired of driving 45 mins every couple days for them not to do their job. They turned it back over to the sales person who was told to bring us a loaner and get it taken care of. They picked it up on Thursday and told us it would be done in a day or 2 at most. They left us with a loaner. My husband discovered the gas light was on in the loaner when he went to pick our kids up from school on Friday. Also got a message on Friday that they had locked our keys in the car and would need to come get the spare from us. On Saturday the sales person called again to let us know that they would need to swap loaners with us because someone was interested in buying the one he left us. Told me my car wouldnt be ready until at least Monday and that he would let me know before a driver picked up the loaner car. Driver showed up at our house around 1 on Saturday without any notice from the sales person before they arrived.The continued issues have gotten completely ridiculous! I realize that mistakes happen and a couple things would be no big deal but the list of everything combined is getting to be a bit much and I still dont have my car back! I dont think expecting a clean car that is not broken is totally unreasonable. Sales person basically told me it wasnt his fault and that used cars come with cosmetic issues. I dont think they should come with garbage, crushed pill residue and parts broken by incompetent people after I purchased it...

*Stay away and you’ll save time, money, and sanity*Everything was smiles and hand shakes the day I got the car. After I left the lot found out my spare key wasn’t even connected to Vehicle, when I returned I was told there’s nothing they could do now and I’d have to take it to the manufacture and pay to have it done myself. Made me come back to resign ALL paperwork (completly signed the day before) after they had promised I was good to go. Then days later I start receiving MULTIPLE calls from McGrath that I have to call and contact the bank or my car will be repossessed, call the bank and they say they have no information of me even owning a vehicle through them. So naturally I call McGrath who states sorry that’s not really up to us they’ll reach out to you eventually. Oh it gets better, then my first payment wasn’t even what I signed for. Bought it less than a month ago does anyone know if I can return ASAP? I feel I made a terrible decision

I bought a 6.2 Denali from the folks at Westdale. I thought I had my own financing lined up, but a glitch occurred. Either the loan officer at Green State made a mistake or did understand her or his job. None the less Brian Caston and the Sales Manager fixed the problem in what seemed like a heart beat. Brian Caston is easy to work with, smart about his job. This is the 3rd vehicle I have purchased from McGrath, theres a reason for that. The truck is nice, exactly what I wanted. Thank you!

So I bought a 2017 dodge 2500 from the use lot beginning of last year nothing but problems with it every time I was home it was back at dealership for service for a week at a time sometimes even longer made the tough decision to trade in for a new 2021 dodge 2500. On the previous 2017 I had airbags installed and an external fuel tank installed I. The bed I asked if the would transfer them to the 2021 they said yes and tried to verbally agree to do it without and we owe you paper I told the guy they did that yo me on the 2017 when I test drove it there was a slight pull to the right they verbally said they would look at it didnt leave until like 930 at night so plan was to have it looked at the following day yea nice try they didnt give me an we owe you paper so they wouldnt look at it after arguing for couple hours finally got them to look at it and they said something was wrong with one of the tires asked if they would replace the that one and the the other one across from it didnt happen got told how do we know it wasnt from you driving I told them because I stated it during the test drive with Adam before we even signed anypaperwork long story short they gave me I think 200 bucks in a check weeks later to replace one tire so back to the 2021 I asked them to give me it in writing that they would swap the fuel tank and airbags they did and they transferred them but when they transferred the fuel tank they installed it incorrectly causing the bolts to completely rip out of my bed now my bed is destroyed and needs replaced went intoday and they are trying to say that the previous truck it was installed in it was glued in thats why it didnt damage that truck and that they wont replace the bed..... aftermarket item or not it was in my purchase agreement to Uninstaller out of old truck and reinstall in new truck they did it wrong causing the bed to be destroyed the bed needs to be replaced period but they are refusing to do this and they want to scab the wholes up with 2 pieces of metal pinching the bed together and then rebolt the fuel tank back down that does not fix my destroyed bed

A complete circus from start to finish. Went in to look at trucks, gave them the stock number of the vehicle I was interested in. They brought out a different truck for me to look at after an hour and a half of bogus paperwork, not the one we had requested. Then I requested to look at another vehicle on the lot, after an hour it was determined they couldn’t find it and was at another location. Requested numbers for my trade and vehicle price I was interested in. Finally after 3 and a half hours of waisting my time they brought out some estimates. Way low on the trade and their vehicle was same as asking price and covered in dents and scratches from prior damage. We walked and the sales manager chased after to only insult us in the parking lot. I will never be returning to anything with the name McGrath.

Bought a vehicle in 2019 after my previous vehicle was in a accident. No problems with the purchasing process its after when my vehicle had a break down that things which were missed was discovered. The alternator electrical connector was glued into the alternator and needed cut out and also replaced a head gasket which was found to be improperly installed. Called the customer service for assistance with the bill only to get told tough luck and now face possibly losing my job and not able to take my special needs children to medical appointments after you certified it like new.

Do not do business with this company. By far the worst business experience of my life. It was two weeks from when I bought a vehicle to when I finally took possession of it. Once I signed paperwork no employee would return my phone calls. When I did finally get someone on the phone they made excuses and said it would not happen again. Following day same treatment no return phone calls from them. Went in 5 minutes before close and had a temper tantrum to get answers on a Friday. Told them I wanted a phone call from management on Monday morning same salesman called. I basically had to tell him off before I could get a manager on the phone and still took another ten days before I was able to pick up my vehicle. They did not change the oil even though they said they would. They did not have me initial a paper when I picked it up. They did not have a problem calling my phone numerous times every day when they realized the paperwork mistake but they could not return my calls when I wanted answers to what was going on and when i could pick it up. I waited eight days before returning to the store to take care of their paperwork mistake without me answering or returning their phone calls. Told the employee that how does it feel when the tables are turned and the phone calls are not returned. Gave me a dirty look and said it was just him calling me but I have proof it was not just him. one of numerous lies I was told by them. Do not do business with this company. Only thing that matters to them is getting as much money as possible out of a customer. Complete and total rip off of a company. After I signed the missed paper they continue to send me emails about needing it signed. What a joke. First last and only time they will rip me off. If I could give negative stars to this crooked company I would.

My wife and I decided to go car shopping on the weekend. We had our mind set on a 300. I had bought from McGrath before and it was a good experience so we started looking on their lots. Thats where we met Craig Henderson and he showed us the 300 they had but we also liked a charger he showed us. Craig was very helpful and patient. We tend to think things over a lot. Our intentions we decided that week were to buy one of the two the Charger or the 300. When we returned the next weekend Craig had kept looking for us and had a red Charger SXT there for us to drive. It was awsome. Craig took the time to listen to what we wanted in a car. We are so proud of that car. Thanks Craig for finding our dream car. I took my Grand Caravan in to get the air conditioning repaired on a Saturday. Service center replaced a rear hose and added freon. Worked excellent for the day. Didnt drive anywhere Sunday. By Monday the air was not working again. You would think that the service people would have noticed another leak before sending me on my way. We take it in again hoping to get it repaired at no cost, but not the case. Theyre wanting another $1500. Im sorry, but for that kind of money I expect my air to work. What happened to the customer service and well do anything for them? We are very disappointed with the situation and will not be using McGrath service department again and certainly dont want to purchase any more vehicles from McGrath.

I bought a vehicle from here in 2019 and I didn’t have the best experience. Everything was confusing and not explained even after some clarification when it came to a variety of different issues. My salesperson was very inconsistent and inconsiderate at times, even after I bought my vehicle. It took me months to receive my owners manual (did not come with one) when I was told it’d take a couple weeks max. I called about it multiple times. The “spare key” I was given for my vehicle isn’t even for my vehicle (found that out the hard way). I do not recommend this place. Unprofessional.

McGrath Auto is one of the most helpful dealerships I have ever worked with. I am over 4 hours away from the dealership but they had the exact vehicle I was looking for. They took extra photos for me so I knew exactly what to expect when I arrived. They even fixed a few of the very minor issues with the vehicle at no extra cost. The drive was more than worth it.Jim, Tyler, and everyone I interacted with were great. Jim and Tyler worked with my work schedule and were even willing to talk to me outside of their work hours to best accommodate me. Even after the purchase, they checked in to make sure everything was still good with the vehicle. I would highly recommend McGrath to anyone.

When we got there, a vehicle that we had seen online turned out to have just been sold. We worked with a young salesman named Jacob Kloubec and he immediately found us a vehicle that we absolutely love that fits the specifications we gave him. He is a very nice, knowledgeable young man and I would recommend him to anyone. There was some issue with the price of the vehicle notmatching what was indicated online & some incorrect charges on the purchase agreement their finance department prepared, but he & Anne got that resolved immediately to our satisfaction. We would be happy to do business with Jacob again.

Give 0 stars if I couldI bought a car from McGrath and the engine blew out Not even 48 hours after having the car, they replaced the engine out of warranty we ran the serial number and it turns out the engine they gave me was refurbished and not new. When I told them about it and confirmed it with my other mechanic, McGrath told me they wouldn’t “fix” the problem again.

When you think of buying a car at a dealership usually things like pulling teeth or fingernails on a chalkboard sound more appealing. From the time we arrived to the time we left, we felt genuinely appreciated as customers. Our test drive was about as comfortable as they come! Skylar was top notch great guy! He really put us at ease! We eventually ended up dealing with one of the nicest salesperson, Patrick! We purchased a new car a couple days ago from McGrath. As soon as we pulled up to McGrath, Dayton greeted us with a smile & was ready to help us find a new vehicle. Although it did take some time, in the end we are very happy with the Hyundai Elantra he showed us. Throughout the whole process, he was very adamant about making sure we were comfortable. Not a good experience in the long run. I went in because my car was in bad shape and I wanted something more dependable. I test drove and decided on a late model WV TDI but the check engine light was on. They told me it would be checked and fixed as a final service. That was back in October, its been more then a month and I am paying on a car that I havent even driven except for a test drive. Not happy with the way this has been handled.

Just wanted to say that both Dustin Austin, and Moe El-Meanawy did an amazing job finding the perfect car!! This is my first time going through a dealership. My previous car had 250,000 miles and just didnt want to spend anymore on fixing it. In contrast to other places where salespeople might fail to identify vehicles that fit your needs, or be obnoxiously pushy about trying to sell you something ASAP, these folks actually listen and work with you.I worked with Joe DeReus. At first I didnt have much of an idea about what models to ask about, just a list of my practical needs. To my astonishment within minutes Joe found several that fit that, encouraging me to compare and contrast them to hone in on what I liked. He was very respectful of price range and honest about what McGrath did and didnt carry in various price brackets. Im happy to write that my experience buying a car through Eric Smith has been the best experience buying a vehicle that Ive had so far (and this is car purchase #18 for me). Eric genuinely seemed more interested in making sure this vehicle was a good fit for me than making the immediate sale. There also was not a bunch of haggling over the value of my trade-in. He also has been very responsive after the sale to questions Ive had. Eric has definitely altered my opinion of at least this McGrath Ram dealership (Center Point Rd.).

It was a long, stressful day when I went to McGrath Auto to purchase my new Jeep. We worked with Alex and he was wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable about the car that we purchased and worked very hard with us to get us the payments as low as we needed in order to drive away that day. he was super friendly and was even interacting with my 8 month old son, trying to keep him calm when he was getting crabby. Got to the there with an appointment to see a specific vehicle only to fins out they took it to another location an hour prior to our appointment. Looked around some and found another one we liked thanks to the large selection of vehicles. Buying the vehicle was not too bad since we were able to get to the all-in price we wanted. Initially we had an issue getting the second key but once it was escalated to the management team, Shaun was able to quickly get our issue resolved and we are now pleased with our purchase and the management teams quick response once involved was great. The sales team I worked with was great. However, less than a month ago I bought a certified pre owned vehicle from you and at the time I noticed a slight humming noise but figured its just basic 4 cylinder noise. It got a little worse so I took a peek to find inner tire cupping which indicates either a bad/bent suspension component or poor alignment. I dont know how a mechanic could have missed this during inspection as its a safety issue considering I drive with children. You should not sell vehicles that could potentially cause an accident if it is indeed a suspension issue that could fail. This is why I wont ever go back to Deery Brothers ever again and now I will not go back to you ever again because you as well have lost all of my trust. Glad you got your money because you just caused me to have to spend more.
