We were looking for a new Subaru forester and the only one available was at Palm Springs Subaru. Its a long drive but it was worth it.Walter, our salesman, was low key and very helpful during and after we were home.When we got there an Outback caught our attention, especially the power seats, heated and ventilated, were as comfortable as our Cadillac.There was not a high pressure closer, instead the financial guy was also low key and had excellent financial adviceWe recieved much more for our trade in than I expected.A positive experience all around! 😎

Had a bad issue with my car turn into a pleasant experience. Not often do you hear those words drop from someones mouth, yet here I am.Engine in my WRX started clicking/knocking went in to see if it was a power train issue. Sure enough thats exactly what it was, engine blew a bearing. Don helped me out with great service, car was expected to be out for 7 to 10 days. Don responded quickly and gave me updates throughout the week to let me know how it was going along. If i lived closer this is definitely the location I would go. Thanks Don and Palm Springs subaru crew. Oh and the Forrester Sport loaner car was pretty cool.

I just purchased a used Subaru Outback from Subaru, Palm Springs. It was my first car purchase and it could not have gone better! Keith was AMAZING. He was an experienced car salesman but not pushy or unethical like some car salesman Ive dealt with in the past. No matter how many questions I asked, he answered all very well. It didnt even feel like I was buying a car it was that pleasant and laid back an experience. Usually the finance office is where the extra hidden fees are added but not here! Steve from the finance office explained everything very well and nothing additional was added on top of the initial price I agreed on. If you are looking to purchase a Subaru I insist you come to this location.

The service department, including Donald, Stacey, and mechanics involved tried to get thousands of dollars for completely unnecessary work by telling my neighbor and friend, an elderly lady, that her 2016 Forester needed a new drive belt and control arms. I looked over the work order, then inspected the car my self and was astonished to find a perfect, ZERO cracked drive belt. They said it was dried and cracked.Furthermore, they recommended new control arms at $1,250 on a gently driven 4 year old Subaru where a single side just needed a $30 bushing.This is common practice, not an isolated incident, so learn about your vehicle people!Stealership is the perfect word for PS Subaru service department and how they tried to take advantage of someone who would not know better. Upon discussing this with the Service Manager Stacey via email and showing her the pictures of the belt, she was unwilling to relent to the obvious deception to try to swindle an old lady. She just suggested bringing the car back in for re-inspection. No shame, no honesty.

On a long road trip and was having problems with the engine oil light. Don Patterson was terrific in the service department. Even though the mechanics were at lunch, he found somebody to take care of my problem and get me back on the road quickly. Big thumbs up!

Today we took our car in first thing in the morning because our splash guard was loose and banging on the ground as we drove along. They checked the suspension, secured the part that remained, and adjusted the tire pressure. Took about an hour and they charged us nothing. Great service!

I love my Subaru and I love Palm Springs Subaru.I bought my 2014 Forester Limited in late 2013 from them after my salesperson [no longer there] did an exhaustive search for the color and equipment I wanted. After weeks and weeks of searching a lucky break - a nearby dealer swapped vehicles and got my Forester here.PS Subaru has been servicing my Forester since - Mike and Sarah in the service department have stepped up almost any time I needed anything. Even when a mysterious rattle started in the roof, we went through a half-dozen visits to finally track down the culprit - a clearance issue with the sunroof and a support bracket.This is not my first Scooby and will not be the last...!

Do not trust these guys. I drove to this dealership from Los Angeles to buy a used car they had advertised. The salesman had promised the car had just received 60k service and car was in immaculate condition with no real issues other than a dent in the hood that was pulled out. The car looked good and drove good but when I went under the car things got interesting. The car had numerous loose body panels from accidents. The oil filter was from carquest even though they claimed to have serviced it at the dealership. Lastly the engine was leaking oil. All of these items hadnt disclosed to us even though it must have been noticed. The salesman made no effort to fix the situation even though he was clearly embarrassed that I caught it. It was a waste of a whole day and gas etc spent trying to buy a missrepresented car.

It’s been 6 months and I still have not received my extended warranty check that they supposedly sent out 1 month ago. Stay away from this dealership if you hope to be taken care of after the deal is done. Not to mention I paid almost 4,000 for the extended warranty and was told it cost the dealership around 1,000. They made a 3,000 dollar profit off me and still can not refund the check in a timely manner. Stay away and don’t deal with this dealership whatsoever. I contacted the GM multiple times regarding this manner and it still has not been resolved. It tells you a lot about a dealership if the GM can not fix the issue or is willing to fix the issue.

The car is great, and the sales experience was good. But be careful once you go back in the financing or if you are just going over any upgrades. The finance manager, Julian lied to us about our interest rate, and about an added warranty (You will get a full refund if you dont use it within the first 6 months)! I feel like I was dealing with a fly-by-night used car dealership in some shady area of Chicago. We called and sent emails, but heard from no one!! READ ALL THE FINE PRINT!!!!!! Now, we are working with Subaru USA to try to fix things! My advice to you, buy a Toyota!

Absolutely love our new Subie! Bought our first Subaru with Berry at Palm Springs Subaru. They had the exact car we wanted and we drove long distance to buy from them. Was in and out of the sales lot in the amount of time it took to have a nice dinner. Only had a limited amount of time to take off from work to make the purchase. Mr. Jackson got us into this sedan and hes our recommendation to speak with when youre in the market or a vehicle. Wow! Super impressed with the service I received yesterday! My check engine light came on, Juan Flores and Stacey Woodman fit me into the busy schedule quickly and went out of their way to loan me a car so I could run some errands. The service department completed the inspection, fixed the problem, and washed my car too!! It cost about 1/3 of what I was expecting to pay. My service experience couldnt have been any better!! We highly suggest PSS. This was the second Subaru dealership we stopped at and chose to drive the extra hour and a half to PS because their prices couldnt be beat online. We worked with Alan and he was very professional, answered any and all questions we had, and did everything he could to make sure we were getting the best deal on the Subaru we wanted. We wanted some add-ons and they were able to schedule us at a convenient time for us and were professional when we returned for that as well. This place is a JOKE. They’ll promise you the car & then tell you that you need a higher down payment, or a co-signer, even with EXCELLENT credit. They’ll run you around in circles promissing the car is yours without getting their info in order. They pressure you hard core & won’t let you leave the building, promising the car is for sure yours if you get that extra $1000, or 2 or 3. They’ll even pressure you to call relatives & friends for extra money because they insist the more money down, the more certain the car is yours, even when you’ve expressed that you are not comfortable with doing that. Also, if you’re in the service industry, do not even try with these guys. They don’t think tips are a valid proof of income. Even with bank records of cash deposits! Don’t shop at Subaru of Palm Springs. You’re better off taking your time & money elsewhere.

I have purchased two vehicles from Palm Springs Subaru. They are my go-to dealership and I live in Orange County. The GM Bill is a deal maker and a straight shooter. John and Allen in sales are tremendous and professional. I dont plan on buying a car at any other dealership. I am sure a lot of people read these reviews and believe the rater somehow works at the dealership or has some financial incentive. This is not the case as I rarely write reviews, but I think its important for readers to know how great Palm Springs Subaru is at working deals, having great inventory and offering great service. I have purchased over 20 cars in my life (yes, I have a problem) and I have NEVER worked with a dealership that is as great as Palm Springs Subaru. If youre looking for a new or used vehicle, look no further.

Sales guy was super nice, super honest, gave us a good deal on our car and explained everything on the contract, unlike the guys at Unicars Honda, they lied to us and the only way to get out of the contract was getting another car, went to PSS and they made everything easy! Sales guy even came on his day off to come help me finish the deal, even when I was off work late! Guys at parts department are also super cool and parts are reasonably priced, most dealerships are scams and have a lot of people just trying to get commission but these guys were super helpful, our 3rd Subaru is definitely going to be purchased here! Ill just start by saying that buying a new car from Palm Springs Subaru was an unbelievably pleasant experience. It could not have gone better. My salesman, Gilbert, was straight up and never played any games.I just recently purchased a new car from Palm Springs Subaru. Palm Springs Subaru is over 2 hours drive from my home. I sent an email through their website asking for a price quote on a WRX. Gilbert quickly responded to my email with a great price. I told him that I was interested and continued contacting the many Subaru dealers in SoCal looking for a price. I got prices from a few dealers closer to my home, but none as good as Palm Springs. I called Gilbert a couple days later on a Friday afternoon and told him that I wanted the car. I asked him to send me the final numbers before I made the long drive down there which he did. I know he was very busy but didnt leave work that night until he sent me the requested information. I told him that I would be there first thing in the morning.I showed up first thing in the morning, met Gilbert and asked if I could drive the car. After a quick drive we went in to finish the paperwork which was quick and painless. After Gilbert got me all set up he sent me in to LouLou in financing to finish everything and she was also great.I was at the dealership for less than 90 minutes before I started my drive home in my new car. So happy with these guys. I wouldnt hesitate to make the long drive to Palm Springs to buy a car there in the future. It was totally worth the drive. You dont have to deal with other dealers. Gilbert gave great customer service with all my requests through phone and email. A pleasure to buy from.

So there I was on a roughly 1600 mile road trip down, across and then back up California. I had new tires put on the car four months before, a full rainex coating a month before in case of bad weather and an oil change two weeks ahead. I was not expecting trouble but trouble came in the evening, the day before Christmas Eve. Subaru Palm Springs opened early the day after Christmas. Although they had a heavy schedule, they found a way to fit a ball bearing failure in a wheel hub repair into their plan. I am very grateful as I had to travel to San Diego for a family emergency as soon as possible. They were informative, accommodating and I would recommend them without reservation.

I’ve had my vehicle in for service since Nov. 25 2017. The service department is the worst. Not only do they not call me back they don’t answer calls. They had made this experience so horrible. I still till this day HAVE NOT HEARD BACK AND THEY STILL HAVE MY CAR. I’ve spoke with the Subaru β€œonline chat” and still nothing. Everyone β€œwill get back to me” and I still have not heard anything. I will never have anyone come here and this will be my last. So horrible. Big thanks to Mike and Sarah! They keep my 2015 outback running great! This dealership has met and exceeded all of my expectations!! Long story short they found window issues and replaced both front windows. which had me wondering if i would have to apply window tint as i already had. Mike called and said the outback was ready for pick up, i then head down ready to ask about my windows figuring it to just be my responsibility. I arrived and the window glass had been replaced and the windows retinted at no extra cost to me! Very big thank you to Mike and Sarah for working as a team to provide awesome service!

We took the subie in for a safety recall for an air bag module. It took about 2 and a half hours. Rather than waiting there for the whole time, they suggested a diner for breakfast and had someone drop us off and pick us up. The food was good and when we got back to the dealership, we waited in a sitting area and had coffee, cold water and watched tv. When we were done they told us they did a multi point inspection which was nice and even washed our car. A little vacuuming or dusting out the floor mats would have been nice but they still went above and beyond in our opinions. Thank you for treating us so well.

Husband and I showed up at this Subaru location today at around 2pm. We are in the market to buy a compact SUV we are really interested in the forester so we came down to test drive and take a look at them. We showed up and waited for about 30 minutes nobody came out nobody asked us if we needed help nothing. My husband walked inside twice. He told the guy at the door that we wanted to look at some foresters and he was told they would get someone to help us. 10 minutes later nobody ever came, this happened twice and nobody ever showed up to talk to us. This has never happened to us at a car dealership before they must not need to sell. We left and we are must likely never coming back to this location. We will drive to San Diego or some other city next time.

I came here for an oil change for my 2014 Forester, they told me I needed new rear brakes and a new rear windshield wiper. I declined and told them I wanted a second opinion, as I knew my rear windshield wiper was in like-new condition. Two months later I took my car in to an independent shop and they said my rear brakes were not in need of replacement. I will not go back to this dealership.
