Good place for tools and hardware on a budget. Tools do the job and last for a reasonable time. As long as you dont abuse them.

Great place to find deals on tools and tool related gizmos. Are they unbreakable tools? No. But good quality and good prices when compared to the high-dollar brand names.

Got a new sliding compound miter saw. Very good price. Used it for the first time today. It makes easy work of cutting miters on 4x6s. This is a great store for tools and accessories at good prices.

Totally nice staff. Nice and cool inside. Of course prices speak for themselves, just be wary about anything mechanical. Hammers etc are great.

Great service at this store--you cant beat HF for good tools at great prices, but this store in particular has some wonderful employees who know their stuff and exactly where everything is located, which is necessary because they pack a lot of inventory into this place.

Ive never had a bad experience at this place.. the employees are very helpful.. prices are good..i use name brand tools for my trade that HF doesnt carry.. but they carry a wide variety of tools and things that I dont buy any place else.. also if something fails you bring it back no questions asked.. that alone speaks volumes..

I love going to HFT whenever Im at a job site. I prefer it over Grainger for tools and a lot of supplies. The one thing though, this is the only HFT within like a 50 mile radius. I had a job in Palm Springs and another in Palm Desert. It needed a specific tool that sadly wasnt worth paying a ton of. Their website said they had that tool available at a really good price! Plus, they had a lot of supplies i needed!!!Imagine my surprise when I went and there were not only no tool, but almost none of the supplies. The worst part was I asked for some help and they took me to some areas but didnt seem to know where their own stuff was. As they said something was out of stock, but then Id find it in another section fully stocked....

It was my first visit to this location. Its smaller than some of the other stores. They carry a lot of power tools. They also have a variety of other items. I was hoping to get a fountain pump, but they only had sump pumps. I will shop there especially for power tools! Arr Arr Arr

I now understand the comment Im going to the play store- (Harbor Freight). That place its like a toy store for men, lol. Extremely wide variety of tools, compressors, air tools, sand paper, miter saw, and whatever else is needed to do the job and have fun while doing it. Well if you like DIY projects this place is for you. Nothing like enjoying what you do and having the right tools for the job. Cashier very helpful and friendly & their return & refund policy has stayed from when they first opened, its still fairly decent.

They had what I wanted but I had to tell them that the website said what I wanted was in the store. Assistant on phone said none but I insisted she looked and she found one. There were actually 4! When got to store asked for some assistance and all they did was point in a direction ...no taking you to the display. Good prices and lots of product. If I could have got product (Viking 4amp standby charger) anywhere else at the same price Id go there!!! Customer service sucks.

This place is great for seldom-used tools at a good price. They are like the Gricery Outlet of home improvement. Only complaint is finding help inside the store other than the front register. You get what you pay for, often a better deal here than the big stores.

It was quick! The store associates were stocking but were on point. The CLUTTER couldve been more thought out... so I gavem 4 stars....

On 8/3/2020 I went into the store to exchange a drill I had purchased the day before. Unfortunately the battery would not charge. I chose a corded drill for the same price.When the cashier rang up the new drill I asked her to take off the 20% coupon as they had on the prior day. She asked me if i had the coupon with me. I told her i did not still have the coupon, but it showed on the receipt.She insisted she could not give me the discount on the exchange to make it an even exchange.She called the manager who also refused to honor my even exchange.She told me that if I did not have the actual coupon I could not get the discount. I tried in vain to explain that the cashier from the prior day took the coupon and this was simply an even exchange.She said this is store policy.This is crazy.I love this stores inventory and convenience but I decided to take my business to Lowes. At least they understand customer service and logic.I hope this review helps the store to re-train their staff.

I just walked out of this store looking for an item that they stated they didn’t have In stock. When I asked the salesman’s to check the Indio store he stated they didn’t have the item either. When I got to my car I called the Indio store to ask if they had this item in stock and they had it. Wow..

They do not have a mobile scooter for handicapped, made shopping trip very quick, woulda probably spent more money if I could of spent some time there.

If you are a woman, and want some alone time: drop the kids at the arcade, and drop your man off here. Give them both some quarters, and disappear for 3-4 hours ;)

Like the fact that things you need for a one time job are cheap. Sometimes it does not take a name brand tool to do a simple one time job. For the normal do it yourselfers, what they sell is sufficient.

This is the place to go for cheap tools and DIY items. Stock changes frequently, but they usually have the basics. Quality is not great, but prices are. Staff are usually friendly.

I was here 11-03-2020 @ 9:30am. They let people inside without masks in violation of State mandates. If Covid is a concern for you go to a different HF than the one at Date Palm and Ramon Road.

I had been coming back for 3 weeks, trying to get a mobile stand for my miter saw. everytime they were out,though it showed one in the system. This was my 4th time coming back and, the same thing. System showed one, but no where to be found. Jasmin (I believe her name was), not only took it upon herself to double check with her own eyes. But also chased me down on my way out to my car to apologies and inform me that she found it. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

Theyre have these huge blow out sales with deals that are amazing. Literally anyone who works in a shop or engineering should be capitalizing on these sales before they are gone. I just so happen to be the handy woman of my house and I am buying piece by piece snagging awesome tools, gadgets, industrial hardware they one uses eventually. Its been great. For mothers day weekend I will try out my new pressure washer on the yard.

It was a sad day today ACE Hardware up the street was closed and forced to venture to Harbor Freight.Cashier greeted with a hello she was really the only one working.Asked guy in aisle where items are located he had no idea and didnt even know if they carried concrete drill bits or concrete screws. No offer to help find. Just left first and last time to go to Harbor FreightThe sale signs to get you to come in their store explain it all as no one in their right mind would go back again.Warning to all save you time and drive a few blocks north to ACE, unless it today they are closed ☹️

Lots of very cool tools and a variety of other product. Lot made in China, but at a price that is affordable to the regular guy/gal doing some work themselves on any number of projects. Youll likely find what you need here if its any kind of tool.

Decent place. They didnt have what I was looking for though (ball joint tool set) even after they verified they had some in stock on their computers. Cant complain about customer service though, and to add it would be nice if they had some refrigerators with drinks in here like Lowes and HD do.

This is a great place if you remember the phrase you get what you pay for. I never buy a power tool here without buying the extended warranty. And Ive almost always had to use it. That said the prices and quality and value still make four a good shopping experience

HFT is the best. I just bought the 800lbs Transmission Jack, which worked great. I have bought a lot of big tools, the big gas powered Air Compressor (4 years strong) in the back of my service truck, 1 & 2 Ton Engine Hoist, all my jacks and Jack Stands. You cant beat them, great price and warranty set up.

Love to get a tool box with all the drawers but I cant afford it dont have the money to pay for it. Im a disabled army veteran with disability and PTSD syndrome 😔.

Harbor freight is what it is. Great deals on one time use tools and Attachments. Any time I have an issue they are very helpful, respectful and responsive.

The people who there a just great. I wish there products were as well. Bought a paint sprayer as mine is in shop being rebuiltthought having a back up would be a good idea. The first one wouldnt even prime the secound one did but seems a bit weak will find out in morning.Boy I sure miss my Titan.I normally buy name brand tools so I guess this one is on me.Good luck with there products you WILL NEED IT

This hardware store has so many items you can get dizzy trying to see them all. The items they do carry may not be the absolute highest quality but they are usually good, sturdy tools
