Big thanks to Ryan for taking the time to do last minute wheel alignment on a Saturday afternoon. Hes extremely professional and intelligent. This is my second time doing business with the shop. The first time had different ownership and things were not so well. Now with the new ownership the shop is made a complete turnaround.Keep up the good work.The charge for the alignment that I got was cheaper than anyone in the area.

Ryan went out of his way to help me. He made sure my A/C was fixed quickly and saved me a lot of money, being quoted $1700 more by another business. He kept in touch and had a smile the whole time.

I absolutely loved going here. Not only were they able to tell me what was going on with my car, they could also tell that the previous mechanic had done some nefarious work. As a single, senior female, without a clue about how a car works, I have heard of woman being taken advantage of by mechanics. After having the same mechanic for 20 years in Austin, I was filled with those thoughts, moving to Liberty Hill. I want to let you ladies know, all the men in Cedar Park Precision Auto, work with precision. From Dustin(manager), Ryan, (mechanic), and the other fine mechanic who showed me the worn down, burned out clutch from my car, their integrity is worthy of notice. Called to see if a stuck 02 sensor could be removed on a 92 Civic. I had been trying for a good while. Nothing. With experience youd know that it has to be heated up and then attempt to remove so that it can break the rust. Well these guys said to come on over. Itll be $20-50.00 depending on how long they take. So I brought car over since I was lacking a torch to heat up 02 sensor. Less than a min. The mechanic comes over to me and tells me he broke it. I was standing right by entrance to shop. He didnt heat it and tried removing it cold. In which I had already attempted with no success! I knew itll break if I use WAY to much force. It needed to be heated up!Well... they tried to get me to pay even more. About 180.00 to remove the whole manifold.. 🤦 wow... then preceeded to give me a payment plan if I couldnt afford 180.00... wow...All to their mistake!If the job couldnt be done then dont accept it! Professionals, nope! Do I recommend? Nope! Maybe they can remove simple stuff but.. they make a mistake. They are going to charge you! Instead of owning up! Smh..I wouldnt trust anything that can own up to a mistake. On top of that, rookies that dont know how to properly remove a stuck 02 sensor.If I had the tools.. Id of done it myself... jeez...No stars!!!

On Dec. 2nd, 2020, my husband took our Infiniti to Sun Auto for radiator installation and transmission fluid service. Afterwards, we experienced serious complications with the transmission. Sun Auto refused to diagnose the issues, leaving us out $1,000+ with a paper weight in the driveway.On Jan. 4th, 2021, my husband let Precision Tune Auto Care look at the car. He described the issues we have experienced with the transmission since the services performed at Sun Auto to Colton at PTAC, who immediately knew what to look for. He started by checking the transmission fluid level and pulled only 1.2 quarts out of the 9-quart system. He checked all around for leaks that would explain this extremely low level of fluid but found nothing (we dont have a puddle of 8 quarts of fluid in our driveway either). Colton noted that when he checked the fluid, the fill/drain plug was sealed with warranty sealant. This evidence plus the almost-empty system indicates that the system was opened (unsealed), drained, and then re-sealed without ever re-filling. He contacted Nissan and ordered the specific ATF Matic-S fluid our transmission requires. In a matter of an hour, Colton was able to diagnose the issues, resolve them, and save our family thousands in costly repairs.Thank you, Colton and PTAC!

Saw the $29.99 two wheel alignment banner on the side of the building and made an appointment online about a week out. Got to the shop about 15 minutes early and was told by the shop manager (Omar) that he didn’t have an appointment listed for me. I said I’d booked online for that day/time and had an email confirmation to prove it. He said he doesn’t check or honor appointments made online, doesn’t even see them, that I should’ve just called and confirmed with him personally. So now I’m upset. He says he’ll check to see if he can fit me in, then leaves and comes back 20 minutes later to check the phone and walks out again ignoring me as I stand there. After 35 minutes of wasting my time I just left. What a waste of time. Shop is filthy, employees are about what you’d expect for a place like that. I wouldn’t dream of going back there. They probably saved me irreparable damage to my car by ignoring me.

I discovered Precision Tune in Cedar Park because they were an installer for Tire Rack and offered reasonable rates for mounting and balancing. So I had my tires shipped there. I then called and made an appointment to have the tires installed on my 2001 Z3 Coupe. I arrived when they first opened and they took the car right away. I knew I had found the right shop when the tech expressed concern for mounting the low-profile tires on the BMW rims. He didnt want to damage the rims. I asked him to mount one tire to see how it went and promised him that I wouldnt be upset if the rim was scratched - that I wasnt that guy. He mounted the tire with no damage and then mounted the rest. It was this consciencious care that let me know that I had found a shop that cared about their work.I have since had Precision Tune do an alignment on a different car after I replaced springs, struts, shocks, tie rods, bushings, etc. The alignment was spot on. When I picked the car up, they had even put two front wiper blades in the front seat for me that was a part of a deal that I didnt even know about.Omar is great at the front counter. The techs are top notch. What more could you need in a shop to keep your car in top shape?

I had a wonderful experience at Precision Tune Auto care. Omar and Chad were great. They didnt try to overcharge me our upsell me at all. We just got down to business with what i was there to get fixed. They were extremely kind, it doesnt take very long. I definitely would recommend this place to everyone! The customer service was off the chart! It’s been soooo long since I’ve seen GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE that I almost forgot what it was in this computerized age! I went in not knowing what was wrong with my car, the crew checked everything and tested everything between appointments because I was a walk in. I had been to numerous places for over two weeks trying to get my car fixed and was told it was okay. It turns out, I needed a new axle! Yes a new freaking axle, everything wasn’t fine when other places sent me off on my way!!! I won’t be taking my car ANYWHERE ELSE from here on out for anything!!!

Omar is terrific! He goes above and beyond for his customers. He is polite and knowledgeable. Havent had customer service like he provides in quite some time. Will go back simply because of him.

Sometimes its really great here, and sometimes not so much, depending on who you deal with. Some staff are super friendly and helpful and give you fair pricing options, and sometimes you feel like the person you are dealing with is just trying to bump up their profit margin. Management changes fairly often. The most recent one filled in the monster potholes that have been here for years, so bonus points for that. My whole family goes here and has been for years. But they are still stuck in the past as far as requiring printed coupons instead of digital one, and they dont even mention there are coupons available. You have to know to check the website. And they mark up parts considerably. Buy your own and pay them to install them to avoid the 20-75% markup, depending on the part. Appointments are not set in stone, so be prepared to leave your vehicle with them for several hours even if you set one. But they will give you a ride home sometimes if you live close by so you dont have to wait around all day.

Omar went above and beyond the call of duty when my alternator went out on the toll road. I appreciated his special care and attention very much. It was hassle free and a very good price.

While I was there for a oil change, I heard them upsell every customer that called in, convincing each caller that the most expensive parts were what they needed. You could almost see the dollar signs in their eyes as they did it. People are nothing but money to them and I felt a shady aire about the business. They were more interested in the money and cost of the parts than maintenance of the vehicle. I will never go again.

Omar is the best manager. His mechanics are honest and the shop does not gouge. Every problem I have taken to them has been satisfied 100%

Used a Groupon for Air Conditioner recharge. Got a very good deal and excellent service from Omar and his crew. Omar explained whatwhat was needed and what was done. The technicians where quick and efficient and had me in and out quickly. If you need service it is best to schedule and appointment as the shop is busy and it is hard for walk ins to get squeezed into the schedule. My rule of thumb is that a busy shop is usually a good quality shop or they would not be busy. If they do not have a satisfied client base they probably dont have return customers and therefore have lots of free time. This particular Precision Tune Auto does not have a lot of free time.

Wasnt sure what to expect when I pulled up after being recommended by a friend to get my Toyota Tacoma aligned here after a lift installation. I was glad I took his advice! Omar greeted me and got things going 25 minutes before my appointment and while it took a little while, the wait was well worth it! Truck drives better than it did the day I pulled it off the lot, and they got all 4 of my E rated tires balanced right the first time. Will be coming back here for my alignment needs in the future, and the pricing was fantastic!

My AC went out right in the middle of a 100+ streak this summer. I originally brought my explorer here because they were approved by a warranty I have. Though the warranty didn’t end up covering the repair, Omar was incredibly helpful and the cost was reasonable.

This was by far the worst automotive experience I’ve had. I went in to get a very minor, routine job done and because they did it poorly and communicated so badly it took them 3 days and for me, multiple trips. This place has “bankers hours” 8-5, and even though I dropped my car off early for what was supposed to be 3-4 hours, I had to call them to find out if my vehicle was ready. And at 4:45pm, no one can easily head up 183 to pick up a vehicle by 5. They called me once, during this 3 day affair, but didn’t leave me a message, on an important issue. Use a different shop.

Wish I could give zero stars. The gentleman I had the pleasure of dealing with was relentlessly pushing the 50$ Groupon on me while I continued to tell him the 25$ would work for my car and it’s what I could afford. I told him yes I can see the benefits to the 50$ oil change but that unfortunately what I could afford was only the 25$ at this time but going forward I would do the 50$ he told me that “was an issue because I would get in a 25$ mentality “... after more insisting that I would only be able to get the 25$ oil change he then told me that he only had the full synthetic oil (50$) and not the synthetic blend.... additionally I would need a filter so that would total it to over 60 vs. 34$ I was quoted over the phone. Bottom line this was absolutely embarrassing and made me feel low having to discuss my finances and what I could afford in front of several people. So- I went to the precision auto care off of Lamar, where they were kind, straight forward and stayed true to the quote of 34$. I will definitely drive out of the way for the customer service I have received at the Lamar location.

Needed a state inspection and they took my truck right in. They were fast and friendly, Ill be back next year.

Been here multiple times. Bad experience every time. I will no longer give them anymore chances. One time I brought my truck in for an alignment after replacing ball joints and they came back and said they couldnt do it because of bad inner tie rods. I got it home and checked all my tie rods. Not a single bad tie rod. This time I get my van aligned and it pulls worse than before. Took them 3 hrs to recheck my alignment because they didnt give me a printout of the specs before. All while other customers came and went. They already had my money so it didnt matter to them.

Love that their rates are reasonable, and REALLY love that their technicians are honest. On two occasions Ive been in asking about an issue and was told that everything is fine and that I dont need to fix anything. Its incredibly refreshing to trust your car to a company who is not going to try to find something to charge you for, but instead is honest and straight forward with you. I will be back.

We came in needing brakes and possibly rotors a few days before Christmas and since moving from out of state (Utah), we had no knowledge of any good mechanics here in Texas. After being quoted astronomical prices around town (Firestone, Goodyear, many other local mechanic shops) we were at our whits end. Passed by Precision on 183 and so glad we did. These guys are top notch!! Very knowledgeable, crazy good pricing, and the work done has never failed us. They fixed our brakes and I had to buy rotors for the front but they were 1/3 of the price compared to every where else and the front desk gentlemen (sorry forgot his name) was not only personable but he called around his vendors to get the best prices for our budget. Havent had anyone else do that, well be coming back for all of our work needed from now on.

Omar the Mgr. Rocks and is a great guy. I went in for a A/C recharge and the minute I came in the store he was ready for me . He asked me for my keys and took my vehicle in to be worked on. He takes care of bussiness and dont mess around. Within less than an hour they were done with my vehicle whereas other places around here make you wait all day and dont get the work done . I have been taking all my vehicles in for service since I moved here to Leander.

INCOMPETENT CUSTOMER SERVICEWe have been going here for four years, since we moved to the area with excellent customer service and good prices.We made an appointment Friday for 1pm today, Tuesday to get our tires replaced, tires were delivered last Friday. Four and a half hours later they had not replaced the tires, my wife was trapped there with no options to leave once they put the car on the rack and took off the wheels. Multiple customers without appointments arrived and had their oil changed while our car wasnt completed. We have had multiple tire replacements in the past in 1-1.5 hours. All it took was a little communication from the manager that hes short handed and we would have had options to come back at another time. The manager has nothing but excuses for not communicating.We wont be coming back.

Two thumbs up!!! I have a Saab and since Saab went out of business getting service for my car was a challenge... until I found Precision Tune of Cedar Park. Omar Moore one the Managers worked on Saabs for 25 years he did an outstanding job! I had an idiot light on the dash come on stating there was a cornering light malfunction Omar identified the issue fixed it and 30 minutes $50 later I was on my way back down the road.Another shop told my they wanted $140 just to scope and try to find the problem. If you own a Saab and it needs work go to Precision Tune in Cedar Park!!!

I work crazy schedules and do not always get time to work on wifes car. My wife bought a groupon deal for an oil change with free wiper blades and cannot get in to get the job done! She stopped by multiple times to have van serviced and was told no one else is being serviced do to appointments. I understand the fact that appointments come first so I asked her to schedule one. An appointment was scheduled for Saturday April 6 at 11 am and when I took her van over I was told all appointments are cancelled for the day? Apparently the manager was at another location... I know I was early, 10 am, but why didnt anyone call and inform us of this cancellation? Right now this is an inconvenience!

Dont waste your time. I had purchased a Groupon for wheel alignment. Called 4 days in advance to book an appointment for Saturday. I was confirmed over the phone for 1pm by the manager, Omar. Arrived that Saturday at the specified time and was told that I wasnt scheduled and the alignment wasnt going to happen that day. Wasted my time time driving there 30 mins each way with traffic, wasted gas for nothing, and scrubbed my new tires. Off to get a refund from Groupon. Go elsewhere.

I was quoted one price for my cars repairs, after signing all the documents he had informed me the repair will be almost quadruple what he first told me, this was my daily driving car, he told me it would be ready Monday with confidence. It didn’t end up getting any work done to it until Wednesday afternoon and 3 trips to the shop to check their progression. On top of all this extra cost and time, they then told me that the The old parts they took out (all still fairly new and expensive) were thrown away immediately. I planned on reselling these parts, which I now assume they are doing.

I never write bad reviews but today I had an awful experience at this location as well as the one on N Lamar Blvd. I purchased a Groupon a few weeks back and every time I show up at a locations they are extremely understaffed and the wait time is anywhere from 2-3 hours. The manager at the Cedar Park location was very nice and wanted to help but he was unable to cause he is assisting multiple customers at the same time. My advice is to remove any offers from Groupon until you are 100% staffed. Until then you will just keep getting disappointed customers.

A week or 2 after an oil change I noticed I was leaking oil. Took my vehicle back, they said your oil pan is leaking, lets run some numbers. Immediate red flag. I told them no that I wanted a 2nd opinion. Took vehicle to dealership, they said its just residual oil left in pan from the last place that did my oil change and just didnt drain everything properly.Will NEVER go to this place again.

My experience actually dont deserve any star but that is not possible.I purchased a Groupon allignment for my car, sounds like a great deal 39,90 with Whipper exchange. So far so good, I tried 3 times to make an appointment but nothing was available. On the 4 time I was told that I have to bring in the car at 11:00 am and I can pick it up at 5:00 pm and thats the only way there can do this for this price.So I took off half a day at work and bother my wife to pick me up so I dont sit around there for 6 hours.When I get back the work was not done, and I get a stupid excuse....Honestly I could care less about your explanation, since I made an effort to be there who cost me time and money.Horrible experience, never will I go again to this car shop.

I took my truck in for a front end alignment. When I picked up my truck, the manager, Roy, told me my truck did not need the alignment. I tried to pay to compensate for the mechanics time, but he wouldnt take the money. I appreciated the honesty, they will be getting all my business in the future.

These guys only job is to make money. They do not care about fixing your car. I took my car in for an oil leak, the replace my oil cap and radiator. It cost me around $940. I pick up the car a little over a week later (they said they needed a specialist to look at it) I started driving the car, in less then 6 days my car started knocking and needed to have the engine replaced. It was going to cost me over 3,500, and they said since I was able to drive it out of the shop, I most have dammaged the car. I would not recommend anyone go to these unprofessional so called mechanics.
