I pulled up to get some work done. The mechanic is on the phone and not paying any mind to me. His lifts were empty and had no customers. I definitely do not recommend this place. Very unprofessional. He just kept talking on the phone. I understand now why his place was empty and no customers. Wow! Even his response is unbelievable! Definitely can tell what kind of guy this is. Good luck to whoever deals with him

Just left a mechanic having ALL codes read and receiving a quote. Called this place to get pricing for what I need to have done. Chad advised they are not the cheapest first of all. He also went on to say that ALL other shops diagnose cars wrong when it comes to sensor replacement. Needless to say herNEVER answered my question on how much do THEY charge to FIX a SPECIFIC issue. Quite naturally whatever shop will do the repair will also do a diagnostic prior to starting a repair job, especially if they intend to warranty it. Anyway, called to have a question answered, what I got was bring it in first, smh. Um no and have a nice day sir. Lost a potential customer today.

I went in to my mechanic and chad was very helpful and very honest. I was missing screws off a part in my car with 17,000 miles on it. He showed me the screws and asked me if I had all my previous oil changes at one place. So now I’m going back to the other business to get my screws that they took off and did not put back on, so I can have Chad put them back on for me. It’s tough to find a good, honest mechanic around here. After 10 years here, I’ve finely found one at my mechanic.

Had a great experience with this company, they were honest with the diagnostics on my vehicle and did not try to sell me things I did not need. They recommended services that would improve the operations and possibly prevent issues further down the road, which I appreciate. I will be going back to have services done soon! I have been taking my cars to My Mechanic since 2002; and even though I’ve long since moved clear across town, I STILL take my cars to My Mechanic and nowhere else.Chad and his crew are knowledgeable, hard-working, professional, and friendly. These guys are fair and honest. I had my 2006 dodge charger rt towed here after it broke down. They said the fuel pump went out. they replaced the fuel pump and it ran great. Honest mechanics, fair prices. Great place to take your car I would highly recommend them.

WARNING...!WARNING....!WARNING!Worst mechanic ever! Not only this guy is a crook. I went to his shop to pick up my truck and supposedly he fixed it, but when I started to drive back the truck stopped out of nowhere! It almost got me killed. When I went to check on my truck to see what happened, nothing got done! There was no spar-plug or oil change, the fuses never were replaced and an addition to that my truck almost got on fire. He was paid over $700 for his services plus I had to pay $400 to tow it back to my house. He also makes YouTube videos (that dont help at all) for publicity to make money off of the less fortunate. Please do not trust him for the sake of your vehicle and wallet!

My Mechanic knows the value of my car. More than the resale value, trade-in value, or KBB value but how dependable it needs to be to get me to work each morning, how sturdy it needs to be for when I go out of town to visit family, and how trustworthy it needs to be for taking my children to school everyday. I know it can be exceedingly frustrating when a car doesnt work as expected but when I get my car back from Chad, its value has been returned!

My jeep almost died on me on the way to work the other day. I happened to find this gem of a repair shop because it is in between work and home. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They diagnosed my problem (major engine malfunction) and fixed it very quickly. Its been about a week and my jeep is running better than ever. I finally found a mechanic that I trust to work on all of my vehicles.

My car had a starter that was going bad. I called first thing on a Monday morning and they were able to get me in that same day. The starter had been replaced over the summer by another shop so I was concerned about why. The mechanics found the issue and had it fixed as well. In and out within 8 hours, the same day I called. Very friendly and easy to talk to. Answered all my questions. Definitely going back but it sure looks as if I found a new mechanic!

I know a little about cars, but since I don’t have a garage there are some things I can’t do outside my apartment. I took my car here on a recommendation from “Just Tires,” down the street in Cary. First they told me my transmission fluid looked dirty and should be change. What they didn’t know is that I had just changed the transmission fluid two days ago. Then they quoted me for a repair at $900. I called the dealer and their price for the same exact repair was $450. It’s really sad when the dealer can undersell you by almost $500. Then they charged me $90 for “diagnosing” my problem, even though I told them what was wrong with it when I took it. Save yourself the headache and the unnecessary money drain. I’m still searching for a good mechanic in the Triangle but I know My Mechanic will never touch my car again. I’d rather be stranded on the road.

I found this to not be the shop for me. Looking for an honest estimate for services requested. This is not what I received. I paid $108 and received nothing! Not even an oil change! I was given a $3500 estimate for services that were not required nor did I ask for the entire car to be looked at! Another shop told me, I wish I could charge you to fix something, but nothings wrong with your vehicle! Just Drive it! Really unfortunate and a waste of time and money.

Took my car to 4 other places for some very loud road noise...they all offered to replace both shocks, brakes, tires, bearings, etc.. $1500 or so in repairs. Brought it to My Mechanic and they noted the tires, tied up loose underpinning, tightened things up and Im good to go!...first honest experience Ive ever had at a shop.

Will never go back again....Needed a wire fixed in the gear shift (stuck in park). Cost was $300, no part was needed to order. If that wasnt bad enough, went to pick up the car, paid for it, went to drive home, stuck in park! Guy came out with the screwdriver tinkered with it then stripped the gears about 8 times and said we were good to go. 1 wk later............car stuck in park again!

I went to My Mechanic on Chapel Hill rd. Received the worse customer service ever. The mechanic treated me like a thief when I went outside to get the card to pay.I was in the process of moving my car close to door (he purposely parked the car far from the door. Every place I have been to parks car in front of door).He says, You have to pay I replied, I need to get my card and move car closer (mind you its raining)This man went as far as giving me a bogus reason, saying I cant park my car in the spot I wanted because it would get towed, and hes trying to help me. All the while blocking me. (This back & forth went on for about 3 minutes)It takes less than a minute to slide card and give me a receipt. You dont treat customers like that.I was at Murrays once, and saw a man bring his payment back because he left his wallet.I have walked to car before to get my card while at Murrays, and other places, nobody followed me or acted in this manner.I would not recommend a place that treats customers like thieves. He shouldbe apologized, but didnt.You dont make someone walk on the rain on the far side of lot to get their car, then accuse them of trying to not pay

Update: I was fired because this mechanic reported my negative review to my company. Beware!When I called, this mechanic, Chad, sounded good. He said he could get my car diagnosed by this afternoon, that at max it would cost $99, and I could leave with the info and fix it myself. So I immediately drove up to drop my car off.After looking at my car, the mechanic called a lieutenant at the DMV or the licensing office where he gets his permits. This is based on what she told me. She then proceeded to emotionally harass me. She aggressively told me that if I drove on that car, then I would kill myself, another person, or even a child. Could you handle killing a child? Could you live with yourself?! She told me that I needed to let them fix it and that they would work with me on the price if I couldnt afford it. When I said that we will see, she said well your not even supposed to be driving a car with bad tags and we can sue you if you get into any form of accident because you came in and we told you that it was unsafe to drive. The brakes were touchy, but were working fine when I drove it into the shop.That was my first warning that I should have never brought my car in. Then he came out and gave me my keys, told me that I shouldnt drive it and said that all my brake lines are rusted. He did not say exploded or ripped so it doesnt explain why my brake fluid is leaking. He gave me my keys said I could go and smirked. I took my keys and walked out just as two cop cars pulled up. Apparently, he called the cops to report me for bad tags and being unsafe to drive. He told them he could fix this by Monday but he told me that it would be hard and take a long time. This was so shady that EVEN THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER, THE CAB DRIVER, and the other mechanic TOLD ME NOT TO PAY HIM! After the tow truck driver hopped into my car and drove it, he thought the mechanic was Ridiculous!!I had my car towed to another mechanic across the city, that my family trusts but is more expensive. He is currently looking at my car to verify Chads diagnosis. He did say that as mechanics they have a waiver that releases them of any liability and that what he did was unprofessional and uncalled for in the eyes of other mechanics and a bit crazy if he said so himselfDO NOT GO HERE. They try to manipulate you and try to use the cops and the DMV to force you to use their service.Also after further research of the other reviewers I have noticed that some are related to my mechanic or are connected to them through business rather than being a genuine customer. But do the research yourself before you go here!!!!!

I have been going to Chad since moving to the area in 2001 and find him to be one of the most honest businessmen I have ever dealt with. Chad will tell you the truth about your car NOT what you want to hear. He will do the work that is NEEDED to be safe and will tell you what you both need to watch for and when it will likely be necessary to be fixed.My most recent experience was with my new old 2006 Mercedes E320 CDI with 74000 miles. Chad found many hidden problems which I was completely unaware of. The repairs were definitely costly being Merc. but thousands less than if a dealer did it.
