I called in this morning when they opened to confirm that theyre open, drove an hour and a half from Charleston and they are closed. The sign was from yesterday so Im confused as to why someone answered the phone this morning and told me that they would be open.Edit, called in again found out they have the wrong locations phone number listed on Google as well as incorrect business hours on their website and on Google.

I move often I always try and find a Tandy store. I am in Charleston but have found you are about 1 hour from me... very excited!My favorite Tandy is in Tucson off paloverde. I will be visiting Columbia soon!!My trips take time transportation slow. I can load up a bunch of hides!

I have wanted to learn leather working for years. I drove an hour and a half Saturday Dec 21. Isaiah was an amazing help. I walked in not having a clue where to start. He spent over an hour talking with me. He was knowledge and helpful. He helped me decide what tools to get and helped me get the leather i would need for starting projects. Before i get order anything, i will call and talk to him.

I drove from Charleston to Cayce today (10/7/19) to go to Tandy and it was absolutely worth the trip! The young man who assisted me was beyond helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, polite, and even offered some really good tips on leather working that I’ll be sure to put into practice. I’m still new to this hobby and not up to speed on everything, but he explained everything and answered all my silly questions and never once seemed bothered by my questions. The store had everything I needed and more. They have a great selection of leather and even have a good selection of “hair on” hides and exotic leathers. I’ll be returning to this store for sure now, especially since I like to sort through the leather myself and pick what suits me. Thanks and I’ll be seeing y’all again soon!

Staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They did not once try to force me to buy something I didnt want/need. Prices were super affordable, especially since I am a bargain hunter. I will definitely be returning with my friends next time.

A fantastic store for anyone interested in leather crafting. Beginners can get kits to make leather items while developing skills. More advanced can get strips or even sides for more complicated projects. Tandy also sells the tools you will need to use, and the staff is quite knowledgable.

I tried to buy some leather here but both staff members required that I give them my personal information - address, email, phone. They absolutely refused to sell me $30 worth of material without it, even after I said I could go elsewhere. So I did - and ended up with a better product for less money.

Drove from Spartanburg to check out the store. They have a vast variety of tools, supplies, kits for all leather workers. I was very surprised when I found out I could get a life time discount for being a Veteran. They loaded my bag with free stuff and connected me to their website. AWESOME store and team!!!

Very rude staff. Obviously not interested in helping you. They may have a great selection but I would not shop there ever again.

Great selection of tools and materials. They provided excellent help and even price adjusted some items that were listed cheaper elsewhere as long as they were tandy products.

This is the only place to go for anything leather related.

Friendly and helpful.Well organized.Call the store for the correct address if you havent been there yet. Google has it listed incorrectly.Its actually 823 State St. In Cayce, next to BiLo.Not the New State Rd. Address.
