I love this place! Ive been in a lot of comic book shops throughout the years but none as unique and special as Silver City. Its the oldest Comic Book Store in the Southeast! Great Staff, Very Knowledgeable & Helpful! Festive, Family Fun Events! Always Great Prices!!

First time there in a number of years. Took my kids, who were genuinely excited as we frequent different comics stores in our area. Was never greeted, didnt at all feel welcome, and felt even less appreciated as we made a purchase of a Batman acrylic light. While not a huge purchase, only $20.00, still money spent. My children were well-behaved, didnt touch anything they were told not to, so I dont know if that was the issue, but we will not be going back. Guess were just not their type of client 😕.

Decent selection of current issues. Back stock not properly cared for and older issues are way overpriced. Staff is ok, not overly knowledgeable and not very attentive.

Be prepared to spend $5 on new comics. They mark them up and sometimes have sales to bring them back down to cover price (thats been my most recent experience). The new books arent sun-bleached, but the the unbagged, unboarded mess that is the rest of the store surely are, including what were probably once very nice historical key issues. I know its the oldest shop in Columbia, but I cant in my right mind give them my money when there are so many awesome options around town with way better stock.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable They constantly rotate stock and change displays. Great place for a comic lover.

Great comic store, lots of random old and newer back stock at pretty decent prices. Make sure to dig through everything for some excellent finds!

The location is fantastic and they have a huge selection of $1 comics.

Place looks cool on the outside, but on the inside its old...had cool merchandise.

My experience was not good at this store! The back issue comics are over priced and there are a lot of them that are sun bleached, but the store still has them priced as though they were VF to NM. You get more for your money at other stores in town.

We come on a weekly basis to get what we want. Great staff!!!
