Adam bid on a vehicle I had for sale on Ebay. He won the auction. The auction stated where the vehicle was located, and the terms of payment. Within a day of auction close, he was supposed to supply a deposit. Within 7 days of auction close, he was supposed to remit full payment.I sent him a few responses on Ebay asking for details and to keep me updated with the logistics behind his purchase. He informed me he would mail a check when I provided him with my address, and full name. I complied. No check ever showed up.I followed up, as I hadnt heard from him, and he asked a question about some auction place. I responded promptly, and again I received no response of what to expect next. I sent him another text since he didnt answer his phone or Ebay messages, and received nothing in return.Finally, I asked him if he wasnt going to purchase the vehicle or respond to my inquiries about keeping me up to date, if he would go on Ebay and cancel the transaction so I could relist. He informed me that hes in Florida for the week, and unfortunately since Im several states away, he doesnt want to purchase a vehicle sight unseen and have it shipped.So we are a week after he won an auction and full payment is due, and he decides to inform me that hes having issues with the logistics of the purchase, and hes on vacation for another week. The auction was clear on vehicles location and he had information needed before he bid, but Adam was not honest and transparent on his intention to purchase.So now I have to wait for Ebay to run through their course of action before Im able to relist since Adam cant be bothered to log in to Ebay and cancel the transaction on his side to expedite the process for me.Integrity is a must have for large purchases, and Adam has shown me that he has none. I do not recommend doing business with him.

I did not want to write a bad review but I have given them (Adam Garner me Summer too many chances. Bought a 2008 toyota tacoma from m a few months ago. When i purchased it it had the abs light, check engine, and airbag lights were on. The 4 lo didnt work but they took off $350 from the price. Within the first two weeks I had to take it back and they fixed check engine by replacing the catalytic converter and the abs wire that was cut under their good faith warranty. I was thankful for them fixing that at no cost to me. A few weeks later had a bad vibration from the drive shaft. Ended up the u joints and carrier bearing went out. After going back and forth Adam said he would split the cost of repairs with me. Thankful again. But then the problem came when I asked for a reciept for my vehicle maintenance records just to keep up with work done to my truck. Adam told me that he would email it to. That was in Sept. I have contacted him at least 10 times (called his cell, the shop, left messeges with office, left voicemail, sent text and have not received a single reply. I texted Summer about the same thing. She replied to my small hello text. But then when i all about the receipt she stops replying. Why they are going out of their way to not give me a copy of the receipt for work done to MY TRUCK THAT I BOUGHT FROM THEM is unbelievable and not professional. Would not buy another car from and DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM

Poor customer service. I am a soldier deployed in Afghanistan and have been in the process of purchasing a vehicle upon my return. I communicated with Garrett the entire time which was roughly 3-4 days. I was on the phone with my bank, got approved, but when I notified him of the approval so he could fill out the paperwork, he told me someone looked at the vehicle the same day and purchased it despite almost a week of communicating back and forth. I understand business, but he didnt recommend putting the vehicle on hold or stated they would rather have someone in person. If they would have preferred someone in person, then they should have stated that in the beginning oppose to having me waste my time and getting my hopes up. Obviously they dont care about servicing their customers properly or service members. EDIT FOR REPLY: I am not quick to judge as other veterans have also left poor reviews. Like I said, poor customer service. Obviously I am not the only one who experienced this either; several other cases listed where the customers time was wasted. I signed eDocuments with my bank to push the process along, I was told you guys dont have that capability, but digital senders (scanners) and fax machines work better than excuses.

Beware. Sold me a vehicle with plenty of issues, including a manufacturers recall in the pistons. Has a oil pan that needs to be resealed, and more issues. Also, I purchased the best extended warranty plan that apparently covers nothing.

After purchasing the vehicle, it was determined that the warranty was only valid in Canada. Had this information been presented to me during the negotiation process it would have affected the agreed upon price. The integrity and ethical sales practices demonstrated by Cary Imports during my purchasing experience, resulted in the filing a complaint with the North Carolina Better Business Bureau and the State of North Carolina Department of Justice, Office for Consumer Protection. Used Cary Imports to get my Dodge Charger serviced. They were professional and responded timely at a better price than the big box service shops like Jiffy Lube. Cant beat local care.

In order to be objective and thoughtful, I wanted to wait a few months to write a review about Cary Auto Imports after my familys purchase in mid January. We purchased a Jeep Wrangler, and in all fairness this was our first purchase of a Jeep. As Jeep novices, we asked as much about it as we could at time of purchase, and the dealer answered those questions. The AutoCheck seemed OK but those reports are often not the best sources of the vehicles true condition. But what I didnt realize was that there was so much that perhaps could have been disclosed after being told their own mechanic checked the vehicle thoroughly and it passed inspection. We knew new tires were required soon, so that didnt equate into the expenses we had to put in - thats expected and fine.However, I knew soon after purchase we should have taken the car to my own mechanic before buying. Thats my norm but I trusted this dealer for whatever reason. They were friendly and helpful to begin with and responsive. So that unwarranted trust given falls on me.First, when we were driving home we noticed the fuel gauge was not showing full - which was odd because they filled up the tank. They told me that we should drive for a while and see if it fixes itself. It never did. That was our first fix. Then, two days after being home, we saw a leak. It was a broken radiator. That needed a very expensive fix. They told me that no mechanic could have predicted that. Maybe, but there was no offer to say, hey come in and let us have a look to see if we can help. The response was short and cold in nature. Then we noticed that the blower fan became noisier and rattled. That needed a fix. Then we took the top off for the first time and a portion of the frame was broken which explained the leaks during heavy rains. That still needs an expensive fix. Then there was a random beeping in the car that started up. That was troubling because we didnt know what was causing it. Turns out there were no tire pressure sensors on the Jeep so the light would come on and then randomly beep at us. That had to be diagnosed and fixed. The Jeep also needed new brakes. I knew they were a little soft but thought they had more wear. They were at 10-15% left.The list goes on with even more electrical problems, but this was my worst car buying experience and the thousands weve had to put in make me resent the purchase every day we see this car in our driveway.My suggestion to potential buyers is to just be careful and thoroughly check the vehicle by a third party mechanic before purchase. I would not trust this dealer again and will not recommend them to anyone.Im sure they will add a comment to this and say they tried to help but they didnt show any empathy. After buying their seemingly friendly tone changed. Im not interested in hearing from them again. Lesson learned.

1st off, I would highly recommend taking any car from this dealership to a good mechanic/dealership before buying. My wife and I bought a Subaru from here not too long ago and we had an ok experience. They admitted something was off with the car which we were thankful for however their diagnostic was wrong. They said it was wheel bearings and would get it fixed at our convenience. Ok great except they “fixed” it and the car was still making an abnormal noise. So we told them about it and they told us we were welcome to take it to any place of our choice to get it looked at. Yes we had wasted about a week driving a car that still had issues but we were happy they were still willing to work with us on repairs. So we took it to a dealership and they told us it was actually the axle that was bad. So Cary imports offered to fix it again. We were pleased with the repair and it seems to be fixed. But my question is why should I have to take it to the dealership? Shouldn’t they know the 1st time what is wrong with the car?? And now we are running into an issue with the back tail light. The back tail light is out and was out when we brought it back to get fixed the 2nd time. How did this vehicle pass inspection with a bad tail light? It was even on the paperwork I gave Adam to look over. He didn’t offer to put in a new tail light while they were doing the axle and didn’t even mention anything about the tail light being out when I bought the car or when I brought it back to them TWICE to get repaired. Yes they offer cars at low prices but the cost it will take to repair makes that offer negligible. If they have a car on the lot for $13,000 but then you take it to the dealership and they say they’ll need to do $2,000 in repairs, you might as well shop somewhere else. They pride themselves on being the Lowest prices in town because they don’t do anything to the cars before putting them on the lot! So my wife and I go get a new tail light thinking it’s just the light and a simple fix. Even with a brand new bulb it’s still out so now we are for sure it’s a wiring issue. With that being said, we had both ups and downs with the purchase of this vehicle and are still battling the repairs on the car. To summarize, I would definitely take any car you are interested in to the dealership for a diagnostic check before buying the car. And then I would get them to repair EVERYTHING before agreeing to purchase because they WILL NOT go down on the price whatsoever but appear to be able to work with you at least on the repairs. Buyers be cautious when purchasing from here! It seems they pride themselves more on detailing the cars and wanting to get them on the lot ASAP rather than actually take the time to get repairs done that are needed. They offered us a really old Tahoe that had over 200,000 miles on it as a “loaner” car which I thought was rather disrespectful considering the mileage and size of the car as compared to the Subaru we bought. I also thought it was super sketchy they had to order and wait for the wheel bearings to come in but the axle part was already in stock? It’s almost like they knew that needed to be repaired and they ordered it in anticipation the whole time and just didn’t say anything? It’s almost like they know repairs need to be done but they wait to see how badly the client actually cares. The salesperson actually told me “well every used car is going to have something wrong with it” Anyways, this is an honest, not fudged review and hope it will help the next customer out!

These guys are crooks liars and cheats the worst kind of car salesman that you ever hear of they lied to me about fixing my vehicle before I bought it.refused to fix it after I bought it wanted me to pay for it to be fixed and then blocked me so I wasnt able to even call. the salesman and the owner or rude very unprofessional. Now he is posting a comment to my bad review trying to make it seem as if it was the rust that couldnt be hidden so they had to show pictures and be up front about it to be the reason Im posting a bad review. Thats not it at all!!! Im talking about the broken parts and problems I said needed fixed before I bought it!!!! They said the fixed it look at the picture the universal joint is still missing the cap so it can be driven without the really bad vibrations and the sounds that feel like the whole front end is coming apart!!!! Im a mechanic myself and they wanted me to buy parts to fix it and they would put them on!!!!! It was supposed to be fixed before I bought it!!!! I took it apart and found they had removed all the parts to lock in the 4X4 hubs so I couldnt find out it had a problem. So for the people that dont know about the mechanics side that means they rigged it to sell so I couldnt turn on the 4X4 and find out it had big problems!!!!!! I had to replace the wheel bearing and universal joint and all the hub assembly!!!! I paid over $700 in parts if I had to take it to a shop it would have been over $1500!!!! Im not upset about all the other problems Ive discovered!!! Too many to list!!!! But that is what you get with a used car. I was told it was in great mechanical condition that was a bald face lie!!!!! Im sure many people have had a good experience with these people. Not all cars need to be rigged to sell so some customers have got good cars here. But be very careful take the car to a mechanic to have it checked and if they say they will fix a problem you find GET IT IN WRITING!!!!!! I didnt and theres nothing I can do!!!! Please be careful
