Man I have run up and down looking for good prices. Best yet.the first person I spoke to took me right 2 what I needed. The place has lots of space 2 move around. And clean. The girl at the counter was super sweet and nice. Big plus.makes me want to go back 4 what ever I need. Easy getting in and out.best of luck 2 u when u go.

I went in to buy a gun and they had a handful left so I tried asking the associates for information and they acted like I was annoying them just shrugged and barly answered anything. Im not going to beg someone for products and they didnt seem interested in selling me anything. I used to love this place but recently they never have the products I need (like womans work boots)and the customer service sucks. Not going back to be treated like that and waste my time.

Went in today to get my dogs vaccines updated . They have a Vet advertisement from 1 to 5 p.m. After I signed in the Vet did not greet me or say a word. I waited and walked my dog around the story. There were 5 people there. One lady and her son had been there 3 HOURS !! They were before me..The Vet was a tall grey haired old man without an ounce of respect for peoples time !! I waited an hour for a simple rabies shot as he rambled on as if we was chatting at the kitchen table. It was bad. Never got it. Hope the lady that was there 3 hours got in. The manager should address this behavior Covid19 and all we are all still very busy ! Think that Vet should supplement his retirement another way.

Used to love going to Cal Ranch to grab my Animal Food and Carhartt Beanies but today the old broad at the front register went out of her way to give us the worst customer service I have ever seen. Just because Im not wearing a cowboy hat or Cat lady sweater doesnt mean I dont deserve 100% from the employees, shame on her for showing the younger gals that a phone conversation is more important than a line of people with money in hand. Transfer the call and Smile Karen. Mexicans shop at Cal Ranch too.

Everytime I go into this store they are always nice and make you feel welcomed. Staff is very knowledgeable and not afraid to take time out of their day to help you with any question you have. Scott n the sporting goods department is always nice and helpful and just all around a good person.

If you want to meet the most rude unfriendly Person in the world go to this store go back by the gun counter and talk to the guy with grey hair behind the counter

There are a few staff that are exceptional, however, when you tell someone to come back tomorrow for the freedom friday sale and have no sale, it is quite aggravating. Was told I could come get an AR on sale came in ready to buy, got turned away literally over a couple bucks because they didnt want to honor the sale which turned out to be an every day price on the only gun they had in stock. The other option was the exact same but priced $30 more..

Spent $1300.00 on a safe. They told me that they had 2 new ones in back, but what do they deliver? dusty, dirty floor model that they couldnt even clean..Update: I went back to the store to let them know of my dissatisfaction. The manager was very nice and apologized for the condition that it was delivered in. He did compensate me for my time and was quite pleasant to deal with.

This is a great store that offers just a bit of everything. You will find firearms, clothing, pet supplies, jewelry, ranching needs, home decoration, and old school candies and sodas. This is hands down my favorite store in town no other place comes close.

2nd time employee extremely rude?

Use to work there, was let go because I let my uncle use my discount. Never informed about policy of discount, never given a handbook about policies but corporate stated that I did. And one employee lost a firearms and he still has a job, funny way for me to get fired..

Waited over 10min at the gun counter today and was completely ignored. The guy working walked by me 2 times and I went and stood right by him. He didnt even bother to acknowledge I was there. I was ready to purchase a new rifle and ammo and couldnt even get a be with you in a moment. Horrible service. Not a single store worker asked if I needed anything at any time.

Went to go buy a gun for my wife (I had bought an AR here before) old man in the gun department was terribly rude. I was trying to inspect the gun to get a feel of it and I was rudely told to put “his” gun down because I didn’t ask (although it was obviously out of the counter because I asked.) As a customer you want to know what you’re buying. Long story short I will never go back! Went to the gun shop on pinal and their customer service is amazing. Bought the gun I wanted for a better price. Cal ranch has good items but horrible customer service.

Went in on Monday night to get Purina Dog Chow and they were completely out! When I asked the cashier Kayla about it, she went above and beyond to try to help me find what i needed. In the end, they didnt have any, but just the fact that, that young lady went out of her way to try to get me what i needed was truly awesome! Thank you all very much!

These racist dirtbags needed to see a camera recording to feign customer service. This recording started AFTER she had me waiting through 6 other customers to receive my change because she already closed the register. Also I was followed around the store by no less than 2 employees the entire time, because guess what!? I had the darkest skin in the building so that means either Im stealing, but if not make sure to harass me out of the store since our outrageously high prices didnt keep him from shopping here. Id file a police report or civil lawsuit if I didnt live in this racist town founded by child molesters. Long story short, stay away from this store and this town of youre any darker than a pair of khakis. However, if you happen to be from The Hills Have Eyes youll feel right at home.

On the afternoon of 1- 25 -18 the male store clerk in the gun department lied to me twice when i tried to pick up a gun i had sent there. More than once he told me it was my problem that i couldnt get the gun even though it had been delivered. To make it short i had to call the manager who was very nice and did correct the situation but i will not patronize that store ever again.

Have been there twice on the last month to buy boots. 1st pair for husband, 2nd for daughter. They did not have with persons size. This is crazy. They do not have odd ball sizes. They just really do not have a selection.. Headed to Boot Barn for the second time in a month.

I want to give 5 stars, but they have a few service reps that chat among each other and fail to meet customers needs. Manager is nice enough to turn a blind eye to this. Good prices, very knowledgeable sports dept, helpful gentlemen for heavy carry-outs. Sorry to see an excellent place fall short due to a few lazy girls, just being girls in the workplace.

Interesting large store selling hardware, ranch supplies, pet supplies, a variety of jeans and clothing. They often sell live baby chicks, which kids love to see. Also has camping and sporting sections.

Wonderful store. This was our first time there and we were impressed. They have everything you would expect from a ranch store and more!

Best price I could find in CG to fill up propane tanks currently at 2.50 per gallon. Pull up and call the store and someone will come out shortly and fill them up. You have to back inside to pay.

Employees are always helpful and nice. I injoy shopping at C-A-L Ranch store. Even if some of the prices are higher thin other places. ☺☺☺

If you want to stop gun violence in America, staff all the gun stores with the people who work the gun counter at this store.Can’t give away your money if you try, workers spending time on customers who has no intention of buying a gun asking endless questions, zero urgency from any of the clerks, stood with money in hand for 10 minutes and finally walked out, too expensive of a store in the first place.

Fair prices. Good prices if American made. Large variety. Camping gear, guns, animal food, western clothing & some outdoor furniture.

Well stocked farm store. Propane is cheaper here than anyplace in town $2.29 a gal. Serivce has been great.

Although sometimes the employees are knowledgeable about an item I find that most times they have no idea what theyre selling. UPDATE: It seems that this is no longer the place to go for if you have horses. They are now carrying less than they use to so now the only option is Amazon which really saddens me. Even tractor supply is not carrying alot of items even though they have price labels on the shelves for it. These stores are trying to make as much money possible by selling such a variety of items and in the process they are selling less in each category and adding more categories. Maybe if they worried about selling less clothing to all the drugstore cowboys they could sell what I need for my damn horse. Im not going to say what i was looking for because its not just one item they need to restock. Time to give amazon my money.

The people here at Cal Ranch are amazing they are very helpful they go out of their way to help with any problem you might have with the merchandise and Ive always had a very good experience each time Ive gone here whether it be to look at gun or whether it be to look for clothes I really like shopping at Cal Ranch.

I went in to purchase work boots for my husband; they did not have his size (in fact, they lacked a good range of sizes!). I asked to order the boot; I spoke directly with the manager. She assured me that the size I was looking for, in that exact boot, was on a shipment that would be in by Thursday of that week (I was there on a Monday). Called the following Monday after not receiving a call as promised; they had no idea when that shipment would be in... so I asked to special order and was told NO since it was on order for their inventory. By Thursday, a week after it was supposed to have been in, I called again. The store was doing inventory and could not give me the boot until it had been scanned into their system... WOW! Worst customer service experience I have experienced!! They not only lost a sale (as I ordered online) but any future business. Would not recommend ordering through them.

CAL Ranch is a very Hometown Store they usually Remember You by name if youve been in there a few times they always go out of their way to help I always have a very enjoyable experience shopping there and I would recommend it to anyone.

I went in with my son, it was a good experience and spent a lot of money. i went back in 6 weeks later wanting to get a pair of boots a lady did come and asked what i wanted, i said a pair of boots for riding and she kept showing me boots that did not have the right heel. she left and i wandered around and did find a pair of boots but now i coundnt find her and i needed the things to pull the boots.up . left and went back in a few days later with my son, we slilt up someone asked him if he wanted help, i looked all around the boot department, no one. i went down the street to a western store and got my boots for less than cal ranch and with good service. so i bought more than the boots. it takes a lot to get a customer but bad service to lose one. i wont be back.

It was our saving grace for a generator during country thunder. For this smaller area this store is a welcome reprieve as we thought we would need to travel an hour longer into the valley for such a place.

I like coming here a dew years ago...The place was kept up...Recently I visited the casa grande store.. Unfortunately, the merchandise is not priced, nor is there a product label on shelf for feeders n water buckets....Items for chickens.

Every time I come here and the employees watch me like Im stealing (which is every single time I visit this store), I fill my cart with 200 small items and have them grab huge items for me and when I get to the register, I tell them I forgot my wallet in my car and then I dont come back. Me and my husband waited yesterday for 40 minutes to get somebody to unlock the cabinet where the Horseshoe tools were so we could buy some horse hoof Nippers but nobody would come and help us .we went up to the desk couple of times to get help . Finally we just left the store.
