Highly recommend coming here. Rainy day - 30 minutes til closing and they took me immediately without a single problem. The young mechanic was extremely thorough and ensured everything was completely correctly. Not only that but he resolved an issue that my main mechanic could not as they didnt know how. Job was completed in 30 minutes and didnt feel rushed at all. The owner was also extremely polite and professional. He had absolutely no issues taking not only myself but also many other walk ins while I was there even so close to closing time. I also appreciated the fact that he handed me my receipt with both hands and thanked me multiple times for my business. Seems like a small thing but as a customer - I really appreciated it and I felt valued. Highly recommend!

I would give Crossroads Auto Service a constellation if I could.!!I bough a 2013 Honda Odyssey, which needed rear bakes.He gave me a very good price for upgraded pads.I asked him if the rotors needed to be turned. He said, The pads will seat themselves, the rotors look pretty good. Almost ANY brake place would have turned them and put on another $200.00. But Alex is as honest as the day is long.Would definitely use him again !!

After being turned away by other auto service stations Crossroads Auto Service came through for me very quickly so I could get my vehicle back on the road. This was my second time getting work done there and I highly recommend them.

I went to this place to change sets of 4 tires on my Ford Edge 2015, next day I find out one of wheel hub cap missing, tire pressure sensor light checks on read as 0 air, the car start shaking on the highway, I went back to them, Alex ask me to drop off my car I told him I have work so he offered for me a loaner car Dodge Grand Caravan year 1998 very dirty inside and broken seats, has a brake problems power steering making loud noise not safe at all cannot pass the inspection and this is illegal by the law. When I get back from my work I find they did not fix my car they said it’s a rotter problem I ask what about the light on they said it’s not working need to change the tire pressure sensor, I did not have this problem on my car before they change tiers moreover they want charge me $89 for diagnostic and put a gas in a garbage loaner car I drive only 8 miles !! I told Alex and I explained my situation that my car wasn’t shaking before you change the tires no light check on at all, finally before I leave to the Ford dealership, Alex starts shouting on me very load big mouth with bad language close up to me to the point his body touched my body try to struck me, yelling in my face his stinky mouth breath disgusting 🤢🤮 he is a psycho guy crazy his face can tell. I tried to call police when I saw myself in this situation, when he sees I’m calling 911 Alex back up and went back to the store, one of his employee tried to calm him down and ask me to end 911 call saying please don’t do it please just take your car and leave but I was shocked look at the guy and he continue saying please just go Alex always have this face, the employee seems to me is not happy working There I dont recommend this repair shop to anyone for your safety stay away from this repair shop. Do not waste your time and money. I would give Zero star. Alex is a psycho guy. Needs mental health help.

I was visiting from out of town when my car went down I do have a Jaguar and the nearest dealership was hours away so I Google the nearest auto repair shop where I was at a course several pop up but this one pop out because I was a a crossroads on who I can trust with my car Danny is whom I talk to and he made me feel I can trust hi. Leaving my car in his hands he kept me informed about everything and even sent me a video on what they found wrong. There prices are reasonably and I really mean what I say dont let the gas pumps fool you but I would recommend this facility for any repairs on any vehicle and if I live in the state of NC this would be my main mechanic shopThank You. My third time coming hereService was pretty good until they made a mistake and did not fix the problem because they messed up and changed the wrong cylinder and wanted me to pay for there mistake. I dropped the car off at 9 am they called me at 2:40 and said it was ready but still misfiring So I drove it like he said and brung it back up there, it turns out they changed the wrong cylinder and want me to pay for it now my car is on the side of the road keep in mind I drove it up there just bad business. Came here in a pinch, took care of me quick...however, told me one price and then jacked it up when I came to pick up my car.An update to this post...I had these tires for TWO weeks, TWO...they unfortunately put tires from 1999 on my car, YES 1999. I am posting photos of the tires they put on my car. I drove these for a couple of weeks, felt weird...so I took it to my local shop in Smithfield and this was the problem, I called Alex the service manager and was given a hard time. My husband and I took the tires back to him the next day, still Alex had an attitude and the owner happened to be on site, she did give us SOME money back, but still, they tried to deny any wrongdoing and it was such a run around. I would NOT go here. My husband had to explain to him the danger they had put in by putting these tires on my car. It was BANANAS! They DID NOT SEEM to care.After the leaving the owner called me to tell me something else their tech noticed on my car...why not tell me that the day you put bad, old tires on my car??? No thanks, Im good now with my new tires from my hometown shop that I trust.The worst tire was on the back right...I never hit a pot hole or anything, I was the only one driving the car. You argued with my husband about the tires...I heard that myself. You did NOT want to take responsibility. The tires were from 1999 - that was confirmed by another tire shop, that we trust and have used for years.I just think customers should be aware of the products you provide. You had also given me one price and then when I picked the car up you had raised the price. Its not a good fit at all.

Called to get a price on the Oil change. Gave them year, make, and model of vehicle and they told me one price. After service, they charge me $45 more than the quoted price. Such a joke. Will never use them again.

Been taking my truck here for years to get inspected. I have an older truck that I do all my own maintenance on and keep it in perfect working order. This shop is great and they know I keep my truck up to safety spec. Every time I go its in and out quickly.

Went in for a pre purchase inspection. They did a great job and showed me why I shouldnt buy the car! Probably saved me about $2000!

I used the Crossroads Service website to schedule a State Inspection appointment this week. They replied promptly via email and gave me the exact day & time I needed. I arrived on time and they took my car in without delay. Ive brought our various cars there before and Ive always found the owner and techs to be very nice & polite & experienced & knowledgeable. Our cars are all over 6 years old, so obviously various parts and systems are at various stages of wear (similar to many other cars out there!). When Crossroads reported excessively worn pads (brakes), tires and/or alignment, wiper blades, bad bulbs, lil fluid leaks underneath, etc, I have found they were correct and reasonable every time. Car repairs are never free, but its cheaper than buying a new car. Im quite certain that Alex wants any car leaving his shop to be safe enough for his own family too. I trust these guys with our cars and safety.

I dropped my car off for repair. I left the premises in the loaner they provided while they were fixing my vehicle, I was updated throughout the day on the vehicle status. I appreciate the thoroughness and will use again in the future. Excellent job, kind and courteous employees, thank you!

First of all, I was charged more than they quoted on the phone. The mechanic and Alex said that they never would do the work so cheaply. I ended up having to call the Police when Alex snatched my keys and I was unable to leave because I refused to pay their higher charges. They changed their story for the police and charged me my quoted rate but added more money to a disposal fee and shop supplies.When I said that I would never come back again, Alex said that he did not want me to ever come back again. He was as rude as could be. (Note the good review from another Alex.?!) That greasy dirty place did not even protect my car with floor mats or seat covers. I was skeptical by the dirty looks of the place but tried them anyway because of their reasonable quote for the work. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!

Heres my story: I was leaving work on a Saturday night. My car cut off three times due to engine issues. The first two stops were made on a random street and parking lot. I was praying the entire time while trying to make it home. The third stop was his station. Usually their closed but the owner was inside. Alex & Chris took really good care of me! I truly believe God brought me to his shop. The cost was very affordable and my car is running fine. Chris explained to me what was needed to have a safe running car. I truly appreciate them taking care of me especially at night on a Saturday. I will definitely refer to others and come back for any of my car repair concerns.

Took a truck in for a pre-buy inspection and was definitely impressed with the honesty and professionalism that they gave me. Coming in from out of town on no notice, they took the vehicle in, examined it, and gave a forthright opinion. All ended well as I wound up purchasing the vehicle - would recommend and go back if needed.

Had my vehicle fixed there a few days ago. They were fast, courteous and offered a great price. The shop is very clean and everyone there is very capable. I am very happy with their service and would highly recommend them.

I called made an appointment. Got there filled out an information form. Asked if they could look at my car for its air condition. A mechanic pulled into a bay popped the hood, looked and saw my belt was missing. Gave me a quote of $270.00. I knew that was really high to change a belt on my car. Ive done it. Its super easy. you just pull back the tension wheel and the belt comes right off. I said I didnt want the work done at this point. Then I was told I owed them $110.00 for looking at the car. I said no way. They called the police on me. The police officer said it was the second time he had been there. The other time they did it to a guy over a headlight. The police couldnt get the car to me because it was a civil issue. These guys are pure crooks! At no time, with all the opportunities, was I told there was any fee involved with looking at the car. I had to pay!

The staff was pleasant, answered all of my questions, and had my car ready to get back on the road in a very timely manner.I will certainly visit Crossroads again for my auto service needs going forward!

I will never return to this establishment again and I will tell all of my friends and family to steer clear. I went there on Friday June 7th because they had an advertised brake special for $95. I go in and say I need my brakes done because theyre grinding. The guy takes my information and the keys to my truck advises me that itll be about 2 hours but they can provide a loaner car for me. I say great and then it goes downhill from there. After they inspect the brakes Im advised that I need a rotor and a caliper on one side I say no thanks and ask how much for just the brake pads and then Im told that it will be $190. I ask about the special and at that time Im told that the special price is per wheel. So I ask for my vehicle back and I walk out the door to wait. Im approached again and advised that its going to be a $55 charge for them looking at my brakes which was never mentioned before. The guy then says he doesnt want me to go away frustrated so can we agree on a reasonable price. After me deciding that I didnt want to have to get the police involved to get my truck back we somewhat agree on a price of $165 for just brake pads. Never again will I go to this establishment for any service or gas!!!! I wish I could give it zero stars!!

Fast safety inspections

- [x] I knew that my 2010 Chevy Equinox had broken timing chain guides and would need a timing chain kit installed. I finally found good reviews for Crossroads Auto Service on Walnut Street (the Exxon Station). They gave me a quick “ballpark” estimate of around $1,000. This was in line with what I found for estimates online. So I decided to let them do the job. A few days later they called me to tell me that the job was up to $2,200, saying that they needed a more expensive kit because there was damage inside the engine. The call was to inform me - not to ask for authorization for the increase. When they called to tell me the job was finished, they told me the final amount was $2,500! I asked for, and got, an itemized statement. I saw that they had charged me $633.53 for the timing chain kit they installed. I know that they need to mark up their prices over what I might pay at OReilly Auto Parts to stay in business, and found that this is generally 30% to 50% and sometimes even 100% at some shops. So I went online to find out what O’Reilly Auto Parts price was to see what Crossroads’ markup was. To my surprise, their markup on the kit they used was 144%! So I went through all the itemized parts and found markups of from 75% (on an oil filter) to 171% (on a flange gasket)! All I had authorized before the work was done was the “around $1,000” to install a timing chain kit. I took documentation to the shop and talked to an apparently confused customer service attendant. He called up my itemized bill on his computer in an apparent attempt to “correct” my calculations. I told him not to bother because I was leaving copies of my documentation and he could check after I left. It’s been over a week now and I haven’t heard a response to my complaint. PLEASE BEWARE!

Im from Long Island, New York. Im used to working with mechanics that take care of my car - full service. Like when they find something that needs to be done, and I didnt tell them to do it, they contact me, explain the problem and get my authorization to fix the problem -- preventative maintenance if you will. CrossRoadsExxon is the best!! I trust them and their rates are good; and they have a loaner car if theyll be working on your car for a day. Quick appointments; great service; trustworthy and reliable!! You cant go wrong.....

After firing the car service manager last year, they have vastly improved their customer service. They are all very cordial and polite now. I guess when you fix the top, it set the tone for the rest of the place. I live somewhat close by, and they have taken me home and picked me up when a repair was going to last a few hours or the car needed to stay overnight. I have a 20 yr old car, but they treat me the same as if I have a new Mercedes. As a single woman, it is extremely important to be able to go to a mechanic that you trust... right ladies?

This is the best mechanical engineering workshop. Mr. Alex is the captain, a kind hearted individual who will explain the problems of your car and can workout easy payment plan for you. I have a 2008 Honda accord that needed timing chain replacement, within 2days my car was ready, the mechanics there are knowledgeable and hard working.

I was searching for a new place to take my Kia Sorento after having a terrible time attempting to make an appointment with the service center for a simple oil change and Crossroads Auto Service caught my eye. I read a few reviews and they were all positive! So I decided to take a chance and I was not disappointed! They are supposed to open at 7:30am, but no one was there this morning. I called twice and sat there until 7:45. I received a call back shortly after 8am (guess they opened at 8 this morning). Another fun fact, the gas pumps dont work when no one is there either.

Heres the story. I have a 2001 Honda Civic. It was running great, but I knew it was reaching the time/mileage where I needed to replace the timing belt, so I took it in to these guys.They replaced the belt, and immediately, on cold start, I started hearing a chirping noise when I accelerated (again, it was fine before). So I took it back in. Crossroads THEN told me that the other two belts needed to be replaced - oh, and the brakes as well.I wish they had told me this upfront, but fine. At this point, I was tired and didnt have the energy to argue that point. I told them just to fix it.Fast forward to today. The belts still chirp, and now the brakes squeak as well (and have had ample time to wear in). I have learned more about the issue and have found that they used the wrong timing belt for the car. I had a great running car that just needed some standard maintenance and it became MORE of a headache after taking it to crossroads.On top of it all, they are MUCH more expensive than comparible shops I have taking my car to now. I am going to avoid in the future.

My mother went to get a tire plugged and when the guy took the car, he unlocked the steering causing a warning light to turn on. Once she got the car back she noticed the light and told them. Their response was they don’t do anything, when the warning light was clearly not on before it was taken in. After insisting they said they would fix it but after 2 hours of waiting I got a call to see if I could help her. As I walk up I instantly see the steering wheel unlocked, I lock it and light turns off. My question is how good of a shop is this place if two mechanics standing there can’t figure out something so simple? Also the guy in the front was extremely rude saying shut up to a costumer? Really when your at fault the least you could do is apologize. She could have driven off and gotten into an accident because the steering wheel was unlocked by their guy. Avoid this place if they can’t handle something so simple, how would they be able to fix your car.

I can’t tell you how amazing Crossroads is. My car was not working well and they fixed it and then called later in the afternoon to make sure it was still ok. I’m so thankful for Crossroads today.

My car was a mess, bald tires with suspension issues causing tire wear and a rear main seal failure. Another shop had done some diagnosis that I dont think was correct. Charlie got the diagnosis right, and repairs done well. There was an issue with the part on the rear main seal job and the job had to be redone because of this - they gave me a loaner car for the duration and didnt charge me to make it right. Friendly and knowledgeable.
