This was my very first time at Eye Associates. I truly enjoyed the comfort, kind, thoroughness, professionalism, and consistent work that all of the staff gave. I will definitely return to see Dr. Henry
Dr. Kleckley is the best. The front desk ladies are always friendly and phone calls are returned. I have been a patient there for approximately 27 years and won’t go anywhere else.
The ladies at Eye Associates are very professional going above and beyond for their customers. I scheduled appointments for my 79yr mother and myself and she was treated extremely well. Dr. Ferguson is very pleasant and enjoys helping her customers offering several opportunities to ask questions if needed. The doctor who assisted me with choosing my frames is amazing and extremely helpful. I highly recommend Eye Associates of Cayce if your in the need for glasses.

My daughter had a scratch on her eye and was told to follow up with an eye doctor. Our original doctor no longer accepted our insurance and we were referred her. They got her in quick and everyone there was extremely nice to my daughter. The front desk lady’s were awesome and very nice!
Wonderful staff. Opticians are the best. Have always found beautiful glasses, and the one time I needed to use the warranty the process was easy and flawless. I highly recommend them.

Me and my family have gone to them for many years now, and weve loved them until now. Ive had issues with my brand new pair of glasses from last year and have not been able to wear them yet! (Since going to them, Ive always had issues with a new pair of glasses, as one time they put my lenses in backwards) Ive gone back and been told to wear them for 24 hours and tried that but still couldnt wear them, went back again and was told to try them for one week (did that, still no luck), made an appointment earlier than the 1 year mark for our next appointment and they want to charge me for new lenses (because i was told by Dr. Kleckley my left eye had moderately changed in vision yet when they speak to me they say its a big change) In my pair of glasses that Ive not even been able to wear yet. When we asked to speak with Dr. Kleckley we were denied as the optician (Brianna) had spoken with her already and would not allow us to, even though, Dr. Kleckley came up front in the office. Theyve tried saying that I had not come in about the issues within the year, when in fact i had twice. Now they want to change that saying insurance only allows a couple months to have them adjusted.We even made it known that we would be willing to pay some of the fee but they still would not allow any changes. When we said wed be happy to go elsewhere the optician,stated above, didnt even try to keep our service and simply said, okay, she understood. (Never heard of an office not try to keep a patient-especially when its 4 patients theyd be losing). Its sad that in this world all that is cared about is money.

6-23-21 at 1pm I was told that I could walk in and be seen at 10am I arrive at 9:30am I was called to be seen by the doctor they seated me in a waiting room in the back . they had me wait for 1hr and 15min then called me up front to say that the doctor can’t see me because of her schedule! I don’t believe that is the case at all the schedules are planned weeks ahead! I believe it was my appearance that made them refuse me service (BLACK) I could be wrong but that’s the vibe I got! Was a patient of Dr Davis before he retired great man! But I will never step foot in this F-king place again! Giving them a star is the only why I could have post a comment but they don’t deserve none!🤬wtf 🤬🤬
I cannot for the life of me figure out how this business has so many negative reviews. My husband and I went for his eye appointment and the staff was extremely kind and friendly throughout the entire process. He was seen right at his appointment time and one of the ladies from the front even checked on me to make sure I was just waiting for someone in the lobby and that they hadnt missed me. Another lady was also very nice and helpful while helping my husband choose his glasses and he received his new pair in two weeks, exactly as they told him at checkout. Most of the negative reviews Ive seen are about answering the phone, but my husband called one time and made an appointment with no issues. I cant say enough positive things about this place, Ill definitely go here myself when my eyes start to go! Thank you to the whole staff for a great experience from beginning to end.

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. This is the third time that this particular place completely lied to me to my face. I am not writing this review because I am bitter, I am writing this review to forewarn others who will be in the current situation I am in. I was told on numerous occasions that my glasses would be in in about 6 weeks. My husband and I had our eye appointments on April 22nd. Today is June 2nd. My husband and I ordered the exact same frames from the exact same manufacturer. He got his glasses last week, his was late but at least he got his. I have been calling for about 3 weeks now checking in to see if mines are in and I am given the same sob story that “they are on back order”, “the company said it will be as soon as they can but no one gave a time”. Apparently, it’s everyone else’s fault besides Cayce Eye Associates. It would be nice if this place would actually take ownership that they messed up my order. Not the manufacture. I wonder if the associates at this place wonder how ignorant they sound when they keep passing the blame off on everyone else. And that’s if you even get them on the phone. This place is notorious for never answering the phone. Talk about good customer service, huh? And this is the 21st century we are living in...why should it take 2 months to get a pair of prescription glasses. And the doctor wouldn’t even give me trial set of contacts while I wait on my frames, that’s how money hungry this place is. Everything goes great until you hand over your money to them and after that you’re basically on your own. Don’t waste your time nor energy on this place. Please don’t be in the same messed up situation I’m in. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!
Promptly saw me at my appointment time. Got complete eye exam and consultation in 48 mins. Very clean office and courteous staff. My doctor was thorough and proficient, friendly and extremely smart, explaining in detail my eye conditions. Prices were so low that I thought I went back in time. I highly recommend these fine people.

They never answer. I have been trying to call and make an appointment since November and can never get through. The phone lines are always busy or go straight to voicemail, and I never get a phone call back. I will be taking my business elsewhere so that I am able to call and make an appointment without having issues.
Love the glasses I purchase here, but they NEVER answer the phone. Which make things extremely difficult when you work 9-5 Mon-Fri.
I have been going to Eye Associtates of Cayce ever since I was a little girl. The staff is always so nice. Dr. Ferguson is great!! I would highly recommend this office!!
The doctors and vision area are awesome and very helpful. However, the appointment desk/service area are not. They don’t seem to be concerned with returning calls regarding appointments and picking up glasses/contacts.
Both of my children had appointments yesterday with Dr.Kleckey. She was extremely friendly and took her time with their eye exams. Im glad I found this place. They were great.

Never answering the phone to take appointments, nor having a venue to make an appointment is ruining your practice. I even came in and made three appointments 6 weeks out and the person wrote down different dates than the dates she told me...wow...
It made me click a star or I would give Eye Associates 0 stars. Worst customer service ever! The past several times we have ordered glasses-my husband, son, and me-we were told they would be ready in two weeks and 5 weeks later, still no glasses. No apologies offered when we called to inquire about when they would be ready to pick up. Every time I call, the phone goes straight to voice mail. The receptionists never answer the phone and when I leave a voice mail, the call is usually not returned. As of this week, my family will be taking their business elsewhere. The nosepiece broke of my glasses, the lens popped out of my spare pair of glasses and I could not get it back in. I desperately needed to get them repaired. I called on Thursday and the earliest they could see me was the following Thursday. That same afternoon I went to another eye doctor, walked right in, had my glasses repaired and was out the door in less than 5 minutes. If you are looking for good customer service, do NOT go to Eye Associates. Not to mention, they never get the prescription right in our glasses and after waiting 5 weeks for them, we then have to wait five more weeks. Worst customer service ever. Dr. Efron would be appalled at how Eye Associates is now treating their customers. We sure do miss him!
Amazing! In and out in less than an hour every year! Half our in 2020. Kinda glad H Rubin shut down. Get my contacts mailed to me for free for cheaper too! Love these guys.
Have been going here since 2014. Very nice staff. Had Dr King at first and now Dr Henry and she is wonderful. The selection of glasses change with the seasons and stay in trend.
Personally for me, I like to be able to reach my provider when I have a question or need something done especially when there is a time constraint. This place is extremely hard to get in contact with despite voicemails and an email. For this reason, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Love the optometrist, but not pleased with the rest of the staff.

Several of my last experiences before coming to Eye Associates were pretty bad. They were a chain company. I went to save money, but in the end, you still pay a lot for such bad service. I sent Eye Associates a message explaining my needs and wanting some information. Someone promptly responded and explained everything. They were friendly on the phone when I called to schedule an appointment (which they had an opening the next day) and also just as friendly from the time I opened the door and walked in. I really liked my eye doctor, Rachel Ferguson. She was very thorough and such a nice person who listens. I was worried that they’d not be able to find a good pair of contacts for me. I’m on my trial pair and I think these are going to work out nicely. What a relief! Also, I want to say that they’re not pushy. They don’t encourage you to take any tests that you really don’t need. Nor do they push you or intimidate you into buying more than what you came for. I’m just so relieved to find such a great place!
While the optometrist seemed to be competent unfortunately that is where it ended. Got my prescription and instead of getting it filled online (for less) I decided to try to support local business. BIG MISTAKE!!! I was told 2 weeks to have them back and 6 weeks later still no glasses and no one seems to be able to give me any details on when i might actually get them.
When I 1st walked in,A Staff member stated that it should have taken me longer to get in!! I called Tuesday & got in on Friday!!! The Obstetrician was Great! Very Professional!!! The other staff need more Cultural Diversity Experience
My children and I love Eye Associates! Dr. Henry is wonderful! The only complaint I have is the phone service. Someone needs to be hired to strictly answer phones and make appointments all day because apparently EVERYONE else is too busy. I have to call at least 3 days in a row or more to finally get an appointment. It says leave your name, number, and date of birth and someone will call back but no one ever calls back. Just answer the phone and this place will be top notch.

The eye doctors do their job. When we picked out and order glasses, thats where the buck stops. Went in with my granddaughter in August. Its October and we still dont have them!!!!!! If I wouldnt have called about them, they would have never been ordered!! I had a problem last year work them taking so long. Im done! I will never go back there.
Ive been coming to Eye Associates for 5-6 years. I started coming because they took my insurance, but stayed because the drs and staff have always taken care of me. The doctors are all great, and the staff was helpful and friendly when i came in last month. My glasses took a little over two weeks to come in, but I think it was worth the wait! I have referred a few friends here over the years, and will continue to do so!
I love this office. I have gone to 2 other eye drs over the years and this office, by far, is the best. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. They also explain insurance and cost, (which they have no control over) to help you understand why things are what they are. I will be coming here for years to come!!! Thank y’all for all you do!
I love our doctor (she is great with a wonderful bedside manner), but that is the only thing I like about this place. I have been going there for many, many years and the current personal is rude and could care less about the client. Just rescheduled my appointment and once this was done, the person on the other end rudely hung up on me without saying good-bye, have a nice day, or bug off!
Do not let them tell you your glasses will be ready in 2 weeks! that is a blatant lie! it is 14 business days so minimum of 3 weeks. also don’t expect a phone call when your glasses are ready. also don’t expect them to answer the phone unless you call 20 times in a row. also don’t expect to be helped in a timely manner unless the staff overhears you talking about leaving a bad review. and if you have any problems, DEFINITELY expect some excuse as to why it’s not their fault.
Maggie in the optical store is wonderful! She is so helpful, kind, and patient. She makes sure you are 100% happy with your purchase before you walk out the door. She will give you her honest opinion and is never pushy. She is the reason I keep coming back to this office to purchase glasses.
I agree with the other posters about bad review of this place. Wish I have seen it before I stepped in the place. No one takes phone calls. No one returns phone call. If you choose option to take new appointment then only you may have chance to talk to someone before they transfer to voice mail. It has been already 4 weeks I paid deposit for glasses. It has not come in yet. I went there personally. The All-star posts are fake believe me. Do recommend dot go there. Also they rude people you will find out after taking your business.
1 / 5 stars, only because I did in fact get a pair of glasses. I paid for an eye exam and the glasses, which cost over $300 in all... and not until after I had picked glasses and paid did they inform me that it would take two weeks for them to arrive. However, by two weeks the employees actually meant “fourteen business days sometimes a little longer.” Then, I wasn’t informed that they had arrived until Day 15, at 5:00pm after I called, myself, to check on them and was finally told they had arrived and hadn’t gotten around to informing me by calling me. When I went in, I waited 20 minutes and overhead another employee tell a customer “two weeks” while his card was ringing up to pay. Only went here because it was the closest eye location to my apartment, but will never go here again.
It takes over two weeks to get some glasses but the staff is nice.
Have been going here for several years and never had a problem. Woke up Saturday to my eye almost swollen shut. Called their office and was told they could not see me. I could make an appointment for Monday or go to emergency room. Evidently they were not concerned about my vision so want be returning to this place.
The staff & doctor were very friendly and knowledgeable. My mom had a great experience there. I am going to start going there myself.
I really like this office. Everyone that works there is really friendly and professional. The glasses selection is lacking, but my biggest complaint, is how difficult it is to schedule an appointment. Often, when I call, Ill get the voicemail, and chances are that my call wont get returned, so Ill have to try again. I called 3 times to get a person on the phone, and left one message that was never returned. The review would be 5 stars if it wasnt for the frustration of scheduling an appointment.
Waited over 45 minutes, people who missed their appointments got seen instead of us. I guess they do not care about appointments show up whenever you like
When I called for info, the girl answered all my questions, wasnt in a hurry, never put me on hold, and acted like I was the only person she had to help all day long. I loved it. When we showed up for our appointment, there was only 1 other family waiting and we were called back within a few minutes. The doctor stayed with me until my exam was completed and walked me to the eyeglass area to pick out frames. I love that I was not herded like cattle from here to there with a lot of waiting in between. It all ran very smoothly and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Best eye exam experience Ive ever had. My special needs daughter was also examined that day and she was treated with patience, respect, and love. Loved this place. So glad I discovered Eye Associates of Cayce & West Columbia.
The doctor we see here is great...but thats where it ends. Its nearly impossible to get someone to actually answer the phone and when you do, they arent usually friendly. The first time we ordered glasses it took almost 7 weeks for them to arrive. So, now I get my exam here and order my glasses from Wal-Mart and you get the glasses back much faster.
My daughter and i have been denied appts. We are both disabled in had been having a hard time lately getting to our appts due to our disabilities. I tried to explain this but the women on the phone kept talking loudly over me and then hung up on me. I looked up information i think i was talking to Jennifer. Not sure but anyway she has no business working in a doctor office. She would be better suited for working in fast food where it is expected to be treated like trash. I will be filing complaints with consumers affairs & the BBB. Please anyone thinking of coming here please dont. Read all the complaints not only here but on YELP also. I go by Jewel but my name is Donna and my daughter is Victoria. Remember me Jennifer i sent a e-mail trying to explain but you were to busy talking loudly over me being rude then hanging up on me . Not only did you upset me but my autistic daughter. I will be hearing back from my lawyer after he reads all these reviews to if i have a case for emotional distress. You have a good day yourself; just as you screamed in my ear when you hung up on me.

SLOW service, like takes almost 1 month to get glasses. some woman i spoke to today was over the top rude when i complained about the length of time. i told her i was going to get my 2nd pair elsewhere, and she informed me (while interrupting and over-talking) that i was welcome to do that, and even cancel my current order (its been 3 weeks today) and take my business where ever i wanted. done. (the eye docs are nice and seem competent)
I am very disappointed I have gotten three eye exams my glasses are still not right I get horrible headaches cant see long-distance and trying to read I have to pull the books away from me or tilt my head back to look at a computer I have complained and complained and complained. They set me up an appointment today for 11:45 I sat there for 30 minutes no one else in the office but me I never got called back to be seen. 40 minutes later a couple walks in they sat down they got called straight to the back are you kidding me as if my complaints are not important my prescription is not right the glasses are not right I have horrible headaches and my vision is blurry something is wrong and they dont care to fix it time to find a new Doctor I walked out without saying anything please do not come here you will be wasting your time and money 3-4 $500 for a pair of glasses that you still cant see out of them
They are slow and give false information. Was told Monday my glasses would be available in a day or two and go to pick up that Friday and they still wasn’t in. That will make almost a month to wait on a pair of glasses. Definitely will not use them next time
If you can see the doctor and go get glasses elsewhere then this place is fantastic! Great doctors - but agree with the rest of the posters on the glasses part. There is no way it should take as long as it does to order glasses or to receive them.

DO NOT let these people take any of your money my 8 year old son and I sat in the waiting room while my elderly (in her late 70s) mother went into the back for her appointment that the DOCTOR WAS 20 MINUTES LATE TO and were not notified in any way at all. I understand that things happen sometimes but no one informed my mother AT ALL that the doctor was running late. my mother informed us that when the doctor finally came into the room she acted like nothing was even wrong. didnt even have the manners to apologize for being so unprofessionally late that was the first of 3 appointments my mother had scheduled that day and we had to cancel her second appointment which we had to pay a cancelation fee for due to this and also while i waited my son and I over heard a group of employees talking negatively and inappropriately about some of their customers while the phones were ringning off the flippin hook not only is the staff extremely unprofessional and unorganized but the glasses that my mother paid over $200 for were literally shoved in some messy cabinet behind the reception area when we went back to pick them up almost one full month after ordering them. I am just aboslutely amazed at how horrible of a doctors office this is and am so embarrassed for letting my mother get her glasses from there save your time and money and sanity and go somewhere else
Its has been 6 weeks and I still have no glasses. they already took the money from my account and when I call (which is weekly) I get oh they will be in this week.. here it is week 6 and I am being told the same thing.. I will check today Horrible customer service. Find another place because with this business you wont be seeing for a long time.
I have been waiting over 5 weeks for my glasses now, and cannot get anyone to answer the phone in the office. customer service sucks. Plus, I have left voice mails and even sent an email from their website and cannot get anyone to respond. will never use them again.Two weeks since my post above- still no glasses. I called and called, and no one ever answered the phone. Left two messages, and no one ever called back. I ended up having to go by the office, there was NOBODY there waiting on service, then I was told that (1) the first shipment of my glasses was lost; and then (2) the vendor was working on my glasses and broke the lenses, and had to start over.Time for a new vendor. they just lost my business.

Ive been going to Eye Associates of Cayce for years. No complaints at all. Staff is always friendly, and Dr. Kleckly is simply delightful and always takes great care of my eyes! Sure, sometimes theres a wait, and sometimes my glasses take a little longer than expected to receive. Not a deal breaker for me - things happen, often out of their control.
Ive been coming here for years.. They are FANTATIC.. Always have my contacts and glasses in very quickly, I havent had to wait very long for my exam or fitting. Its always an in and out experience.. I love this place
I went today to get my eye glasses adjusted bc I always go there for this service bc its near me. Just to let you know dont go there on your lunch hour bc theyre at lunch too. You might need to take an xtra hour. Really!!!❤
Dr. Henry was very nice and knowledgeable. Staff was efficient and courteous. I have not ordered contacts therefore I cannot comment on that aspect of the office.
Have been waiting for my glasses for over a month. All I needed were new lenses. Every time I call no one answers, I have gone up there THREE times now only to be told they should be coming in any day now. Do not come here.

The exam and experience was pleasant and efficient. Short waiting room times and Dr. Kleckley takes her time to make sure your prescription works.I ordered a new pair of safety glasses and had a pair of safety sunglasses relensed. They informed me of a two to three week turn around for the glasses. After six weeks of waiting I called to check on them. They just came in yesterday, I was told. Perfect timing on my phone call? I ask if the safety lenses are marked for compliance as is standard for safety glasses. They werent. Now Ill have to wait for a turn around trip to and from the lab to insure they are in fact safety lenses. On a positive note, the safety sunglasses are compliant(made at Wileys lab) and are being shipped to meUnfortunately, this experience mirrors the experience I had at Eye Associates four years ago when I last used them. The same long wait.The same phone call from me with the same they just came in response. The same lack of lab stamp on the safety lenses resulting in the same extended wait for my new eyeglasses.Perhaps in their defense, my insurers lab has to make my lenses and is out of their hands. At the same time, that is irrelevant to me. When it become obvious a customer wont get their product anywhere near the quoted time frame, give them some notice. A phone call, an email, an actual letter...or whatever.
They are all so nice and great at what they do. I always have a great experience. No waiting either.
As I write this, Ive been on hold for 16 minutes and 32 seconds :-(Update: Well I waited 20 minutes, hung up and called back. They said that the associated in the fitting area was busy, so I left my name and number.24 hours later....I never got my call back.Two years ago, my wife and son walked out and have never been back because of multiple excessive wait times in the lobby and the exam room.I didnt really want to change but its probably time to rethink.
Convenience is the best quality for this place. Slow service. The eye doctor gave us a guess diagnosis on something rarely seen. I eventually ignored him after much wrangling over insurance and referral. They take eyemed and are closest to us.
Bad customer service and poor representatives. I ordered my glasses over a month ago and was promised they would be here in no more than 2 weeks. Yet I still havent gotten them. I went here because of the convenient location, but trust me, it would be worth the extra drive to go somewhere else

I had to wait over a month to get my eye glasses, when the glasses finally did come in they had the wrong prescription in them.I went to these guys because they have an agreement with my employer to provide us with prescription safety glasses.I went to these guys, had an eye exam, they cant treat you for glaucoma (which I have) so they referred me to a Dr that was a one hour drive away.Obviously I will have to find another Dr that can treat glaucoma, and then pay for the exam out of my pocket - because Ive wasted my one eye exam for the year with these jokers.Overall Im dissatisfied with the service; they cant treat glaucoma, theyre very slow with service, I was really rushed while there, they really seem only interested in getting my money and getting me out the door.
Three years in a row we have had to wait more than 5 weeks on glasses to return. The Dr is fantastic, but what good is that if you cant get your glasses
If you want an eye exam, sure go here. However if you want your glasses your going to have to wait 3 weeks after they were supposed to arrive (3 weeks after ordering). All while they make excuses that contradict the other excuses they make
The Doctor and staff were pleasant to deal with, the wait time in the office was minimal, however to wait 3 weeks for glasses is lousy customer service. I have been given the same excuse 3 times when calling to check on the status.
I have been a patient for several years. Dr. Kleckley genuinely cares about her patients and is a joy to have as a doctor.
The worst eye doctor Ive ever been to. The wait is always ridiculous even if you get there early. And Ive always had to call them asking if my glasses are ready because they never seem to call me.
I have been trying to get a complete set of glasses since early February. They are none responsive. Very disappointed in customer care and staff follow up.
I absolutely love coming to Eye Associates of Cayce for my eye exams. They are always very thorough which is especially great because of my poor vision. However, my last experience ordering contact lenses has discouraged me from ever ordering from them again. I went in for my annual eye exam on January 6th, 2016. During that visit I ordered a years supply of contacts, 2 boxes of 6 lenses for each eye. As of today, March 10th, 2016 (2 full months later), I have yet to receive 2 of those boxes. I understand the concept of back order but there is no way under the sun that someone should have to wait 2 months to receive a contact order no matter where they are coming from. Not to mention when ordering contacts the previous year, they placed an order for the wrong prescription. One mistake, I can forgive but after that its time to move on.Ill continue to go to Eye Associates of Cayce for my eye exams but now I know to never order contacts from them again.
My eye exam was thorough and my wait time was reasonable

I went because of an agreement with my employer for safety glasses, lets just say I couldnt even use them they made me dizzy. Took them back and was told the prescription was right and I needed to get use to them, NOT HAPPENING
