Beautiful dresses. My daughter is shapely and I was concerned finding her a dress would be traumatic but the shop girl was so patient and did not stop trying to help until we found her one. She kept the energy up and said some really considerate confidence building things to my daughter. She was just the sweetest girl. Thank you I appreciate you. Shop was tidy as well.
I arrived to a lock store with no sign of employee whether they were in the restroom or lunch. Eventually, Priscilla opened the door and asked if I needed help. I told her I was there to pick up a dress. She went to get it and hung it while completing my order. I asked to see and I was extremely disappointed in the dress. It does not look like a $100 dress. I told Priscilla that the edges appeared dirty and wanted to know if they could do something about it. She quickly answered “No and No Discounts! No Exchanges or Returns!” I was surprised. There are exceptions when the finished product is mediocre. I shouldn’t have to pay full price when the item is ordered and unable to see the finished the product.Fast forward, she said calling the owner would take “a while”... took 5 minutes. She argued with me more than the owner did talking to her. Finally, she gave me $10 off. I’ve bought at least two dresses there in the past. Never again! Stay away!By the way, I just discovered a similar dress on Amazon for half the price and will accept returns!!! Go anywhere but there, they don’t care.
YELP gives the HONEST REVIEWS of this supposed to be business. I put a special order in after trying on dresses in store and they didn’t have my size for a wedding. They stated shipping would take two weeks which was plenty of time before the wedding. the dress got here I went to pick it up and it was the wrong color. I was glad I had taken pictures to compare the color and the tag while in store. Because they stated this was the dress I ordered which was in accurate and I requested for a refund that day once I saw that it was a wrong dress and they said they don’t do refunds. And would need to talk to a manager and I would hear back from them in five days. On day six I had to reach out to them to get an update and was told that they could ship the right dress to my address in two or three days and still refused to give me a refund or even partial refund for the incorrect dress. On day five of not having the dress I insisted on a refund or I would dispute the charges for not receiving the product. After three weeks and the worst customer service they refunded my money. They should/ could have done that the day I told them the dress was wrong and they messed up. I will never do business with them nor refer anyone to this shop!
Our experience at the Dress Shop in Lakeline Mall has excellent selections to choose from. My daughter found a stunning prom dress. I fit her well and was reasonably price. Leticia was friendly and great to work with. If you’re looking for a great dress for a formal event, you know where to go!
We walked in ready to shop for a gown for an upcoming anniversary party. The store was empty and the older Asian lady, who was the only person working, glanced up from her area and didn’t say a word to us. No greeting, no welcome, no “May I help you?” Nothing! I spoke first and said Hello! And she barely responded. As I looked at a dress that was directly in front of the counter, that same lady suddenly yelled “Hello, welcome!” I turned around to see who she was yelling at, and I saw a group of white people that had walked in. I guess my group of 3 was too dark skinned to be bothered with! Terrible! My fellow POC-stay away from this place!
Angel is the best! She was very energetic and accommodating! Her customer service skills were awesome. We were not easy clients as my daughter could not make up her mind. She hung in there with us!! Thank you!!
Most of the ladies that worked here are nice! They will only let you try on 5 dresses total. They will order you a dress if you need them to and they said it only takes two weeks. Their website says they they more brands then they actually have. Most of what they had are brands I don’t know. But they still had some nice dresses and the price was reasonable. They do let you take pictures.

Hubby surprised me with a much needed night out so I needed a gown asap. I zipped in after work and tore through the store like a hurricane and probably tried on 8 different garments .. but I found my gown ! Many gowns to choose from but if you are wanting more casual they probably wont have much for you. Staff was super sweet and helped me out .... the fitting room and store was nice and clean also :)

Last resort when we arrived here. Although 99% of the dresses we were looking at we did not like luckily we found one for my wife. The price of the dress was a little on the pricey side as well as any alterations.

Dont even waste your time! Google has one thing as business hours while their website has something different which is understandable considering COVID. But, we called and then arrived to find them closed - lights off/doors locked - signs posted with the times they are open (m-f 1-6pm) - we arrived on a Thursday at 5pm. Waste of gas (we drove 2 hours) to come to the place that claims to have the largest selection of dresses in Austin.
Though this shop came up as resale on Google, it is not consignment. Its a full-fledged ladies formal wear shop with competitive prices and wide selection. Staff are attentive but casual. I had a great experience looking for my dress for my daughters wedding! No pressure, just thoughtful service. I will likely shop here again if I need more in the lines of formal wear.
I had an amazing experience here. I was stressed for time as the wedding dress I ordered (from another company) was delayed & was not going to arrive on time for the wedding. The ladies were very kind & helpful & were able to express ship the dress I chose. Definitely coming back in the future!

So thats how they get theirgood reviews demanding the employees and asking family and friends to write fake good reviews to compensate the great amount of real bad reviews that they get for their horrible customer service and business policies. If customers would leave, the minute the staff starts being rude, without buying anything, that place would be closed. Unfortunately people takes up a lot of B.S. from these rude and unprofessional people, because they need to find a dress and usually it is kind of hard to find the right one...so, people that doesnt leave such a horrible store, must be already tired to be looking at other stores. Or bcz they live in the area. Just remember, if you want to avoid a bad shopping experience, pay attention to the reviews, the ones that are written for real customers, not the ones created for the business owners employees, families or friends which of course will said they have great service.

Miss Mary and I believe is her name close 2 hours early when I drove an hour and a 1/2 to get here and I called to confirm that she closed at 6. I called when I got in the parking lot she told me Im sorry but were closing I told her maam I need to know what store youre closest to cause Im in the parking lot she hangs up on me.
Good customer service and a variety of dresses. Can always order different sizes and colors and it only takes 2 weeks :) Since I didnt have much time to wait, I ordered my dress 4days Express with only a $10 fee. Theyre awesome!
I got my sweet 16 dress here and the lady was very rude through out my whole experience. No one was a help. Someone new was there every time. The owner was very disrespectful to my whole family and I would never go back and spend money there. It’s prom season and my friends thought about going there and after being told we could not try dresses on because we were not accompanied by an adult we spread the word that the dress shop was not a good place to get a dress. In my honest opinion I don’t even think they deserve 1 start.

Love this place was looking for a prom dress for my daughter and the woman helping was amazing. As a single father I was unsure what was what but she took complete control and made not only mine but most importantly my daughters experience great. As to the review put up by Tracie Brown I was present when your daughter was there and I have to say I’m very concerned as father that a 17 year old was being so disrespectful to an adult the way she was. That pour lady was not only tending to your daughter but others as well. It really makes me wonder what we as parents are doing wrong as our kids tend to be a reflection on us as parents. After looking for several days I finally found the dress I was looking for as well as the people being very kind and helpful and I highly recommend this place.
We had to go in 3 different times to try on/pick up my dress. Each time we went in there was a different person. The first time we went in I picked out a dress that wasnt available in my size. The lady working there was not nice AT ALL about the fact that I would need a larger fit. We came back a month later to order the dress and had a much better experience, though it was with another lady.

As my daughter mentioned, to the lady who wouldn’t give us her name, it’s not the customers fault you obviously hate your job. She left shaken and not even wanting to continue her search for a prom dress. She’s 17. Way to go dress shop.

Terrible service. My daughter tried on a dress in store for her first prom. The size was right but there was something wrong with the way the lace was connected to the bodice. So I had them order a new one and paid extra for expedited shipping. I called on the day I was told my dress would be ready and was told the alterations were not done. I said there were not supposed to be alterations. I said I feel like you didnt order my dress and you are trying to give me the one in the store the girl on the phone said yes your dress is the one with the problem. Then she told me it was not the one with the problem. I said Id like to pick it up tonight she said I could. I got to the store only to be told that my dress wasnt there. I was told the girl was new and she didnt know what she was talking about. I was also told that you need to act a certain way to get good customer service so I asked about a refund and was told I would have to email the owner who is out of state. Needless to say...my daughter has no prom dress now. Terrible customer service and questionable business transactions.

As soon as I entered the staff spoke down to me as though I couldnt afford a dress. The staff when I asked to try something on asked my age. Im 18. Then asked me if I wanted a dress or was playing around. I said I wanted a prom dress. They followed me out screaming for being a child without a parent.

Absolutely the worst place to shop for a special occasion. I went there to purchase my senior prom dress and found one that I was absolutely in love with. Not only were the two girls working there were extremely rude, they were also extremely unhelpful. I asked them a week and a half before the event to make sure that my dress would be ready in time and she assured me it would. I called 18 (lm not exaggerating at all) times the day before to ask if it was ready, which is just absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional, and never once did they answer the phone. I drove to the store and I stood right by the counter for 10 minutes waiting for one of the two girls to help me and never once did they look up and acknowledge me. Once I got their attention they treated me like I was bothering them by being there. They went into the back and grabbed my dress, which they never called and told me was ready, and put it in a dressing room without me noticing or them telling me, and another girl tried it on. She came out of the dressing room with it on and they didnt apologize to her or to me for the confusion. After I retried it on to make sure the alterations were right I walked out without the plastic wrap over the dress and was told that they didnt have anything to do with me anymore and rolled their eyes as they were hanging dresses on the racks. I was absolutely mortified and Ive never felt so disrespected, especially after spending almost 400 dollars on a dress. If you shop here expect to be treated badly, and to pay for it.

Yes the dresses are nice and from the window you can see some are really pretty but I went in with my family to look for a dress and not once were we greeted or asked if we needed help, just didnt feel welcomed or comfortable. After reading other reviews Im glad I did not buy there.

The Dress my daughter wanted was new...but not even dry cleaning could have Removed the bad Oder of sweat from this dress, the lady working was rude and basically ran us out at 5:45. I would never buy a dress here! The staff is rude and the dresses smell like B O.!
Save your energy and visit another store. The one staff person I saw was extremely rude and unprofessional. I fully understood that the mall was about close and it would have been a hassle for the staff for us to try on anything, but asking us if we needed any other type of help would have been nice. On top of the attitude the girl had as soon as we stepped in the store, when my mom asked her if she knew if a girl was going to buy a dress that my mom likes she told us “ it’s like a size 4 soooo...”. I also would not buy a $500 from a person who wears pajamas to work and makes no effort to look or act professional.
I just spoke to a worker there name Melissa, as far her knowledge Im the only one that has a complaint. She was no help and very rude. If they want a parent present with my 18yr old to shop there then they need to stop been so lazy and make a sign. At the end she told me that she will make a sign just for me. Cause I’m the only one that had an issue with that.

Both my daughter and I have bought multiple dresses here for everything from prom to work galas. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I usually need alterations and those are always well does well
I was there for my sweet 15 looks for dresses with my grandma. We tried to get their attention at the counter and they told us everything there was too much for us and we couldnt afford anything. We never told her a price or anything we had just walked in there and tried to get their attention. All throughout the day while I was trying on stuff they were just terrible. So rude and so impatient.

Wow. In all my years of shopping experience this was hands down the worst. Be sure to know there is no return. No exchange. Period. My daughter purchased the dress, brought it home, and we decided it wasnt for her. NO ONE EVER SAID A WORD ABOUT THEIR RETURN POLICY. That should be an absolute standard for a place with this type of policy. She went to return it, couldnt so I called the store. The manager was like a viper. I mean venom coming out of her mouth. Ive never been treated by anyone in a professional setting like this before. Even if we had loved the dress Id never go to a place with this type of customer service.
Horribly rude staff! I walked in with a postivie attitude, ready to find the dress I will wear to my senior prom and I asked the only staff member there if I can try on a dress. She replied by saying yes with rolling her eyes? I didn’t give her any attitude at all and I was perplexed! Under my breath in the dressing room I whispered to my friend that the lady was being so rude to us and over the door she shouted to me to say it to her face. How unprofessional. She looked to be about 40 years old and she was trying to start an argument with two 17 year olds... She threatened to call security because we asked for her name so we could report her to the mall manager’s office. We did anyways without her name and they were extremely helpful with our complaint. It was honestly the worst service I have ever seen.. Will never be back.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! They are very impolite. They disrespected my sister by refusing to let her try on dressed, even though she is 18 and a legal adult. The girl stated and I quote we have lots of teen girls ruin dresses when they come in. Come back with a parent. I feel very disrespected, and this shop deserves zero stars honestly. I will never come back.

NO RETURNS PERIOD!!! I was never told about this policy when purchasing a boy’s suit. We ended up not even unwrapping the suit and still we could not return it. Horrible experience...I feel like I’ve been scammed.

If I could leave a zero, I totally would. I went in last night to try on dresses for a gala I have coming up. I know I’m a curvy person and dress can run either too big or too small so I grabbed on that I thought would fit my curves just right. It was a smidge to tight on my hips and when I told the sales associate that it was a little snug she rudely told me that 8 was the largest size they carry and if I wanted a bigger size I would have to order it. After rudely shaming my size she rolled her eyes and walked away. Thanks for the aweful experience and for making me feel shameful that my curvy body doesn’t fit your size 8 standards. If you are a curvy full figured women this shop is not for you unless you want to feel bad about your size. All the lady had to say was “Dang, sorry that dress didn’t fit right, we only have a size 6 or 8 in that dress right now”. See how much nicer that is!

Arrived at 6:30 on a Friday night to find the store closed. Mall is open until 9pm. After driving across Austin... No sign, no explanation, just all the lights off and doors locked.

I would have left zero if possible. The customer service was awful. They were rude, and not willing to help. When I finally got to see the whole store, I didnt find anything that suited the occasion I needed. I asked the lady there if there was any other place she could recommend. She gave me an ugly look and asked me why she would support other competitors and walked off. I would never recommend this place, bad service, rude employees, and no reason for me to ever go back. They will never have my business.
My granddaughter flew in from Michigan to shop for her quincenera dress and we stop by this store because its close to us. The lady in the shop was very short and said she could not take the gown off the maniquine today because she had 19 girls there, there was 3. We asked when could we come by, she stated she does not take the dress down on the weekend and we had to come back the following week. Not going back there. We had limit time, there was no one in there, and she will never get my money. So disappointing for my granddaughter, what a ugly taste in my mouth.
