We found the folks at Mr. transmission super friendly and helpful. They diagnosed the source of the engine light problem and changed the appropriate sensors. They completed the oil & filter change, checked out our AC and made sure it was in good working order and checked over the whole van to be sure it was ready for an extended trip coming up. We are very pleased with their attitude, quality of service and the work they completed on our van. They are definitely going to be on “fast-dial“ for both of our vehicles! I had a wonderful experience at Mr Transmission Miles Cary yesterday. My son is leaving for college tomorrow so of course his cars check engine light came on yesterday indicating a possible transmission issue! So I rushed the car over to Me Transmission right away (with no appointment!), And they were kind enough to fit me in same day to give the car a THOROUGH diagnostic test. Steve checked EVERYTHING so carefully, drove it, and checked things over again before thankfully giving the car a clean bill of health. Steve took care to explain everything to me and it was clear that he cared about making sure my son would be safe on his 3 hour drive! I highly highly highly recommend this business and will be bringing all of my vehicles here for all of our routine maintenance!

Brought my old Ford F-150 in because it was making a transmission or drive train noise. The determined it was the rear differential. They went through the options for repair and I decided on a second hand part. When they got the differential they opened it up and checked out it’s condition. The part was even warranted for 12 month because of the parts vender they used. Every thing is back to normal with my pickup.

I like a single shop working on my vehicles. The owners and mechanics get to know you and your equipment. You have a single point of contact if something goes wrong. A single point of record. This is a great shop!!! Been bringing my 17 year old Acura here and they have saved me time and money. They are also one of the only places to get motorcycle inspections done. Add in Woodys bar across the street and it’s a great situation.

I recently used Mr. Transmission for service on a 2012 Honda Accord for transmission problems that sprung up out of nowhere.Communication was excellent. It certainly could have been extremely easy to take advantage of the circumstances to indicate deeper troubling issues that would have been very costly. My experience was they were thorough and completely honest with my needed services. This saved me significantly as a result. Turnaround was prompt and service costs were reasonable and fair. Everybody at this shop was nice and professional.They went above and beyond to help me out fixing my car. The tech checked out my car and quickly diagnosed it and the owner found the parts. The part was expensive but they found another cheaper way to fix the same issue. Also installed my new suspension as well. Cold Hard LessonI brought my sons 02 Mitsubishi to Mr. Transmission in Cary to have the transmission rebuilt. Steven said he could rebuild it for between $2,400 and $3,400. After taking it apart he said he could not get the parts to rebuild it and that it will be $970 to get it back... unfixed! When I told him I didnt think that was fair he told me that I have to face the cold hard facts ( yes he used those exact words) I was forced to either pay nearly $1,000 to get back the broken car or sign over the title. Now my son has no car to get back and forth to college and we learned a cold hard lesson about Mr. Transmission.

I explained my issue to Office Mgr, Heather. Tom, the service guy, checked and found the issue. He told Heather, hed stay if they could get the part...Im in my 70s and they were concerned Id have issues in rush hour traffic driving home. I usually go to this place for oil change. I take my own oil and filter and they charge about $25. Reasonable and I was happy. This time, I dont know what has changed but they charged me almost double the price. Its the same car and I got my own oil and filter. Pretty disappointing. Definitely not going back and I dont recommend this shop.

I will just call it divine intervention! I just moved to the Raleigh area and did not have any knowledge of any shops in the area, had an issue with my vehicle and was actually on my way to another shop but I thank God in heaven that i stopped here first. Heather is very nice and confident in what her guys can do, after a brief but knowledgeable conversation I decided to allow Milex do the work on my vehicle and i have to say I am with delighted to have a shop that i feel is trustworthy for my repair needs.

My cousin Cynthia referred me here after I was in town visiting and the fuel pump regulator went out. This place has A1 service and even better customer service experience. They go above and beyond to make sure that you know everything what’s going on with your vehicle.

Three things you look for in a vehicle repair & diagnostic shop: Honesty, Quality of Work and Customer Service. Mr. Transmission Milex of Cary goes above and beyond in all those categories. I dont give reviews often, but this is more than deserving - I recommend this place to anyone reading this review. I have this location service two of my vehicles, and can rely on the honest opinion of the staff, Ive never felt that anywhere before. Do yourself a favor, stop scrolling through google and go here!

Very friendly staff and good communication. However, they failed to resolve the problem with my transmission. They did repair two sensors on the engine related to the cam shaft and crankshaft. But I had already replaced the crankshaft sensor prior to bringing my car here and told them about it. Yet, they replaced it again and charged me $60 for the part (its $17 at NAPA). They kept my car for nearly a week and never resolved the transmission problem, yet stuck me with a bill for over $200. They simply said to take the car to the Ford dealership and have the transmission reprogrammed. It doesnt really make sense that the transmission computer program would need to be reprogrammed. The transmission was working fine for well over a year. I called around a few other shops in the area and most dont work on the Ford Focus/Fiesta powershift transmission, they know better. This shop was glad to take a look, keep my car for 6 days, charge me for some repairs I likely didnt need, and send me on my way.

Steve talked through multiple options and discussed his diagnostic options with me. We settled on a plan and the process ended up being cheaper and simpler than he forecasted. I am new to the area and they have earned my business. Thanks so much.

You have to give a star to write a review..Do not go to this shop!!!! They told us we needed a new transmission... we actually didn’t.. took it to a dealership and it was an ignition coil! We showed reports PROVING they were wrong! The owner actually tried saying the dealership has no idea how to work on these issues! SAVE YOURSELF.. do not step foot here!

Great customer service. It’s very obvious they care about their customers. Got some basic service done but as I was expecting, they recommended I need a couple new tires, which I knew I needed. They didn’t try and sell me on the most expensive tire either. They took the time to give me some options and gave me a great recommendation which ended up being a lower priced tire.Was also very impressed with their waiting lounge. Very clean and comfortable, I didn’t feel like I was waiting in a service shop.Highly recommended! We’ll be coming back

Giving 5 Stars due to Mr. Milex being very professional, informative, and very prompt with fixing/ installing a new transmission on my truck. He shopped around and found a good deal on a transmission and followed up with me about the price and time it would take to install it. The price was a little more than I had hoped to get, but like I was taught, you get what you pay for, and Im glad I decided to go ahead with the install. Upon completion he promptly called me to tell me that the work was done. After a trip to Florida the truck drove great and will return to Mr.Milex for a check up after the holidays. With a 3 year warranty and professional service, I am very satisfied with choosing Mr.Milex. Highly recommend!!

Needed same-day service and I was in and out in a few hours. When I waited, Heather updated me about the progress a mechanic was making on my car (loved this). When there was a tricky solution to my diagnosis, she took me back to meet the mechanic and he explained the part, potential problem, and solution in terms I understood. They dont want you to spend money you dont need to on extraneous services or parts. They give you all of the information and enable you to make your own informed decisions. I went in on Monday with transmission issues and Mr Steve was very helpful when I dropped my car off. He took my daughter and I to the rental place and waited for us to get a car. Later that day he called me and told me what was wrong with my car and kept me updated every step of the way. My car was done on Wednesday, a day early. I am very pleased with Mr Transmission service and would recommend this shop to everyone for their car needs.

Im new to the area and wasnt sure where to take my car when my brake light went out. No one in town would see me until next week. Did a very good job. Windshield was replaced on 3/26/2012. Current no leaks. Did come out late for the appointment. Would recommend, dont hesitate if they are still in the windshield repair business.Update 2020: I still have this car with 210,000 miles on it and the windshield is still good. Still no leaks to this day and no sign of defects from the install.Update 2018: windshield is still good to this day. No leaks to this day.

I called Mr. Transmission to get their opinion re: whether it was worth getting my yellowedheadlights on my 2002 Lexus 430SC replaced. They researched their vendors for after-market parts deals, but could not find any sufficiently reliable for my car. They did quote me the cost for purchasing and installing OEM parts...and agreed with me that it really wasnt worth the expense. Soooo honest and professional!

I don’t recall the name of the man I spoke with, but he was very nice and told me that I actually didn’t need one of the services I’d asked for. Very helpful and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need - plus, they took care of my car right away so I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I will be back again the next time I need service!

Highly recommend! It’s hard to know where to take your car that you can trust to do a great job and not over charge you for services that you do not need. On a recommendation, I took my car here for brakes and preventative maintenance upon reaching 100k miles. I received thorough information about what services that I needed now vs the things I could wait on. Everyone that I spoke with was curtious and professional, the work was completed within the time that I expected, my car was as clean as I had left it, and it has been running much more smoothly than before. I will definitely return for all future auto maintenance and repair needs.

Steve is awesome and does provide more expertise than your normal mechanic. They replaced an engine AND turbo in a 2011 Acura RDX flawlessly. They kept me informed all the issues and solutions and worked with me to get the best price I could get. An excellence experience. Called in the morning to try and get my transmison serviced. I got there about 45 mins later. They took my car in and within 50 mins it was done.
