Prescription which is time sensitive called in here & wont be ready for at least 5 hours. Now stuck with them. Will never go back
If you’re considering this location as an option to fill your prescriptions, I’d immediately advise you to look elsewhere. As someone who’s previously worked in retail pharmacy, I’m utterly appalled at the lack of compassion and effort present within the staff. The reputation this store has for not answering phone calls is rather understated in comparison to actuality. Neither my doctors nor the pharmacy I’m transferring to have been able to reach this CVS Pharmacy via phone call. When I attempted to take matters into my own hands and call them myself, I was left on hold for over 7 minutes each time before deciding to hang up. In fact, I drove to this location while on hold and I was assisted in person (while STILL on hold) before they even considered touching the phone.A pharmacy’s primary form of contact with medical professionals, insurance, and patients is through phone calls. That being said, this pharmacy holds no respect or regard to all those they work with and provide services for when they neglect these calls. To make matters worse, when I expressed frustrations over these issues, I was shrugged off with excuses.1. “There’s only one pharmacist working right now.” Pharmacists should be reserved for handling prescription transfers and confirmations, why is the pharmacist filling basic Schedule V prescriptions when there’s plenty of technicians available? Is no one else properly certified?2. “We’re one of the busiest pharmacies in the state, things take time.” I personally worked in one of the busiest pharmacies in the state and even with ONE technician and ONE pharmacist working on a SATURDAY, we were still able to answer phone calls and perform our tasks. Why? Because phone calls are a priority when it comes to health care.3. “Call your doctor and just have them send a new one.” When another pharmacy has attempted to call you several times over the span of a week to transfer prescriptions from YOUR pharmacy, it’s entirely inappropriate to blame your own shortcomings on the doctor. Prescription transfers can take a couple of days, but picking up the phone to start that process takes 5 minutes at most. Please do yourself a favor and find another pharmacy that will actually show you compassion and respect. This location provides none of that.
The pharmacy is absolutely ridiculous!! I wait a day and a half for blood pressure meds and they tell me they are 3 days behind. How is that legal?? We had to go back to the er because we waited and was after hrs that point and they never filled the prescription.
Ive routinely been able to pick up narcotics with the incorrect dosage from this pharmacy. ALWAYS COUNT NARCOTICS AT THE COUNTER. Also, this pharmacy will accept emergency prescriptions from the hospital and refuse to fill the prescriptions until they have TWO Pharmacist scheduled to work. As if the scheduling conflicts of their employees should be passed on to patients. It shouldnt, but it does. If you ask to speak to a Manager, you will be put on a never hold.
Avoid like the plauge. This place is horrible
I scheduled my covid vaccination appointment here, I arrived, checked in, waited 40 mins and left without being vaccinated. (No one was vaccinated during that time.) I understand that everywhere is short staffed. However no communication, nada. The pharmacist was running around completely aloof as if he had no idea what he was doing or what was going on. He honestly seemed like he was on drugs. I’m going to go elsewhere for my vaccination and I can’t imagine filling prescriptions here 😱
WORST PHARMACY EVER!Incompetent staff, every single one of them had no clue what they were doing.Long story but really wish I didnt have to use this location but good ol Casa Grande, unfortunately only location out here and where my insurance covers so Im forced to go here.
They do not answer the phone, you call and they dont answer 12 minutes and I hung up. They are rude and need more than 4 hours to fill ANY prescription. The auto fill phone service doesnt wirk, they dont call the Dr. If you need refills, hell they dont even notify you if you have no refilks.
The absolute worst pharmacy that I have ever had to deal with. Unfortunately, we have to use CVS due to our insurance. Hopefully a different CVS in Chandler or Gilbert will be better.
I thought Wal-Mart was a terrible pharmacy.... I absolutely dread that I switched to CVS. This is the worst pharmacy EVER!!!!! They do not even deserve 1 star, but I have to put it or I cant post. I wasnt very pleasant at first, to the person who finally answered the phone, after being on the line holding for 45 minutes for someone to answer. The employee did apologize he understood my frustration. If you are thinking of changing pharmacies or are new to the area; DO NOT use CVS in Casa Grande!!! Youll thank me.
Worst pharmacy ever ! They never answer the phone I was on hold for 20 mins. And finally got someone who was the rudest male pharmacist working there who has the additud that he hates his job and he clearly is there only for a pay check I wasnt done asking all my question and he hung up on me I will move pharmacies as soon as I can
Every time I call this store no matter the time of day I stay on hold for 30 plus minutes. I called them once 3 times in one day and stayed on hold for more than 30 minutes and never talked to anybody.
What is wrong with the wait at this pharmacy? There is no explanation for it other than the staff not giving an F
This is the worst CVS Ive ever used. They call you constantly about prescriptions you dont want and when you try to get through to someone nobody EVER picks up the phone. I have spent over an hour on hold (no exaggeration) and never got through anytime Ive called. My only other option is to take my 12 month old into the store and wait in a crowded line? I dont think so.
Extremely disorganized team working here. Prescription wrong, late or they don’t know what is going on.... this is almost every time.Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.
Dont bother with this Pharmacy,. They do not give you the right information, needed a rapid test they said no problem, trying to log into account they said two three days!! What! No good, have had issues with this same Pharmacy before. Never use them again. Its Walgreens from here on.
Be careful, you might get the wrong drug regardless of what your doctor prescribed. Don’t worry he’ll argue your DOCTOR is wrong. Good luck to all.
This is the most incompetent pharmacy, I have ever used. They text me my prescription is ready, I call first to verify they have to he correct medicine, I drive to pick it up, only to find they are giving me the wrong prescription. This has happened to me more than 4 times, really, on one occasion I actually brought my empty medicine bottle to them and they still got it wrong. It took over a week to finally get the correct prescription. In the meantime I am throwing up every night because I dont have the meds I need, but I do have plenty of the other two, they keep giving me today I had to go from one line to the other and wait in. Line each time. They could NOT FIND my Prescription this place is so unorganized and incompetent. Today is my last day using CV normally I do not complain on the web, but today I am this place sucks
The automatic phone service for CVS is terrible. They call you when you don’t need prescriptions refilled, but fail to call you when prescriptions are ready. If you have a new prescription or don’t have the RX number, you have to contact the pharmacy directly and they never answer their phones. It is a terrible pharmacy with inadequate help.
Do not use them.1 they are too expensive for prescriptions. $42 higher than else where2 non-rsponsive to request to transfer prescriptions. Poor customer service3. They showed no concern that I was out of my BP meds and made no effort to transfer my prescriptions. All we got after a week of trying was the lame excuse they were having computer issues....or was it the customer is leaving and we dont care about them.If I Could, I would give them a negative rating.
They need to work on answering the phone I have to wait like 40 min and yet still no answer especially that i need to know if my prescripcion was transferred to their location.
Every time I’ve called I’ve been on hold for no less than 20 mins before I speak to a single live person... when I do finally get through the staff is very short, uninterested in helping with any issue, and just flat out rude... Casa Grande literally has no good pharmacies. Ridiculous.
Update- they have corrected the issue with the safety caps. For 6 months I have requested Non safety caps as I cannot get them open and each time after being on hold for 30 min. I get told the same thing that they have noted it on my account, yet every bottle has a safety cap and the slip with medication info that comes stapled to bag says safety caps.In addition, this location has now started doing covid testing at the drive thru window and is making medication pickup at a stall where you have to handle a tube that everyone else has to get your medication. (Bring gloves to protect yourself) Its like the bank drive thru where you get your money out of the tube/cylinder. This location has now also taken over all prescriptions from cg pharmacy since it closed down. All Too much for a small store, customer service has gone down hill. Phone wait time atleast 30min. Long lines in the pharmacy. Time to change pharmacies.
Been on hold for a total of 40 minutes, I was kicked off the first time at 10 minutes, still no one answered my call. Finally found the fax number on line, but the website was not user friendly. I ended the call after helping myself after the 40 minutes. website showed that the store was not busy. Very frustrating!!
CVS should not be doing Covid testing. They have not added any extra staff to handle the extra crowds of people. Every wait in their drive-through is at least 15 minutes long. This last time, I waited 27 minutes in their drive-through, only to be told that the prescriptions weren’t ready. (The doctor had called them in three hours before.) I was then told they would be ready in 30 minutes. I called back four hours later, and they still weren’t ready! I am switching to a pharmacy that cares more about their patients than just a profit!
Terrible service! Very slow, rude and extremely incompetent! Every time I use this place it takes days to fill the prescription, I dropped my prescription off at 9:30 am went back at 7:00 PM and the rude lady asked me why I was there the prescription wasn’t ready! CVS needs to clean house and get rid of these lazy, rude people at this location
Used to going to CVS in Cave Creek, which is amazing, however the pharmacy at this location lacks in customer experience and customer service. I dropped off a prescription on Friday and received an automated message on Saturday to pick-up the prescription. Upon checkout I discovered that only part of my order was ready. Was told by the person that the other part of my order was not in my file. Turns out it was on the original document and they just missed it. So was told to come back on Monday and pick-up the remainder of my items. Arrived on Monday, checked my order, and discovered only part of the final item was in the order. When I asked they stated, the other part is on back order maybe it will be here tomorrow. Maybe, is this a CVS pharmacy or the local drug dealer? In todays day and age customer experience is everything and with technology the ability to be proactive in sharing information with your customer base is easy, if you care. This place just needs someone who cares to step up and bring this location up to brand standards.
My wife refuses to go in there. Every time she does, she is followed and watched. She doesnt behave weird or do anything to really draw attention to herself, she just simply walks through the door. Being a former LP specialist I know exactly what the clerks in here are doing. Its pretty frowned upon, but obviously it happens anyway.
I have to say the only reason I’m giving them one stars because I cannot give them zero or negative. This is the worst pharmacy in town I warn you do not deal with these people. If you don’t mind waiting two days for a prescription to be delivered or you don’t care if you’re sick and they don’t care when they get it to you and this is your place.
I needed to refill my prescription quickly before my flight that was in 2hrs. The pharmacist was very kind to make it speedy. Very compassionate pharmacist and staff.
Just had the most awful experience with this location. Nearly a month ago I tried to fill a prescription for my son. They only had 2/3 of the item available but since it’s an item that is crucial to keep my son ALIVE, they had me pick up what they had and told me to come back the following week for the remaining box. I paid the full copay and left. I have attempted twice since then to pick up the remaining and have been unable. Today I called and was treated absolutely awful for trying to get this resolved as we have run out of the prescription. First he said my insurance only allows the amount I received. I told him I’ve had the same insurance for 7 years and never had an issue. Then he said the insurance was only billed for 2/3... (not my fault) and he could run the insurance for another box but I would have to pay another copay. I pushed back and said that’s not right. He was very rude and said I shouldn’t have picked up the prescription if it wasn’t complete. (Which is what their Employee told me to do). I called corporate and expressed my frustration and was since called and informed I can come pick up the box at no extra charge but I was extremely bothered by the lack of empathy and terrible customer service. I won’t be back.
Very slow we waited 30 minutes so they can attend us really mad!!!!
Poor customer service. Their managers are incompetent. One manager couldn’t do basic math to know that 3.93 + 1.07 = 5 dollars. I had to do the math for her. She had an attitude and knows nothing about their policies. Of course everyone is a thief in their eyes as well. I’m not surprised that they’re always hiring. The pharmacist/pharmacy are just as bad. Very slow. Nothing is ever ready on time. They all look miserable. 😂 misery loves company. If you can avoid this place, I would stay far away.
It is not that they take too long it’s the simple fact that they have zero organization and they lose prescriptions. The fault lies on the pharmacy manager for his/her incompetence in having a well organized place. Oh and don’t you dare get put on hold because you will grow old on hold.
Thia place is so dame slow i cant believe it takes them 6 hours to get my medications filled. And the doctor put a rush order in. And even after the 6 hours they still said it was going to be 2 more hours of waiting.complete B.S. Ive changed my pharmacy will not be going back to CVS again.
Serious lack of basic professionalism. Long wait times. Clearly disorganized. The Pharmacists literally look at times (frequently) confused. This does not instill confidence in patrons. I overheard patrons speaking to each other expressing concern over the professionalism. I have to ask, CVS if this is as good as you are able to run a pharmacy then why are you even open? Some organization that oversees this needs to take a look. Like whoever the licensing board is for Pharmacies or the FDA or somebody. Because to handle potentially life giving or life taking drugs in such an unprofessional manner HAS to be against the law.
The store clerk was very rude didnt help me with the fact that they made a mistake I
Honestly, there is sometimes a bit of a longer wait because it is the only CVS in town, and some of us are dedicated CVS shoppers, The people are helpful and friendly, and they greet you when you come in. Extra Bucks and coupons are great!
This pharmacy is ridiculous. Me and my 4 children had to switch to here as Walgreens no longer deals with the mental health part of our insurance and my step father has to use this place for his daughter. We never have our scripts on time, they always miss stuff, dont notify us ahead of time that there are any delays on any of the meds and then make a bunch of excuses when we realize that they arent all there. This is ridiculous.
So tired they have something in stock and get there and they dont! So also lose my 35%
Yes, you do tend to wait quite a while for your prescriptions, but the staff in the front of the store are more than awesome. And depending on which one you get in the back at the pharmacy, for the most part the staff is very friendly back there as well.
Miserably slow service and a lack of basic customer service skills. Always seem to get the pharmacy employee who cant operate the computer correctly. Drive through line is often multiple cars deep and you sit there for 45 minutes because the staff is just sooooo slow. Going inside isnt any faster.
You can go in and out they have lots of things and there really friendly
They did a great job and gave me a discount on my prescription.
Always one person working in pharmacy. Very long wait times lately. Not impressed at all with service. Seemed better a few months ago
Rude clerks - pass their time talking to other staff instead of providing customer service. And you wonder why people shop online!
Whoa. If its not too late, have ur doctor send your prescription to a different pharmacy. This place is chaos.
Super slow every time we come and it seems like there is always some reason. The prescription is not ready hate having to come here but its the only one we have
Are you kidding me!?? Everyone behind that counter is like family to me because Im in there so often for my own medication as well as my mothers. They have outstanding customer service & are over the hill busy considering btwn all of the pharmacies in town arent nearly as busy considering none of them won the bid by the insurance companies that would allow their medication to go through a certain in network pharmacy besides all of their existing customers like myself even though I have been bounced around a few times from CVS to Walgreens & bk.They to help them out for a change & help things run a lot smoother. I do also out of a matter of necessity. Make sure to tell them to put all of you medication on AUTO-REFILL & to put you on text alert which means every time CVS has a prescription ready for you to pick up, they will send you a text message & you can just go get it. You may still have a line but at least you know your prescriptions are ready & waiting as you get to the counter. Now if you take something considered a Controlled SUBSTACE like Xanax, pain medicine, Clonazepam, you will have to drop off the Rx yourself & wait for your text when ready. All of the other medicine, all doctors can electronically fax over York Rxs w/o it any problem. I would advise calling CVS & making sure they received everything & ask abt a time frame. Make sure to tell them to text you. If you dont get it that day, almost always just after 9am you will receive your text msg that all is ready. This is for all who dont know a better way to help them help you. Trust me, Im epileptic & take many different drugs & Im also responsible for my mothers medicine involving blood pressure, osteoporosis, Spiriva (a capsule she breathes the medicine everyday) & a slew of others & with her being blind I have to keep close watch on her med count in case they havent refilled w/in 30 days of the date last filled on the bottle. My point is, they are so crazy busy that all you see is stacked whites Rx bags behind the counter. I have had only one single issue with one pharmacy tech & shortly after she was gone. Every single one of them have been so caring, patient, & wonderful to me for six years that I believe a huge round of applause. From a much appreciated and loyal customer.Angie S.
If you like to wait a long time for your prescription this is the place to go. I swiched to Walgreens after being told that they had to have two days to refill something that was in store; didnt need to be brought in it was there but still had to wait so long.
Its true, the staff are normally really friendly but the wait is long. The exterior of the store is utter filth!!!
Rude, long wait time, disorganized, unproffessional. We used this pharmacy for a month and had missing perscriptions and many mistakes. Walmart pharmacy is much better.
Great pharmacy! helped us when no one else could in Casa Grande, AZThank You CVS!
Tried to get a prescription filled using my BC/BS insurance. The staff did not know how to run it through.Found out later that this is the pharmacy that Medicaid contracts with in town. Anyone with other insurance stays away. Will never use again
Deceptive price labels. Rude staff.
Thank you for your service in this hard times
Very slow! Walgreens is much better and more professional.
Terribly unprofessional pharmacy. Very unreliable. They lost my Oxycontin prescription.
This pharmacy sucks they never have your stuff ready...
I just spent 30 minutes on hold before I heard a single human voice and by then, I had already driven over there and waited in the drive-thru.
Just because everyone else is ha
Avoid this place.
Slow
Great service.
