I was able to get in for an estimate relatively quickly and was happy with how I was treated. 1.5 months later I called the insurance company to see where the check for this work was, but they didnt receive the estimate.I called Bob Mickeys and they were unable to send the preliminary estimate to insurance until it has been taken apart and a more detailed estimate can be performed. This was not the impression I got while there. Im sure they do great work, but Im struggling to see why I would recommend them.

Took my 2019 GMC Sierra there for extensive hail damage. They did a excellent job repairing dents and painting. It was all done in a professional, timely manner. Trent and his crew are excellent people to work with! I recommend them highly!

Went for estimate It needed a small paint repair I was surprised the touch up was done while I was there I had another surprise no charge !!😃

My vehicle was damaged in the August 2020 storm, as many others were, and I decided to reach out to Bob Mickey Collision Center to receive an estimate for the damages due to all of the positive reviews I read on Google. In September, I had created an appointment to receive an estimate and did not mind that I needed to wait until mid-November since they were initially very kind and responsive.On the date of my appointment, Trent essentially turned me away and told me that the damages were likely to be twice the amount that was written on the check issued by my insurance company, without assessing my vehicle or requesting any photos of it. Instead of receiving the estimate (that I truly wanted, because I wasnt sure if the damages were accurately assessed via the photo appraisal method, plus I wanted to see if the repairs could be done for the amount noted on the check), he asked me to email a copy of the itemized estimate which was written by my adjuster, and he would reach out to me ASAP so he could schedule my vehicle for repair.Three weeks had passed and I had not heard a word, so I called to inquire about it. He stated that he did not have the email and asked me to resend it to the same email address I sent it to the first time. I was told that he would reach out to me that day, as soon as he received it. Well, its been another month since Ive sent that second email and I still have not received any correspondence. I do understand that they have been busy and that mostly everyones vehicle was damaged in the storm. I do appreciate the initial kindness and willingness to help, but its highly unethical to lose emails and make promises to customers that you cannot keep. If a company does not present themselves ethically, I simply cannot trust them with my vehicle.

Waiting on car still but not tgere fault. Waiting on a part thst was lost by shipper for last few weeks. They have been great and keeping me up to date. Got it in fast and would of gotten back to me super fast if not for the lost part.

They do good work. But DONT give them your insurance information. They will mark everything up to take every single penny the insurance gives you, so the company receives a bonus rather then helping out their customer to pay the bill.

Very professional, and explained everything that I needed to have done and why. No wonder they are one of the busiest body shop in town.

They were very nice, they told me that a part needed came in damaged so they had to reorder which I was Happy that they took the time to do that. The only thing I was Disappointed in is that no one spoke to me at all about the repairs. I would have Liked to have gone over what was needed. Not sure what normal practice is as far as that goes but the only other time I have Had my car worked on in this capacity they went through what was needed and fixed, and my car came out looking better when it went in as far as a car wash and vacuum and the job done. Not the case here for a decent price tag on the work done. I have Given bob Mickeys two chances now and I think I will Take my business else where if need be in the future.

Great service. I dropped the car off the day I took it in for an estimate. I hadn’t arranged a ride and they were able to get me home. The car was completed in less than 3 business days. I’m sure any other shop would have taken days longer. I won’t hesitate to go there again the next time I need body work.

One of the company drivers cut me off in traffic and then flipped me off like I was the problem; not a good look for the company, get it together lmfao

Bob Mickey Collision was recommended to me by the Toyota Dealership and I found them not only to be professional but super duper friendly.They handled everything with the insurance company which was very appreciated and now the back bumper of my car looks great.Overall I was very pleased with the service provided. 👍

The best part is if I’ve had some minor things they almost always try to fix it at no charge or make suggestions to save ya some money. We went here because we had heard good things and they didnt disappoint... We received our car a week earlier than anticipated and it looked great ..  Hopefully we are done with fender benders but if we need repairs again we will definately go back.

I brought my vehicle in after scraping a snowbank that tore part of my bumper loose. As soon as I pulled in someone greeted me and asked how they could help. I showed them the problem and they told me it was not serious at all. They asked if I could wait about 20 minutes for a tech to look at it. They quickly reattached the bumper and did charge me a dime, in spite of my offering to pay. If I do have a body repair need in the future, Im definitely taking it to these guys.

It was great, I would recommend it highly the quality of work was professionally done the desk workers were kind and helpful, and made my car look like when I first purchase it. Im very happy with the end results they do excellent work.

I read in a review posted recently where a customer got mad gave them 1 star because Bob Mickey said they would not fix the car based on liability issues and they took the car to a shop that fixed it. No question the best place for body work in eastern Iowa. Very capable estimators, flawless body work. They even wash the car and clean the interior ... even the floor mats. The young lady who works the front desk really knows her stuff, too.

Fixed our Ford Flex. Vehicle had front end damage. They followed up with phone calls and honestlyncouldnt have been more accommodating. The work and paint were perfect. Very happy and would recommend them to friends and family.

After I was hit by an uninsured driver I needed a collision center to confirm the extent of the damage in case I had to take her to court. Even though they knew just from my description that the cost of the repairs was going to exceed the market value of the car, they gave me a free estimate anyway. It was delivered in a timely and professional manner. In fact, in every interaction with their staff, I found them to be courteous, empathetic and honest.Unfortunately for this review, I cant speak to the quality of their work, but if they treat the cars they work on with the same level of care and respect that they treat their customers, I can only assume it would be impeccable.

I would have posted a ZERO if it were available. We had an issue with our ONLY vehicle that my wife and I both need for our jobs. This place took a look and refused to even try because of liability issues. I took it to Wades in Marion and they fixed it right up like new!To hell with Bob Mickey.Your response would carry more weight had another shop not fixed it up. You werent worried about our safety, you were worried about your liability.

Had my car towed there after a minor fender bender. Was a busy season for them after a slew of winter storms hit us, so they didnt get back the next day, but they did the morning after that to let me know it had been totalled, and they sent me an easy to read estimate report right away. I took a few days to gather up my plan for a new car, they stored my totalled car there for 5 days, and then when I stopped by to pick up the keys for it they let me know that at that moment that it was covered in snow and the battery was dead. They offered to clean it off and get the battery charged and get it drivable for me to pick up that evening. When I stopped by to get it that evening after they closed, not only had they cleaned off most of the snow, but the car was washed, and the broken fender and headlight were all taped up, and the battery was charged.....all I had to do was start it up and drive off. They really went above and beyond on service for me when I didnt actually even give them any business! Hope I never need it again, but if I do, I know where Im going!

Dan from geico does not know how to do his job or answer a phone. They got my car on a friday and didnt do anything with it til that next wednesday. After they said they were finished the parts they replaces were two different colors of white and told me that geico does blend the color and there were still some scratches and missing paint from they accident that was not fix so i had to spend two days arguing with them trying to get them to fix that. Also there were new scratches that was not on my car and didnt happen in the accident that showed up and when i asked to see pictures of the car when it came in to see if they were there when the car came in they told me to computer crashed and they would not be able to get the pictures back so after finally making the car one color i got it back yesterday and while driving it i notice it pulls to the right so i had to call them the next day in the morning to fix it after telling me they already alligned it they tell me that they can not get it back in until tomorrow. Tomorrow is 3 weeks after my accident and my car will maybe finally be done. I will never go back there ever again!
