Always a really fun time in Barnes & Noble, you could spend hours and hours here exploring the plethora of books offered! Great for gifts or just curious folks, books are just great and so knowledgeable! I used to go all the time as a kid, and it gave a lovely nostalgic hit.Recommend for any book worms or the curious, and go have a day!

Lovely experiences. Im new to the city (and state) and this B&N seems like it will be my new favorite spot. The guy who checked me out today was so nice and he made my day. (To guy: You told me my fit was immaculate and honestly thats the best compliment Ive gotten and my outfit was basic for me, haha. Sorry for being awkward.) I was left alone to browse which I appreciate, but was made aware that help was closeby if needed. Also just really like the setup. Very different from what Im used to but in a good way.

I love this Barnes & Noble. We come in about once a week and will continue to do so for years. Its clean and spacious. The customer service is courteous and friendly. You can tell these people are happy to work here. The vibes are so positive. Thank you!

We love this store. I love that the food and drinks are in the center :) and the massive study tables in the back are great. The real accomplishment is that their childrens section is so clean and organized! Thats a hard thing to manage. Soooo many books 📚 to choose from in this store. We love getting gifts here too for our bookish friends.

While a woman was sitting safe from all and comfortable on an isolated deck, reading a book, she was told she must vacate her position and sit in a chair close to other people. Where she was sitting was out of the way.I no longer feel Barnes & Nobles is interested in education. Just money.

Large assortment and a fair number of books on sale. Staff person was a little hard to find when I needed help. Also, the subcategories that the books are alphabetized by author (e.g., subs within Fiction) arent designated which makes it hard to find a specific author.

Barnes and Noble in Cary (near Cary Towne Center) is a great resource whether youre young or old. My kids and wife love coming here, just to browse books, get a coffee, check out some music and movies, or peruse geeky stuff like board games or collectables. They had a wide variety of collectables in their newly redesigned section for nerdy / geeky stuff.Definitely suggest coming here if you want a good coffee and a great book to read.

Very nice place to browse for that next book to read. Its got an amazing atmosphere and the incredible scent of new printed books. Its definitely a go if youre not sure what you want to read next.

I like this location because it still has a decently stocked music department of cds, vinyl, DVD and blue ray. They are also about the only local place I can find the Masters Journal, the annually produced guide to the Masters golf tournament. Lastly, the staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable of any any inquiries I have to make.

Small, but decent selection of science fiction books. The only bad thing was that I was attacked by mosquitoes in the board game section.

Largest store I have seen but couldnt find what I was looking for at the time. Staff was friendly.

Sent my boyfriend here today to purchase 3 nook e-readers for the kids. He told the lady helping him that he needed 3 Nook readers, and she repeated him as if she was questioning his choice when he told her he needed 3. She then tells him that she can only give him 1. Thinking it may be a store policy or something..he purchased anyway and called to ask for the store manager after he left to ask if there was a policy.It sounded like the same lady that checked him out answered the phone saying she was a manager, and stating the same thing.Anyway, he then drives 10 minutes to CrabTree Mall’s Barnes and Noble to purchase the other 2 Nook readers, and the customer service there was EXTREMELY nice!!!So nice that they mistakenly pulled out 3 to give him, but we only needed just the 2.It seems to me that the lady from the first store made personal judgements and never once said it’s a policy or something. She made us feel like it may have been another case of being black, as if his appearance and buying 3 at the same time is a shock!

Don’t waste your time and BUY ONLINE at Amazon. Anyway very poor service. Went online to make sure a book was in stock and it was at the store I was at. The speaker then came on announcing the store was closing in 15 minutes (I work until 7, the store closes at 8) and if you need help finding a book, find someone to help you. I never like to do that, but I was looking for a while and I finally asked a guy. He kept backing away from me then said “gotta keep the social distance” in a unfriendly way, which I understand I guess, although ironically you’re closer to the person behind the counter when buying a book. That already put me on edge. Then I had to tell him the book title out loud, which I didn’t want to do. He then, I guess went looking for it and then with around 5-6 minutes before the store closed he just says from afar “sorry couldn’t find it” then starts walking away. I said “okay but it says it’s here in stock”. Just totally ignored me and keeps walking away. The stores about to close so I just have to accept that. The lady at they counter was very nice though, when I purchased the other book I had. Anyway the rudeness of this guy was vile. How can you hire someone to work at a bookstore, who’s job is to help you find a book, but they’re super rude, unfriendly, and completely waste your time when you ask them to help you find a book? And to just completely ignore you after saying they couldn’t find it when it says online it’s here. What is he getting paid for? To walk around and be an absolute scum to customers? Pretty disgusting. Soured my mood severely enough to make me write the first review I’ve ever written in my life. Ill never go here again that’s for sure, unless the employee is dealt with. I also recommend people to buy on amazon instead of going here and asking an employee to do his job and for him to just embarrass you, waste your time, and be completely distasteful. I know this sounds like an overreaction to the average person reading this, but if one knew the book I was trying to get, and for me to have to say it out loud for everyone else to hear, one would understand. One might think I shouldn’t let one bad employee ruin it for me but this guy was so, so disgraceful, I have no idea how they could hire him. BUY ONLINE at amazon, not Barnes and Noble.

I don’t understand how this is a “flagship” store. They have a small magazine selection and didn’t even have some of Stephen King’s most popular books. I also got unfriendly service from a Cathy when I called in to ask if they have Tattoo Life magazine. Seemed like she got frustrated after not being able to understand the word ‘tattoo’. I spoke louder after the 4th time repeating myself. When she was done checking their inventory I said “Thank you, bye”, but she just hung up.

I enjoyed the calm and pleasant atmosphere of this Barnes and Noble. The staff was exceptional - helping us find a book that wasnt easy to find, giving great book recommendations for age appropriate books and providing a personal review of a book I was considering. Well done!

Barns and Noble was pleasant. We have not been here since before Covid. So good to finally have the lasagna and salad!!!!

They have taken social distancing measures to an extreme. My 3 kids and I went to look at books and were not allowed to sit on the carpet or anywhere but the tables at the cafe, which only sat two. And they only had a couple of tables out in the first place. They have made a beautiful, spacious place inaccessible for their customers. This is so sad.

I went on 11/14/20 around 1:40pm and Angie at the Starbucks helped my sister, son and I out. Despite the amount of people she had the serve BY HERSELF, she was so fast and so kind! I couldn’t tip her because I didnt have cash but she most definitely deserves a high five. Toast to you Angie, you’re awesome.

I cant help but fee the massive space in the back could be actually used. Other than that this is a great Barnes and Noble with a good layout, I really like the coffee show right in the center, its pretty neat, and the super friendly and helpful staff.

Always love the selection and employees are always nice a great way to meet fellow manga and anime fans and I and my friend Thomas even got asked for recommendations on good series for a novice it was really unexpected out of the blue 🙂 cause Im super old school, picky, and obscure.

You are a book store, not a health facility. Why you provided me a health related advice by requesting I wear a face covering? Do you realize that a face mask reduces the amount of oxygen that gets into my body and can be potentially harmful? In extreme case lack of oxygen leads to death. If you care so much about safety of your customers then why you dont close the store? Last time I checked getting a book is non essential activity. Nobody will get infected if you close your physical store. Why youre not doing it? Is money worth more than risking a persons life?

Despite practicing social distancing while shopping for music, patrons were told that masks are required. Following this, patrons were followed to the cafe and told masks were required in the cafe. Patrons were told they could not use open tables in cafe and that police would be called for trespassing. Other cafe users were not required to wear masks and were actively using their laptops. When asked to speak to a manager, employee said her republican manager said masks were required. Employee stated that Cary kids are trash and that parents of Cary kids dont know how to raise their kids. Oh, forgot to mention the patron who was being harassed was wearing a Keep America Great shirt and were not from Cary. Evidently B&N is not in favor of a great America (or a great Cary it seems). If Barnes and Noble doesnt want America to be great- what is it they are in favor of?

Helpful staff, inviting atmosphere, pretty good selection(to be fair almost all book stores dont have a large enough scifi/fantasy section for me). Picked up 3 nee releases.

Pretty much like any barns and Noble only difficult to get in and out of the parking lot. Not much they can do about that where it is situated.

Very large selection of magazines, books, educational toys, etc. has a cool Starbucks right in the middle of the store and a large section for collectibles and board games.

The more I go in there the more disappointed I get. Their music and movie section keeps getting smaller and smaller. The variety of books is pretty bad. The only place I see growing is their funko/ toy section. I tried to get a seat to drink a coffee but no one moved. I waited around 1 1/2 hours and no seats were available. The only reason I went in was because I had a gift card but I had a hard time finding something to buy. Not going back again.

Always like Barnes and Noble in Cary, NC. Friendly, and they leave alone so you can explore. Only approach you if you really look like you are lost.

The design in the inside is different then most Barnes & Noble stores Ive been to. Its not bad, but it feels like a carousel when your looking for a particular section. Excellent store! Had the books I was looking for! Also, there seems to be a lot of empty space in areas in the store where there could be more.

A favorite place of mine for years. Theyve had to adapt over the years, adding coffee, expanding the kids section to be so very inviting and encompassing educational tools and toys, and extending their sit here and enjoy books idea to a library-like tables and chairs meeting place or homework room. I was impressed with the selection, organization, adaptability, and creativity that shows when visiting this store.

Barnes & Noble is one of my favorite stores if all time. It is now open until 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. It is well set up for social distancing, especially for a book store.

Great place. In this age of the kindle this is one place we still love to go to. There is something about the smell and feel of a hardcover book. The cafe is great too. Wonderful selection of childrens books to choose from.

My daughter is the one who actually went there. She said the staff was helpful and friendly When she asked for help finding several books.

Ive been going to this location of Barnes and Noble for 15+ years. Its a good size and kept clean. The store has a large area for local school functions, author meets, presentations, kids activities, etc. Ive never had a single bad experience with staff. Pretty decent stop for book lovers!

I literally studied for my bachelors degree in this place for almost all 4 yrs. Starbucks lounge chairs wifi bathroom and great people who work there. Very kind and always made some good read suggestions . I still go here most weekends with my son. Its our way to bond, have a cookie, get some coffee read a book together ❤
